Angelina,

I will meet you at Platform 9 ¾. I love you.

Fred

"I am so excited!" Angelina said smiling widely. Her stomach was aflutter with excitement and nerves. In just a little while they would be pulling into Platform 9 ¾ where Fred would be waiting for her.

It had been two months since Fred and George had left Hogwarts. Two months since she had seen Fred. They had written a lot of letters and I mean, a lot of letter. Those letters had helped her through the end of the chaotic Quiddtich season, through studying for her NEWTs and through talking with her mom and dad about her future. But it was not the same as having him there with her. She missed his smile, his laugh, his touch. It had been two months since she had been in his arms. Two months since she had kissed him. And oh boy did miss kissing him.

"We know. You've only said it like 10 times since we pulled out of Hogsmeade station." Alicia said tossing a chocolate frog wrapper at her friend. Angelina ducked and it missed her by an inch.

"And only about 20 times since we got up this morning." Katie teased, laughing. Angelina picked up the chocolate frog wrapper and threw it back at Alicia.

"I'm sorry if I'm getting on your nerves. Maybe I should just leave." Angelina replied, feeling a little hurt as she made a move to leave the compartment.

Her emotions had been going crazy for the last two months between all the stresses she had endured- quidditch, NEWTs, Umbridge, Fred leaving. There were times when she was screaming and mad and other times when she wanted to cry and other times when she was unbelievably happy. She couldn't explain it and couldn't control it. She was living on an emotional rollercoaster and she wanted to get off. She was hoping that reuniting with Fred, and getting the results of her NEWTs would finally let her off the loop de loop ride.

Alicia grabbed her friend's arm and pulled her down into the seat next to her. "I'm sorry," she said sincerely looking into her friend's face. She could see Angelina's unstable emotions on her face. She knew what Angelina was going through. She knew how hard the last couple months had been for her. She had, after all, been there next to her throughout the whole thing. She had experienced the roller coaster of emotions Angelina had been going through almost as much as Angelina herself. And she knew that things had been a lot worse without the comforting arms of a certain red haired boy. "We you know you haven't seen Fred in a long time and we know how much you can't wait to see him. But what about us? This is our last train trip together."

Katie nodded. "She's right. We do know how much you miss him. But we are going to miss you too. This is the last time we will all be together before you two go off into the world and get jobs and stuff." She added a hint of upset in her voice.

Angelina's face fell. Alicia was right. And Katie was right. These were her two best friends in the world and this was the last time they would be traveling on the Hogwarts Express together. Tears welled up in her eyes. She felt awful that her attention was on Fred when it should have been on them and spending time together. "I'm so sorry you guys. You must think I'm a horrible person." With that she burst into tears.

"Oh Angelina," Alicia said pulling her friend into a hug. "We know why you are so excited to see Fred. We know how much you care about him." Katie walked over and sat on Angelina's other side.

"We know how much you love him and we know how hard the last couple month have been on you without him. Trust me, we missed him too." Katie said with a little chuckle. She hugged Angelina from behind. "We just want to make sure you know that we love you too. You're our Gryffindor sister."

"And I love you guys too," Angelina said with a sob, slipping her arms around her friends.

"Now stop this crying. These are happy memories." Alicia said. She gave Angelina one last squeeze and pulled away. She reached for her knapsack and pulled out a deck of Exploding Snaps. "Soon you will be with your "Freddy" and you can snog him silly. Until then, let's have a game, shall we?"

"That sounds great," Katie replied giving Angelina another squeeze too. She then popped back over to the other side of the compartment. "Pass them here and I'll deal."

Angelina sniffed and wiped her eyes with her robe sleeves. "I'm sorry guys. I don't know why I broke down like that."

Alicia smiled as she handed the deck to Katie. "We do. And it's okay." She gave her friend a pat on the arm. "Let's play some cards to take your mind off of what's waiting for you, shall we?"

Angelina smiled faintly and nodded. Katie began to deal the cards. Soon the three girls were laughing and having fun, not a tear or worry in sight.

