Chapter 2, Pregnant.

Savannah started showing she was pregnant but had nausea all the time day and night, so she wasn't getting much sleep, but she would have a nap on her parent's couch whenever she could. Savannah went with Jake and her father to pack up her grandfather's things. She walked behind Jake and saw the pictures of Alma and her children. She grabbed them from the box and put them in the small one she had in her hand.

Jake had a picture of him and his grandfather his father came up behind him.

"You should keep that one." His father said while walking back over to the couch, sitting on it. Savannah also found a picture of her and her grandfather, so she put it in the box as well. They left the house and drove home. When they walked in, their twin cousins walked up to Jake.

"Happy birthday, cousin Jake." They said Jake just looked at them and left to his room with Savannah following him. They both sat on the bed when their Aunt Susie walked in with a present.

"It's from your grandfather." Aunt Susie said and handed him the present, then walked out of the room. Jake opened it and saw a book. He opened it, and on the front page in his grandfather's writing, it had.

To Jake,

and the worlds he has

yet to discover.

From Grandfather.

When jake turned the page over, there was a postcard of a place called Cairnholm. He turned it over to see that there was writing therefrom Alma Peregrine. He looked at his sister.

"My dearest Abe I hope this card finds you well. The children and I yearn for your news. I do hope you will visit again soon. We would so love to see you. With admiration Alma Peregrine." He read out to his sister.

The next day Savannah stayed home while her parents took Jake to see his doctor, and when they returned home, Jake looked at her and grabbed her hand, pulling her up from the couch into his bedroom so they could talk. That night Savannah grabbed Alma's photo and put it on her bedside table.
