The Inner Complex on the border of Marely (50 Miles of the Eldia's 2nd Capitol)
It started...with a dream. Of union...equality...and liberty. Beliefs in which were rare for the time. I didn't think such beliefs were entirely necessary to live a happy life. Everyone I knew was content...or happy, my sister was happy, my friends and their family's were happy. As long as there was food on the table and a roof over their heads they were content. Of course there will always be those who strive against the curve and wish for something they either briefly or never experienced. Whether it be love, power, peace...freedom. Once those special few taste it...there is little they won't do to obtain it. Our world was built upon the strong and wise survive...while the weak die and suffer. The unfortunate who were born into slavery and inequality...and the fortunate were born into royalty and comfort live their respective lives believing the chain of power was the only way to go through life. The fortunate control the masses, declare the wars and reek the benefits and the unfortunate who blindly follow, fight the wars and burden the consequences. The few who strive against the curve see beyond this chain and its issues and use them as a way to make change...to present the issues to others who never questioned otherwise. Those in power fear them...as they can't control them through typical means without negotiation or death. Luckily for them back then...there weren't any who strove away from the norm...because if there were...they were eaten by the beasts that roam this land...by the 8 houses of Titans...and the Royal Family of Eldia that remained in power. But all it took was a dream...of union...equality...liberty. Then the truth was presented...reality of the world was shown...betrayal...loss and eventually hatred. All of it...to one of those special few...who strove against the norm.
"Asier hurry up! we're going to be late for my sister's crowning!" I rustled under the blankets hoping it was a dream so I could go back to sleep. Once I felt the breeze of the wind hit my face and the slap of a hand on my head...it was enough to let me know it most likely wasn't.
"Ugh...Jeez do you knock...?" I rubbed my eyes and was greeted with a glare from my disturber. Short with wavy black hair but bright blue eyes. She glared and hit me in the head with her glove. Milana Royce next in line as Queen after her sister. Her sister was already given the Founding the other day so today was her crowing and it was a huge event in the kingdom. Some of the Houses would arrive with their respective inheritor as well as a big parade would be thrown. Celebration across the kingdom if you supported the royal blood.
"Are you dead? We have to go we're already running late Asier!"
"Ok ok I'm coming" I got up and picked my shirt up and put it on. She picked up a pair of shoes and placed them in front me. I put them on and pushed my hair back. We walked out my room into the kitchen where my older sister Minya was cleaning. We waved goodbye and began our way to the castle. As I opened the door the breeze hit me as the clouds partially covered the sun, luckily the castle wasn't to far. My parents more specifically my mother was good friends with the previous queen of Eldia Amity Royce. She was the people's voice. She was one of the few to actually treat the common folk like human beings. I have memories of my mom taking me to the castle to play with her daughters and that's how I met Milana and her sister now Queen Orelena.
"You should take better care of yourself. You need to look presentable" She was always about looking "right" and "presentable". I brushed it aside as just a waste of time. If someone wants to judge me how I look then they're someone I'm ok with not meeting.
"Like your hair, It looked better when it was short" I rubbed my blonde hair. Her and My sister wanted for me to cut my hair short again. I personally couldn't care for it much but they seemed for it.
"Fine. Next time when I get it cut you can come with. I need people to talk to nowadays anyways. Now with the military on high alert a lot of the soldiers I used to talk to are on expeditions". She looked down and sighed
"Yea it's the talk of the town. Everyone was worried when the holder of the Attack Titan went missing for a couple months. Everyone assumes it was Marley that attempted a kidnapping" The holder of the Attack Titan was a tall girl with brown messy hair. I had only ever seen her from afar when she came to visit Queen Amity 2 years ago. Orelena said the meeting was about who would inherit the Attack Titan after her since she had 8 years left...well now 6. I thought maybe she just left to go explore...you know to enjoy her last years before she meets her gruesome end.
"Has she said anything about it?" Milana shook her head.
"Nothing. She insists she left on her own accord" She looked around the area we were walking in. A lot of townsfolk going about their regular day and many preparing for the parade. Whenever she looked at her surroundings it's because she's worried, I'd be a bad friend if I didn't catch up on things like that.
"Well maybe she isn't telling a complete lie. Just not the whole truth" I nudged her.
"Come on keep your head up. The people can't see their princess worried" she scoffed at me. That let me know I had done my job.
"Please me... worried. What I should be worrying about is your choice of attire. You look homeless" She laughed. I pinched her l arm causing her to slap my hand away.
