Authors Note - yo

This chapter kinda pushed took some time to write, to be specific, coming up with how to handle Minato and Kushina arriving to stop the seal from breaking, but i think I handled it well enough

I have the next to chapter roughly finished, just working on a phew scenes, due to a major time jump between this and Chapter 6, lets say I going to be give Naruto or as she is going to called Naruko, some extremely op transfromation Jutsu's.

Chapter 5 – Night of the Blood Moon pt2

Tsume pov

How could they, to a child so young. The split seconded I felt the killer-intent leak out into the village I knew where and who it was coming from, what I had not expected was for the night sky to turn blood red and for everything that the eye could see to be washed in a crimson blaze.

The moment I landed into the clearing following after the hokage, my spirit all but shattered, lying within a crimson cocoon was a small girl, clothes shredded, multiples cuts along her body, that was only what I could see. As I approached, my heart all but broke, she was not even moving, kami why did this happen.

"Tsume watchout" before I could even react a tendril had lashed out toward me, the minute it connected I lost all sense of balance, my vision going dark. Just as fast as darkness came it was gone, my vision returning, the first thing I noticed was the coldness breathing through the air.

"Behind you young wolf" as a turned to face the source of the voice now echoing through the dimly lit sewer, I could hardly speak as two massive, predatorial eyes gleamed from behind a sealed gate. I did not even have the words to describe the sight before me, not only was I now face to face with the beast that ruined everything, but it was crying.

"I would like to talk more with the mother of my container, but she doesn't have much longer left" it was then that I noticed three of its tails where outside of the cage curled around a small object. "Naruto" without hesitation a jumped into the tails, tears running down my cheeks "why, why are you helping her"

"that is simple young wolf" she shifted her tails allowing more room for me to hold my pup, finally after 4 long grueling years, she was in my arms "she is as much your daughter as mine" "after what you DID" "Do you think I had a CHOICE" her once calm tone was replaced by sorrow and loss, "what happened that night was not by my doing nor did I have control, but that will have to wait till another time" she once again shifted her tails this time lifting both me and Naruto closer to the seal.

"what's your plan here fox, I hope it's not releasing you" my fear was all but confirmed with her next words "if you wish to save our child's life, you must get her to open the seal" "and how do I know this isn't just a ploy to destroy the village" even while I could all but feel her emotions leaking out, I just couldn't take the chance "I simply wish to save the child, with my help, I doubt she will live long enough to undergo the medical treatment she needs"

I could tell their was more to this than she was letting on, but even so if it was to save my pup I would do anything, "so what do you need me to do" no matter the price I was willing to pay it, as long as Naruto lives, no price was to high or so I thought.

Hiruzen pov

Things where starting to get complicated, not only had Naruto been forced out of the orphanage but she was also hunted down and nearly killed, now both her and Tsume where wrapped up in the chakra of the kyuubi, kami only knows what will happen next, "dog alert the other ANBU, no one and I mean no one is to get with 20 meters of this place" "hai Hokage-sama".

Kami knows what will happen if a major clan found out about this, hell if the Uchiha found out, my current fear is that know one takes this event in the wrong light, trying to push for more restrictions to be placed upon Naruto or for her to be handed to Danzo for training.

"Hokage-sama, the perimeter is set" dog was a quick as ever, "but many are starting to ask questions" of course they where going to ask questions, I would find it suspicious if they didn't after killer-intent of that caliber was unleashed, "hopefully this doesn't last much longer, I doubt many would understand what was happening" even I didn't know what was happening at the current moment.

As if answering a question no one asked, the charka forming around Naruto began to shift, enclosing more tightly around her tight form, even in this shade of red I could see the effect it was having on the child, her wounds began to heal but something felt off, as if this was only the beginning of something bigger. What was happening within the seal, I could only guess but whatever it was, it was working.

Kyuubi pov

I was thankful that Tsume could see reason, but also that she was able to persuade Naruto to unlock the seal, even in her current state the kit didn't show any fear or remorse for what was happening, but just as the seal was going to unlock, two familiar faces appeared, one I thought never to see again, another I wanted to tear to shreds.

"Naruto, oh kami what has happened to you" "please tell me your not trying to release the kyuubi out of anger, right Naruto" they looked the same way they did those phew years ago, but before I could even utter a word, Tsume practically tackled Kushina to the ground "Tsume, but how, this isn't possible", I couldn't but help chuckle at Minato's surprise at the two lovers embracing on the floor.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your little reunion but, the kit still needs help" the little love birds, instantly jumped to their feet each blushing a deep red, meanwhile Minato stood speechless not uttering a single word until, the sweet little kit spoke up "so who are you people, ya know" Kushina all but gushed at the fact her minor quirk had passed onto her daughter, much to Tsume's dismay.

Thankfully Tsume was the first to speak and much to both the miniature Kushina and Minato's shock, she came out with the cold hard truth, "well ya see pup me and this fiery red head are your mom's" but sadly this had the opposite effect that they had hoped for, first Minato all but blacked out, meanwhile Naruto just cried. Without even missing a beat both parents jumped to her side, embracing the small girl within a motherly hug.

"I wish I could stay and catch up, with the both of you but, times running out" as much as I wanted to allow for the small family to stay forever, Naruto was still in danger "your moms right, lets try opening that seal one more time, together" and without the slightest hesitation, the small trio reached out and the seal came undone, my chakra leaking into the child's own network.

