"Now that we're on break and I'm not going to fail, what should we do?" Phil asked.

"We could watch the Reptar holiday special." Lil suggested.

"I'm tired of watching movies and tv." Phil said sitting down on the couch.

"Well then let's call our friends and see what they're doing?" Lil suggested.

The twins picked up there tablets and called their friends.

"What's up?" Tommy asked when he saw Phil's face on the screen.

"We're bored. What are you doing?" Phil asked.

"Being bored too. I'm sick of watching tv." Tommy told him.

"Why don't you guys try reading a book instead of watching tv." Zack suggested.

The others looked at him like he was crazy.

"I miss playing soccer." Min Jun chimed in."I didn't get to play this season."

"Well then since most of our parents are back to work now and there is no snow this year, let's sneak out to the park and play soccer." Phil suggested.

"I don't think we should." Chuckie interjected."What if we get sick or what if one of our parents finds us out of the house?"

"For once I agree with Chuckie." Min Jun said."As bored as I am, I don't know if I want to get sick. My mom is overworked enough."

"I think I'll stay home too. My auntie has a cold and I don't want to risk bringing anymore germs into our house." Zack added.

"Ok you guys can stay home and watch more movies and tv, but I'm going to the park." Tommy declared ending the video call and changing out of his pajamas.

Tommy arrived at the park and quickly found his friends, who were kicking a ball back and forth. He left Dil to entertain himself and walked over to Phil and Lil.

"I guess we're the only ones brave enough to leave the house." Tommy said as he approached Phil and Lil who stopped their game when they saw him.

"I'm here." Min Jun called as he drug Ji Yeon through the grass.

"We're here too." Kimi said coming over to stand next to Min Jun while Chuckie trailed behind her.

"I thought you guys were to acared to leave the house." Phil pointed out dropping the ball on the ground.

"We'll be ok as long we wear our masks." Min Jun said.

"Uh Chuckie how can you play in all that?" Lil asked noting the face mask, shield and gloves that Chuckie was wearing.

"I'll be fine as long as I wear all this stuff and do this." Chuckie said bending down and opening up a bottle of hand sanitizer and pouring it all over the soccer ball.

"Why are you doing that?" Phil asked."We play with our feet."

"You can't be to carful." Chuckie assured him putting the bottle back in his pocket and taking off his gloves and putting on a new pair.

"Let's play already." Min Jun cried impatiently.

Ji Yeon walked over to Dil, who was digging in the sand.

"How come your not wearing a mask?" She asked sitting down next to him.

"Cuz I'm not a sheep." Dil told her not looking up from his hole.

"What's that mean?" Ji Yeon asked sitting down in the sand.

"I don't really know. I heard it on the news when my daddy was watching it."All I know is a lot of people think wearing masks is dumb."

"It keeps people safe." Ji Yeon told him as she moved the sand around with her hand since she didn't have a shovel."You don't know if you got germs or not."

"Well I'm not wearing one. They're hard to breathe in and they hurt my ears." Dil insisted.

Ji Yeon didn't want to argue. She had made her point and if Dil wanted to risk getting sick then she wouldn't stop him. They watched their older siblings and friends play soccer not saying anything.

"Time out guys." Phil panted throwing his mask on the ground."I can't breathe in this thing."

"Me either." Tommy, Lil, and Kimi said removing there masks as well and throwing them on the ground.

"Chuckie aren't you going to take yours off too?" Kimi asked."You have bad breathing problems without the mask on."

"No way. I'll just watch you guys play from over here." Chuckie said sitting a ways away against a tree.

"What about you Min Jun?" Phil asked looking at his best friend.

"I uh." Min Jun started and jumped as a familiar voice shouted his name.

"What are you doing out here?" Jin asked sternly.

Min Jun slowly turned around and faced his father."We were bored and I didn't take off my mask." He said quietly looking down at his shoes.

"And you brought Ji Yeon out here as well?" Jin asked angrily as Ji Yeon walked up to him."Don't you know how dangerous that is?"

"I know, but she kept her mask on too, and she would of told on me if I didn't bring her." Min Jun explained.

He knew it was easier for his sister to get sick as a result of the anti rejection medicine she had to take.

"Get in the car, all of you." Jin ordered and pointed in the direction where his car was parked.

All of the kids were dropped off at their homes. Some of the parents hadn't even realized their children had left while others were upset but relieved to see their kids.

"Just because I have a paper to write doesn't give you the right to sneak out." Mun Hee said when Jin and the kids walked through the door.

"We didn't do anything wrong." Min Jun insisted shrugging off his coat and throwing it on the couch.

"You did do somthing wrong. You snuck out knowing you're not supposed to unless one of us is with you." Jin told him.

"I'm sorry." Min Jun apologized. He didn't understand what was so bad when did what he was supposed to do. His friends were the ones who broke the rules.

"You can come with me to the store tomorrow." Jin told him."Go wash your hands and we'll eat dinner soon."

School resumed after Thanksgiving. They began having class video calls instead of the kids doing work individually. They waited for everyone to log on, as they had to be online by a certian time. Ten minutes later and Tommy was still not online. His friends were confused as Tommy rarely missed school even when it did go virtual.

Once there online class was over Chuckie gave Tommy a call only to recieve no answer.

"Guys Tommy hasn't been in school for three days, and he won't answer when I call." Chuckie told his friends when their class had finished.

"Maybe he's sick." Lil suggested.

"I hope he's not." Chuckie said."I knew going outside was a bad idea."

"I don't think he's sick." Min Jun assured him."My mommy would of told me if he wet to the hospital."

"That makes me feel a little better." Chuckie sighed.

The next day Tommy appeared on the screen with the rest of the class. As much as his friends wanted to know why he had missed school, they waited until afterward in case Tommy didn't want the whole class knowing.

"So why did you miss three days of school?" Zack asked.

At this question Tommy began to cry handing his Ipad to Dil so he could explaine.

"Grandpa Lou died on Sunday. He got sick from the thing that's going around." Dil informed his friends with tears forming in his eyes. However unlike tommy he held it together enough to tell his friends what had happened."We couldn't go see him or anything. We had to say goodbye to him on a screen and we couldn't have a funeral either."

"I'm sorry guys." All of the kids said.

"I gotta go guys. My daddy said he needs to tell me something." Chuckie said ending the call at the same time as Kimi.

"I wonder what's going on?" Lil asked.

"I don't know, but I gotta go too. I'll talk to you guys later." Min Jun said ending the call.

A few hours later Kimi called all kids to inform them of the news she and Chuckie had recieved before dinner time.

"Our grandma Shirley is in the hospital." Kimi informed them.

"I hope she'll be ok." Zack said.

"Thanks. Me too." Kimi said with a small smile."She has the sickness."

"I can have my mommy give you updates if you want." Min Jun told her.

"Ok. Thanks guys. I'm going to go and keep Chuckie company." Kimi said ending the call.

"This could be bad." Phil said as the others were still on the video chat.

"Yeah. I'm glad I don't have to worry about my grandparents getting sick." Min Jun said.

"How come?" Phil asked.

"Yeah I thought this disease was all over the world." Tommy added.

"Other countires like Korea, where they live stayed closed longer then ours did so they don't have cases anymore, or if they do it's only a few." Min Jun explained.

"I just hope this all goes away soon." Zack said.

"Me too." Min Jun agreed along with the others.

Two weeks later

"My grandma is going to be ok." Chuckie announced as the kids all sat around having their weekend group chat.

"That's great Chuckie." Tommy said. He was still sad about his favorite grandparent dying, but was also happy that his best friend wouldn't have to deal with what he went through.
