Happy February folks!
Ok, so this is going to be a very very small filler chapter! I was supposed to add this to the next bigger chapter but this was a left over scene from the last chapter's revelation. I had in mind to write but it got left out due to last minute cramming for Uni tests.
Consider this the official start for the Emily Subplot!
Also Kudos to everyone who doubted that Stephanie was End Game!
Reviewers:
GraceEllingson - You gotta tell me when and why and where and how you figured it out! And also I will definitely release all my thoughts and plots that didn't see the light of the day at the end of the series. So...you're not exactly spared!
Varsini C P - Oh you don't really have to bribe me, you know! And yep, that's exactly what I'ms saying!
M - Hey! Welcome back!
Valen Goncalvez - Here it is!
There was dead silence.
A long, piercing shrill silence - that was made worse by the fact that more than half of the occupants of the living room were vampires. Seven vampires who sat completely still, not even hair fluttering as they kept their eyes fixed on Dr. Sorenson.
And then finally, when I could almost no longer take it –
"I knew it!"
A heavy thud landed on the oaken coffee table, hard enough for the sturdy wood to wobble on its legs.
I jumped, Alice wrapping a quick arm around my shoulder as we turned to look at Emmett. His huge frame was coiled excitedly, curly dark hair falling into his face as he sneered at the doctor who had taken several steps towards the front door.
Rosalie frowned up at her mate.
"No, you didn't." she said, tinkling voice disdainful.
Emmett ignored her before looking at me. "Listen, I know I don't take a lot seriously but you have to believe me now. Carlisle might already know this, maybe even the Volturi do but there had been a lot of rumors back when I was human that a group of people were trying to blur the lines between different worlds. We brushed them off as conspiracy theorists at that time."
"It was a group of shaman, if I remember correctly." Carlisle muttered.
Emmett shrugged. "Doesn't matter what they were, what I'm saying is that it has been possible for a long time." He said.
Carlisle nodded, standing up himself. "Emmett's right. In those time, we used to call it dream walking." He said.
I gasped, reaching up to grasp Edward's hand. "Stephanie Meyer used to say she got the idea for Twilight in a dream where she saw a vampire and a human having a conversation."
Edward frowned down at me then at Sorenson. "Could it be possible that it was Emily, in fact, that had the dream?"
Sorenson nodded. "I don't know if Stephanie did in fact have the dream or not but if anybody was actually seeing monsters here, it was Emily."
"Ok so," I stood up, turning around the couch to pace about.
"Emily is interested in inter-dimensional paradigms; she figures out a way to travel through the break and lands here where vampires and wolves are all real. She finds it fascination and keeps coming back, eventually falling and love and getting married. The things she sees here take a toll on her and she wants to prove that her research has merit so she goes back. This should mean that she should be really old but since time works differently in other dimensions she probably returns young again. She tells her family what happened but they don't believe her. Now either Stephanie steals her ideas or maybe she really had a dream based on what her sister said and wrote up Twilight, the exact replica of the world that Emily had been in. She feels betrayed and angry. So, she becomes evil." I finished, turning to face Edward who had walked up behind me in concern.
"That's all really great, T, but the question still remains. Why would she send us here?" Stephen drawled out.
I looked at him then up at my boyfriend who made a shushing voice, resting his hands on my shoulders.
"Take it easy love; you're getting blue in the face." He whispered.
Following his instructions I took a deep breath before looking at Carlisle.
"What do you think?" I asked.
"I must say what you say seems the closest derivative of the truth in the face of Sorenson's late but," he glanced at the old professor, "much appreciated revelations."
"So, why would she send us here then? We have done absolutely nothing to help her and I doubt we would anyway. It doesn't make sense." I said, looking at Sorenson as he nodded gravely.
"As to that, my dear, even I do not have answers."
Ok, so that's done!
Now, I have a question, if I were to hold a question and answer session for Touch in the Worlds, in which you could ask me anything (How I world built, the changes I made to Canon Twilight, the changes I made to characters, myths and lores I used and you could even ask the characters questions) How many of you would be interested?
Until Next Time!