"We will be pulling on to Platform 9 and ¾ in 10 minutes. Please be sure to collect all of your belongings before you exit the train. Thank you and have a great holiday." A breezy female voice came over the intercom as the three Gryffindor girls looked up from their card came.

"Well, we better put these away and grab our things." Katie said, collecting the cards from the table.

Angelina slowly put her cards down on the table. Her stomach was in knots all the sudden and she felt horribly nervous. Then, like the flip of a switch, her face lit up. I get to see Fred! She thought, excitement filling her again. Alicia noticed the lightening switch change in her friend and smiled to herself as she took the deck from Katie. She slipped the deck back in her knapsack.

"Alright ladies, I expect you at my house in a couple weeks for a movie night." Alicia said standing up and turning around. She reached up and yanked her trunk down from the rack above.

Katie grabbed her trunk from the shelf above her seat and dropped it to the floor with a thud. "That sounds lovely Alicia. And then you guys can come stay a weekend with me too." Katie offered. She pulled off her robes and tossed them into the trunk haphazardly.

Angelina stood up and looked between her friends. She knew this wasn't the last time they would be together but after today their friendship would change. They would all be going their own way. Alicia would be interviewing at the ministry in the next couple weeks, Katie had another year at Hogwarts and she would be trying out for the Holyhead Harpies in August and attending Muggle college in the fall. Emotions billowed up inside Angelina as she felt her eyes becoming wet again. "I'm gonna miss you guys," she said simply with a hiccup in her voice.

Katie and Alicia turned to their friend and rushed to wrap their arms around her. "We are going to miss you too," Alicia said as the three hugged. "But you and I are going to be staying in touch. I want you to keep an eye out for any cute muggle boys in your classes you can introduce me to when I come visit you at college."

Angelina laughed. "Of course Alicia."

"And I want tickets to your first game when you join the Harpies." Katie replied. Then she sighed. "It's not going to be the same without you two at Hogwarts."

Angelina frowned slightly. She was going to miss Hogwarts. There had been so many memories made there. So much of her life spent there. "It probably won't be just like it has been but it will okay Katie. Promise us you will teach the new chasers well for us. We know they will never live up to us but don't let them be an embarrassment to Gryffindor." Angelina said, breaking the three-way hug. She could hear the brakes on the train and felt the train slowing down.

"She's right. You know what you're doing and you've got to show them how it's done. Got to keep that cup in the hands of the Gryffindors'." Alicia said smiling and stepped back toward her trunk.

"I'll try. But I don't think I will be chosen as captain." Katie said locking up her trunk and stuffing her wand inside her knapsack. She then tossed it over her shoulder and grabbed the handle of her trunk. "I'm not really captain material. And after watching all the stress you went through with that job Angelina, I don't want it."

"Don't remind me!" Angelina shouted as she too threw her knapsack over her shoulder and grabbed her trunk. "Let's go get in the queue so we can be off the train first. I can't …."

"Wait to see Fred!" Katie and Alicia finished in unison. Angelina looked at them for a moment before they all laughed.

"Well I can't!" She said grabbing the door of the compartment and pulling it open.

Fred stood near a wall with a large sign that read "Platform 9 ¾". He was holding a bouquet of sweetly pink roses in his left hand. Any minute now the Hogwarts express was going to slid into place and he would get to see Angelina. His Angelina.

It had been over two months since he had last seen her. He and George were working hard in their shop and business was booming. They were busy almost every second of the day. The gallons were coming in in droves. So much in fact that he and George had discussed renting the second flat upstairs to use as a workshop. And while this made him proud and happy, something big had been missing in his life the last few months. He had been missing Angelina.

He had wanted to go back to the room of requirement and see her again but he knew that it wasn't a good idea. He knew that it would distract her from her studies and he didn't want that. But he also knew that it wasn't a good idea for him for a couple of reasons. One being that Umbridge would fillet him alive and two- he wasn't sure he'd be able to leave her again. That, of course, didn't stop him from missing her something fierce. He had read and reread all her letters about a billion times. He had sent her an owl at least once a day, even finding time to write a good 6 inch or longer letter when the shop was roaring with business. He could not wait to see her. Which is why he was here. Sure, his mum had suggested he and George come to welcome Ginny and Ron home and it would be nice to see Lee Jordan but Fred was here for her.

