I died. There was nothing more to it. Death was terrifying, I felt unimaginable pain, thankfully it didn't last long. In life, I always liked to think logically, even if sometimes I didn't follow that logic. So, even though, I felt sad I would never see my family again, I moved past my sadness quickly.

"So, you've died." Said a voice.

"Who are you?" I said masking my surprise with a question. "Where am I?"

"I am the Void and you are currently inside me." It spoke vaguely.

"Ok, why am I inside you." Seriously, I died, I was expecting something after that, maybe paradise, or even hell. I was never really a bad person, I may have sinned quite a few times, but I was fairly sure I had helped more people, I had become a doctor in my life, and I had saved many lives, that surely would've gotten me paradise.

"Why am I here?"

"You are here because your sins and your virtues are the same, 50/50. All those who have no place in paradise and hell, go straight to the Void, for judgment."

"Ok, first. How the hell do I have the same virtues and sins? I've done way more good deeds than bad deeds! Seriously, I'm certain I've saved thousands of lives in my career! That should account for loads of good deeds! And second. What does it mean I will await judgment? does that mean I have a chance to go to both paradise and hell? and how am I even going to be judged!?" I said losing my composure. Seriously, this voice is so vague, it makes no sense. How are they going to judge me, are they going to go into my inner soul and see if I'm good or bad or something like that, or are they going to give me a test.

"I'll answer your questions in order. You have the same virtues and sins due to most of your patients becoming robbers, mafia crime bosses, killers, etc. A quarter of the crimes they committed went to you due to it being your responsibility they were alive. If you hadn't gotten a lot of virtues due to the other quarter something patients you saved which all became well-respected doctors, policemen, and army officers you would've gone to hell. You can also not obtain paradise nor hell. They are both far out of your reach now. You will be judged by chance, such a thing as karma exists, if you have more good karma than bad karma then your luck will be better, so you'll get a better roll. To decide what to do with you, I will spin a wheel, and whatever it stops on will be where you'll spend the rest of your life."

"What do you mean the rest of your life, are you going to reincarnate me? And if so, then what happens after I die?" I was still in shock that I had helped save so many would-be criminals. And what did it even mean by karma? how does my karma get determined? if it's how many sins and virtues I have, wouldn't it be split down the middle?

"I will reincarnate you into a world, you will spend the rest of your life there, after death, you will come back to the void, and this cycle will be repeated for eternity. Except, the next few times, karma won't matter, so it'll be based solely on chance. Don't worry though, everywhere you'll be reincarnated you'll remember what happened. Due to the amount of time, you've spent in the void even if it is little, you've unlocked eidetic memory. So, any more questions?"

"No."

"Good. Then, let's roll."

Suddenly, a giant wheel appeared with an arrow pointing at one of the spaces, there were so many things written on the wheel in every space, that I could hardly see all of them, some I could see was 'Naruto, 1'st Hokage era', 'The Promised Neverland, Isabelle era' and 'Death Note, Light era' just to name a few. It seemed that most of the places I could be reincarnated in were animes. There were also different era's in them like 'Death Note, Watari era', this made it interesting, though I had no intentions of going to Death Note, I wanted to stay very far away from there. I wanted to be reincarnated into a world where I could obtain power through practice and potentially become immortal so I wouldn't have to return to the void.

The wheel started rolling… and then arrived at 'Naruto, 1st Hokage era'. This meant I would be part of the Hiruzen generation, this was good but also very bad. There were many options available this time around, I could learn Fuinjutsu from Mito Uzumaki, I could also potentially get an apprenticeship from Madara Uchiha, Tobirama Senju, and even Hashirama Senju. I could get loads of experience from all the wars I'd go through and I would be very far away from the 4th great ninja war. I could also get DNA from Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha to get the rinnegan.

These were all the pros, now all the cons, learning Fuinjutsu from Mito Uzumaki would be basically impossible unless I could impress her, and make her believes whole-heartedly that I am loyal to Konoha. Now, I would be loyal to Konoha, but I wouldn't risk my life for it. Next, learning from the 2 Senju and the Uchiha wouldn't really be that hard as long as I was higher than Hiruzen or equal to him at the academy, as long as I dedicated myself whole-heartedly to becoming a ninja, that wouldn't be impossible, I just needed to hope I would be born in a clan, and hopefully not the Hyuga unless it was the main branch. The experience from the wars would be great if I didn't die, I mean when the shinobi alliance was fighting against the reanimated corpses, the fights weren't that hard.

Like Mifune beat Hanzo, how is that even possible, Hanzo was the one who made Amegakure, The Village Hidden in the Rain an independent village even though most of the battles fought in the 2nd ninja war was in Amegakure, like seriously he fought against the sannin, a few years before their prime and he demolished them as he gave them the title, 'the legendary three' because they survived his first attack, he could have easily beat them. So, I was fairly certain that Hanzo in the wars after this era would be way more powerful than reanimated Hanzo and I shouldn't even think about getting DNA from Hashirama and Madara, getting DNA from Hashirama would be easy due to him dying and his body being used to harvest his DNA but getting some from Madara, without Black Zetsu knowing. No… No… might as well cross that from my list.

And then the most hazardous disadvantage was that Medical Ninjutsu would be so outdated, this wasn't necessarily a disadvantage as I could reinvent a lot of Tsunade's medical ninjutsu by getting perfect chakra control, though that would require a lot of training but I was planning to get perfect chakra control anyway. I was a doctor in my, I guess previous life, so I could even bring some new medical ideas to Konoha.

I just realized… Being reincarnated into the 1st Hokage era doesn't necessarily mean that I'll be reincarnated into Konoha but hopefully, that would be the case.

"Ok, I'm ready, reincarnate me!"

"Hmm… Ok then, you'll be reincarnated as a baby, and due to your eidetic memory, you'll remember everything. Nothing will change in the world to accommodate you. It'll be identical to the original Naruto world. There will be no such thing as Plot convenience, but that doesn't mean that things such as Naruto's speeches won't work as that's natural charisma. The world will be copied exactly how Masashi Kishimoto imagined it. The reanimated corpses were weaker because even if Kabuto nearly perfected the reanimation jutsu, the people summoned by it were still significantly weaker, for example, how Madara Uchiha was winning when he was reanimated but was destroying when he was revived."

"Good Luck, hope I don't see you any time soon, you will be reincarnated into Konoha, so don't worry, but you will have basically no resources due to being reincarnated as a civilian, I don't think you'll really need them, you already have so many resources due to your memory of Naruto. You'll be in an orphanage, so you'll have a lot of free will."

Year 0, Day 0

"Congratulations, it's a boy!"

"Name him, sweetie."

"I have just the perfect name, Rue… Rue Ryuzaki."

'and so my boredom begins'
