"um November 1, 1982"
The 4 of them all snapped from what they heard. They begun questioning if they heard the wrong thing
"Are you sure its 1982 miss?" Enterprise asked another time just to be sure hes not mistaking it.
"Um yes i'll even show you." Th cashier took out her phone and showed her calendar too us which said Nov 1, 1982.
"Do you guys not have any thing that shows the date?"
"Unfortunately no we really did not have anytime too look at the date in the military." Now enterprise was really thinking that they where somehow not from earth anymore. And as for the 3 of them they where really questioning whether they where on earth or not as they where not briefed that a small city was near 30 miles on their mission. Did they juts forget or where in a totally different
"oh but anyways where here!."
She opened the door which reveled a pretty large room with 2 beds, a TV, Bathroom and ETC.
"Here's your key and See ya!" The cashier Swiftly sprinted across the hallway, to the stairs and got back to her desktop which her night shift will be over.
Although most of them wanted to drop on the bed and take a rest, All of them where soaking wet and a bit of mud on their clothes. Enterprise activated his riggings which surprised everybody in the room barely fitting due to how large it was and took a container which showed a few outfits he always carried in case of spy missions and ETC.
"All of you pick whatever outfit you want after you showered and as for Kaga, Artic you change her clothes".
All 4 of them took changes in showering and after a few minutes where passed all of them where fitted on the outfit they chose in order to not get any suspicions when going outside. All of them whore black or blue jeans since Enterprise did not have anything else. Enterprise whore a light blue T shirt with black jackets, Pyotir whore a white long sleeve Shirt with a cap, Vanguard had a Red T shirt, Artic whore a green polo shirt and a leather jacket and lastly for kaga she had a long sleeve dark blue shirt.
After they got their outfit coincidentally Kaga open her eyes by a bit and groaned. Artic was the first person to see this notice this and immediately got to her and performed checks to see if she was but luckily it was only a mild head trauma which should heal in just a few days.
"Slow down Kaga you just woke up from a mild head trauma" Artic immediately tried to put her on the bed but she resisted.
"Where are we? What about the mission? did we do it?" Kaga immediately bombarded Artic with questions after she just woke up.
"Ill answer those questions later when your brain is fully healed"
"No i want to know"
Artic did her best to tell Kaga to rest but her persistant nature got a hold of her. Artic looked to to Enterprise which nodded giving her the go sign.
"Long story short After we woke up we found ourselves in an unknown location on earth. or even not on earth"
"huh? not on earth"
"um Maybe where still on earth but not the same earth we know."
"what?" Now Kaga was getting more and more confused on what Artic.
"Ah, you see i really cant explain it to you well unless you've fully healed yourself"
"bu-" Before Kaga could finish her word as if time stopped Artic pierced straight into her soul
"You'll rest right?" Artic replied with a happy face but for Kaga she thought that a demon was going to consume her. She immediately pretented on taking a rest.
But for the 3 of them they couldn't see the face of Artic and barely heard her words. The 2 of them questioned how Kaga listened to here quickly as all of them knew when Kaga was very persistent but for Enterprise he knew how scary she can be when you don't listen to her.
"Well that's done! lets start the breifing. Well first of all we should be dead. Why? because i detonated a nuke. Even i questioned myself whether it was just a dream but the recorder here shows that everything i said connected with the dream i had. Although you may not here me talk about the nuke but everything here was in sync on what i remembered that day." Enterprise took out a recorder and started playing it to all of them.
"Then if what you say is right how are we alive? as far as i'm aware nobody can survive a nuclear explosion from point blank range. Yes there are ships who survived a nuclear explosion but that was only a shock wave not the blast itself."
"Yes Pyotr that's the same questioned i asked myself too when i woke up, I have a couple of theories. First we somehow got teleported to another location on earth or even dimension. 2nd this is our afterlife or this is our hell and this is our judgement and lastly where inside of some virtual reality that looks somehow so real and where forced to live our life this way and even worse where just a lab rat for testing. For know our main priority is to find a way back home or reality and if that's not possible we might have to live here for the rest of our life"
All the 5 of them flinched at the 2nd and 3rd theory as those where the possibly the worst thing that can happen. Enterprise finally broke the silence.
