Author Note - yo
So this chapter for the most part was kinda fun to right while aslo a pain when it came to the final part.
I had hoped to spread the story a bit more but decided that the next two chapters should be dedicated into a two parter for reasons you'll see when I upload them.
Also keep in mind my this is my first and hopefully not my last.
Chapter 3
Medic Nin pov
When word reached the hospital that Elder Danzo needed immediate aid I could only think of who could inflict said injuries to a veteran of two shinobi wars, but upon arrival I could inly think of how he was still alive. Most of his body was now covered in large gashes and claw marks. His clothing was nothing more than shredded cloth painted in red.
The near sight brought my other colleagues to gag and turn away, but now was not the time to for theatrics, for without our intervention he would probably not survive to see tomorrow let alone be able to continue working as council member. I pray we can save his life.
No-one's pov
Word spread quickly within the village about the brutal attack that had happened within the council chambers, many believing that the attack was unprovoked and unjust, other saw it as an opportunity to rise to power while the war hawk was incapacitated, but those who witnessed the display would only speak of the beast now wondering konoha freely and how she needed to be leashed for public safety.
However, to the newly arrived travelers returning home for the first-time years, they could only guess at the trouble they here now going to be wrapped up.
"It seems someone finally showed that bastard whose boss huh" spoke a man with white spiky hair reaching down to his knees, " I only wish I was there to congratulate the person myself" he added with a hint of pride in his voice.
"I just hope that the other two idiots don't dare ask me to heal him" a voice filled with much resentment spoke out from the blonde kunoichi, "let's just get this over with, I wish not to remain here longer than I have to" she continued " lets see what sensi wants"
"You haven't changed your mind I take it hime" the man asked increasing his pace to match the woman and black-haired girl.
"This place holds nothing but bad memories for me, and nothing can change that"
The trio continued their trip towards the hokage tower in complete silence while gaining the sight and awe of those they passed, and within a matter of minutes whispers rose all wondering what force had managed to summon the Sannin back home.
10 minutes later
Hiruzen pov
"Before you can ask no I was not the one to leave Danzo grasping to life" my gaze shifted from my former students and rested on the she wolf remaining still on the sofa to my left "that honor rests on some else".
The three standing in front of me where now shocked to find the Inuzuka clan head with her head held low and her clothing and hands covered in blood, hell if they had seen the look on Danzo's face when the she-wolf leaped from her seat fangs bared, I dare say they wouldn't even want to be in this room right now.
"To answer why you were summoned, it was to discuss your positions as god parents to Naruto Uzumaki" with those words where enough for Tsume to raise her head and start to growl and the Sannin as the trio before her merely began to tense up and prepare to fight.
It was Tsume who broke the silence which seemed to last for longer than it should have done "to think she named two of the legendary Sannin as our daughters god parents" she spat at the two "she would be ashamed at the both of you" tears began to rain from her eyes as she Shakenly finished the sentence.
It was Tsunade who spoke up, her voiced filled with regret " I know what I did was wrong but she is safer here then on the road with either me or Jiraiya" "and yet for the past year she has had more brushes with death than any shinobi alive" Tsume had now changed her tone where once grief had been anger now resided.
She continued but shifted her gaze upon the Sannin who winced at the anger swirling in her eyes "just the other day a group of five drunken civilians broke into the orphanage in an attempt to silence her cries, saying it would be a justice to the other children and the village" she stated her voice now showing the anger still lingering
"Is what she say true sensi" Jiraiya spoke I nodded my head in shame remember all the times I have had to change the staff in the orphanage or execute villages dumb enough to break what is now called the thirds law "kami forgive me" "Just be happy I'm not going to rip your throats out" She all but growled.
"If I so much as see, hear, or smell you anywhere near the pup know you'll suffer a fate worse than Danzo's" and with that said Tsume left me and my students in silence, I could already tell the two where more shocked than horrified at what they had just learnt.
The silence lasted for a good while until both of them had managed to will up enough courage to speak, but even then they kept their voices low, and only when so far as to ask me what they could do to make things right, to which I responded with telling them that until the child comes of age and has started her road to becoming a powerful kunoichi would they ever be able to mend the severed ties.
While it hurt for me to say it, they needed to know the truth, which was that from this day forward they where no longer considered the god parents of Naruto. Tsunade simply walked away her head held low, and her heart broken even more, Jiraiya on the over hand remained convicted in making sure that when the time was right he would make sure to train Naruto the same way he had Minato in an act of repent.
3 Years after Kyuubi attack
Tsume Pov
The recent 2 years where quite un-eventful after the Danzo incident and the arrival and departure of the Sannin, there were some small incidents which were mainly centered around Danzo trying to regain his foothold in the village while still bed ridden after I let out some pent up anger on the old fool, the upside was he hasn't tried to take as he puts it "control" of my pup.
While I didn't agree with the third on many things and was constantly pushing him to finally allow me to take her into my care, much to his dismay, however even he couldn't overrule the council anymore with the rules in place regarding orphans, and the fact that I no longer was on the council due to my outburst, made it even more difficult.
I was simply glad that the civilians where starting to let up in their abuse towards the pup, but what I was unaware of, was the secret plan being created to undermine not just the third law but also to make sure no one not even me could intervene with when the plan was enacted.
I've started on chapter 4 and if you think Danzo got off easy well lets say he's going to make another mistake and this time pay a lot bigger price for it.
Shit gonna hit the fan, fast and hard next chapter lookforward to it.