Just then the bright red engine pulled up to the platform. Fred fidgeted with the roses and tried to straighten one that had gone askew. There was a whoosh as the steam was let off and a clunk as the cars stopped. The doors began to open and Hogwarts students of all ages began to spill out. He stood up on tip toes to see over the mass of students, looking all over for the one face he couldn't wait to see.

And there, coming out of the car just to the left of where he stood, he saw her. His Angelina. "Angelina!" He shouted, smiling wide, and moved toward her in the crowd. His heart was racing, beating so hard he thought it might break through his chest. He watched as her head turned toward his voice. A smile spread across her face. She dropped her trunk and knapsack, just barely off the train and broke into a run toward him. "Fred!"

Fred stretched out his arms and caught her. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and spun her around. She shrieked and threw her arms around his neck. Her heart was soaring. He slowed their revolving and Angelina buried her face in the crook of his neck. She took a deep breath and he could feel her body lift and lighten in his grasp as she exhaled and breathed in again. He breathed in deep the smell of her hair at the same time. The smell of her hair and her body in his arms felt so right. He had missed her. He had missed holding her, hugging her, kissing her.

Without putting any distance between them, Fred reached up with his right hand to cup her cheek, moving her head up to look at him. He looked into her eyes. The brown pools of chocolate looked him over and seemed to sigh. She looked deep into his eyes, then glanced down at his lips. With that glance, Fred leaned forward and took her lips with his. He kissed her passionately and a bit forcefully. She returned every bit of passion and force with that of her own. He deepened the kiss, parting his lips to take more of her in as he pulled her closer with his right hand that was full of flowers and supporting her in the middle of the back. Angelina met his devouring mouth with her own, even taking a nibble of the corner of Fred's lip. A primal growl slipped from the back of Fred's throat. Everything around them had disappeared. It was only him and Angelina. They were all that mattered. There was a roaring in Fred's ears but he could not hear the sounds around him. All he heard was the beating of his heart for the love of his life.

"Ahem!"

Neither one of them moved.

"Ahem!" This one came a little louder and more annoyed. Unwillingly, Angelina broke the kiss, but she let her face linger. Fred opened his eyes and smiled down at her, his forehead still touching hers.

"Alright you two. Why don't you get a room?" Alicia shouted. There was a thump at Angelina's feet and they jumped apart. Angelina turned, almost tripping over her trunk, blushing toward her friend. Fred was the color of a tomato on fire. He, too, turned to look at Alicia.

"Well it's good to see you Alicia. Katie." Fred said nodding at each of the girls as his cheeks cooled. "Congratulations on the end of another year."

"Nice to see you too Fred," Katie said with a smile as she dropped Angelina's knapsack at her feet. "That's a nice jacket you got there too. Is it new?"

Fred grinned. "Why yes it is. The finest quality Dragon hide." Fred said popping his collar.

"Nice!" Katie responded, hitching her slipping knapsack back up on her shoulder

"Your girlfriend ditched us with her things when she came to attack you like the Giant Squid." Alicia interjected with a smile.

Angelina gave her friend a slight glare, the flush in her cheeks evaporating away. "Sorry about that guys," Angelina said picking up her knapsack and placing it on her trunk. "But you know, I was…."

"Excited to see Fred. We know." Alicia replied, chuckling. She turned to Katie. "How many times is it now? 30, 40, 50 thousand?" The three girls laughed, even Angelina. Fred stood there kind of awkwardly, not sure what the joke was about.

"Thank you for grabbing my things. I appreciate it girls."

"How were your NEWTs Alicia? Do you think you earned enough to get a good job?" Fred asked sincerely.

