Chapter 4
They all sat down together, eating their dinner. Emma got upset with what Enoch was saying, so she left the table. The children finished eating while Miss Peregrine answered the phone. They all went into the parlor for movie time. Horace put his monocle on his eye, and the movie started.
It started with Horace wearing a suit, then to ymbrynes in a big cage, the next one surprised them to see Miss Peregrine shaking another woman's hand, and their hands started glowing, and then it showed Emma and Jake about to kiss before Miss Peregrine turned the light on.
It was time for a reset, so the children got excited and got Jake to stay for it. Jake thought the reset was fantastic. Jake went home with Emma showing him the way. On their way, a ymbryne crashed into the wall. Emma picked it up and headed back home while Jake went back to the inn.
Emma gave Miss Peregrine the ymbryne she found and went to bed while Miss Peregrine nursed it back to health. The next day Jake came back to the house but was in the parlor with the other children. The ymbryne was all better.
She changed back into herself. It turned into Miss Avocet.
Miss Avocet looked at Miss Peregrine.
"Alma, have you seen another ymbryne yet she is in the same area as me but in a different loop?" Miss Avocet asked.
"No, I haven't. Only Emma saw you," Alma said.
Alma was about to ask when the doorbell rang. Alma went to the door with Miss Avocet following her when they go to the door. Alma opened it to see eleven children standing there.