"IF some of those where right and we are in a whole new world either way we have to continue living one way or another until we find our way back home. As for the world we are currently in Vanguard and i will go around this place and scan the town. Possibly also get information, Pyotir and Artic you'll 2 stay here."
Enterprise stood up from his seat and so did Vanguard as both of them left the room. Enterprise and vanguard split off at random directions both agreeing to come back 3 hours after.
Enterprise was just walking on the sidewalk when he saw a familiar sight a taxi. He immediately waved his hands at the upcoming car which luckily saw him and stopped just beside of him. He opened the door and closed it after getting in.
"the nearest bookstore sir" The taxi driver just nodded and started the car immediately. As they where passing by a few buildings they passed a bank which had a few armed guards outside. Everything looked normal but thanks to Enterprise's modified eye saw every detail the guard has but instead of normal modernized pistol he saw a colt M1093 which was more than 80 years old where none where being used in actual combat and it was not modified in the slightest at all. Now enterprise suspicion on this world having ww2 style armaments but modern economy was getting more and more confirmed.
After a few minutes they finally arrived. Enterprise gave the money and left the car. He opened the bookstore and searched for anything use full such as history books naval books and ETC.
Enterprise left the book store carrying 2 books. 1 of them being history books and the other being a naval history. Enterprise walked still reading the book in his hand. Thanks to his modified eyes he it only took below a second on each page. when Enterprise opened the door to the hotel he noticed he was more than 3 hours away, he immediately sprinted swiftly to the room which reveald all 4 of them sitting on a couch and 3 maps in the middle.
"I see your ok now Kaga"
"Hai"
"what took you so long?"
"I lost track on time sorry i see you've got something"
"Da while you where away Vanguard here got us 3 maps. As you can see here there's USA, Japan, mount Everest ETC but where they are located at is not right at all. USA which was supposed to be located now is on the eastern side as for japan they are on Europe and so goes on."
"So possibly where in a different dimension." Enterprise dropped the history book and naval book.
"The book says here that like our world the siren invaded this place too but instead of the Cold war it happened just before ww1. Since the the naval technology here was halted and some a lot of the scientist here gave up on beating the sirens and just focused on economy until they first created Kansens here which was able to push back the sirens, Well most of them. i don't know how they where able to do it since they're technological strength is lacking very much and they did not tel in the book how they did it."
"The only time we can now is if we see it for ourselves. For now we need to set up a base where we can deploy are ships for repairs and ETC. Pack up you luggage where leaving."
"Where did you get this car?"
"I bought it in a car shop nearby Kaga"
"i mean how where you able to even buy a car? Shouldn't you need a liscence?"
"I have my own ways now everybody get in the car."
All 5 of them boarded the car and drove off. They went across the city until fewer and fewer buildings passed by until there was only trees left. They have been going for hours now and some of them begun questioning if Enterprise knew where he was going. Until they stopped to go off road . A few minutes pasted by then they stopped.
"Wait isn't this an experimentation facility back in our world? wasn't this the one who was just discovered on 2023?" Artic looked at the 300 meter high and a kilometer in width waterfall. Although not the tallest or even widest one of its main feature was that if you went through the water there was a enormous cavern about 1 km in width and half a kilometer in length big enough to fit a Enterprise class inside and even have enough room to go with a few land masses on the sides. It also had a canal although not deep enough to let a ship go through but they can just activate their riggings and use this to connect to the ocean in front of them.
"Yes this the same one. They probably discovered it earlier but just did not check whats past the waterfall."
"прекрасный, How did you even know where this place is? i'm guessing something you passed by was familiar and lead to this didn't it?"
"I guess your partially right as i would never knew this place was here if it were n't for that familiar road we passed by but i did look at the map to pinpoint the location tho. For now we will have to make this main base until we can find a way back to earth."
