The Beast of Xian
The four leaf shinobi stand victorious after their battle with the rogue ninja, looking at one another with a mix of emotions primarily those that involve adrenaline rushing through their veins. "Good work everyone" Hanabi calls out being the first one to properly come to after combat. Looking primarily at the still slightly enraged Hana she continues "let's help the injured best we can before the medics arrive."
Konohamaru still with a shit-eating grin across his face pats the still mesmerized Kasai on the shoulder, "Ye, the Rasengan is a great technique am I right?" his response was a nod from the shocked genin. This lack of response just made Konohamaru laugh, after letting out a hardy chuckle he says "but you did great, Kasai" this causing the genin to snap out of his stupor.
The four then walk over the injured shinobi and attempt to help the best they can but make little progress. Almost ten minutes later the medical team arrives and relieves the group. Konohamaru who knows everyone there the best helps the medics get everything ready and gets them caught up on people's situations.
Hanabi, Hana, and Kasai gather together just away from the medic to both regroup and lookout. "You guys did great out there. But we need to be careful most of those were already wounded and next time we might not be so lucky." Hanabi dictates to the two genin.
"I mean ye we did pretty good and I am sure we can handle anything if we do it right" Kasai proclaims in a confidant manner.
"I- I don't know, something felt off in the fight" Hana mumbles uncomfortably.
"I understand Hana, next time before we get into a fight take a moment to breathe and get your emotions in check ok," Hanabi says in a comforting tone as she put a hand on Hana's shoulder.
Konohamaru runs over with a wave, after helping the last of his injured comrades onto a stretcher. "Hey guys, we just got word that we have taken out the last a flanking force that was attempting to move on ninja about a mile further into the valley, So good work."
With this news, a small wave of euphoria and pride hit the shinobi as all four grew beaming smiles that radiated across their faces. However, it was quickly stalled buy Konohamaru who wasn't smiling in the slightest as he says in a somber tone "But the forces up that way are getting hit hard, even with what seems like victories on the cliffs the front needs some more firepower or a lot on ninja are gonna die."
"So we go hit them just as hard right," Kasai says with a determined smirk.
"You guys do ye I am going back to heal up a bit and regroup with my team and some reinforcements." Konohamaru says with a thin smile "but I know you three won't let us down so good luck"
Konohamaru runs back after saying his goodbyes to the three shinobi and goes to the ready medics as they start moving the injured back to camp. The three shinobi look on with determined looks "let's go" Hanabi almost growls.
The three shinobi set off at high speeds "keep pace we can't afford to waste chakra" Hanabi orders.
"You got it." The two genin emphatically respond.
The shinobi run for several minutes the only noise is the ever-growing sounds of battle as they get closer. They spot an explosion go off within a minute from their position. Kasai yells "There!" as the three veer off in the direction the blast came from.
As they arrive they see six leaf shinobi all chunin side by side as in unison they yell out "Fire Release: Fireball Jutsu." With that six great balls of flame merge into a single attack and roars towards a group of twenty rogues. Another explosion goes off rocking the ground around them and sends a wave of force that pushes Hana and Kasai back a couple of feet while being over a couple of hundred meters away from the blast itself.
The blast turned the rogues to ashes through its heat and power. One of the six shinobi notice Hanabi and the others tuning around his blue hair waving in the wind. "Oh hey reinforcements have arrived, let's go t-" his speech cut off as tower-like flames left from the explosion are parted instantly as a large man easily 8-foot tall bursts through it like a flash and closes the distance between the flames and the six shinobi. The man with a single kick of his tree trunk-like leg, to the torso of the blue-haired shinobi all but turns the young ninja to paste killing him instantly. The wind pressure of the attack sending all of his teammates into the air.
Hanabi uses rotation to easily block the force and protect her, Hana and, Kasai. However, the scene of slaughter outside that protection is horrific the large man tears the chunin to pieces with sinister glee and malice. The final girl makes a run toward Hanabi in hopes of within the rotation. However just as she is about to arrive the large man appears grabbing the back of her head. His blood-soaked hand gripping her so tightly she feels like her head is about to explode. The blood curdling screams she lets out remind Hanabi of mear weeks ago when her own team was annihilated like this.
The man stands outside the rotation looking down to the three shinobi within. This bald head dripping with the blood of his victims, the towers of the rotation in a black martial arts style suit with the sleeves torn off. Tattooed onto the back of his hands are red Rinne Sharingan. "Let's play a little game shall we," the man says in a deep malicious growl.
Hana's blood begins to boil in hatred and her eyes flash a clear and dark purple. "You bastard, I - I will rip you to pieces" her threats only gaining a monstrous chuckle from the man.
"I like you little one, I can see why Wolf and the Archon took enough interest to give you those eyes" the large man snarls. "Anyway, the game we are gonna play is a simple one. I am gonna press this little bitches face into this little rotation" when he says this a further look of horror cross the faces of Kasai and Hanabi while Hana begins to get even angrier. "If you little Hyuga can kill your comrade with this technique, I will maybe let you three live, if not I will kill you all as slowly as I can."
