After what the lady said to Tony, guilt has been eating him up a lot. To make things worse even the Avengers were getting a lot of hate after their last mission in Africa. So this led to Secretary Ross, the Secretary of the States to visit them. Then he gave them a contract that says that the Avengers will now be supervised and held responsible for what they do. Some agreed to this while others like Steve and Sam didn't.
Then things just got worse as the King of Wakandan was killed at the Accord in Vienna. The main suspect was the ex Winter Soldier; James Buchanan Barnes, a.k.a Bucky, an old friend of Steve. Seeing that his old friend was still alive he made it personal and to capture him himself. In the end Steve and Sam tried to save him from getting captured but the three of them including the new Wakandan King T'Challa who was the Black Panther, all got captured. They were all sent to Berlin so Bucky could be psychologically evaluated and extradited. Then the true bad guy, Helmut Zemo, placed some kind of tech bomb to cut out the power and free Bucky after saying keywords that turned him back into Winter Soldier.
Steve and Sam got out and went after him again. They were able to get the old Bucky back but they needed a place to hide him and to make sure he turned back again. Steve knew only one person that could help him.
Kagome had just finished her class and headed back to her apartment. Before she could enter the place she sensed other people inside. One was Steves', the other was another Avenger agent Sam but the third guy she didn't know. So she opened the door and saw Steve and Sam sitting in the living room with the third guy she didn't know with the curtain close.
"Uncle Steve? Sam? Hi I didn't know you were in town." She said
"Hey, Kagome. Good seeing you again kid." Steve said
"So who's the new guy?" She asked
"This...This is my old friend James Barnes." Steve said
The name made Kagomes' eyes widen and got into defence mode as she had heard the name before.
"The Winter Soldier. Steve, are you kidding me? Why did you bring the bad guy to my apartment?" She glared
"Kagome, please, listen to me. Yes, Bucky has killed and hurt a lot of people but he was brainwashed and controlled by HYDRA. And I believe he is being set up. I just need to ask you for one favor. Please, Kagome." Steve explained
Kagome looked into Bucky's soul and felt a lot of guilt and confusion but had nothing dark inside of him.
"What do you want me to do?" She asked
Steve sighed in relief that she's willingly to help.
"His brain is still being brainwashed somehow, do you think you can fix that?" He asked
