Once the teams were transported to cages of some kind, Kaba spoke.

"Now that we're all here, I will explain the crown game. It is, simply enough, a game to steal the crown. The team that holds the crown at the last moment is the winner. It may seem simple, but the rules are a bit complicated. The game consists of five ten minute rounds. In the first round, up to five teams can participate. The team holding the crown at the end of the round moves on. The next round, four new teams can enter in addition to the winners, who still have the crown. The winners will be the ones who have the crown at the end of the fifth round.

"If you want to participate in a round, press the button in your rooms and you will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. There is a way to end the round early, and that is to sit on the throne, wearing the crown before five minutes passes. The round ends and their team moves on. However, if there was a winning team at the end of the round, that team may keep the crown, but the one who sat on the throne must stay there and keep the crown, or they will be eliminated from the game." Deku looked thoughtful, while his teammates looked at him, questioningly.

"Although there are a lot of rules and restrictions, the point is like I said. The team with the crown at the last moment is the winner." The teams got ready. "Oh, and one more thing, another team from another test spot will be participating, it's a long story. Well, check the details in the instruction booklet next to the buzzer. Now let's start the game!" Keiji got up to press the button, but Izuku held him back. "I will count down from five, and the teams that want to participate must press the buzzer! Five! Four!" A team buzzed in. "Three!" Another team buzzed in. "Two! One! Alright, the count is over, the first round of the crown game starts now!"

It was Yoshikata's team and a team with two men and a gender ambiguous creature. The first man had a wife beater and jeans on, and had a shaved head. He was fairly muscular, and he had a giant butcher's knife. The second was a short man wearing a tracksuit, and had a knife. His hair was covered by a baseball cap. The last was an ape in all but intelligence, as he spoke to the other team.

"You fools will regret this." He said with a grin. They all got ready for battle, but Ai stepped toward the opposing team. She readied her sword.

"You morons don't get in my way." She said.

"What?!" Yoshikata asked. The opposing team got angry.

"Cocky bitch!" Said the ape, lunging for the girl, before being stopped by the flat of her blade and punted away. Immediately she blocked the butcher's knife, cutting right through it, and kicking the man in the wife beater into the opposite wall. The short man was shaking, but took out his knife. Ai stared at him, causing him to drop the knife. She then rushed him and punched him into the ground. The ape was the only one to get up from the assault and he rushed her again. She tried to slice him this time, but the ape grabbed the blade by the flats and tried desperately to keep it from slicing him down the middle. He eventually pushed her off and backed away. "Get up you idiots!" He said, looking at the out cold figures of his teammates.

"Funny, the only one who can fight is the monkey man." Ai taunted.

"I'm no monkey!" he said, lunging at her again, this time losing his arm to a slash by Ai. Ai then slowly walked up to the throne and grabbed the crown, putting it on and jumping up to the seat of the giant throne, sitting down. A loud buzzer rang.

"Since Ms. Ai sat on the throne before five minutes elapsed, this round's winner is the team of Tobe Ai, Shiro Yoshikata, and Yusuke Kida!" Kaba said over the microphone.

"Huh, I expected her to be strong, but not that strong. You were right Deku, we shouldn't participate." Keiji commented.

"That's not what I was saying. I meant we should wait. It's really obvious that the first two or three rounds are the most dangerous. However, rounds four and five are also dangerous because we may not be able to participate, so round three, we'll try and get in."

"Yeah, but why would we join at all? You said you guys are weak like I am." Keiji pointed out.

"If we don't try, we don't have a chance. If we do try, no matter how small, we do have a chance." Deku explained.

"Oh…" Keiji resigned himself to Deku's decision.

"Uraraka, you agree?" Deku looked to Uraraka, to see she was spacing out. "Uraraka?" She snapped her head toward Deku.

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry what was the question?" She asked, embarrassed.

"Uraraka, are you okay?" Deku asked.

"Oh, sorry, I'm just thinking about our friends back home." She said.

"Oh...I haven't thought about them for a while...I've been too caught up with these tests. Until we find out how to get back, We shouldn't think about them, it'll only sour our moods." Deku responded.

"You're right, I just wonder if they are looking for us right now."

"What are you guys talking about? Everything can be done if we go up the tower, so if we go up the tower, you guys will probably find whatever you're talking about."

"Yeah. You're right. Thanks Keiji!" Uraraka said.

"Shall we start the next round?" Kaba said.

-Heroes of the Tower-

The second round went by rather uneventfully. Yoshikata's team kept the crown and the throne, and he and Kida turned out to be really strong, taking out a team each.

"Well, It's time for us to get ready." Deku said. "We'll be going up against Yoshikata's team, so Keiji, I need to get a feel for your abilities. Can you at least defend yourself?"

"I'm good at dodging attacks, most of the time."

"Alright. Uraraka. How long can you use your quirk without side effects?" Deku asked.

"About 5 minutes, give or take." Uraraka replied.

"The third round of the crown game will begin shortly. Those who want to join, press the buzzer before the countdown is over. Five!" Kaba announced.

"Good...My broken hand may be a problem, but I've got three other limbs so I can do this."

"Four!"

"Wait, what's a quirk?" Keiji asked.

"Three!"

"Wait, your hand is broken?" Uraraka said.

"I'll explain later!" Deku said as he pressed the buzzer.

"Two! One!" Three new teams joined this round, including Deku's team. "Let's begin!" Deku powered up Full Cowling, and rushed a team, punching and kicking three men out cold.

"What's this…?" Kaba asked herself, the mic turned off. Uraraka weaved through the second new team, touching them with all five fingers so that they floated in the air." Keiji had no time to stare in awe, as he needed to dodge Kida and Yoshikata, somehow able to dodge all of their attacks. Time seemed to slow down just a bit in his eyes, as he twisted and turned to dodge attacks. Uraraka held her ten fingers against each other.

"Release!" she said, and the three members of the team she made float, crashed to the ground, leaving them out cold. Deku and Uraraka looked at each other and nodded. Uraraka headed to the battle between Keiji and the other two, while Deku went to take the crown from Ai. He stood before the throne and jumped up to it, trying to knock her off it. She blocked his kick with the flat of her blade, and both were pushed in opposite directions. She was still sitting on the throne, so she was still in the game. Deku came back to the throne and Ai stood up, ready to fight. Deku's foot and Ai's sword clashed. Deku powered up full cowling a bit more, roughly to thirty five percent, and kicked the sword again, launching it out of Ai's hand. She was shocked, so shocked that she didn't see Deku's fist coming toward her.

"Ahh!" She yelled as she fell off the throne.

"The team of Ai, Yoshikata, and Kida has been disqualified due to Ai leaving the throne!" Kaba announced. Yoshikata and Kida were shocked, but reluctantly dragged Ai back to their room.

"Get the crown, Keiji!" Uraraka exclaimed.

"Why me?" Keiji asked.

"Do you want to fight more?" Uraraka asked, knowingly.

"Getting the crown." He relented. He ran over to where the crown fell off of Ai's head, took it, and climbed up the throne, sitting on it.

"The team of Midoriya, Uraraka, and Keiji has won the round by sitting on the throne with the crown before five minuted passed!" Kaba said over the speakers. A hooded figure in one of the rooms spoke to his teammates.

"Next round, protect the green haired one's team. Once it's us and them, we'll fight them.

"Why protect them?" One teammate asked.

"'Cause when it's time...I wanna beat that Deku to the ground myself!" the figure under the hood smirked.