The 5 of them deployed their ships into the waterfall, Although it was a bit cramped it was just enough to fit all 5 of them.
"Artic, I want you to get Pyotr and my vessel battle ready. How many days would that take?"
"oh it will only take about 5-8 hours not days." Enterprise was geniunely surprised on how in the hell she would be able fix their ships that fast.
"How? pretty sure it will take days considering your equipment."
"Actually" Then out of nowhere 24 drones with robotic arms and equipment under them flew from Artic's ship then went beside her.
"I Repaired some of my drones while you where away and as for how? sec~ret" Artic said while putting a finger on her lips
Enterprise just decided to let it go since there's really nothing much he can do and decided he would go back to the city again to pass time while waiting for Artic to make both of their ships battle ready.
"I'll roam around the city. I will be back in about 8 7 hours or so depending on the traffic."
"I will go to" Kaga said out of the blue
"Huh? you'll come?"
"Hai"
"Ok then, Where bout to leave so i suggest to get in the car now."
Kaga just nodded and hopped in the vehicle. Enterprise started the engine and went off. Although Enterprise questioned why Kaga would come as he only intended to go to the city to drop off on a bookstore and read some books that could give them more information or even find a way o get back to earth which was very unlikely but as the further he thought why he slowly understood why. Kaga in her whole kansen life actually never was able to step on a human city or even a town freely. Enterprise even remembered when she said she would rather be a human if given the chance.
Its been a around 1 and a half hours now and they finally reached the city. Enterprise roamed around the city for awhile passing a gas station for refueling and on the move again but enterprise motive was to go to a bookstore and not roam around.
"Kaga can you drive?"
"What? um i can but not in a city as . . . I really don't know much about the rules here so why did you ask?"
"Actually i was hoping you can just drive it instead and pick me up later since i actually ment to go to a library for more info but i guess not"
"oh? dont worry i can just walk"
"Thanks but be back before 4 hours as im gonna be leaving"
Kaga just nodded in responded with a nod.
Enterprise stopped and slowly took a left parking just right in front of the Library Both of the got out of the car and headed their ways. Enterprise just walked up to the library and cashed in for 4 hours. He read every book that's close to history or anything that can prove to be useful which he almost read everything in the history section and as for Kaga she went around the city going into some shops but not buying anything and ETC.
3 and a half hours later
Enterprise stay at the library took shorter than expected giving him the free time to just sleep in the car and wait for Kaga although it was already around 9:00 PM. After a few moments of waiting he finally saw Kaga out of the front mirror of the car, Walked to the side and boarded the car. Enterprise started the engine up and was about to drive forward but Kaga tapped his shoulders.
"Wait" Kaga pointed her fingers to the taxi that just stopped nearby on the sidewalks. At closer inspection he saw a woman about 20 years of age and a taxi driver. From the looks of it they where having a big problem but to Enterprise's point of view they had nothing to do with them nor where they even related at all.
"Look Kaga we have n-" Before Enterprise can continue Kaga was already walking up to the both of them and was gonna talk it out. Enterprise just sighed as he watched Kaga talk with the two of them. And then the taxi driver got on the car and drove off into the distance. When Enterprise thought it was over Kaga and the girl walked over to their car and the 2 of them hopped in which surprised Enterprise.
"Why did you let her into our car?" Enterprise whsipered to KAGA
"Look Prise she needed help and was very late to the point she was about to miss a something if we don't help her. As for where she is going its at the port where we just pass by to get to he waterfall .Is they anything wrong about it" Kaga whispered back.
Enterprised decided to not argue anymore since she was going to win most of it nor did she cause a lot of problem either but what made Enterprise very cautious was that she carried a gun! Although it did not look like it but her hand was in a position where if both of they do anything wrong she can easily pull out her weapon and put shots into us before we can even react if we where human. Enterprise did understand her since of a stranger offered you a help and you had a firearm you'd probably be ready to use it just in case the strangers does anything wrong but from her movements it already showed that she was skilled in combat. Enterprise just decided to let it go and keep and eye on her. He started up the engine and drove off.