As soon as he declares this he slowly moves the girl's face into the rotation as her cheek touches it the bone shatters and her flesh begins to be stripped away all the while the large man callously laughs. "Never again… Never again … Never" Hanabi begins to mutter her voice being drowned out by the man laughing and the girl's screams.
"What was that baby Hyuga, I have a hard time hearing over this bitch" The man smiles his razor-sharp teeth glisten with malicious intent.
"I SAID NEVER AGAIN!" Hanabi screams out instantly stopping the rotation and striking the man with blow after blow quickly forcing him to drop the girl and begin to be pushed back.
Hanabi begins to let all of her emotions out, the loss, the fear, the pain and, the hatred. With this, she rains down strikes upon the man. Her attacks hit his chakra and pressure points to weaken and cripple him. Her onslaught grows in intensity to the point she is attacking with over 60 strikes in a second each one with enough force that Hana and Kasai can feel the impact from behind her.
With the intensity of her onslaught, the man is pushed back bit by bit, Hanabi with a two-handed open palm strike to his chest takes the man off his feet sending him hurtling backward. The man lands onto his back and rolls onto his knees however just as he does so a flash of purple light engulfs his vision as Hana pulsing with violet electricity slams her knee into the bridge of his nose.
While this fight begins Kasai quickly grabs the injured chunin and leaps back to gain even greater distance. He runs with her held in his arms and places her against a rock. "Are you ok?" He asks in a worried tone as he assesses her torn-up face.
Placing her hand to the side of her head she channels a glowing green chakra into the wounds "I am a medic-nin, I will be ok thanks but go help your team." Kasai seeing that stands back up and looks back towards the battle.
Hana and Hanabi aren't attacking in unison but the speed of their simultaneous assaults seems to be making it impossible for the man to get to grips with the situation and ready himself. Kasai slowly moves forward to find an opening in the assault to add his own attacks. However, Hanabi and Hana's attacks seem to be growing in speed and intensity as they drive him even further back.
Hana kicks him in the chin, only for Hanabi punch him in the gut with a close-range strike. The two simply attack him with everything they have and seem to be winning at least at first glance. Kasai who still watching the onslaught unfold before him realizes that the attacks seem to be hurting the man but only slightly and are doing very little damage. Hanabi with her Byakugan active finally notices that her attacks haven't actually sealed his chakra points or at least they don't for long.
The two shinobi realize this too late as Hana leaps into the air gets ready her tanto and plunges it down to strike at the man's head. As she drives her blade down the man moves his mear inches to the side avoiding the strike. He follows this up with an uppercut to her abdomen, Hana folds around the strike and immediately coughs up blood onto the ground below. After a moment where the world seems to stop the true force of the strike impacts the young shinobi sending her dozens of meters into the air.
Hana falls back to the earth to be caught by Kasai. Still coughing and sputtering she growls through gritted teeth "what the hell was that."
Kasai places her back onto her feet "That was him holding back" he says sweat running down his brow.
Hanabi disengages the man and regroups with Hana and Kasi, "We need to hold him off until someone stronger arrives to help" she says beginning to formulate a plan.
The large man rolls his shoulder and cracks his neck in a mocking display. "I will let you come up with your little plan, your still gonna die" he threatens with terrifying killing intent.
The two genin begin to shake with fear but are snapped out of it by Hanabi "Listen I have faced worse than this bastard, together we can get through this." She says in an inspiring tone.
"Hana use your speed to put pressure on him Kasai your artillery and the heavy hitter, Intercept his attacks with pressure and chakra point strikes to limit their effectiveness at least temporarily. In those moments is when the two of you really hit with all you got alright" Hanabi dictates the plan to the two genin who nod along and take up positions.
"Let's get this show underway shall we kids," the man says with sinister intent in his almost animalistic voice.
Hana rushes forward striking at the man with a spinning back kick as she ducks under a wide swing. The man's chin is forced up so he is looking at the sky. Hanabi uses this to attack his throat to cut off his breathing at least temporarily, her lunging strike connects as her knuckles slam into his windpipe almost crushing it. This attack along with a dropping kick to his knee by Hana brings the monstrous man to his knees as his legs buckle.
Kasai uses this opportunity to use a sped-up version of the wind wall fireball combo that the two girls narrowly avoid. The to techniques all but merge into a premature scorch style jutsu. The man is completely engulfed in white-hot flames and the ground beneath him melts from the heat and shattered from the blast. This attack leaving a second crater as large as the one by the six chunin scares the ashen valley landscape.
Smoke rises from the crater as a silence falls over the battlefield. "Did we get him?" Kasai asks hopefully.
His question quickly gets an answer by laughing emanating from the crater. "You brats are fun, a Byakugan user, Scorch release user, and a baby Raijingan user. It's almost everything I could ask for a fun battle." The large man walks out of the crater with a beaming smile. The steam rising from his now bare chest being the only indication of an attack.
"How?" Kasai mutters in disbelief.
"You're a monster" Hana proclaims with the same shocked tone.
"No, I am Rai Narasu, one of the Six Sages Equal to Heaven. But you can just call me the Beast of Xian"