"Are you kidding me these are my best clothes" She grabbed my and began to run. She had a long black dress with her hair done in a bun with a bow on it. If anything I can admit she knew how to dress.
"Don't worry lucky for you you're friends with me. A person with actual taste for outfits. I can fix you up before the parade" We smiled at each other and ran to the castle. We made our way up the stairs where Orelena was getting ready in her room across from the top of the staircase.
"Hello Asier. She didn't cause trouble for you did she ?" I shook my head and smiled.
"No your majesty she didn't" I kneeled down and kissed her hand as a way of respect. Orelena rubbed my head and smiled.
"Please just refer to me as you always have. I may be queen but we're still only a year apart" I never let it settle in that she was queen at the young age of 18. She was very protective of me. Both her and my sister kept me out of the streets but it's easier to do that especially when you're royalty however even then I always appreciated her even if I didn't show it. Milana sat next to her and gazed while circling her.
"You look so pretty Orelena. Hopefully father can come with the parade with us. Did you ask him?" Orelena glance at her somberly. I never met the father or King Royce and I never asked where he was so I know very little about him. All I knew is that Milana had been desperate to see him again...and now that their mother was gone he was the only adult figure they had left.
"I sent an invitation. I've told the staff to keep an eye for him if he comes ok?"
Milana nodded. Orelena stood up and let her long black hair down the red dress glistened as the light bounce of of the jewels that hung from her neck. She was thin but her figure was refined. She turned her blue eyes on me.
"After the ceremony I need to talk to you about something. So meet me here before the parade starts okay?"
I nodded thinking it wasn't anything serious. One of the staff came up and signaled it was time. She took one last breathe before holding Milani's hand. They both looked at each other and smiled. While most sisters would be jealous of the other sitting on the throne these two only felt love for one another. They were bonded by love, responsibility and tragedy. Any ill feelings were destroyed long before this moment.
They began to walk down the stairs to the back of castle where Eldians across the land gathered for their new Queen to be crowned. I worked for the staff of the royal family so I stood behind them on the long balcony. I walked out and saw the inheritor of the Female Titan. As I stood moments before the ceremony took place the inheritor of the Armored titan Daniel Nagamoro dropped his handkerchief walking by me. I picked up and waved at him. Usually a staff member doing this would be seen as disrespectful but I had a few conversations with Daniel the times he visited Amity and seeing his handkerchief most likely helped.
"Thank you Asier" I gently poked at him to get his attention before he left.
"Do you know if any of more of the Houses will be arriving? The Ceremony starts soon" I could tell my question caught him off guard.
"Fraus just arrived as I got here. She should be coming in soon"
"Fraus?" I met very few of the inheritors and I only knew of the armors name.
"The Attack Inheritor. Their house is very...unstable at the moment especially with their recent conflicts with the Marleyans but seeing as their especially close with the royal family I'm not surprised she came"
I nodded and thanked him. I went back to my spot. The Warhammer, Beast, Armored and the Female stood conversing with each other. I tried not to look at them to often out of respect so I couldn't really get a view of their faces other than the armored. They put aside their conflicts for this moment and I could tell they were trying to keep themselves in check. Recently the House of the Warhammer had aggravated the House of the Beast. They may be under the rule of the royal blood but they very much governed themselves for the most part. they acted like there own kingdom. When they weren't killing Marleyans they were fighting each other. over power, territory and respect. Up until now the previous rulers didn't care much for it but Amity wished for Union against the rising threat of the Marleyans. In previous ceremonies the houses were required to arrive whether they wore disguises or not. Orelena was the first to leave it up to them. The few that did arrive had good relations with the royal family. The others...well out of secrecy or other means didn't arrive.
Fraus walked in with her hair straight and wore a suit. Her sense of style was always different from your typical girl attire. She then walked up to me.
"The ceremony hasn't happened yet correct?" I shook my head.
"Not yet Lady Fraus but it will shortly please stand with the rest of the Houses" She nodded and stood next to The Armored. Sheri one of the staff walked behind me and began speaking with another staff member named Rina
"I heard the female titan brought her back. We still don't know where she went" Mina nudged me
"Do you know anything Asier?. You're pretty close to the Queen." I shook my head. Rumors like these leave a black mark on you but I doubt Fraus cared since her house was one of the wealthiest. I believe she most likely went on a trip to get away from everything. it would also explain how the Female Titan found her as the two houses have always been close.
