Kazuya made his way slowly through the town, his arm linked to the person walking alongside him. A smile was on his face from all the happiness he was feeling.

"I'm glad you decided to stop being by a rental girlfriend..."

"Yes..." Chizuru nodded, gazing at the brunette with a sweet, tender expression. "And I can finally be your girlfriend - for real."

Kazuya's heart fluttered inside his chest over hearing the beautiful young woman say such words. He could scarcely believe she was saying them about him. Life could not be better for him right now.

He had finally been granted his wish to have a genuine relationship with the love of his life.

No longer was he paying her to spend time with him, pretending they were a couple. The pair had finally hooked up at last. No longer was Chizuru only acting like she had feelings for him in exchange for profit.

It was real love she felt for him.

Staying close together, the couple rounded a corner, entering a wide open-spaced part of the town. It had a fair number of people making their way through it - some of whom they instantly recognised.

"Look!" Kazuya exclaimed. "There's Ruka!"

"Oh well, for once, I'm pleased to see her..." Chizuru smiled. "...since she's no longer going to be stalking you!"

From where she stood, Ruka spotted the couple and waved. Had she seen them here a few months ago, she would have tried to steal Kazuya's attention from Chizuru. This time, however, she just let the two of them be as she walked with her hand in Kuri's.

"Looks like you're not the only rental girlfriend who hooked up with a client for real..." Kazuya commented, watching the girl who had been obsessed with him in the past strolling lovingly with the one she'd ended up with - who also happened to rent her out in the past.

"And look over there!" Chizuru cried cheerily. "There's Sumi!"

The red-haired girl squealed happily when she saw her friends from where she was. She used one arm to wave joyfully to them, keeping her other one linked with Kibe's.

"She sure has come out of her shell..." Chizuru remarked, "I've never seen her so confident in herself. It all changed ever since she found out who she's meant to be with..."

"She's not the only one who's found out where she belongs..." Kazuya said in a quiet voice. "Look who I've just seen..."

Chizuru turned towards where her partner was pointing towards - which led to her hazel eyes widening in disbelief.

It was Mami.

The very person who had broken off her relationship with Kazuya - which led to him renting the beautiful brunette out in the first place. The chain of crazy events which they had been through followed, concluding in the pair of them ending up together.

"Mami..." Chizuru whispered, observing what the blonde was doing and what had become of her.

"She's where she belongs now. My relationship with that girl is forever in the past..."

Turning his gaze away from his ex, Kazuya smiled warmly, locking gazed with the young woman alongside him. He held her hands gently in hers.

"My present and future is with you now... I want it to stay that way...forever..."

"Oh, Kazuya..."

With her eyes shining in all her happiness, Chizuru pressed her lips against Kazuya's. The brunette closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around the raven-haired girl, embracing her warmly as they kissed with all their love for each other.

So all was well now. Everyone had found out what their respective destinies were.

Chizuru had quit her job as a rental girlfriend to begin a genuine loving relationship with Kazuya.

Ruka had hooked up with Kuri.

Sumi had overcome her shyness to win the heart of Kibe.

Even Mami was finally where she well and truly belonged...