"Yeah, I think I did alright. Though maybe not as good as your girlfriend. If I had worked as hard as her, my brain would have melted. She almost put Hermione Granger to shame with all her studying." Alicia replied with a chuckle. She had remembered going up to the hospital wing one day sure that her mind had been wiped clean.

"That's my Angelina." Fred said taking her hand and giving it a squeeze. She looked over at him and smiled back. "She just doesn't know when to stop. Sorry I wasn't there to drag her off into a dark corner." He winked at Angelina. She blushed.

Alicia laughed. "Yeah well, what can we do? How's the shop going?"

"Yeah, how is business?" Katie asked.

"It's booming," Fred said proudly. "I hope both of you will be stopping in soon to check it out. Don't forget to stock up before you go back to school Katie! You don't want to end up like these two study crazed ladies. You've got to keep the fun alive!"

Katie smiled at him. "Next time my mum takes me to Diagon Alley I'll be there with my pocket money." She affirmed tugging her bag back up on her shoulder again as she heard someone call her name. "Speaking of mum, there she is. I've got to go."

She turned to Alicia, said goodbye and gave her a hug. She then reached over Angelina's trunk and hugged her. She gave Fred a quick hug too and then took off, dragging her trunk behind her toward the exit of Platform 9 and ¾ for King's Cross. She waved one last time as she rushed off, her three friends waving and shouting goodbye. "See you both soon!"

"I should go find my parents too." Alicia said, moving to give Angelina a hug. Fred let Angelina's hand go, stepped a little aside and let the girls have their moment. Angelina stepped around her trunk and embraced her best friend.

"Thank you for everything Alicia. You are an amazing best friend." Angelina said over Alicia's shoulder as they hugged.

"You are too Angelina. Enjoy your time relaxing before you go interview for the Harpies. Don't work too hard practicing. Remember to have fun sometimes." Alicia replied squeezing her friend a little harder before they broke apart. "Also, don't forget to send me an owl if you need someone to practice with. I'll goal for you."

"You got it." Angelina said grinning. "Send me an owl after your interview with the ministry. I want to know how you did and we can plan a celebration with Katie over your amazing new job."

"I will."

"Good luck on your interview Alicia." Fred said reaching out to hug her.

"Thanks Fred," she said returning his hug. "You take care of her and make sure she takes care of herself, okay?"

"Of course." Fred replied as they broke apart.

Alicia picked up her trunk and headed after Katie toward the pass through to King's Cross. She waved and yelled goodbye to her friends. Fred and Angelina waved back.

When Alicia was lost in the crowd, Angelina turned to face Fred again. She smiled at him. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," Fred said smiling at her somewhat googly eyed. Suddenly he remembered the flowers in his left hand. He brought them up and held them out in front of her. Angelina's face lit up. Fred smiled wider.

"They are beautiful Fred," she said taking the flowers from him. She lifted the bright pink roses to her nose and breathed in deep. "They smell lovely."

"I'm proud of you Angelina." He said stepping forward and taking her hand. "I know how much time and energy you put into studying for your NEWTs. I know how hard you worked this year. You are an amazing woman." Angelina blushed gently and looked down at the roses. Fred lightly placed a finger under her chin, and lifted it up. He leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. Angelina's eyes fluttered shut and her body sighed again.

She stepped closer and kissed him back. It felt so good to be near him again. And oh so good to be kissing him again. She parted her lips slightly and kissed harder. Fred pushed back opening his mouth wider to taste more of her.

"Ahem, ahem," came another female voice. Angelina's temper rose as she broke away, leaving Fred standing there awkwardly, still holding her hand.

"What the bloody hell…." She began yelling until she realized who it was. She cringed a little from embarrassment as swearing at her parents. She stepped forward and hugged both her parents. "Hi mom, hi dad. Sorry about that."

Fred looked at the two new comers and gulped. The middle aged women had her arms across her chest and an annoyed glared just like Angelina could get when she wasn't pleased. The man's face seemed kind but his expression was unreadable at the moment. These were Angelina's parents. He had yet to meet Angelina's parents in person and if this was his first impression - snogging their daughter on a platform full of people- it was bound to be a bad one. He stood up straight and composed himself, determined to turn their impression around.

