Deku was raised up by the rainbow light. He was lulled to sleep despite rising at a high speed. When he woke up, he was laying on dirt, surrounded by yellow grass. He stood up, and saw a few other people in the distance in several directions.

'Is this still the tower?' He asked himself. Suddenly, a box popped out of nowhere, in the sky above them. "Mic test, Mic test, One, two, three! One, two! Hello everyone! All the regulars who have made it to this floor, we sincerely welcome you to the second floor, Evankhell's floor. It is also called the floor of tests. Here, we carry out the final test to see whether you are qualified to go up the tower! Well, I will explain the details to you later, first, let's start the first test! It's been a long time since we warmed up. The first test is simple." Deku readied himself for the details of the test. "I will explain the rules so listen carefully! The rule for the first test is as follows! There are 400 regulars here! Narrow that down to 200. Try by any means necessary!" Deku's heart stopped.

'Narrow it down? Does that mean...Killing them?'

"The test ends when the number of regulars reaches 200! Ready? Begin!"

'I can't kill people! I'm supposed to be a hero! Heroes don't kill!' He thought to himself. However, before he could think any more, a gunshot sounded and a bullet landed next to him. He quickly powered up full cowling and ran. 'I don't like this, I don't wanna let these people die, and I certainly won't kill them myself.' He ran into a wall of a man who had one eye and was incredibly muscular. Unlike the villain, Muscular, his one eye seemed to be the only one he ever had, as the single eye socket was between where eyes should be. This man was a cyclops. The man turned around, and Deku, Frightened for his life, still got in a fighting stance. The giant threw several punches at him, which he dodged, before the gun went off again and killed the man. The blood slightly splattered on Deku. He looked over to where the gunshots came from, and he saw the sniper aiming for him, before being thrown off the cliff by another hulking figure. Deku decided then and there. 'I can't kill them, but I have to let them die!' He powered up full cowling again and fled. He avoided as many people as possible, but he was soon distracted by the sight of people floating before slamming to the ground. 'That wasn't high enough to kill them...Wait...I know that power.' He sped over to where the bodies were floating. When he got there, he was both delighted, and infuriated at the sight. It was his friend, Ochako Uraraka, but she was being cornered against a rock by a man with blue skin, wielding a spear. He made a motion to stab her, when Deku charged toward him and broke his spear with a kick.

"Deku!?" Ochako shouted as the man with the spear ran off.

"Uraraka!" Deku exclaimed. She hugged him, crying.

"Deku, I was so scared, I thought I was gonna die!" He didn't expect this kind of reaction from her of all people, but now was no time for a reunion. Now was the time to run.
"I know, I know, Uraraka, but we have to run if we don't wanna be killed!" He took her hand, and she nodded, tears still in her eyes. She wiped them away and they ran.

"Visible mode!" She said, while running. Deku looked back to see an orb appear beside Uraraka.

"What's that?" He asked.

"You didn't get one? They call it a pocket! It's used to keep track of stuff like time, or in this instance, how many people are left!" They kept running until they found a rock to hide behind. They slid to a halt behind the rock and crouched down.

"How many are left, then?" Deku asked.

"It's constantly going down. 267, no, 263."

"That was fast. These people...they're animals."

"Yeah...and we're just letting them die."

"Well, think of it this way, they're doing it of their own accord, and I don't think we could stop them. Plus I get the feeling we'll never leave if the number doesn't hit 200."

"Good point, I just thought we were heroes, supposed to save as many people as possible." Uraraka lamented.

"Trust me, I feel the same. The problem is I don't think we can save anyone while staying alive ourselves in this place. Do you have any idea where we are?"

"The guy just called it the tower."

"Same here. So what's the number at now?"

"234."

"Well, I see someone had the same idea as I did." A voice interrupted their conversation. They looked over to the voice and got in defensive stances. They saw a man about their age with spiky blonde hair. He wore a red shirt and black sweatpants. He held his hands up in surrender. "Whoa, whoa, I'm not gonna hurt you. Not even sure if I could if I tried." He held his hand out. "I'm Yamamura Keiji. You can just call me Keiji." Deku took his hand and shook it.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me Deku." Keiji held his hand out to Uraraka as well.

"I'm Ochako Uraraka, nice to meet you." She said as she shook his hand.

"Alright, so you guys are hiding here, does that mean you're weak like me?"

"Sure, let's go with that." Deku said. "Uraraka, how many people?"

"209, 205, 202…" the Box from earlier made a noise, before speaking.

"Mic test, everyone stay where you are! The first test is over now! All remaining regulars, stop what you're doing and listen carefully! Any regulars fighting from now on will be eliminated! The 200 regulars who passed the first test, congratulations to all of you! It may seem a bit rushed, but a second test will be carried out right away!"

"Great, what now?" Keiji asked.

"Ha, don't be so disappointed! The next test is really simple! Here is the challenge! Getting teammates! There are 200 regulars remaining! Among them, find two regulars to be your teammates! The test is to make a team of three! For your reference, we're giving you a five minute time limit!"

"Well, that sounds easy. We've got three people right here!" Deku said.

"Wait, you want a weakling like me to be on your team?" Keiji asked.

"Yeah! You're the only guy we've met in this place who seems decent." Uraraka said. Keiji hugged the two before they all sat down and waited for the time to run out. They held hands as they waited, assuming that that was a prerequisite for being selected.

"Those who have made a team, keep holding onto each other! The three people holding onto each other at this moment are considered a team! You'll be sent to the next test spot!"
