Chapter 10
Over the year, Mildred had turned 18, and she told everyone she was going to do the spell that night. Miss Pentangle stopped being her school's headmistress and appointed someone to take over her place was a really nice witch called Miss Alma Hiccup. Mildred tried the spell, but she said something wrong, and it didn't work. Mildred got so upset but cheered up when Hecate, Pippa, Ada, and the Great Wizard told her they would help her try again.
Ada, the great wizard, Pippa, the teachers except for Miss Bat and Algernon and Hecate, stood around in a circle with Mildred, and they all said the spell with Mildred, and it went like this.
Immortality spell. Instructions
Draw symbol first (growing tree bulb with infinity symbol through it)
Pour water into a cup.
Light a black candle, place in the middle of the symbol
Put salt around you
Start chanting
Spell
Gods and goddesses
Please listen to us from now on.
Immortal we shall be, we will stop aging.
We cannot be killed no matter what
We are banned from dying.
We can survive through anything.
Nothing can hurt us
This is what we want. This is our wish.

They chant this 4 times.
Binding chant
You are one. I am one. We are one.
Everyone started glowing, and the spell finally worked, and everyone hugged each other Mildred was so happy that she grabbed Hecate by her dress and pulled her up close to her and kissed her right on the lips in front of everyone, and Hecate kissed her back. They ended up getting everything ready for Miss Bat and Algernon's wedding. A week later, they had their wedding, and they went on their honeymoon.
One afternoon Mildred was getting something from Miss Cackle's desk while they were at the council meeting with the teachers, Hecate, and the Great Wizard when she felt a spell hitting her. She looked over the room and felt her eyes drawn to the photo that held Agatha and Miss Gullet.
She saw that they weren't in the frame anymore. She felt another spell hitting her and finally noticed Agatha and Miss Gullet standing in the room with her. She felt a pulse of magic from her and her two companions Elio and Azura came while Elio was holding them back by shooting his fiery breath at them. Azura went to Mildred's shoulder, and they flashed away with Elio following them. Agatha and Miss Gullet fled after Mildred had left with Elio and Azura.
The council members, teachers, Ada, Hecate, Pippa, and the Great Wizard were surprised when they saw Mildred and Elio, and Azura. Hecate didn't care what anyone said. She ran to Mildred and hugged her to her body. Mildred finally said, "Agatha and Miss Gullet have escaped from the photo frame in your office Miss Cackle." Everyone looked at each other when they felt magic being used.
They saw that Mildred started to glow, and then all of a sudden, a big pulse of magic came out of her, and it went around the room, and then it went away.
Ada had to tell the council about Mildred and Hecate being soulmates finally. Mildred was the protector of all witches and wizards. She was also the goddess of magic and the goddess of all the elements. They were all surprised about how powerful Mildred was.
When everyone looked back at Mildred, they saw the pain on her face. They all stood in a circle around her except for Hecate. She just sat down, holding on to Mildred. Ada grabbed a glass of water for Mildred, sat it in front of Mildred, and went back into the circle. Everyone started chanting.

Everyone saw the cup glowing from the spell, and Hecate picked it up and helped Mildred drink the water. Everyone saw the pained look on her face start to go away. Hecate and Mildred got up, and Hecate kissed Mildred while everyone smiled, happy that Mildred was now alright.
While everyone gathered around Mildred, they all saw a flash of magic. Where the green magical orb landed and after the light from it disappeared they saw a centaur in the room with them she had beige skin, long blonde hair, green eyes, brown top on and the bottom part was dark brown she also had a bow and arrow set on her back. She looked at Mildred when she spotted her a bowed.
Another magical orb landed, but this time it was a pearl color. When the light disappeared, they saw a pegasus there. It was pure white, and so was the wings, and it had purple eyes. It bowed to Mildred.
Another magical orb came along, and it was a black and sapphire swirl one, and when the light disappeared there standing was a beautiful thunderbird it had blacky blue and light blue and pale blue feathers and sapphire eyes it bowed to Mildred as well.
Two more magical orbs came, and one was cerulean blue and fuchsia sea egg, and the other one was a navy blue and violet sea egg. The first egg hatched, and it was a sea dragon. It was blue and had amethyst eyes. The other egg hatched, and it was a water horse, and it was medium blue and had violet eyes. Mildred somehow knew the others couldn't understand the animals, so she started to chant an animal talking spell.