"Kushina, I need you to apply a new seal around the new one, allowing for me to keep a steady flow into the young kit, Blonde if your done dreaming I need you keep the flow of chakra stable and to make sure the old seal doesn't break from the pressure"

Kushina was already on top her task by the time I had finished, Minato on the other hand, had to try and remember where he was, poor man. I just hope he can focus long enough to save Naruto's life.

Tsume pov

I would have never imagined that the next time I got to see my fiery mate, would be the same day our daughter's life is being save by the kyuubi, and that as a bonus I could finally punch the bastard that but our daughter into this position.

The scene that was now unfolding in front of me was shocking to say the least, not only was the kyuubi willing sharing its charka with Naruto, but both Kushina and Minato where helping it accomplish this task.

The next thing I heard was screaming, so loud that I winced in pain, while slowly realizing that the scream was coming from the pup "wait somethings not right, she's in pain" but no one answered me, they where to focused on the task at hand, "Kushina we should stop this, can't you hear her screams" "yes I can, and as much as I hate to do this to my own child, and one still so young, it has to be done".

She was right but this felt like to much, but then I noticed something wrong with Naruto, her hair shifted into a snow white colour, a pair of fox ears sprouted on top of her head, and from the bottom of her spine, a single tail grow, its fur a shade of white with a red tip.

Her screams died down and the kyuubi dissipated the flow of chakra to her, allowing her to drop into the arms of Kushina, "mama" "Its ok little one, your safe now, thank you Kurama" she spoke those words while facing the kyuubi, so the beast does have a name after all "you know I would do anything for her, after that night, I owe her that much at least".

Of course Minato was the next to speak, his pride all but shattered at this point, "so I was right, you only married me because I was the hokage" I could tell his words where all but hollow at this point but that didn't stop Kushina from handing me Naruto and whacking him upside the head, "ya know, your such an idiot sometimes" and she was right, while he might have been Hokage that didn't mean he wasn't stupid at times.

"I did love you but more like a brother, while Tsume just seemed to complete me, ya know" she was right, every time we got together it was so hard for us to part, let alone get any sleep "but why all the secrecy, why not just tell me from the start" he also had a good point.

"to tell the truth Minato it was because of the prejudice we would have had to face down the line, not every one is open to two women starting a family, hell before we started dating, I was married to that arsehole of man, and well we all know how that went" yeah I nearly killed him after finding out he was cheating "when all was said and done, Kushina was there for me, and well one thing lead to another".

At this point the two had started to fade, "I guess this is it, well it was nice to finally learn the truth, I wish you the best of luck going forward, Inuzuka-san" and with that he vanished, Kurama -still trying to process that- simply chuckled "Kushina, I am sorry I couldn't keep our promise but know, the kit will be fine under mine and Tsumes care" "thank you Kurama-chan"

Before she could disappear entirely, I reached forward and pressed my lips to hers, feeling her deepen the kiss, god how I missed this. Once we broke the kiss, she simply thanked me and asked me to never let this happen again to which both me and Kurama replied, "let them try" and with tears down her cheeks and a wide smile she faded.

"so, what now Kurama-chan" I could feel the stare bearing down on me, "that's quite simple, wake up".

With a flash a colour, my eyes opened to the pale glow of the moon and cold clinging to my back, I raised my head to look around, laid beside me was the now fox girl Naruto her hair blending into the snow.

"I take it, this means mission complete" I moved my gaze towards Hiruzen his visage that of relief and worry. "you could say that, don't worry about Kur- I mean the Kyuubi, she's still held tight within the seal for now" " I see, and what about Naruto's new appearance" well it was kind of obvious, "consider it a small price to pay, to make sure the kyuubi doesn't wipe out the entire village" we both chuckled at that.

2 days later

No-one pov

A great many questions where asked about the disappearance of the demon brat, some pointed to the fact that the head of the Inuzuka clan had been hold up within the clan compound for the better part of two days. Of course, none had the heart to go and complain in person after what had happened to Elder Danzo who had yet to fully recover.

Other questions where aimed to the quick and public executions of 6 civilian and 1 Jounin the following day after the blood moon, while it wasn't revealed to the public at large many had guessed it was down to the demons disappearance, if it wasn't for the Thirds law a celebration would have been held. And yet they could not help but feel uneasy, as if the demon were yet to fall into the Shinigami's grasp.

Meanwhile in the peaceful abode of Tsume Inuzuka, a family was starting their seconded day of living with each other, it had been hard at first for Naruto to accept that after years of believing to be alone she suddenly had an older sister and brother, but also a loving mother, who practically smothered her every chance she got.

While her physical appearance had changed, inside she was still an adventurous child and couldn't wait to begin training to become a ninja like her mother's before her and prove the village how much they had fucked up.

Finaally I can breathe, sweet kami this took some time to type, although I think down the line I might return to these first chapters and make some changes, but thats in the future, right now i need to focus of the 8 year time jump and the changes it brings.

Tsume: So your telling me, you made a deal with the Kyuubi

Kushina: Well it wasn't a deal persay, ya know

Tsume: ok, so explain why she thinks Naruto is her kit

Kushina: well she can't have a child, and well I kinda said she could share ours

Tsume: if I didn't love you I'd think your nuts
