? Rainforest
"Ughhh. . ." Enterprise felt weak and could barely move a muscle while feeling tons of raindrops all over his body, he felt soaking wet. He slowly opened his eyes and noticed the greyish stormy cloud could above him and powerful bright lightning flash around the clouds.
Enterprise slowly and steadily sat up in the dirt still being pummeled by the strong winds and the raindrops but he eventually overcome it. He noticed he was surrounded by trees, Some of the branches where bending and some were even ripped of due to the strong winds. He was possibly deep within a rainforest as for where? there's a small possibility that he is at the same rainforest earlier during his mission however he knew no such thing can survive a nuclear bomb from point blank range or maybe he was just hallucinating which is likely the case as nobody could survive a nuke detonating near. He decided he would ask those questions later after he has successfully regrouped with his team members, if they where here anyways. Enterprise Activated his riggings to see if it works and luckily its still intact But the bad news is the he cant use it. For unknown reasons the electronic systems and other systems he had malfunctioned or either burnt up by that grenade from the sirens, well most of his electronics are fried from the inside at least he still had some intact. Enterprise turned on his radio.
[This is USS Enterprise can anybody hear me, I repeat this is USS enterprise can anybody hear me?]
Enterprise tried to get in contact with anybody on all frequency but unfortunately no luck either so changed to using other communication devices in his riggings but all of them had their electronic fried up bad. Enterprise soon gave up on trying to use his communications and navigation system as he would hand them to Artic later, If she was here too.
Enterprise then deactivated his riggings due to how much energy activating the rigging would cost and they couldn't help much in this situation too since he cant use the riggings power when his this weak. He decided to move on and start the search hoping he'll find somebody who he knew.
He quickly got up even with all the pain and tried to look for his teammates despite the heavy rain and winds but after awhile of randomly walking around the rainforest he spotted Kaga laying near the riverbed. Enterprise Quickly walked up to her and tried to see if she was still breathing which luckily she was but from an eye perspective she looks fucked up bad from the bruises across her body which was understandable because she was the closest to that siren grenade.
Enterprise tried to do first aid to her but from the looks of it he won't be able to do this greatly due to his body being weak and the powerful win . Enterprise needed to get Artic to help her since he really can't do much. The only thing he can do is find a place where something would block the wind. After a few minutes of looking around he saw a rock ledge just nearby the riverbed too and decided to put her under it. The rock ledge was able to protect her from the winds and the raindrops which should give him enough to get help he decided to plant a beacon near Kaga so he can get help from Artic due to her having more equipment and knowledge in repairing ships and he also doesn't want to risk trying to help her because it might make the situation Much more worse.
Enterprise waited several minutes to see if Kaga would wake up but unfortunately she didn't so he decided to look for other members of his team inside the rainforest with powerful winds and rain which would be a huge challenge. After few minutes of walking around the rainforest he barely spotted vanguard in the bushes due to the fog and rain but the emergency light beside him made detecting him easier.
He quickly got to his position and checked the injuries which luckily where none. He decided to try wake him up gently like what he did to Kaga which didn't work. After a few seconds vanguard got his consciousness back.
Vanguard slowly opened his eyes and out of pure instinct tried to deploy his riggings and take up a defensive position but due to how weak his body was he was unable to do it but as his eye sights focuses he notices one of the face which he was glad to see still alive.
"Vanguard injury report"
"Everything seems to be intact and a some few injuries ." Vanguard groaned after trying to move his legs but he was successfully sit up with the help of enterprise. Vanguards gradually increased after a few seconds and he was now able to see his surrounding. Vanguard noticed there where in the rainforest and possibly escaped.
"Did we escape?"
"So it wasn't a dream? if what my memory recalls i think i might have detonated the nuke" Enterprise tried to remember what happened but he is really doubting what her remembered is the truth.
"Wait there's chance u detonated the nuke?! Then how are we alive?! wait . . . . . But after the siren came to humanity along time ago they broke the laws of physics. Honestly why am I even surprised anymore. . "
"*sigh* i guess your right but We will talk about this later after we have grouped up with the others, also"
Enterprise took out a beacon detector from his equipment and gave it to Vanguard.
"From the looks of it you haven't reseived much injury's and once u can now walk. Take this and fallow where the beacon is and you should be able to find Kaga beside the riverbed and I want you too keep check on her because she has received more injury from the blast"
"Aye prise, also what are you going to do?"
"I'm gonna try to find Pyotr and Artic, will rendezvous back to Kaga after I got the two of them got it?"
"Aye and i think i'm much better now, i'll get going now." Vanguard got up to his feet and checked injuries all over his body which most of them proved to be none fatal and used the beacon detector to get to Kaga.
Enterprise watched vanguard vanish into the fog behind him and so he decided to get moving as well. Enterprise tried to check the vitals of his team members through his equipment but most of his electrical equipment got fried up. Possibly because of the siren bomb so he was forced to check every bush or tree which would probably take way too long time and shouting won't do much die to the sound of raindrops being louder than his he shout but he still gave it a try but to no avail.
