Author's note: Series of re-arranged moments, Tom and Sasha's reunions throughout season 3 to 5. All chapters are independent. I'm not forget my other story "forbidden miracle" but i've had this idea in mind for so long, we didn't see any of their reunions on screen and it kind of got me frustrated. Hope you'll enjoy.

"Captain Chandler, welcome to Asia! Such an honour to meet you. I've been waiting such a long time for this moment. His words."

The second he saw her, everything else got canceled. He didn't know she was his contact. Cooper, he quickly figured out she was married, and that's what he hoped for her, she deserved to be happy. He was standing there, right in the middle of president Peng's mansion, with Wolf and Val by his side, looking at his ex-girlfriend, speechless. She was talking - translating, but he couldn't hear a word of what she was saying. He was focusing on her lips, and on how beautiful she was, age didn't change her that much. Still flawless, the same porcelain skin, dark-mahogany hair, and still this malicious flame dancing into her eyes.

"Tom Chandler, handsome, smart, noble and the most stubborn sailor you'll ever meet."

She wasn't translating anymore. Tom could see the intrigued and also amused looks on Val and Wolf's faces even if he wasn't facing them. It was too obvious they knew each other, and they were using this Korean guy to connect again. She was thinner, and her face looked more angular but he felt like hypnotised, remembering every single details about her.

"Please thank him for me." he finally managed to say. "And tell him, if i recall, there is one sailor who's even more stubborn." She smiled and looked down just to hide the blush on her cheeks and avoid his gaze. "And could break your heart without breaking a sweat."

This time she totally blushed knowing what he was talking about. Their story, 15 years ago, back at the naval academy in Annapolis, and how it ended. He was her instructor and she was the student, the most stubborn, rebel but brilliant student. And slowly, months after months they developed a special bond, a forbidden but wonderful one.

"Tom"

She finally spoke, her voice filled with too many emotions. He locked his regard on hers. "Sasha."

For fifteen years she didn't hear from him. She only heard about Darien because she was still in the States when they got married. She had to let him go because she knew he wouldn't be happy with her, without the family, the kids and the life he wanted. She didn't want kids, she was too young, almost ten years apart with him. And it broke her heart to pack her stuff from his apartment and then go. She'd cried for a month, and when she heard that he was getting married to a nice civilian lady, she'd cried for two more. Not that she was jealous, but because she knew their chapter was really done, And so was he, he'd turned the page and started something new. And she had to do the same.

But after all, it was better, that's what she always tried to think. At least he would have the life he wanted, even if it wasn't including her in it. This thought was painful as hell. She wished she could have give him everything, but her career was important and back in time, she was fully focused on traveling and becoming a badass officer. She hadn't time for kids.

Years later, she got married to a nice interpreter she'd met during a conference, Bren Cooper. They were happy, got a house together and she loved him so much but deeply knew this relation wouldn't be like Tom's, not as platonic and fiery. Few months after they'd moved to their new home, the red flu pandemic happened and she quickly got dispatched in Asia, without tasting the marital life. She never got the chance to experience it. Neither of seeing him again.

And it broke her heart, one more time.

But seeing Tom again made her heart beats so fast, too much. She'd tried to hide every feelings, and every emotions since her husband passed away, focusing on work and on how to help Asia to recover. It was hell of a job, and it provided her everything but boredom. Which was good, so her mind was always busy and she had no time to think about her broken heart and the man, the only one she would call the love of her life.

Tom.

Even after breaking up, he was still the number one and as much as she loved Bren, he wasn't the love of her life. She shook her head, getting out of her thoughts to focus on what he was saying. It was almost awkward to talk after such a long time, but it felt good. Good to hear his voice. It reminded her all the things he'd told her, all the things that made her heart melts multiple times a day. She felt like the pieces of her heart were reconnecting as he was speaking. His deep voice hadn't change a bit, his angular face aged over time, his hair had whitened but he was still beautiful. She could still see every emotions he was trying to hide. He always had been an open book for her and hiding things had never been much an easy task for him, especially when they were arguing. And so was she. He knew exactly when something was up, good or bad, even when she didn't want to talk about it, trying to reassure him with the same four words. "It's nothing, i'm fine."

"You never called."

That wasn't an blame just a sentence. He stayed quiet. Because he always got a bit scared about calling her, just to get news, to know if life was treating her well. And she thought she deserved it, after all, she left him heartbroken. She was the bitch who dumped the handsome Tom Chandler. He stopped and took a moment to look at her properly. Seeing her again after all those years made him feel happy, but he didn't know how to properly act around her.

"What ?" she asked, feeling his gaze on her.

"Nothing" he whispered. He cleared his throat. "Cooper, your married name ?"

She nodded. "Believe it or not, i've found love after you." she paused. "Took a while." a soft smile on their lips, both knowing why it took her a while. And as they continued to walk toward the big dinning room, they both realised they'd lost their spouse. Calls it a sign, Sasha thought to herself.

Tom was lost, he didn't expect to find her here, and definitely not as his contact. Now, it would be really hard to get her out of his mind when everything he wanted was to kiss her, and explore every details to make sure she was his Sasha, the one who broke her heart but also taught him what was true love. But they had to attend the dinner with all the asian leaders and had so much more to discuss while he couldn't forget his first goal, the reason why he had been sent here, in New China. Even when his whole body was urging him to get closer to Sasha's.

He did forget.

For a bit. After dinner they went on the balcony for some fresh air, needing to have a some time alone, them two only. He was staring at the sea, the sky was clear, with no clouds, it was such a beautiful night. Both of them didn't say a word, appreciating the quietude of the night, almost intimated, like teenagers awkwardly hanging out together for the first time.