"No. But she's here now and that's all that matters" Sheri grabbed my hand as I kept looking forward
"But! Aren't you concerned!? She disappears then reappears out of nowhere as soon as the Marleyans become aggressive." I pushed her hand away.
"I am concerned...over the past century we've been able to have a decent relationship with them...only recently have they been aggressive...demanding back land and threatening war...it's like they don't know what power us Eldians possess."
Mina and Sheri look at each other. I can see they're uncomfortable to be so close to a possible enemy.
"But I doubt the Marleyans and Fraus are in talks...she wouldn't be enough of a power to change the tide of this old age conflict...but I am watching her for another reason. I'll bring this up with the queen ok?" They both sighed and nodded. The Marleyans in the past have tried to lure some of the 8 to their side but have failed. This kind of information you only get if you have a relationship with royalty, if this kind of thing got out the people would call for war. The houses stood in a line aside from the Queen and Milana.
The people began to clap and chant as Orelena walked forward. Wearing the crown she held her hand high as the army of the capital held their swords to the sky. The children wore white flowers on their hair to represent the purity of the Queen.
"LONG LIVE THE QUEEN OF ELIDA!" The onlookers chanted. The Queen put her hand down which signaled silence. The Thousands of Eldians silenced instantly.
"I PLEDGE MYSELF AS THE NEW QUEEN OF ELIDA...….MY MOTHER HANDED DOWN HER POWER AND KNOWLEGDE TO ME...ASWELL AS HER WISH FOR PEACE AND UNITY AMONGST US. PLEASE SEE ME AS HOPE AND NOT FEAR...AS A BEACON OF CHANGE AND NOT CORRUPTION. I WAS RAISED AROUND THOSE WHO WERENT HAS FORTUNATE AS ME...AND IT HURT TO SEE THEM SUFFER KNOWING WITH ALL THE POWER I HELD...I COULD NOT DO ANYTHING BUT WATCH!" She turned to me and smiled. I nodded and smiled.
"THIS FESTIVAL WILL SIGNIFY A NEW START FOT THIS KINGDOM. I WISH TO UNITE ALL THE HOUSES OF TITANS SO WE CAN WORK TOGETHER AS INTENDED...SO PLEASE I HOPE YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN ME" Clapping ensued.
"AS QUEEN YOU'RE PROBLEMS ARE MINE AND OURS! WE ARE ALL NEEDED IF WE INTEND TO CREATE PEACE IN THIS DAY AND AGE. I WILL FINISH THE PEACEFUL VISION MY MOTHER STARTED...BUT I WILL NEED THE HELP OF ALL YOU TO SEE TO THAT HER VISION COMES TRUE!" I looked at the 5 inheritors who looked upon the people below. Not fighting but united by the queen. For as long as I can remember Amity was a gentle and caring soul...one who didn't have the stomach for conflict and only sought peace.
"SO PLEASE ENJOY THE FESTIVAL!" The people began to walk around the area enjoying food and activities. Representatives from all the houses were in to speak to Orelena. Daniel stood by me while the Houses sat down and converse amongst each other with the queen. It was a tradition to speak with the queen and to keep all personal grudges outside the capitol. So for once every crowning they sat down and talked...like human begins and not as titans.
"Not a sight you see huh?" Daniel stood next to me looking at them.
"Yea for once they're acting like humans" he laughed
"Hey! I have no grudges with them...I'd rather speak then fight. I already have enough to worry about trying to find my next inheritor.." I had forgotten about that. He had around 1 and a half left before he'd die from the curse Ymir. It's rule that doesn't allow a titan wielder to surpass 12 years with their power. 2 of the inheritors left leaving the attack and dame or what some call the Female titan with the queen.
"You going with them to the festival?" Daniel shook his head.
"Not a fan of big crowds" For someone as tall and broad as him you'd think he's scared of nothing. He rubbed his black hair and grabbed his forehead
"It's gonna be a bitch to get home especially with the titans roaming around"
"There's more?" he nodded.
"Before Amity...left she increased the titan count to keep out the Marleyans incase they were to attack...they're not dangerous but they do like to grab carriages and it makes it a hassle to get home" We laughed and drank the wine that was given out. 'It was times like this that gave me hope that us Eldians could put aside our differences and unite...'. I heard commotion coming from the table. Sheri picked up a cup that had spill on the Female Titan.