"Mom, dad this is Fred Weasley. My boyfriend," Angelina introduced, slipping her hand back into Fred's and squeezing it harder than she had been before. "Fred, these are my parents, Mildred and Jasper."

"It's nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. Angelina has told me a lot about you," he said, sticking out his hand and shaking Angelina's father's hand. He then turned to her mother and offered his hand to her. She slowly uncrossed her arms and shook his hand. "You have an amazing daughter, Mrs. Johnson."

"Yes, I know." Mrs. Johnson replied dropping her hand to her side. She continued to look Fred over with her icy glare.

Fred swallowed again. This was not going to be easy. He could tell Mrs. Johnson already didn't like him very much and he seemed to be digging himself an even bigger hole.

The four stood in silence for a moment. Mrs. Johnson glaring at Fred, Mr. Johnson also sizing him up, Fred trying to keep his knees from wobbling and Angelina embarrassed that her parents had caught her snogging. Finally, Angelina got over her embarrassment.

"Mom, dad, you remember how I told you that Fred and his brother George have a joke shop in Diagon Alley?" Angelina began. She was bound and determined that her parents like Fred. She had, of course, told them about him. She had informed both of them that they were in fact, boyfriend and girlfriend, earlier in the year. But she could tell that her mother had reserves about him due to all the prank and joke stories Angelina had shared with her, including about the day he and George had left Hogwarts. "Apparently the shop is doing really well. Fred says they are really bringing in the galleons."

"Really?" Mr. Johnson asked, interested. His face softened and Fred breathed little easier.

"Yes sir. George and I are even thinking about expanding our flat above the shop to include a workshop where we can continue producing more stock." Fred said, proudly. "We are even interviewing next week for some part time help as we are so busy."

Angelina beamed at him. "That's so great Fred." While she hadn't been happy that he had left, she had since become really proud of him from all he had shared with her in their letters. Many of the products used a great deal of tricky and complex magic. He may not have finished his NEWTs but he was a very accomplished wizard. Fred smiled back at her.

"It does sound as if you are doing well for yourself." Mr. Johnson said with a genuine smile. He could tell how much his daughter cared about this young man by the pleading look in her eyes. And being her father, he wanted her to be happy but also taken care of. "What is your most popular item?"

"Right now sir, it is our Skiving Snackbox line. They were a big hit while we were at school and we have received a ton of owl orders from students at Hogwarts for them in the last few months." Fred replied, smiling at her father. "Everyone's favorite is the Nose- Bleed Nougat."

"Nose-Bleed Nougat you say?" Mr. Johnson said. He had been about to ask more but his wife interrupted him.

"Not a very responsible line of work, running a joke shop is it? Especially in these dark times." Mrs. Johnson cut in.

Fred cleared his throat. He knew Mrs. Johnson was going to be the hard nut to crack. "George and I are also working with a few ideas around Dark Detecting and protection items. Most are still in the test phase but we are confident they will be good to go in a couple weeks." He replied looking directly at Mrs. Johnson. "I actually got the idea from your daughter for the Shield hat. Back when we were both still in school, she got so mad at me once for interrupting her studying that she started throwing her books at me. I quickly bewitched my hat with the shield charm and the books just bounced back. That was until she began throwing them a bit lower." Fred chuckled slightly. Angelina looked over at him and scowled. That was not going to impress her mother.

"Hmm.. Did you disrupt the studying of others a lot?" Mrs. Johnson asked, icily staring back at Fred. He knew she was talking about interrupting Angelina's studying in specific.

Fred held his head high but the laughter and smile were gone. "On occasion I did interrupt your daughter's studying but it was for her own good. Your daughter was so worried and stressed about doing well on exams that she forgot to relax. Her stress level has been through the roof this year. She even ended up in the hospital wing once earlier in the year because she was having a panic attack." Angelina kicked him in the ankle. She had not told her parents about that. But Fred continued, squeezing her hand tighter. "She has been so intent on making you both proud of her for her grades that she sometimes forgot to think about herself." He replied meeting Angelina's mom eye for eye. Mrs. Johnson's face faltered for a moment.

