Marty: Now Edna, what did you do to Hill Valley and Doc I mean Citizen Brown!
Edna: We turned Hill Valley into a clean and morally crime lowered town making it the best and safest place to live.
Marty: Yeah that's good but what happened to the real Doc and Edna?
Edna: Doc? Who's Doc?
Marty: Emmett Brown!
Edna: Oh yeah Citizen Brown. With my moral ethics and spirituality, I made him into a better person by making him about as strictly moral and spiritual as me. His job is to make technology to help make Hill Valley a great place to live. His talents in social and civil engineering along with physics and law have made a great contributions to this great town.
Marty: Yeah I'm sure Hill Valley is clean and had a very low crime rate but what you and Citizen Brown are doing is controlling people through stupid and unnecessary laws that make people miserable by not going after their dreams and own interests.
Edna: My laws are not stupid! They are designed to keep the morals in Hill Valley in the right place!
Marty: I know you believe in strict morals but only people themselves can change their moral compass not government or any other person.
Edna: Well Martin, you're starting to push my buttons so I'm about to head back to the courthouse and complete my duties. So hopefully they are no more distractions.
Marty: Is Citizen Brown available? I need to talk to him about some things.
Edna: He's likely busy with developing new technology so you'll have to see him some other time.
Marty: But I need to see him right now!
Edna: Sorry Martin, appointment only so if you'll excuse me I need to take care of other duties such as developing new laws for the town. Goodbye.