"I'm so sorry my Lady" She bowed her head. Fraus grabbed her shoulder.
"That was deliberate don't lie to me!" Daniel sighed. There she goes again blindly speaking. I was about to go help but Orelena had grabbed Fraus's arm to help her up from the seat.
"Lady Fraus it was but an accident please listen" The female inheritor bowed apologetically
"I'm so sorry, please Fraus let's...Fraus?" I stopped and looked at Fraus. She yanked her arm away from Orelena...who looked like she just saw hell in itself. Daniel looked at the direction of them. His eyes piercing towards them. His hands were shaking as he kept his eyes on her.
"Shit!" he whispered. I was confused what had happened. I glanced at Fraus...who glared at me. Daniel noticed her eyes were on me and pushed me back.
"Why is she looking at-..." Daniel ran to Fraus. I looked at them...confused and scared...why did she look at me like that?
"FRAUS DON'T DO IT! WAIT!" She bite her hand as the Female inheritor tackled the Queen away from the blast area. I saw a bolt of lightning like god striking down on her.
"ASIER GET EVERYONE OUT!" Daniel bit his thumb as another bolt smashed the balcony causing it to rumble.
"MILANA! HERE GET EVERYONE IN THE CASTLE!" Daniel had tackled Fraus over the balcony into the crowds of people. As I was picking up Sheri she grabbed my armed and screamed. The Attack titan looked at me...with anger she punched the wall next to me sending debris. The Armored punched the Attack sending it away from the balcony. Milana had gotten Orelena and the rest of the staff in the castle. The balcony began to collapse. Milana held out her hand as Orellana began to bit her hand as she looked at me.
I shook my head and she put her hand down...her eyes still filled with fear.
"GO GO!" I pushed Sheri to Milana as I fell down.
"ASIER!" Sheri was pulled up and she tried to reach me. I fell into a food stand that thankfully broke my fall. I gasped for air, my sides were hurting like hell. I looked left as a huge foot smashed the ground next to me. I looked up and saw him...the Armored Titan smoke emitting from it mouth. It's roar echoed throughout the alleys of screaming children and mothers. The Armored charged towards a smoke filled area which the Attack titan emerged from roaring. The Attack ducked the armor's punch, she then swept her leg which caused the armor to trip. She then slammed the armored down sending smoke toward me I got up and began running down the street away from the capitol. I left everything up to Orellana. I ran through destroyed houses trying to avoid debris. I looked around and saw mothers...children and fathers fleeing. Some dead...some stuck under rocks and scattered pieces of houses. The Attack crashed down crushing two houses in front of me. I slide trying to stop my running. It looked at me...if there ever a devil...that day...I had seen it and it had seen me. She tried to grab me but the Armored punched her in the jaw sending pieces of her teeth flying smashing houses. I took this opportunity to leave and find my house.
'I have to get somewhere safe...I can regroup with her when everything settles down...but still...why did she...look at me like that?
I headed to my house where my sister was. I ran through the door hoping she was still there...still alive.
"Minya!" The house was empty.
"The girl that lives here was escorted by soldiers" I turned to see an old man sitting outside amongst the chaos. He wore raggedy clothes and had bags under his eyes.
"I over heard they were going to the capitol...she was with a guy...thats all I can tell you" Roaring echoed through the air as i looked at the old man
"Why are you still here! Hide before you get killed!" He looked at me emotionless.
"Why and try to run from the inevitable...it was only a matter of time before us Eldians began to descend in power...the Queen's speech was nice...but it was nothing but a hopeful premise" Looking back at it now...it was obvious he had nothing to live or fight for. He saw the kingdom for what it was becoming...but I hadn't... so his words feel on deaf ears.
"His words were to linger in your mind and set in stone in which what would become your reason to fight"
'Maybe...'
I gave him the food that was on the table as gratitude. I tried to avoid the commotion as a group of people were being rounded up on a carriage. I recognized one of the soldiers I used to talk to when they weren't on duty.
"RAYMOND!" He turned and grabbed my arm.
"Kid you ok?" I nodded.
"I have to get to Orellana" He shook his head while helping up a child into the carriage.
"Her and most of the staff were taken to the second capital, I have orders to escort the people out of here" I could hear the armored titan roar getting closer. I looked behind myself as the armored titan came crashing through the houses. Raymond covered me with his shield until it stopped Raymond grabbed me and got in the carriage.