15 minutes has passed but the storm still hasn't shown any signs of weakening.
While Enterprise was scouting the area he saw at the corner of his eye that something was moving and out of pure instinct he activated his riggings and used the M82 Barrett on the strange object.
After a few seconds of pointing the Barett at the object it slowly got out of the bushes and it was just a deer running. Enterprise sighed and thought that was one of his teammates But then at the corner of his ear he heard a continues crack of sticks behind him. He immediately did a 180° and and pointed his modified M82 Barrett at the person behind him which also had a gun pointed straight at him but then he noticed the clothing and it hit a light bulb.
"Friendly." Enterprise shouted immediately after he noticed the same insignia on Pyotr.
"Enterprise?"
"Affirm its me, any injuries?" Enterprise while in getting bombarded by raindrops scanned Pyotr's body which showed no fatal I injuries so far but looks can be deceiving.
"да, I have few injuries but mostly just scratches from tree branches and sticks nothing bad. Also do you know what happened and how did we get here? Did we escape through the forest?" Kirov questioned Enterprise.
"We'll talk about that later but I have a question first have you seen Artic?" Enterprise was hoping for Pyotr that he has already found her which would make a lot of things easier.
"Unfortunately no, your the first person that I've bumped to since I woke up in that hell hole. Have you seen the others?"
"Affirm, Vanguard and Kaga are near the riverbed on our south and I've just found you. Now we just need to find Artic and we'll group up with Artic and take her back to Kaga"
"да, let's get going then and also." Kirov took out two search lights from his equipment.
"Every electronics I have seems to have malfunctioned or the circuits got fried up except this search lights"
"Thanks this will help on our search."
Enterprise took the two search lights and tried to turn them on clicking the switch on a lot of the times
"Are you sure this works?" Enterprise repeatedly tried to turn it in but it won't turn on.
"Ahahaha . . haha. .ha . . ha.. I think I forgot the batteries."
Enterprise just replied a straight face to Pyotr -_-
While enterprise and Pyotir was just walking around the forest they heard a faint shout and a light turn off and on just on their 3rd o clock.
"Prise some thing is on our 3rd possibly Artic" Kirov heard the faint shout and a small light coming from there right at a 90 degree angle.
Enterprise looked closer and saw a bright light flickering from their left
Both Pyotr and Enterprise navigated their way to the light source slowly and steadily. Passing by a few branches, trees and slopes just to get to the light source got them to a cave and their they saw Artic sitting on the outer lining of a cave with a huge bandage on her right leg.
"Artic are you ok?" Enterprise was slightly worried as he saw Artic's right leg bandaged up with a small blood taint.
"Everything seems fine at my body but when i woke up on this cave but i couldn't feel my right leg and when i tried to look, All i can tell you is that it was severely injured as you see."
Enterprise debated on what do with Artic but he decided to ask a important question as to see how in the hell they're gonna get to Kaga with her being injured.
"Artic can you walk?, i know you cant do it well but can you at least move for 1 mile?"
"Probably not , i barely was able to sit up right."
Enterprise sighed as he was give only one option left. He quickly picked up Artic and put her in his back. Artic was about 50,000 tonnes and since Pyotr was about the same weight as her he would've gotten a hard time but Enterprise was more than a hundred thousand tonnes making carrying her not that hard compared to carrying Kennedy when we was drunk a while back in the base.
All though Artic was a bit surprised by his actions it was to be expected anyways since their really isn't to get her out of here. Enterprise immediately started moving quickly the riverbed.
"Enterprise where are the others?"
"At the riverbed where we will take you at and speaking of others Kaga is still unconscious"
"is he ok? does she have external injuries" Artic asked with a slightly worried tone
"No visible external injuries when i checked on her but you better take a look since i really didn't check her throughout
Enterprise, Artic and Pyotr Got to the riverbed as fast as they can and saw vanguard sitting beside the unconscious Kaga lying on the ground. Enterprise immediately got beside Kaga and disembarked Artic which she quickly got to work on checking Kaga if when handicapped by her broken right leg.
Artic deployed her rigging and took a few equipment she need on checking Artic but then she noticed something was off.
"Um unfortunately some of my electronic equipment has malfunction, do all of you guys have working equipment?"
All 3 of them just shoot their heads in response.
"Artic quickly got back to work after receiving what she needed to now"
All the 3 boys just needed to wait and hope that Kaga isn't at a critical condition.
After a few minute passed Artic quickly cut off the silence and finally responded to them.
"Fortunately everything looks fine for now but since i didn't have any good equipment i really cant be sure"
Enterprise debated for a moment on what do but then he decided what to do for now.
"Artic can you get your equipment fixed and ready?"
"Luckily i have enough supplies to get all of our electronic systems fixed but due to this weather, I really doubt that i can do this without making it more worse than before."
"So we need to find a settlement somehow huh." Enterprise searched everything in his arsenal and after a few moments of trying to find anything use full he finally found something. Enterprise deployed a Foldable tent beside Artic.
