The sun was setting behind the city buildings, reflecting orange rays of light. Vocaloid music was on low volume for background noise. Bex can recognize the song playing, "Rolling Girl", it's her favorite. She was bullied and still is being attacked either by cyber bullies or by the bullies in her mind. There are many interpretations to the song, but the one thing they have in common is that Miku is in pain just like Bex. Funny thing is, she's okay with it. It helps remind her that she's still alive and is human. All the bullying she faces is welcomed with open arms. But she fears one day, the heart she's been given will fail to accept further pain and shatter in such a way it cannot be fixed. What would become of her then? Bex doesn't want to think about that further.

At last, the hospital was in sight! There, both of the Nurse Mikus, will be able to properly attend to Bex's wounds. By now the blood loss has caused her to pass out which is perfect if she doesn't want to feel the stitching happening. Once they're parked, Nurse Miku hauls the girl on a stretcher and races to the nearest vacant room in the building. Spacey Nurse Miku gathers everything her co-worker needs like stitches, fresh bandages, blood for a blood transfusion, the works. Nurse Miku begins the stitching while Spacey Nurse Miku prepares the IV for the blood transfusion. Bex is fortunate to have the most common blood type: 0-.

Once it was done, all the two nurses could do was wait for her to wake up. In the meantime, they can attend to other patients. Police Miku and her crew are formulating a plan to rescue Kevin and the other poor souls forcefully devoted to Sadistic Miku. This witch knows the whereabouts of her slaves, knows the ins and outs of the factory, and manipulates everyone there to work nonstop. She thinks no one can say, "no" to her cute face.

"Do you think storming the factory would overwhelm her?" a Miku officer asked.

"Perhaps, but she's got hostages and if we fail to meet her demands, it's over." Police Miku said, desperate for an efficient rescue plan.

Sadistic Miku can electrocute every slave in the building if she wanted, rendering the Secret Police Force's plans a failure. Angel Miku is powerful, but she isn't godlike. She can't defeat Sadistic Miku by simply deleting her; she'll just come back. So, what are they to do?

"It's evident we cannot truly defeat her," Police Miku reluctantly agreed. "But if we can negotiate a 'trade'-"

"Are you implying that you'll sell your soul to her?" an officer asked.

"Not exactly…"

Police Miku had a brilliant plan in mind, but if it fails, everyone and perhaps the Secret Police Force will perish. But what other choices do they have? Countless people have suffered enough from this witch as it is. This factory must be shut down permanently!

As the police rush over to the factory, Bex slowly regains consciousness in the hospital. Nurse Miku takes notice after the girl yawns and checks on her.

"How are you feeling?" she asked.

"I ache and hurt all over." Bex winced. "It doesn't look like I'll be going home anytime soon."

Nurse Miku sighed knowing this was true, but she kept her perky persona about. When a patient sees their caretaker in good spirits, it'll help assure them that everything will be okay even if that may not be the case.

"Can I run a quick checkup?" she asked.

"That may not be a bad idea," Bex said, fixing her posture. "Just be gentle, the wounds are still tender."

The nurse nodded and proceeded to check her patient's temperature. It was normal, which is to be expected, unless Bex's wounds were infected. Checking her blood pressure would be painful at this point, but she wanted to power through it. In the end, it was a little above normal because of the pain she's in. Nurse Miku then listened to Bex's heart which sounded off beat. Her lungs sounded fine though which is good considering the factory's toxic atmosphere.

"That's fine," she said, attempting to smile. "I just have what's called PVCs."

"I see, thanks for informing me." Nurse Miku smiled. "Does it hurt much?"

Bex lowered her smile and turned her gaze to the floor. "All the time," she answered. "Not a day goes by when I don't feel pain." She felt tears form in her eyes, but she forcefully held them back and sloppily painted on a smile.

"Sorry, I shouldn't be saying these things." Bex giggled. "Pay no mind to my rambli-"

Her words were stopped abruptly when Nurse Miku wrapped her arms around Bex. She was gentle, yet firm with her embrace.

"It's okay to cry!" she said, crying herself. "You do know that, right?"

"Please, not another word." Bex said, trying to fake her way out of this. "You've got a job to do."

The nurse let go to see her patient eye to eye. It was clear she was hiding something.