"I never thought about seeing you again." he finally broke the silence, still not looking at her. She listened, knowing he wasn't done. "After you left, i wondered if i asked you too much. I wanted to call you, to let you know i wanted to be with you, tell you how much i loved you. I wanted you to know i could forget about the kids, the family life and everything if you were still by my side, as my wife. But I was scared as hell you would reject me, again. Then I met Darien, we got married and had children. I was happy and had everything you didn't want, but something buried deep inside of me knew i would never be fully complete. Not until i would see you again. And with the pandemic, i had no clue about you being alive or not. Even if doubting about your ability to handle yourself through hard times sounds like an insult."

He finally turned around to look at her. He took one of her hand, rubbing his thumb against her soft skin, never leaving her gaze. She had to hold back her breathe, knowing they were playing a very dangerous game. Too dangerous, she felt her body alerting her, screaming at her to leave right now and go back to the dinning room. But she couldn't move.

"Tom…." she whispered, the words suddenly stuck into her throat, unable to be heard out loud. She wanted to kiss him, she needed to be touched by him one more time, to reconnect after all of this time, it wasn't professional and she was aware of it. But the call was being too strong and her stomach was twisting as hell.

He looked around them to be sure no one was watching, and she immediately understood, grabbing his hand to take him out of sight, just in case, in a dark corner of the balcony, hidden behind some plants. That's the moment they both got lost. He pulled her against the wall, his lips finally crashing on her in a desperate and passionate kiss. It felt like their lungs needed it to be fully functional. Deepening it, their tongues started a ballet, always the same one. At some point she felt his hands along her body, under her blazer. She felt a warm feeling growing inside of her, taking so much place that it was almost painful. She wanted him as much as he wanted her. They needed each other so bad.

"Tom…." she managed to say in between kisses, lips still on his. "Don't start something you can't finish…"

He deepened the kiss, one more time, almost out of air but he didn't care, he needed to show her how much he'd missed her. How much he loved her still, even after all those years apart. But seeing her again just relighted the feelings he had tried to keep buried deep inside. She was driving him crazy, she apparently still had this power, making him feel weak when it was about her. "Sasha…stop talking" he mumbled, eyes closed.

This time she kissed him first. One of his hand was caressing her hip while the other one slipped under the white silken blouse she was wearing. He wanted to take her right now and right here, forgetting about his mission, forgetting everything, only focusing on her. As their body got closer, she felt his hardness through his whites dresses, against her and it immediately made the fire in her body burn even more. She couldn't think clearly, he was hypnotising her that she was totally losing control.

"My quarters…" she said, breathless, knowing it was too dangerous to stay out here. Because anyone could come and catch them. They didn't get caught back in Annapolis when their relationship was forbidden, so it would certainly not start now they were much older and mature. In a record time they avoided everyone and reached her quarters in the mansion. It wasn't big but very comfortable, and well decorated. But Tom had better in mind rather the interior design. He pushed Sasha against the door once she'd locked it, kissing her with ferocity, his hand slipping under her clothes, but this time he reached her breast, cupping one and gently stroking it, making her moan against his lips. Still kissing her, his second hand unbuttoned her pants and slowly made way further down to her sensible and hot centre.

"God Sasha, you're so wet…" he whispered, letting her mouth to focus on her neck, knowing she had a special spot he always teased to drive her crazy. And when he felt her shiver, he knew nothing had changed.

By this time she'd freed his throbbing erection, pushing down just enough his pants and hers, wanting to feel him inside of her. She locked gaze with him for a second and he immediately understood her request. One swift move and he was inside of her, holding their breathes, letting them go after few seconds, moaning. They immediately felt complete, like if they were the missing pieces of each other's puzzle. He then started to move, not bothering to be gentle, lifting one of her leg for a better access, groaning against her lips, knowing he wouldn't last long. The only thought of taking her almost made him come in his pants. And he have had this thought since he'd first step inside the mansion to meet her. Tom was thrusting harder and faster, the sounds of their skins against one another and the moans of pleasure filling the whole room. It was enough for Sasha to feel her own release coming, hitting her hard and seconds later she was clenching around him, crying out his name, almost convulsing into his arms. Feeling her warm walls tightening around his cock finished him and with one last and deep thrust after, Tom was emptying himself inside of her, groaning into the crock of her neck, seeing stars.

"What are you doing to me Sasha…." he whispered once he got his breathing under control, tucking a piece hair behind her ears, getting lost in her wonderful gaze. They were brilliant, she always used to have this look after sex, and he thought it was cute. Looking down, he finally realised how desperate they were because they still had their clothes on. She followed his gaze and it made her laugh, this sweet and communicative laugh he loved to ear so much. He then slipped out of her, both of them still trying to catch their breath, unable to speak about what just happened.

Because it had to happens.

Looking at each other, they stayed put at the doorstep for few minutes, only lifting up their clothes and trying to look presentable again. She came closer and tried to fix the collar of his vest, feeling the pressure of his eyes on her. Sasha then rubbed the folds off his shoulders, and he slowly kissed her forehead, eyes closed. "I've never doubt you would survive, you didn't change at all." It was a whisper full of love and nostalgia. She lifted her chin to look at him and kissed him one more time, but this time slowly, to appreciate the moment, without rushing.

"I've never doubted either. And in case you wonder, i have an implant." She smiled to him. "Come, president Peng and the guests are probably wondering where we are." He nodded and followed her out of the room to the corridors, knowing what happened wasn't professional at all, but personally that was what he'd been waiting for. Even when he didn't know it himself, when everything around him was blurry and dark, his body and soul always knew. She'd always been the sun of his days and the moon of his nights. "And by the way Captain Chandler, i'm really happy to see you."

She'd insisted on his rank and it made him smile a little, knowing Sasha was never using it when she was talking to him, even back at school. Yes, she was still his Sasha.