"Artic how long will it take you to get one of your drones airborne?"
"I estimate about 10-25 minutes if everything goes as planned"
"This is my last one, Although i doubt that it would hold long enough it should last for a few hours if we wold this thing on the ground. I want you to get working on that drone ASAP, we'll use it to find any settlements"
Artic just nodded got her drone and other needed equipment in the tent and started working
"Vanguard, Pyotr you both hold the front of the tent and ill hold the back."
20 minutes later
"its done, everything seems to go well such as camera and other controls so are we gonna use it to find any settlements nearby?"
Enterprise nodded
"aye" Artic dropped the drone on the best nearby terrain she could find and let it fly. Although due to the rain and win it was hard to fly but she was trained to fly a drone in all weather conditions. The drone went of the ground flew a 30 meters above to ground and went off.
it was just another waiting game for Enterprise.
"light! i think i found a settlement" Artic scanned the region with her drone doing figure eights "Looks like a small city"
Pyotr and vanguard was taking a nap but when Artic shouted they found a settlement they quickly got back up while Enterprise was just waiting for Artic to report anything happening.
"where and how far is it?"
"its about North East and approximately 23 miles away"
Enterprise was genuinely surprised that there where a settlement that close. Why did'n't the high command tell them earlier? but questions later they need too get to safety ASAP Enterprise remained silent for a moment thinking could they even make it that far? But Enterprise knew they needed to find one ASAP for Kaga.
"Pyotr you'll carry Kaga, I will carry Artic and Vanguard scout the area in front of us. Lets get moving!"
All for of them nodded and did their respective tasks
After a few hours of walking through the forest they finally saw a light from the one of the buildings and as they continued walking to the light they bumped into a 2 meter wall which the 3 of them just jumped over and landed on the side walk. Luckily it was around 2-3 AM so almost everybody was asleep and no cars passed by on the road.
They continued to fallow the side walk and pass by many buildings but one thing they noticed is the use of ww2 era tech from a few buildings and cars. Yes they where also modern things such as gadgets,other appliances ETC but a lot was ww2 era style which was out of the ordinary but each city has their own differences so they did not pay attention to it much as they where looking for a place to stay at for the day.
But as they where passing by closed buildings Enterprise noticed they where passing by a newspaper stall. He stopped for few seconds and read "AZUR LANE SPLITS IN HALF. VICHIYA DOMINION, SARDEGNA EMPIRE, IRON BLOOD, SAKURA EMPIRE FORMS AN ALLIANCE TO FIGHT AZUR LANE."
Now Enterprise was surprised about this. Where they just talking about a game or not because every time they pass a new building it just keeps getting weirder and weirder. After walking Enterprise looked tried to find the USA flag on his soldier but what surprised him was instead of the flag of the United states Navy it showed a Eagle carrying an anchor. Enterprise tried to look at his team members flag but all of them changed also so he decided to speak up.
"All 3 of you check your respective flag."
all of them did and was surprised to see the fact that their nations flag was replaced by unknown flags.
"wait did this just happen now or we are somehow blind and did not notice this earlier?" Vanguard asked with a bit of confusion
"I think we somehow missed this apparently"
"we'll talk about this later and also just to be safe cover up the flag of Kaga with some clothing."
"why price?"
"I saw something on a newspaper that said that Sakura empire waged war on Azur Lane which i'm thinking is the allies but i'm hoping that that is just talking about a game but everything we passed by is extraordinary so that's why."
All 4 of them took his reasoning understandable as everything happening to this point was indeed extraordinary and how he got that information earlier they'll just ask later when they find a place to stay.
The 5 of them went around the city but soon after they found a hotel, Not too big and not too small. They went inside the hotel and saw somebody a girl on the desktop still sleeping. Enterprise looked at his inventory and he had a few thousand dollars given to him by the command if he he where to be stranded anywhere.
"Um miss?" Enterprise tried to wake her up with words which unfortunately did not work so he decided to top her shoulder which did the trick. The cashier slowly opened her eyes but when she noticed 5 well armed person she immediately woke up.
"uh- Are you from the authorities?! Wait i"ll call the manager!"
"wait no no no miss where here to book for a room"
"ah oh but why here?"
"We need this for a mission and what mission is that? classified. How much for 5 people in 6 hours" Enterprise finally thought a reason so they can stay here. and as for the 6 hours they'll add more time when they need it.
"for 5 person per 6 hours thats about 140-150$ sir!."
Enterprise took out a 150$ from his wallet and dropped the money on the cashiers desktop.
"Thanks sir! Fallow me i'll lead you to the room"
"Oh yeah, miss what date is it?" Al though Enterprise wanted to ask where they are this would only just make the suspicion on them much higher.
"um November 1, 1982"
A/N: I won't be fallowing the anime since there really ain't a lot i can word with so i am probably gonna create my own scenarios and add a bit of WW2 naval engagements here and there.