As they where driving Enterprise noticed the port on their left and soon enough the girl spoke.
"You can just drop me here" The girl said with a very low pitch sound
Enterprise understood and wanted to let her off the car immediately so he took no time to stop on the side of the road. The girl opened the door and before she was gonna close it said "thank you" and close the car cab. Enterprise nodded in response and Kaga saying our welcome. They continued on until they finally reached the waterfall and got off.
"Ah! i see your back and for as for Pyotr and your ship they are battle capable now"
"Thanks Artic. now Pyotr get ready were sailing out with the cover of night.

Although Enterprise did not really understand what Pyotr said but he took that as a yes.
After a few minutes of preparations Pyotr and Enterprise deployed their riggings and fallowed through the river. After they finally reached deep waters of the sea they jumped extremely high and changed their riggings into their ship form and boarded. Enterprise being at the back and Pyotr veliki being at the front of the formation.
As for why Enterprise chose Pyotr over Kaga the main reason was that they did not have alot of means to refuel so they have to make use of the nuclear reactors they had and as for why aot vanguard? although he was a modified to to replace 10 Strident II with cruise missiles. A submarine cannot really escort Enterprise since a submarine's mission was to be stealth and HMS Vanguard wasn't suited for scouting lands since submarines typically have low detection radius wit there periscope or radar since they where low to the water and even with the help of sonar you really cant map out a area more faster than a carrier.
Enterprise loaded up 2 E-2 Hawk eye on the flight deck and both was catapulted into the air reaching more than 150kmph in less than a few seconds with the help of the electromagnetic catapult system. Yes they could have relied on the maps that they where given but since humanity exploration on the sea was halted due to the sirens it really wasn't accurate on oceans and island placement. After a few minutes of being in the conning tower drawing the area around them that was sent by the E-2 hawk eye they detected 3 ships in a formation just 200 miles on their left. Enterprise immediately sent this info to Pyotr to be ready if he was needed.
The E-2 sent him multiple pictures of the 3 ships detected. Although they where very blurry since the E-2 was relatively far and high he definitely knew they where war ships since all 3 of them large amount of armaments on them. Enterprise re armed and refueled 2 F-35C just in case if they where to carry some sort of radar on board
While both F-35C where arming Enterprise planned out a flight path for the F-35C to get close to the 3 ships. Yes F-35C where stealth air crafts but that doesn't mean you can just send a F-22 Raptor and think it would pass through all the radars. The F-35C was almost he exact same model as the F-35 but it had longer wings and no VTOL so they can carry more ordinates but like the F-35C it had a few spots where it would be easily detected by radar as the stealth air cafts were specifically built to deflect frequencies from radars but not every part is protected from radar so they must still proceed with caution.
The 2 F-35C where catapulted across the ship breaking breaking 170 m/h in just below a few seconds on a 300 meter runway. The 2 F-35C banked left and fallowed the flight plan as instructed by Enterprise. When the 2 F-35C finally got close enough which they confirmed they did not carry any sort of radar which gave them more chances to go close enough so they can see what class it was. Enterprise confirmed that the 2 escorting ships where both Fletcher class destroyers and the other ship was a new Orleans class cruisers. with the help of the night sky and them not having any sort of radar the F-35C can fairly go pretty close and even closer if they cut off their engines and glide for a few minutes. Since one of the F-35C got within just shy of 3 kilometers away they where able to get a close look up since they had their lights on. The first leading Fletcher class had a small girl on the bow of the ship and the other girl on the second Fletcher class was sitting on the starboard side of the ship. Then lastly the new orleans class which showed 2 personal and with closer inspection one of them seems to be a kansen and the other a high ranking officer judging by the bright white outfit and a naval hat.
Enterprise decided to fallow in persuit and ordered Pyotr to make a hard right turn. The 2 of them would fallow in persuit just 300 miles away from them for safety reasons.
