It had all happened too quick for anyone to notice before it was too late. In a run up between heroes and the League of Villains, a young high school girl, who had to have been a freshman or sophomore, had for some reason gotten caught up in the middle of it. This young girl was capable of turning her victims into believing that they were touch deprived, in which for it to take effect, two people would have to be breathed on by her, making them inseparable from each other after contact with her breath. This quirk made it hard particularly hard for her to make friends, so she usually wore a mask. But for whatever reason, she decided to ditch it on her way home from dinner with her existing friends.
While making her way down the sidewalk, she noticed all the commotion in a very uncommon and cramped area between broken and old buildings. Doing a bit of investigating, she came across the one and only Deku going against what appeared to be an insanely scary man. She was a fan of the pro hero, but did not know how dangerous this other man was. She had stopped to watch everything go down, but when that man took notice in her presence, he took action. He quickly made his way over to the innocent bystander, with ill intentions in mind. She had been staring so longingly at Deku she had barely any time to react to the large hand that was reaching right towards her face at an alarming speed. Her eyes met with the man's as she exhaled deeply and flinched away as he nearly made contact with her, when she suddenly felt her body yanked to the side and pulled into the arms of her idol. She gasped and looked up at him, eyes still wide with surprise and her breathing shaken.
"This is between me and you! Don't you dare drag anyone else into this!" Deku exclaimed with the girl still in his arms. All the man did was smile, not that anyone could tell behind the hand on his face.
"She was sticking her nose into our business, though. She shouldn't have been standing right there if she didn't want part of the action," he replied dryly. Deku released her from his arms and stood in front of her, blocking off the villain from further harassing her.
With this opportunity, she turned foot and sprinted away, leaving them both by themselves to figure out what was going to become of them. The quirk was to take effect any moment now, but being so caught up in the moment, she wasn't thinking clearly and ran away without giving an explanation. She made a successful escape when she turned the corner, Deku watching her as she went and the other man stood from a distance, but staring directly at him.
Deku felt the red eyes burn into the back of his skull, but told himself not to fall for it, not to let it effect him, not to be scared or nervous. When he shifted his position to face Shigaraki again, he was standing right in front of him. Too close for comfort.
Ba-dump!
Both of their hearts beat in unison as they suddenly felt feverish. Deku put a hand to his forehead and leaned forward; Shigaraki scratched his neck while his other hand fidgeted the hem of his shirt. Both of their faces were red, Deku's more noticeable because Shigaraki still had his face covered. Deku looked up from his position, their eyes meeting. Their pupils dilated, their faces heated up even more, the pressure was too immense. Almost like magic, they threw themselves into each other's arms, Deku wrapping his around his neck and burying his face into his skinny chest while Shigaraki's hands found themselves clutching at Deku's hips, thumbs pressing against his hipbones and pinkies up to avoid activating his quirk.
"Why are you doing this, Shigaraki? I came here to defeat you, not to do... whatever this is!" Deku exclaimed, unaware of why either of them were acting so desperately.
"What are you talking about? You made the first move, you useless wannabe hero!" Shigaraki retorted, his grip becoming tighter as he pressed his body closer to Deku's. Deku had only scoffed at his reply, but said nothing in return.
Their breathing had become more erratic as they began shifting their positions, trying to feel more of each other, as if they were trying to merge. Moving closer towards a more private area, Deku suddenly felt his back press against a wall.
"Izuku..." Shigaraki called his name under his breath. In response, the hero hugged tighter at Shigaraki's neck, his head turned down to try avoiding any embarrassment of looking at each other directly.
"Getting shy all the sudden, are we?" Shigaraki teased as his hand traveled lower to the back of Deku's thighs, lifting one from underneath the knee. Deku only whined at the contact, but nonetheless responded by making a small hop up so that Shigaraki could press him against the wall, his legs wrapped tightly around his back. Their foreheads touched together and they could feel each other's breath more than ever before.
"I don't know why, hero, but I can't just get enough of you right now. It doesn't seem like you're too far off, either," Shigaraki whispered sweetly into his ear, sending a shiver up Deku's spine.
"Don't say things like that! It's embarrassing... but for now, maybe we should find somewhere more private," he blushed at his own suggestion, but still holding tightly to his sworn enemy.
"Maybe we should. As much as I'd like to show off how easily I've dominated you, it might be smart if we kept this behind closed doors," Shigaraki painfully forced himself to pull away from Deku, carefully sliding him off as if he were so delicate he would break like glass. As soon as his feet touched the ground, their fingers intertwined almost completely, save for Shigaraki's pinky again, as they rushed off to where ever they could find first that could give them the privacy they both wanted.
Coming up to a sketchy looking hotel, they rushed through the double doors and stood at the counter.
"Hello, how can I h-"
"King size bed just for tonight. Any room will do," Shigaraki frantically interrupted the front desk clerk.
"Oh, okay. Here are the prices and you'll just need to sign some paperwork real quick," she brushed it off, being used to these types of guests already.
"That's fine. Thank you," Shigaraki shoved his cash onto the counter and sloppily signed off all of the documents with Deku clinging to his back, not once breaking contact. The clerk had made a key for them while in the process because if anything, she didn't want to interact with them anymore than she had to. He slid everything over to her side and in return, she slid the key card over with the room number written on it.
"Thank you!" they both chimed as they rushed upstairs, hand in hand.
"Enjoy your stay!" She sat back down on her swivel chair and took her phone out, rolling her eyes. "Kids these days."