"Is that true Angelina?" Mr. Johnson asked, his burrow furrowed in concern. "Were you in the hospital wing?" Angelina slowly nodded.

The glare from Mrs. Johnson's face vanished and concern replaced it. "How come you didn't tell us?" she asked her daughter.

Angelina looked down toward her feet. "I didn't want to disappoint you," she murmured.

"Angelina, you could never disappoint us. We are proud of you," Mrs. Johnson said reaching out to touch her daughter's shoulder.

"You mother is right. We are proud of you." Mr. Johnson said touching his wife's shoulder, his eyes full of concern as he looked at his daughter.

Fred turned to look at Angelina. "I'm proud of you too. I've been proud of you for years Angelina," he said, his voice gentle and caring. It was full of love. Angelina peered up in Fred's direction. "You have worked so hard to be successful, not just for your parents but for yourself too. You have wanted to get good grades and you went for it. You wanted to be good at quidditch and you are an amazing chaser. You wanted to be captain and you did. You still managed to scrap a win for Gryffindor even with the chaos that was the team this year. You want to play for the Harpies and I know that you will make the team and do amazing at it." Angelina looked into Fred's brown eyes and a smile grew on her lips. His belief in her always bolstered her courage. Fred smiled and continued, forgetting that Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were standing there with them. He only had eyes for Angelina. "You are an amazing witch and women. You are amazingly talented at Transfiguration and Charms. You are brilliant and a kick ass chaser." Angelina blushed lightly. Fred stepped closer. "You can do whatever you set your mind to. I've always known that you could. And I will be there to support you, cheer for you, care for you. Love you." The last two words were whispered, meant only for Angelina's ears. Angelina's blush darkened.

Mrs. Johnson watched the interaction between her daughter and Fred. She listened carefully to the words he said. They were full of admiration and love. Her face softened. This boy, man, cared a great deal for her daughter. Loved her even. She could tell that in his words and his voice. She looked to her daughter. Angelina's eyes were dreamy and locked with Fred's. She had been so downtrodden a few minutes ago at the thought that she had disappointed her and Jasper. But now her face was bright, radiant even, flushed with love herself for the red haired man. Her daughtered cared a great deal about this man. Loved him as he did her. She nodded to herself and then spoke.

"He's right Angelina. You are an amazing witch and a very good quiddtich player. You will do anything you set your mind to, including joining the Harpies." Mrs. Johnson began. Angelina and Fred looked over at her, flushed. Both had forgotten she and Mr. Johnson were there for a moment. Mrs. Johnson turned to Fred, "Would you like to come to dinner at our house on Sunday?"

A shocked smile broke out across Angelina's face. Fred smiled at Mrs. Johnson. "I would love to," he replied squeezing Angelina's hand. "Thank you for inviting me, Mrs. Johnson."

Mrs. Johnson smiled. "I look forward to learning more about you and that shop of yours on Sunday," she said reaching out her hand to shake Fred's again. He dropped Angelina's hand and shook her mom's. "Why don't we take your trunk and those very pretty flowers and let you two say your goodbyes?" She said to her daughter.

Mr. Johnson smiled and reached for Angelina's trunk. "We'll meet you over by the entryway when you are ready Angelina." He said taking his wives hand.

"We will see you at 5 on Sunday, Fred," Mrs. Johnson said, taking the bouquet of flowers from her daughter. With that, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson turned and headed for the Platform 9 ¾ passageway.

Angelina turned and moved closer to Fred, putting her hands on his chest. "They like you," she said excitedly.

"How could they not?" Fred replied, grinning. Angelina hit him on the chest but smiled with him. He looked into her eyes for a minute and then leaned in, taking her lips with his. Angelina rose up on her tip toes, pushing into the kiss. She slid her arms from his chest up around his neck. She slipped one hand into the red hair at the knap of his neck as she gently bit his bottom lip. He groaned quietly, opening his mouth to take possession of hers. As she sighed into his body and his heart soared, the kiss was interrupted yet again by a "Ahem."