Enterprise decided to fallow them for a while since the could possibly lead them into one of their bases. One of the most important requirements in war is knowing where and what move everybody is taking whether that be the enemy or your allies. After approximately 2 hours of fallowing them the E-2D Hawk eye detected multiple siren portals appear near the formation around 15 kilometers away.
Enterprise wouldn't have helped them if it weren't for the fact that they carrier some sort of high command with them and they could probably lead him to one of their positions as this would help in future missions. But if they want to help them they can't just randomly come out of no where and help them since they dont belong to this world and avoid unnecessary contact as much contact if possible against the kansens or navy in this world. Enterprise alarmed Pyotr to ready his long range hypersonic anti ship cruise missile that can break mach 8 and reach enemy from 587 kilometers away although primarily built to hit enemy mass produced ships a such as a siren cruiser and a carrier. Enterprise also armed 1 F/a-18 squadron with Anti-Siren missiles.
The 2 F-35C reported to him that they where 11 class siren cruisers, and 4 beta class sirens which is fairly large considering they where only fighting 2 destroyers and 1 cruiser. The 4 F/a-18 fully armed where catapulted into the air and went straight for the siren positions. As for the 2 destroyers and cruiser they immediately turned the opposite direction where the siren came from. As they where running away one of the F-35C dropped a 1 artificially created nano bomb in the center of the siren fleet. Although it does not cause any damage but what it prevents is the siren using their portals to escape in a 20 miles radius for 7 hours as the siren being alarmed of their presence would surely lead to trouble.
As expected the siren immediately turn the opposite direction of the running fleet as they knew something was wrong. Once the kansens got away more than 30 miles apart Enterprise immediately ordered Pyotr to launch his enhanced Brahmos II which carried more payload, longer range and mach 1 faster. Enterprise looked at Pyotr's ship from the conning tower and saw lots of smoke covering the nuclear heavy cruiser as 1 by 1 all 11 hypersonic cruise missile was sent away.
The 11 hypersonic cruise missiles passed the F/a-18f and went straight for the siren cruisers. The cruise missile which is going well above mach 8 slammed into the siren cruiser cutting through its armor like paper and detonated 1000 Kg of explosive power inside completely decimating all 11 siren cruisers. And before the beta class siren could react the 4 F/a-18f unleashed 4 anti-siren missiles 20km away which only went mach barely mach 3. The missile kept changing its course from time to time to lessen the chance of interception and when reached 1 km distance from the target it would immediately activate it sensors and when it was 200 meters it would do minor changes in the trajectory and away the cap of the missiles would blow off to unleash 150+ Fragments carrying a small explosive fillings inside while going mach 6. It had a radius of 5 meters and only took 1 fragment to hit the sirens head to nuetralize her. Wolf pack tactics where use when attacking elite class sirens since they had a higher probability of dodging them so multiple missiles would target 1 shop covering their own area to make the hi rate 100%.
The F/a-18f made another low pass to confirm they where indeed dead. When confirmed they would drop LGB with only 500 pounds of explosive just to completely eradicate the beta class siren bodies which took longer to disappear than the siren cruisers. the 4 F/a-18 remained on the area to steer away vessels until the siren cruisers fully disappear removing any evidence of engagement here.
Enterprise watched the angled flight deck and watched multiple air crafts landing but he also launched another E-2D hawkeye in the process. As he was examining the information he was gathering the lights, electronics system flickered and the comms where stopped. Enterprise immediately tried to trace back the reason. As Enterprise was checking his systems everything suddenly stopped as if time stopped. Enterprise tried to deploy his riggings to no avail but he felt something tap the back of his head. Enterprise looked at the black monitor as a mirror and saw a huge barrel pointed at the back of his face. He also noticed multiple drones and main batteries pointed at him at point blank range giving him little to no chance of getting away so he slowly got his hands up in the air. He looked the figure closer and saw a smirk on its face.
he muttered under his voice "Arbiter"
