It was a bright and cloudless morning in Victorian Melbourne and Victoria Hills was wondering down Collins Street holding her long white dress up to avoid getting dirt and mud on it. A large open air carriage clattered past and Victoria curled into herself after being nearly knocked over by the force of the wind. Continuing on her journey she ducked into a brick lined alleyway to avoid a cooper who was passing by. Clutching the heavy bag of coins in her pocket, Victoria swept down the alleyway and stopped at a small door set far back into the wall. She knocked and handed te bag to the man who answered it. No words were passed and Victoria kept her head down as she walked back down the alleyway. Out of the corner of her eye, Victoria saw a blinding white light and she slowly walked towards it in a daze. She reached out to touch it and the light engulfed her. Victoria's scream fell on deaf ears as her world went black and she was erased from time.
Victoria awoke in a tree. Hugging the tree tightly to avoid falling out, she surveyed her surroundings. Tall spindly trees of white bark were everywhere and beyond them was a dry dusty landscape. The smell of eucalyptus swam through the air and coils of smoke rose on the horizon. Victoria screamed for help, but no help came. Ever so slowly the young woman's fingers slipped from around the thin trunk and she fell screaming out of the tree. After somehow landing on her feet, Victoria wandered through the trees, her dress snagged on the bushes and the hem got covered in dust and dirt. Soon enough Victoria tripped over a rough tree root and suddenly found herself in falling head first into a fiercely raging river!
Victoria spluttered up water as she surfaced, her heavy dress dragging her down as she flailed in the water. The water continued to pull her further downstream towards some stony stones. They were pointy and wicked looking, their sharp edges glowing in the fading sunlight. Victoria tried to scream, but the water filled her mouth and she was forced to close in fear of drowning. Spots began to form in vision as she was swept closer and closer to the rocks. Just as she was about to pass out a log came out of nowhere and she climbed onto it before blacking out once more.
When Victoria awoke, she was (somehow) still clinging to the log. Her dress was drenched and her hair was filled with twigs and leaves. She would not be surprised if there was fish poop in there. The water was now calmer, so Victoria slowly paddled to shore. It didn't matter if her dress got dirty, it was already basically black anyway. Once on land again, Victoria sat down on the muddy banks and cried her heart out. Teary of pure hatred, sadness and anger rolled down her cheeks and splashed into the ground. Soon a small pool was surrounding her and she continued to cry. Soon Australia was flooded, then the world, then the galaxy, then the universe. (Back to the story. Sorry got side tracked) Anyway, you get the idea. Victoria was crying for quite some time.
After an hour of crying, a strange noise filled the air. It was a wheezing and groaning noise, sort of mixed together. Victoria looked up in time to see a blue box memorised in front of her. The door opened and a strange man wearing a tweed jacket and a red bow tie. The man introduced himself as the Doctor and picked her up and carried her into the box. Once inside he placed her on a seat and scanned her with a silver tube that made a funny buzzing noise. When he had finished that, the Doctor made his way over to the center of the room and flicked some switches on the counter like thing. The room shook violently for about a minute before stopping. The Doctor stepped out and Victoria followed him still in daze. As soon as she exited the box (?) he shut the door and the box disappeared.
Years later Victoria moved to Scotland and met a man named Jamie McCrimmon and they got married. They had 2 daughters, one of which married a man called James Pond. One day in the late 1990's a little girl was born called Amelia Pond, who also met the Doctor.