"Oh Bloody hell!" Fred swore breaking the kiss but not letting go of Angelina. She sighed sadly and dropped her head to Fred's shoulder. She breathed in his scent before looking up.

Fred turned on the voice and saw his twin. He glared at George with fire in his eyes.

"Sorry Bro, but mum sent me to find you. She says she wants you to come say hello to Ron and Ginny." He said, smiling. "Hello, Angelina."

"Hello, George," Angelina said breaking apart from the comfort of Fred's body. She too was getting really annoyed at the interruptions in their reunion.

"You are looking well." George said to Angelina as he stepped over to give her a quick hug. George could still feel Fred shooting him daggers. He hadn't wanted to interrupt their reunion. He knew full well how much Fred had missed his beloved. But sometimes there was just no arguing with your mum.

"You too George. I'm glad the shop is doing well." She replied returning his hug. She really did like George and it was good to see him, but he wasn't Fred and therefore not who she wanted to see right now.

"Aye it is. Be sure and stop by soon." He invited. Just then he saw an excuse walk past by the name of Lee Jordan. "Well, I will leave you now, as my brother is literally trying to kill me with his eyes." George turned to Fred. "Don't be too long or mum will come looking for you herself. Oi Lee!" George said with a wave at his friend. He rushed off to catch up with Lee Jordan, leaving Fred and Angelina mostly alone again.

The couple took hands again and looked at each other. "I want to kiss you again but I'm afraid we will just get interrupted again. I've missed you so much Angelina." Fred said stepping closer to her. He slipped his empty hand up to her cheek. Angelina nestled her cheek into his palm.

She stepped closer, leaving no space between them. "I've missed you too. Kiss me again." She whispered, her voice a little hoarse. Fred smiled as he slid his hand from her cheek to the back of her neck. Then he gently placed his mouth upon hers. Her body fell into his with a sigh. He let her hand go and placed his hand instead on the small of her back to support her. She kissed him deeper, encouraging him to part his lips and devour her like he had been before George had interrupted. Fred did not need the encouragement, opening his mouth to take hers. Her heart began beating hard in her chest. A rapid thump, thump the longer he kissed her.

"Fred Weasley, what are you doing?" came the voice of Mrs. Weasley. The couple broke apart, both of their rapidly beating hearts still beating fast, each one with a slight ache at being parted again.

"Ummm… I was greeting Angelina, my girlfriend." Fred replied a blushing coming over his cheeks. He turned a lovely shade of Weasley red.

"I can see that." Mrs. Weasley said giving him the famous Molly Weasley I-am- disappointed-in-you look. "Well Ginny, Ron and Harry should be meeting us any minute and I want you to be there when they do. So come on." She turned and gave Angelina a smile. "It's nice to see you again dear. I hope your year went well."

"It did go well," Angelina replied with a smile. "Now just to await the NEWT results."

"I'm sure they will be along in no time," Mrs. Weasley replied, then turned to Fred. "Come along now, Fred."

Fred looked at her directly. "I'll be right there mum. I want to say goodbye to Angelina first." He said firmly. Mrs. Weasley looked at him warily, knowing that he might very well go back to what he was doing before she interrupted. "I will be there in a minute. I just want to ask her something." He said knowing that even though he was a grown man with a business and place of his own, didn't mean that his mum wouldn't drag him by the ear back to where the rest of the family was waiting and embarrass him in front of all the people on the platform.

Mrs. Weasley eyed him for a couple seconds. "Oh alright. But be quick about it." She said and rushed off toward Mr. Weasley and the rest.

Fred turned to Angelina. His eyes were sad. "I have to go. If I don't, she will come back over here and make me." He said, with a sigh. He didn't want to leave her. He hadn't seen her in so long and they hadn't had enough time for a proper reunion. His heart was pulling in his chest, aching at the thought of being parted from her so soon.

