Natsu looks at Irene with adoration and affection as he removes her veil and takes her hands.

" I love you Mrs. Irene Dragneel" Natsu grin and lean forward and capture her lips in a searing kiss making the audience cheer for the new couple.

" I love you too Mr. Dragneel" Irene whisper as their lips separated. She looks at her husband with affection and kisses his lips again making the crowd cheer for them.

" Love Live King and Queen Dragneel!"

" Long Live King and Queen Dragneel!"

Natsu and Irene look at Igneel who grins at him and gave him thumbs up. Belserion look at the couple with approval in his eyes.

Natsu turns to the side seeing his brother Zeref smiling at them. He approaches them as the two hugs each other.

" Brother. I am glad that your here"

" It's the most important event for my brother. How could I not attend?"

" Well. I'm glad that you take a break from your studies. You should find a wife already" Natsu grin. He looks at Irene lovingly who smiles at the brothers' interaction.

" I think you already met my beautiful wife." Natsu playfully said making Irene giggle.

" Of course. Welcome to the family Irene... The only woman that manages to break the denseness of my brother" Zeref tease. Natsu playfully scowls and lightly punches her brother.

" I'm not that dense."

" I'm sorry love. But you will not notice my love for you if I didn't kiss you on the lips. And I'm sure that I am direct towards my affection to you" Irene tease making Natsu pout.

" At least I still married you" Natsu grumble as the three of them laugh.

" I must be going... I'm sure you two have a honeymoon to spend your nights with." Zeref laugh as he left the two blushing in their place.

The stars shine bright through the sky as the silence of the night surrounded the city. Now that people know dragon slaying magic, they start to win the war against the dragon and bring temporary peace to the kingdom.

And one of the creators of said magic is standing on the balcony watching the stars above. The sky that is covered with smokes is now cleared because of their victory. And the peace of their kingdom is achieved.

Once a dream becomes a reality. Dragons and humans co-exist in this world. And on top of it all, her childhood friend, best friend, and now her husband for 3 years are at her side. Irene reminiscing the memories she didn't notice the hands encircling her waist until she feels the familiar warmth she used to.

" Why are you still awake? my love" Natsu murmur. Irene sigh leaning her back against her husband's front as he kisses the crook of her neck making her sigh in contentment.

" I'm just reminiscing the life we've been through my love. The path of struggles and battles we endure for our country. And now, we achieve peace."

" And it's all because of you," Natsu said. Irene turns her head to the side meeting her husband's loving gaze.

" No... It's because of us. We have each other... I don't know how did I get lucky to have you in my life." She said lovingly. Natsu's gaze softens.

" Irene" Natsu said softly as he touches her cheek and leans his forehead against her.

" I am the lucky one to have you at my side. You are my light and the source of my strength. I think when I first met you, my hearts know that you're the one. My soul mate and my true love" Natsu said softly pouring all his love for his wife. Irene looks at her husband as tears fall from her eyes.

" Natsu..." Irene said facing her husband and capturing his lips with a heated passion of lip-lock. The two kiss under the moonlight as their body is almost molded into one.

Their lips separated as they catch their breath from the intense kiss and look at each other lovingly.

" I want to start a family with you," Irene said making Natsu eyes widen.

" A-Are you sure?"

" Yes," Irene said with determination. "I am ready to have children. I want to wake up with mini you running around the castle." Natsu let his tears fall. Irene smiles softly as she wipes her husband's tear. He grins and kisses her with passion and love

" I would love to start a family with you," Natsu said lifting Irene as she encloses her legs around his torso. The two continue to their kiss as they try to dominate each other. Natsu bites her lower lip making her moan as she pulls her body closer to her husband as they keep kissing. Natsu walks towards their bed without breaking their kiss.

Natsu set her gently to the bed as he crawls on top of her taking her beauty under the moonlight. Natsu gulp taking his wife's beauty as he leans down and kisses her lips pouring all his life for her and vise versa.

Irene moans as her husband starts to kiss her neck down to her bosom and start to leave marks on it. She watches as her husband removes her nightgown. She licks her lips seeing her husband bare top. She encircles her hands around his neck and kissed each other again.

She moans as her husband starts entering her. She remembers her first time with her husband and how right and perfect he is for her. Her hand clawing at her husband's back as he starts to move inside and out. Her moan stifles as they engage in a heated lip lock.

This night of lovemaking is different from what they doing every night. This one contains more passion, love, and purpose to start a family. The warm feeling that they always feel towards each other keeps growing.

" I-I love you Natsu," Irene said between moan as she feels the hot feeling inside her starting to burst.

" I love you too... Irene" Natsu said between grunts as he felt burning inside him ready to burst.

