3 months later
"Ugh I can't concentrate." Phil groaned laying his head on the table and looking away from his tablet.
"You're almost done with today's work." Betty told him as she walked by to make sure her kids were doing there work.
"Can't we do school at the park with our friends?" Lil asked finishing her assignment and turning off her tablet.
"Sorry kids. Cases are going up, which is why everyone is in virtual school now." Howard said oever his shoulder as he did the dishes.
The twins groaned and Phil got back to work as Lil ran off to watch tv.
Phil was distracted from his work by an incoming call from Tommy. He answered right away, greatful to get out of doing his work for a minute.
"Hey Tommy. How's virtual learning going?" Phil asked with a groan.
"It would be better if Dil would quit bugging me. His work is easier then ours so he's always done before me and wants to play." Tommy explained.
"I can't get any work done here either and I don't even know why." Phil complained laying his head down on the table.
"I wish we could do school work somwhere else like the park. At least then we could hurry and finish and go play." Tommy said.
"I tried that earlier." Phil told him."My parents say we can't cuz the cases are going up."
"Well I'm almost done with my math. Hurry up so you can play against me, Chuckie, and Min Jun in the new racing game." Tommy said.
"Fine. At least I'll have something to look forward to when I'm done. I'll sign on when I'm done." Phil said ending the call so he could finish his work.
He didn't get very far when his mind kept wandering to the new game that the kids had all downloaded onto their tablets.
"I'll finish later. It's only a few problems anyways." Phil said to himself closing out of his assignment and signing onto the game.
"Aren't you sposed to be doing school work?" Ji Yeon asked Min Jun as she looked away from her cartoons and peaking over Min Jun's shoulder to see what he was doing.
"I'll do it later." Min Jun said shoving Ji Yeon away onto the floor.
"Then I'm going to tell Mun Hee that your playing games instead of your school work and then you'll get in trouble." Ji Yeon said standing up.
"You made me lose." Min Jun grumbled."And don't tell. I'm getting back to it."
Min Jun got back to his work but was interruped by a call.
"Hey, where did you go?" Phil asked."We just started another race."
"I'm not done with my school work yet and Ji Yeon is going to tell on me if I don't do it." Min Jun explained.
"I hate being the youngest, but now I'm glad I don't have a little sister." Phil said."Talk to you later."
At the end of the week progress reports were emailed to parents. Everyone did fine except for Phil.
"You guys gotta help me. I gotta finish twenty assignments by the end of next week or I'm going to fail." Phil complained.
"What were you doing while the rest of us did our work?" Chuckie asked.
Phil blushed before answering."Uh playing that new racing game. I even unlocked new tracks for us."
"Email us your assignments ans we'll see what we can do to help you after we finish our own work." Zack told him.
"I don't want to do more work on top of the work I already gotta do." Min Jun groaned.
"Phil's going to do all the work himself. We'll just be there in case he needs help. We all know he's not the smartest." Lil said.
"I am to smart." Phil shot back.
"Are not." Lil argued.
"Are too." Phil cried.
One by one all of their friends shut off their tablets leaving the twins to argue.
"Hey. You made our friends leave." Lil cried.
"You're the one who started a argument." Phil pointed out.
"Am not." Lil yelled.
"Are too." Phil cried.
"We did it again." Lil sighed.
"Yeah well I still say I'm not dumb. I just don't like school that much." Phil said.
"You like having us there though right?" Lil asked hopefully.
"Well yeah. You guys are the best part about school." Phil said."If I didn't have you guys I wouldn't want to go at all."
"I guess that's why we can't see our friends in person and can only see them on a screen. We don't want to lose anyone." Lil said.
"Yeah. I guess you're right." Phil agreed."So will you guys help me get used to this new way of school?"
"Of course." Lil promised."Don't forget to email everybody your assigments so we can all help you get caught up and keep you on track."
Lil headed up to bed while Phil sent everybody his list of assignments. The next morning Chuckie helped him with science. Zack helped him with math. Min Jun helped him with geography. Tommy helped him with English. Kimi helped him with history, all while Lil kept him focused.
A/N I know I said this was going to be three chapters but I've run out of ideas.