Angelina's face fell with Fred's words. Her heart ached with the thought of having to say goodbye to him so soon. A lump caught in her throat and she felt like she wanted to cry at the thought. "I don't want you to," she murmured. Fred's heart lurched. He grabbed her up into his arms.

"I'm sorry Angelina," he whispered into her hair as he held her tightly to him. Angelina wrapped her arms up his back, burying her face in his shoulder. They stood together for a moment before Fred had an idea.

He broke them apart enough so that he could look into Angelina's face. His hands slid down her shoulders to grasp her hands. "Come visit the shop tomorrow. I'll take you out for lunch or dinner or both. I can show you the shop and we can spend some more time together." He said, a look of almost agony on his face. He needed more time with her. He need her. He had known it before but having been apart for as long as they had and then seeing her again, it had really cemented it for him. They had been apart before for long periods of time but this time had been different. This time there had been so much more between them. So much more to miss. All he knew was that he needed to be near her.

Angelina almost smiled. "I don't know Fred, my parents might except me to be at home with them, catching up and things," she responded. She was sure her parents would expect her to be at home with them after having been away at school all year.

Fred brought her hands up between them. "Please Angelina," he begged. "I need to see you."

Angelina faltered. The desperation in his voice, the agony on his face and the wisp of hope in his eyes made her shake her head yes. She would spend Sunday with her parents, catching up. She was a grown woman, of legal age, who could take care of herself. She would tell them that she was going, not ask their permission. She needed her red-headed boyfriend. She needed to be with him. "Okay Fred, I will be there. I would love nothing more than to visit you at your shop tomorrow," she replied a smile spreading across her lips. Fred stood shocked for only a moment before he took her lips with his in a deep kiss that overflowed with the happiness in his heart. She held tightly to his hands to steady herself.

"Fred Weasley!" rang out across the platform and the couple broke their kiss again.

"Grrr…" Angelina said as they broke apart. She looked Fred straight in the face. "Does the shop have a private room where we won't be interrupted?"

Fred smiled at her mischievously. "I will make one if we can't find one," he replied, his voice deep and full of passion. Angelina giggled and Fred kissed her again his passion spilling out into the kiss.

"Fred Weasley!" rang out again across the platform and Fred broke the kiss.

"Come as early as you want. Spend all day. I won't mind." He said taking a step away from her toward the sound of his mother. "I love you Angelina and I will be holding my breath until we see each other tomorrow." He lifted her hands to his lips and kissed the back of each one.

"I will be there as soon as I can." She replied, taking his lips one last time when he looked up at her words.

"Fred Weasley!" rang again, closer and louder this time than the last.

"I love you Angelina!" Fred shouted as he backed away from her and turned toward the sound of his mother's irritated voice. Don't turn back. Don't turn back. He thought inside his head as he walked away. If you turn back, you will never leave her.

"I love you too Fred Weasley!" Angelina shouted after him. This stopped Fred dead in his tracks and he turned around to look at her. She smiled at him, blew him a kiss, and waved. Fred smiled back, pretended to catch the kiss and waved back. He could feel his feet lifting, ready to rush back over to her.

Just then an arm grabbed Fred and turned him around. It was his brother George. "Come on Bro. You'll see her again soon." He said turning his twin in the direction of the family members standing together nearby.

"Tomorrow," Fred said with a besotted goofy grin on his face. "George, I'm gonna need most of tomorrow off. Sorry for the short notice. I'm going to be unavailable."

George laughed loudly. "No problem Bro. I can handle the shop for the day while you have a proper reunion with your girlfriend." George replied clapping his brother on the shoulder.

"Thanks George," Fred replied smiling a little goofy at his twin as they walked up next to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley just as Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Harry joined too.

Mrs. Weasley immediately pulled Harry into a hug as Ron eyed the twins in their matching lurid green, scaly jackets.

"What are they supposed to be?" Ron asked, motioning to their jackets.

"Finest dragon skin, little bro," Fred replied tweaking the collar of his jacket and adjusting the zipper. "Business is booming and we thought we would treat ourselves."

The End