" Ugh...Ahhh" Both moaned as they reach their climax. Natsu let his body fall to Irene making her smile. She felt her husband's seed deep inside her womb and it brought further warmth to her body. Irene hugs her husband closer to her body as Natsu's member stays inside her.

Natsu lay in the bed with Irene resting on top of him. They make love to each other until they reach their limit and now resting in their chamber. Irene runs her finger through her husband's toned chest and feeling the warmth from his body.

" I can't wait for our new baby to come," Irene said touching her womb. Natsu looks at her softly and rests his hand where their child will be housing for 9 months. They are sure that all the lovemaking they did tonight will result in a child.

" I can't wait for her to come."

" Do you think it will be a girl?"

" I have a feeling about it. And besides, I will have a little girl that will look like her mama. I am gonna be a protective father." Natsu said with a grin making Irene giggle.

" Just don't overdo it." Irene giggle knowing how protective Natsu will be in the future.

" I can't promise. You know how I am when it comes to family."

" I know. And that's one of the reasons why I love you."

" How about you? Do you want to have a girl or a boy?" Natsu asks

" I don't care about gender. As long as they are a healthy baby." Irene smiles softly.

Time skip

" Lady Irene! Lord Natsu! Bad news!" The soldiers shout as they approach Irene and Natsu who are relaxing in the garden.

" What is it?" Irene asks in worry. Natsu stands beside his wife as they listen to the soldier's report.

" Belserion-sama died last night. We found his dead body in the clearings." Irene gasp as she almost stumbles back if not for Natsu catching her.

" What happened? I thought the dragon war already ended. And besides, as far as we know, Belserion is visiting his friend's dragons. How can it happen?" Natsu frown.

" According to the report. Belserion-sama encounters a dragon slayer that starts turning into a dragon and went into a rampage. We don't know what causes this but every dragon slayer becomes a dragon and starts rampaging around the cities."

" Leave us. Call for a meeting. We will discuss this matter" Natsu command as the soldiers bow and left the two alone.

Natsu turns to Irene who is in a state of shock as heard her mentor and friend died on the battlefield.

" Irene," Natsu whispers not knowing what to do but hug Irene closer to him. Then, Natsu heard a soft sniffle that turns into a full-blown cry.

" Ssshhh... I'm here." Natsu comforts as he rubs her back letting her cry on his shoulder.

Natsu understands how painful it is for Irene to know Belserion become the friends and as close as her parents and what hurt is she didn't even manage to say goodbye.

" I-I want to see his body" Irene sniffle as she wipes her tears.

" I will be coming with you" Irene nod as the two went out the clearings and visit Belserion body with the soldiers guiding them to the location.

Irene and Natsu approach Belserion's dead body. Irene's eyes soften as she approaches her mentor and laid her palm on its scale.

" I'm sorry my friend. But I promise that I will avenge your death." Irene whisper.

Irene then turns to her husband who is watching the scene with a somber expression.

" I'm afraid that something big is happening here," Irene said as she looks at the burn and destroyed area.

" Dragonslayers turning into a dragon and rampaging in the city is what makes it difficult." Natsu frown. Irene turns to the soldiers.

" Transport Belserion's body and I want to prepare him for a proper burial." Irene command as they nod and follow their Queen.

" We must go back and think if our next action" Natsu suggested. Irene nod and went back to the castle.

Dragonof's Conference Hall

" We collected the reports to those survivors. It states that dragon slayers start feeling pain in the head, body, shredding of their skin and turn into dragon scales. And start attacking and destroying around them" General report making Irene and frown.

" Did the other dragons say what cause of the rampage?"

" Your majesty. According to our diagnostic, some kind of tumor growing inside. And when I consult some of our dragons, they identify it as dragon seed that makes them dragon." One of the healers said.

" This is disturbing. Dragonslayers turning into dragons and losing their minds. What about the civilians?" Irene asks and the soldiers have a look of sadness.

" When we arrive at the village, all are destroyed and killed."

BANG

People around the conference hall jump from their position seeing their King's angered look. Irene stands up and calms her husband's rage.

" Another war," Natsu said through gritted teeth as he looks at General Rung.

"Tell the dragons that we are going to the battlefield. I'm afraid that we will be fighting another dragon war." Natsu command.

" Do you wish to bring soldiers? your majesty"

" Those who wish to come can accompany me and for those chose not to are to stay here and protect the kingdom in case we failed," Natsu ordered. General Rung nods his head and bow to them as he leaves the room. Irene's eyes widen at her husband's declaration.

" I want to come with you!" Irene shout approaching her husband who is getting ready for the battle.

" You can't. This will be dangerous. I might be gone for months or years." Natsu said as he starts to walk to his chamber where his swords are.

