"So no more school?" Phil asked one orning in late march while his family sat around the table eating breakfast.

"As of right now, no." Betty answered as Howard began to clear away the dishes.

Phil and Lil jumped up from their seats and ran and parked themselves in front of the tv.

"This is going to be great." Phil mused.

One Week later

"This isn't so great anymore." Lil sighed as she slumped against the couch.

"Yeah, even I can only watch so much tv." Phil agreed."I wonder what everybody else is doing to not be so bored."

"Let's call them and see." Lil suggested grabbing her pink tablet off the coffee table and handing Phil his blue one. They hadn't seen their friends since school was shut down and eagerly waited for them to answer. Lil called the girls while Phil called the guys.

"Hey guys." Phil greeted when Tommy, Chuckie, Zack, Kai, and Min Jun appeared on the screen.

Phil was met with various tones of greetings.

"What are you guys doing for fun?" Phil asked.

"Playing with Dil." Tommy answered.

"Being annoyed by my cousin and sister and dogs." MIn Jun grumbled."We've been here all week cuz my daddy got the virus."

"If Hana bugs you to much just tell her to go away." Kai said in response to Min Jun.

"I'm making sure everything is clean. No scary virus is gonna infect me." Chuckie declared as he wiped his screen with a wet wipe.

"I'm learning all of the things that I'll have to miss since we don't have school." Zack told him.

"Only you would want to go back to school." Kai said.

"Why is Min Jun watching your dog anyways?" Phil asked Kai.

"Cuz we took a trip to the Philippines for spring break and now we can't leave." Kai explained.

Over on the other side of the living room Lil sat talking to the girls.

"Guys you gotta give me ideas. I'm going crazy being stuck with only Phil." Lil cried.

"At least you're not stuck with Chuckie. Everytime we play with a toy we gotta sanitize it and then when we're done we gotta do it again and go wash our hands." Kimi told her.

"We can't even leave the house without a special pass." Kya added."Things aren't so good here. I actually miss school. Also it's time for bed so I'll talk to you guys later."

Lil and Kimi talked for awhile longer until it was time for dinner.

Five months later

"So are you guys doing regular school or school on the computer?" Tommy asked via his tablet.

"Me and Lil are doing regular school." Phil answered.

"Yeah. Daddy doesn't want us looking at a screen for to long." Lil added.

"I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow then." Tommy said ending the call.

The next day Tommy walked into his kindergarten class and saw most of his friends there. There was one friend he didn't see, which happened to be his best friend. He had to admit he wasn't that surprised that Chuckie and Kimi had been kept home to continue virtual learning. They tuned into the class via a laptop.

"This is so confusing." Min Jun complained as he walked to the pick up line with Phil after school.

"Yeah. I know." Phil agreed."We go for two days and then we're off for a day and then back again."

"Yeah. We should all just do the laptop thing like Chuckie and Kimi do." Lil added.

"My parents got sential jobs whatever that means." Min Jun shrugged."That's why I gotta go to school."

"And I hate wearing these masks." Phil cried throwing his on the ground when Betty arrived to pick them up.

"I hope school gets better somehow." Min Jun said taking off his mask and sitting next to Phil.