"GO!" The carriage began to move away from the area as the armored titan fought the attack titan
"Daniel! We can't leave him" Raymond grabbed my shoulder.
"There's a reason why no one messes with him including the colossal...look...". He pointed at him as he grabbed her arm threw her against the ground. She attempted to kick him but he moved his head left and grabbed her leg and swung her toward the castle sending pieces of it scattering.
"I think he can handle himself...we'll come back until then we're heading to The village of Cores"
"Isn't that on the border with Marley" A man asked. Raymond nodded.
"Its the closest village" He looked at me
"We were lucky to be arriving anyway...what the hell happened kid?" I sat there shaking. I couldn't answer his question. Why did Fraus look at me like that, How did Daniel know she'd transform. Why was she after me?.
Raymond snapped his finger to get my attention. He kneeled down in front of me. I looked around and saw the families huddled together crying...scared. Many with blood covering them. A child next to me didn't move or cry...he only starred forward eyes opened wide.
"What. Happened." I shook my head
"I don't know...she looked at me...then she-"
"Who looked at you?"
"Fraus...she...looked at me then she...attacked" He rubbed his head and sighed.
"We should be there by dawn, we'll discuss it then." He tended to the other families. A solider handed me bread, I turned to the child next to me who I could tell was in shock. She was about the age of 12 maybe 13, dressed like a farmer but not as such she's in poverty. She ate her bread wide eyed not blinking once. After she ate it she rubbed her stomach in hunger.
I put my bread in her hands. She looked at me and all I could do then was smile...trying to give her some comfort.
"Eat up...You're growing...need all the food you can get" The girl looked at the bread.
"Shouldn't you eat too?" I looked down still in my thoughts. Seeing all those crushed bodies and torn buildings...how can I?
"I already did before...this happened" She ate quietly next to me while all the soldiers tended to the wounded. The lack of doctor didn't help either. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes. Orelena...Milana...Minya...everyone...are they OK? Distant roaring kept ringing in my ears and the ground began to rumble as if the earth was shivering. Screaming, Roaring and the ground cracking were all I heard. I woke up in darkness. The smell of the desert wind and the sound of the horses calmed me down. Everyone in the carriage was sleeping or looking outside...I noticed there were fewer than before. The girl was asleep her head rested on my arm. I pulled a sheet meant for the carriage that had been ripped to cover her.
'I guess she lost her folks back there...no ones come to claim her' Raymond noticed I was up and came to me.
"How're you holding up" He sat next to me.
"If im being honest I have a lot of questions that keep repeating in my head...I'm surprised I was able to sleep" He looked at the girl next to me sleeping.
"You know her?" I shook my head.
"Someone was with her. An older sister I think...left her there so she could tend to her wound and show us to the way to Cores" Hearing that relieved me. I thought now at least she wasn't alone.
"Is she ok" He shook his head.
"She lost a lot of blood...there was nothing we could do...but it was a blessing"
"What? She just lost her sister!"
"I knew her parents...they were neighbors of mine. Everyone including her sister abused her as she was another man's offspring" I looked at her and noticed the bruises and scratches. I had assumed it was because of Fraus's outburst.
"What'll happen to her then?" He shrugged. He got up and put two bowls in front of me with some water.
"Just take care of her for now...once we get situated in cores you're heading to the second capital" I was confused why I'd be heading there.
"Why? Isn't it kind of dangerous to be transporting, especially after that?" He looked outside and sighed.
"You think she's connected to Marley...that this was planned?" I thought about it after he asked me that. 'Could she? But the way she looked at me...before she transformed...I don't think it was planned at all.
"I don't know but...I believe it was a freak accident...right?" He put on his helmet and sheild.
"Yea...you think so?...well seeing as how she's had that power for awhile...I choose to believe otherwise." I looked outside and saw distant lights and other carriages with people walking out.
"Everyone up! We're here. Grab your belongings and children and exit once we arrive at the gate!" I tapped the girl's head and woke her up. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. I grabbed her hand causing her to jolt back looking at me...terrorized eyes.
"Hey...we're here its ok..." I pushed the bowl of water Raymond gave me to her.
"Drink before we leave...I'm sure you're thirsty" She picked the bowl more calmed then before.
"...thank you..." She drank as we headed to cores.
"Can...you please tell me where my sister is..." I looked at my bowl of water seeing my reflection...how dirty I was...the cuts...bruises.
"I'm sorry...she passed...showing us the way to Cores" Her head went down her blonde hair covering her eyes.