" It will be dangerous and we need to work together. I just can't stay here doing nothing while your fighting thousands of dragons" Irene argues as she follows her husband.

" No Irene. I need to do this. And Dragonof needs you. I and the other dragons can fight in the battle." Natsu said as they enter their chamber and get his most precious swords. He attaches the sheath at the side and looks at Irene who is on the verge of crying.

" I'm not a defenseless person! I can defend myself and I am sure I can still fight!" Irene shouts at her husband who is stubborn for not letting her come.

" Think of our child!" Natsu shout making Irene froze on the spot and put her hands to where her child is growing. Natsu eyes soften seeing his wife's guilty look. He felt shame for shouting at her. He approaches her and put his hand on top of her hand.

Irene looks up at her husband with guilt. How can she forget that he is carrying their child. She almost forgot because of her worry about her husband's safety.

Natsu cupped her cheeks and look into her eyes.

" I'm sorry for shouting at you. I know your strong but right now, your not in condition. Your pregnant and I don't want anything happens to you or our baby. Please... You are my family. I can't bear the pain if I lose you or our child."

" I'm sorry," Irene said softly as she hugs her husband and burying her face to his chest. " What would I do if I lose you?" Irene ask

" I will still have a part of me that will always be with you. I may die in this battle but I know that I will do everything to protect you and our child. You and our little dragon are the most important person in my life." Natsu said making Irene smile.

" I will wait for you. Even if the war takes 100 years. I will wait for you to come back." Natsu grin as he kisses his wife's lips.

Knock

Knock

" Yes?"

" Your Majesty. The dragons and soldiers are ready to deploy. " General Rung can be heard from another side.

" Coming!" Natsu shout. He turns to Irene seeing her worried expression.

" I will be going. I will do my best to come back to you and our child" Natsu said kissing her lips. Then he kneels, facing her womb as he caresses the little bump and kisses it. Irene smiles seeing her husband's action.

" Be a good little dragon for mommy. okay? Papa has to go. Keep growing healthy and strong. Till I meet you again. My little dragon" Natsu said kissing the baby bump once again.

" Good luck. Don't do for me and our child"

" I will... As long as I'm with you" Natsu grin. Irene giggles at his words as they went outside the chamber and see him going along with the soldiers and dragons.

" General Rung. I will leave the protection of the kingdom to you. Don't let any harm come to my wife. Understood?" Natsu ordered as he rides at the dragon's back.

" I will protect her with all my life. Your majesty." General Rung bows as Natsu nod and look at his wife and wave his hand.

" I will see you after the battle, my love."

" Don't die. Come back to us." Natsu nods as he and the others went to the battlefield.

After 3 years

RRRROOOOAAAARRR!!!!

RRRROOOAAAARRR!!!

Three years of non-stop war between dragons that will be known as Dragon King Festival since there are no sides to win, to protect. Just dragons and dragon slayers fighting to each other.

But what stands out is two dragon slayers who annihilate the dragons. Only the two remain standing. Fighting for their life. One is to destroy and the other one is to protect. Both are starting to have some scales in their body as they face each other.

" Tell me your name" The other dragon slayer ask him.

" Heh. It's rude to ask a question without introducing your self"

" Very well. You may call me Acnalogia."

" Natsu Dragneel." Natsu stated as the two exchange another blows destroying those around them.

Acanalogia and Natsu are now both breathing heard and full of bruises. Both are in no condition to fight and are at their limit.

Acnalogia roar in pain as his body starts to change. Natsu watches wide eyes as his enemy starts to turn into a dragon. Natsu grit in pain as Acnalogia's dragon from start to approach him. He lifts his sword ready to attack.

" We are not in conditions to fight anymore. It will be a draw today but soon, we will meet again and we will have a fight against each other." Acnalogia said as he flies away in his dragon form. Natsu tries to follow but his exhaustion win and he drop to the ground. His dragon scales start to change back into human form. Natsu's vision starts to blur as he watches some of his soldiers coming on his way. All he can think about is his wife Irene.

Meanwhile

Dragonof Kingdom

In the base of the palace is a place where prisoners are held captive. And inside in one of the cells is a woman lying on the cold floor of the cell whose half of her body is covered with dragon scales as she curls around trying to protect her stomach and crying as she keeps mumbling the same thing.

" Natsu"

2Monxu Aki: Zeref is an important character since it all started with him. No worries, I already have a plan for Zeref's character.

It's been a while since I write this kind of fanfic. Whew. I hope you all like it! Sorry for not much fighting scene since I will save it for another chapter. I don't want to reveal much of Natsu's power.

As you can see I change some of the original plots regarding the Dragon King Festival.
