Of Liars and Sleep

Marinette was tired.

Scratch that, she was DEAD. Fighting akumas for 8 hours at night can do something to a person. Marinette wanted to stay home, but she had a Chemistry test, so she trudged out of bed and stumbled into class.

Once entering the class, she sat down on the seat and put her head on the desk. Alya, (being the good friend that she was) woke her up.

"What is it," she said lazily.

"Did you know that Chat Noir and Ladybug were up all night fighting an akuma? Unfortunately, it was after I fell asleep." Alya said along with a frown.

She groaned, "At least you slept, I could not sleep at all due to the akuma attack. Seriously, who akumatizes someone in the middle of the night?"

Just then, Lila and Adrien came in. Adrien looked like something the cat dragged in, although Lila was up and perky as a butterfly.

"Hello class, I'm so pleased! Prince Ali and I were up all-night chatting about the pet fund I started." Lila said with a sickly-sweet smirk.

Before she could say anything more, Rose stood up, "But Price Ali and I were talking about the hospital he opened up for sick kids."

Lila started crying, "I knew you're never going to believe me!"

Now the class was split. Half of the believed Lila, and half of them believed Rose. But before it could go out of scale, Marinette stood up.

"SHUT UP!"

"I am tired of all of you fighting over what is right. I know Lila is lying so that I can finally take a nap. Jagged Stone never had a cat, he's allergic to fur. Also, the ladybug cure can only fix things from an akuma attack. So, shut up with your lies!"

And she went back to sleep. Everyone was stunned by how Marinette handled the problem, because she never screamed. Unfortunately for Lila, they all knew now to never trust stories without checking.
