The streets aren't busy right now. It's after rush hour and most people are home or eating dinner at this time. Yuki walks around, trying to get used to the area. As Yuki walked around, he got a general idea of where everything was. Shops, a hospital, Genesis High School, and a dueling arena.

"Hey, did you hear about some of the missing students?" Yuki overhead a group of students speaking about the mysterious events that have been happening around the city.

"Missing Students?" Yuki thought to himself. Yuki walks over to the group "Hey what do you mean by students going missing?" Yuki said to the group.

"Yeah, some students in our high school have gone missing. Like zip, nothing, no trace. Whoever they did find was found in a coma." One of the guys said.

"I see. Anything else you know?" Yuki said.

"There are two rumors going around. The first is that there's a cult behind these events. The second is that the missing students are going to a haunted abandoned house." The same guy said.

"And where is this abandoned house at?" Yuki said, now interested in this mystery.

"Wait, you actually wanna go there? We're not even kidding about this missing people business." The guy said.

"Of course. I want to help as much as I can." Yuki said confidently.

"Wait, which school do you go to? I don't recognize you from around here." The guy said.

"Oh, I don't go to any schools now. I'm new to this city so I was just exploring and getting used to the area." Yuki said.

"Huh, alright. Well, here are the directions to the abandoned house. Rumor has it you have to go at night or else nothing will happen. Anyways if I don't see you, good luck in the afterlife!" The guy gave Yuki directions to the abandoned house and then the group of school kids left.

"Meh, whatever it is I'm sure it's nothing worst than what I had to deal with before." Yuki said, starting to go to the abandoned house.

On the way, he bumped into Merak, who was going to the cafe to help his parents after coming from the card shop ''Oh, sorry...'' Merak said.

"It's alright." Yuki said, now more wary of where he's supposed to look when walking.

''You look my age, but I've never seen you. Are you new here?'' Merak asked with Yuki responding in a nod ''Well, nice to meet you. I'm Merak Teseo.'' Merak says, extending his hand.

"Yuki. Yuki Komori" Yuki says, shaking Merak's hand.

''There's a cafe near here that my family runs, want a welcome snack? I'm still sorry for bumping into you.'' Merak says.

"I'm good, I was gonna check this abandoned house I heard of first" Yuki responds.

''The one where people are said to disappear?'' Merak questions, with Yuki responding in another nod ''That's a dangerous place, why do you want to go there?'' Merak asks.

"I just wanna see who or what's behind this missing students coma thing." Yuki says, basically filling Merak on the current situation in a sentence.

''Well, I think everyone's curious, but going there? Well, I hope you don't get hurt, I need to go help my parents at the cafe, so bye and good luck with looking at that!'' Merak says, walking away to go to the cafe.

"See ya." Yuki says heading to the abandoned house.

While Yuki and Merak were finishing their awkward encounter, someone named Yesir was standing a distance away from them, unintentionally, but overhearing many conversations about the missing students got Yesir interested. Putting curiosity over any other current interest, he started following Yuki.

While walking to the abandoned house, Yuki's pocket started to glow. When he checked what was or is in his pocket, he pulled out a copy of Knightmare Unicorn. Being confused but not outright spooked, he put it in his deck box and continued walking.

Then, a loud engine is heard in the distance coming towards Yuki. When Yuki turned around, he saw a man on a motorcycle. He rides past Yuki and then skids to a stop about 20 feet in front of him.

"You! You a duelist?" He asks, then he gets off his bike and walks over towards Yuki while still wearing his helmet. Yuki replies in yet another nod "Duel me." He says.

"I did just wanted to find a place rest a little but hey, I never back down from a duel." Yuki says, activating his duel disk "Let's duel!"

On the biker's right arm is a duel disk that resembles a duel disk very reminiscent of the duel disks seen in Paradise City, the only difference being with a snake wrapping around it, he activates it a few seconds after hearing Yuki's acceptance to duel.

The duel between Yuki and the biker was very one-sided, even with his new card, Yuki didn't stand a chance against the biker's Infinitracks. The biker then deactivates his duel disk "You're not one them it would seem." He says, turning around and walking back towards his bike.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Yuki asks.

"Doesn't matter to you, you're just another peasant in the streets." The biker says cold-heartedly.

"What do you mean by peasant? I'm just a duelist who just has fun, what's wrong with that?" Yuki questions.

The biker gets on his bike "Maybe one day you'll learn that there is more going on in this city than you realize. Duels are more than just something 'fun', as you say." The biker then revs up his engine "Next time we do meet though, don't think I'll go easy on you like I did today."

"I won't either." Yuki replies hoping to dissuade the biker.

"That was easy?" He laughs and rides off, leaving a cloud of smoke behind him

Yuki yawns and stretches "I should find a hotel or somewhere to stay for a while." He says, now hoping to walk to the abandoned house without interruption.
