Chapter 5
Miss Avocet recognized them and pulled them inside, and looked them over to see if they were hurt at all. They looked at the ymbrynes in front of them.
"Are you two Miss Avocet and Miss Peregrine?" One of the children asked.
"Yes, we are. How do you know our names?" Alma said.
"Our ymbryne told us to find you why she tried to fight the hollows." Another child said.
"Where is she?" Alma said.
"We don't know." Another child said.
While the front door was still open, a screech came, and they looked up into the sky and saw a brown prairie falcon flying inside the house. Miss Peregrine's children came out of the parlor to see what the commotion was. They saw the bird land on the stairs.
The bird changed back into herself. Trinity had her back to them. She had brown hair in a plaited bun, turned around. They saw that Trinity had blue eyes, a button nose, and rounded puffy lips coated in red lipstick. She was wearing a black skirt that ended at her knees, a white top, a black jacket, and black high heel shoes. Alma thought Trinity was beautiful. She was the most beautiful ymbryne she had ever seen.
She sighed in relief when she saw her children. Trinity ran to them. Trinity hugged all her children.
She saw Miss Avocet and hugged her. Miss Avocet looked her over and saw Trinity had cuts on her face. Trinity looked at everyone.
"Hello, I'm Trinity, and these are my children Analia, her brother Jasper, Braelynn, Fleur, her brother Elijah, Liana, Marisole, Willa, Beau, Jaiden, and Caleb," Trinity said. Everyone looked at her, but then Alma stepped forward.
"I'm Alma Peregrine, and these are my children Claire, the twins, Bronwyn, Olive, Emma, Enoch, Millard, Hugh, Fiona, and Horace," Alma said. Trinity kept staring at Alma. She couldn't help it; she was beautiful.
Jake and the children looked at Trinity and saw it was the woman from Horace's dream. Trinity and Alma shook hands, and their hands glowed. They both looked at each other and smiled.