"So...I'm...Free...?" I glanced at her. I was excepting crying...or sniffling or anything...but the only emotion she showed...was a little smile...a smile of relief.
"Freedom?...".
"Can...I go with you..." She grabbed my hand and starred at me. I finally noticed her hazel eyes...before filled with despair now with hope. I couldn't take her in but...I could get her to the capital I'm sure they'd be able to look after her...a lot better than me. Her hands tightened around mine.
"You showed her something she wanted...if she was mistreated it wouldn't be that hard to gain her trust with a little care...no matter whether you meant it or not...".
'She was lost at the time...I should've declined her request...who knew someone she'd look up to...would turn out like this'.
"You say that...but you don't regret your actions...".
'...You know me to well...'.
"Ok...for now...you can stay with me" I smiled. The carriage came to a stop as Raymond got off to speak with one of the guards. He came back signaled everyone to get off.
"Head to the rear side of the village you'll be shown to your tents for now until its clear to head back home" He looked at me and glanced at the girl holding my hand. He pointed at me.
"You two with me" I got off still holding her hand and tailed him. He lead me to a small house one that was unoccupied.
"As part of the royal staff you'll be in here...lucky you.." He always teased me about the different treatment I get just even as part of the royal staff. He looked at the girl and kneeled down.
"Are you hurt anywhere?" She shook her head.
"I'm ok Mr. Braun".
"Ok head inside for now...I need to borrow him for a second" She was hesitant of leaving. I kneeled down and mustered up a smile.
"I'll be there soon ok...get some rest.." She nodded and let go of my hand as she went inside.
"Looks like she's taking a liking to you.." He took off his helmet and sat down.
"Marley is stationary... for now anyway..." He looked more confused saying it.
"So her attack was independent..." He nodded
"Its more of a possibility now yea" He got up and rubbed his arm
"50 turning on 51...not getting any younger for this shit" We both smirked at that remark. Despite his age he didn't look a day over 30. No baldness, long black hair with light brown eyes. Pretty damn tall to compared to me.
"We're heading to second capital early tomorrow...I guess the she's coming too then" I nodded. He put on his helmet and sighed
"Get some rest"
"You two Raymond" He walked away to the rest of the soldiers as I went inside. I walked in the house as the girl was sitting on the bed.
"Not tired..." she looked at me and shook her head. Her eyes were almost shut an puffy. I sat down on the chair next to the bed and sighed. The house looked like someone lived in it. Decorated and everything but with a lack of belongings.
"We have to get up early...you and I are heading to the capital tomorrow...it's going to be a long ride so...get some sleep..." She looked down and didn't say anything. I got up and locked the door.
"I'm not leaving and no one else will come in...I promise when you wake up tomorrow...I'll be right here" She nodded and laid down on the bed
"Do you have a name?" She shook her head.
"My...parents gave me one...but I forgot it...since they never used it when talking to me..." I sat on the chair and thought of a name.
"How about Sarah...or Gina" She glared at me.
"Those...are bad...bad names" I laughed a bit and thought some more. What she said after hearing of her sisters death stuck with me.
"Free...huh...?" She glanced at me as I stood up.
"How about Liri...?" She thought about it then nodded.
"I like it...what does it mean?" I put the blanket over her and smiled.
"Freedom...Goodnight Liri" She smiled and closed her eyes. I sat back down in the chair and closed my eyes.
"I'll be there soon Minya...keep everyone safe for me...you too Milana" I drifted off and opened my eyes to see a blue tree dominating the sky.
'Ah I'm here again' People kneeled around me. I picked up my head to millions of people kneeled. I could never see their eyes or hear their voice other then two. The figures that kneeled on my right and left.
"...Stop...him..."
"Save...them..."
Those were the only words I ever heard them say until that day...there was another voice...that called...not to me...but it seemed like...calling to itself.
'If you don't...then who will...they are in danger...the others won't listen...so why try...I took their #######...for my own..."
'After that...I think that's where my journey...began...'

Phew Thanks for reading.
I've been writing this for 4 days and planning it out even longer. This is basically a prequel to Attack on Titan told through my own created characters. I already have the ending and middle part thought out and all I have to do is actually write it out.
But whether I continue or not is up to you guys. Juggling college with my own personal time is challenging and I don't want to keep this story continuing if no one is reading it so if you want me to continue please favorite and/or review. That lets me know you all wish to keep this going.