"Yes, and that's to take care of you." Nurse Miku said, wiping away her tears. "I don't just want to treat the wounds on your body, but on your heart too."

"Please stop-you shouldn't care for me this much!" Bex sobbed. "Why did you save me instead of anyone else in that blasted factory?!"

The best reason she could give was that Bex was on the verge of death while everyone else has a better chance at survival. Regardless, it didn't satisfy her. She doesn't want people to look back at this crazy story and see that she's obviously the Mary Sue in it. Nurse Miku, in character, does care for others, so would that make Bex not the Mary Sue she thinks she is?

"Don't worry, Police Miku is working to get the others to safety." Nurse Miku informed her. "In the meantime, get some rest. You've been very brave today, remember that."

"As if," Bex scoffed. "Anyone can go through what I have easily!"

Nurse Miku didn't bother to argue so she left her patient to cool off. It was going to be okay, it had to be. To keep her mind off of her injuries, Bex turns her focus to the TV showcasing old Vocaloid PVs. Watching them made her feel all kinds of emotions that it caused her to uncontrollably sob. She remembers a time when she was happy, hopeful, and alive. But those beliefs were nothing more than illusions, a fool's dream.

"Is it wrong to be happy?" she asked herself. "Is it wrong to hope for a miracle?"

Bex hadn't felt so vulnerable in ages; she's kept her heart under lock and key to avoid feeling petty human emotions. The truth is though, they are a part of her and need to be treated with care. Why else would we have counselors?

But I think we're getting side tracked here, Police Miku and the others surround the factory. With a megaphone, she shouts, "We have the place surrounded! Come out with your hands up!" Sadistic Miku opens the gates and gets in the officer's face.

"You'll leave if ya know what's good for you!" she taunted the other Miku. "With the press of this button, I can electrocute everyone in the factory."

"But then you'll have no more workers." Police Miku grinned. "So if YOU know what's good for you, you'll come quietly."

Out of the witch's sight, Angel Miku quickly deactivates the neck braces on each prisoner. However, Sadistic Miku can sense that and races to stop her. Only a handful had been freed so other Miku officers led them out to safety. Kevin wanted to help Angel Miku, but he's well aware that if he interferes he'll only get in the way. All of this was too much to bear for him; seeing his idol, two of them no less, fight to the death. He thought only one Miku existed, but dozens, maybe hundreds?

"Shut down this factory!" Angel Miku demanded. "You're hurting innocent lives!"

"But we need music to survive!" Sadistic Miku argued. "We'll die if I do!"

Is that really true? Do all Mikus need music to survive? Angel Miku ponders this for a moment; no other Miku has ever died from "music starvation", so is Sadistic Miku the only one who absolutely needs music? If not, then what is her gain? Exactly why are there so many Mikus?

"Producers, fans, they multiplied us." Sadistic Miku said, stopping the fight. "I am but a fraction of that virtual pop star and I live my life based on the song that created me. Not all Mikus live like I do, but what would happen if we all merged into one Miku?"

Angel Miku started to piece everything together; in order to save everyone, she must accept this demon as herself. Not all parts of us are pretty, but we must face them in order to put an end to the conflict within. Angel Miku doesn't want to be a killing machine and force others into labor. But she'll embrace the fact she did it, confess, forgive, and move on.

"I get it," she smiled. "Sadistic Miku, we are one in the same. I can hardly find it in my heart to forgive your-our crimes, but we must in order to end this madness. With that said, I forgive you."

Sadistic Miku's being merged with Angel Miku's causing her to keel forward in pain. She flashed from white to black that soon became grey. It was an ugly color, but the picture isn't quite finished yet. Soon, the other Miku's embraced this revelation and merged with the one Miku. It was overwhelming to take it all in at once, but the diva was coming to life. She was full of color, she was Miku. At least, for the most part.

"Miku-chan?" Kevin said, helping his idol get on her feet. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, thank you." Miku smiled. "But we're not done yet, other Mikus are out there and I must accept them."

This was all a bit too much, but Kevin and the others understood what was going on. Miku is in pieces and she must face herself to become whole. At the end of the day, everyone knows that she's lovable, cute, sassy, cheerful, kind, and emotional. No matter what sins she's committed, we're all willing to forgive her and help her move on.
