Hey…..it's me, Wilson. I understand that I've been missing for quite a few months, but who cares about that noise? You all read the title of the story, so you should know what to expect. So without further ado and wasting any time, let's get right into it.
Eggman was fed up with Sonic's antics and wanted him gone, for good. He knew there was no way he'd be able to kill this hedgehog and he has tried, believe me, he has. He flew into his base, covered in black and his body was smoking, likewise with his Eggmobile, which seemed to be struggling to stay afloat. He flew in through the ceiling door and it closed behind him. Orbot and Cubot had seen this and started to greet him.
"Hello Doctor! How did it go? Did you defeat Sonic this time?" Orbot asked a dumb question. Frustrated, Eggman had climbed out of his Eggmobile and started to speak.
"Oh yes. I killed that hedgehog! I just so happen to look like I was brutally defeated again…..idiot." Eggman snapped as he began to walk out of the room into a main hall, with his hands behind his back. Orbot had gotten the memo and started to walk behind Eggman, but Cubot was a bit…….slower. He was walking with the boss, but started to speak.
"Good job, boss! You can finally drink the victory wine!" Cubot replied. Normally, Eggman would facepalm, but right now, he was way too angry for that. He had another plan to take down this cocky rodent. He had been working on this for months, but still tried to defeat Sonic so he wouldn't have to risk the hedgehog getting suspicious. Today, the machine was finally gonna be complete. He had then walked into a room, by entering a passcode. He always made sure his robots covered their eyes as he didn't tell a single living soul about this.
Once he entered the code, he walked into the door. Strangely enough, the door shut behind him.
"What? I've never implemented that? Whatever, onto the machine." He said to himself out loud. There was no sound that you could hear outside the lab, as he was serious about keeping this thing a secret to any and every soul…..or soulless robot. He walked down some stairs to a giant white donut….or rather ring shaped object. It was big enough to fit a car in the middle. It also had wires and a PC attached to it.
"That dumb hedgehog. I bet he was wondering where these all went." Eggman spoke aloud again before pressing a button to open a container that contained 6 chaos emeralds….wait, these weren't the chaos emeralds Sonic always found! These were the Sol Emeralds! Before Eggman could laugh, villain like, a pipe had fallen on the floor behind him and he looked straight up to see what caused it. He had seen nothing.
"I've really got to work on the structure of this lab….anyway….the Sol Emeralds. Sonic thinks he's so clever, destroying all my machines, foiling all my plans and making snarky jokes while he did it. Ha! He's gonna be shocked when I get the last laugh, ho ho ho ho ho! With this new machine, I can send him ANYWHERE I want!" He had said before typing in some code on his computer and the white ring object had turned on. Eggman had then also turned a notch on his mouse and the machine had shown a weird land through the portal.
"I can send him to the mushroom kingdom." Eggman told himself before turning another notch and showing yet another strange land.
"I can send him to dreamland.." He said once again.
"I can even send Sonic to Minecraft, HO HO HO HO HO" Eggman laughed maniacally. The only thing that the doctor needed now was a way to lure Sonic and his friends into his base. Then a lightbulb came up above his head. He had looked up a bit in fear.
"Okay that is really unhealthy. I have got to see a real doctor about this." Eggman referred to the lightbulb before starting to walk out from the room. His plan was coming into effect immediately. Getting rid of Sonic wasn't gonna be enough. He had to get rid of everyone and he had the right idea as to how. He'd have to pick them off one by one and he already designed a perfect plan for it.
Little did he know, there was a rat in the lab, or rather a bat. Rouge was up and above the doctor when he walked into the secret lab. She had every intention of stealing the Sol Emeralds for herself, but seeing as Eggman seemed to have one of those "Video Game sized plots/plans", she knew what was more important for now. She also was smart enough to not just snatch the Sol Emeralds out. The doctor definitely booby-trapped everything that had something to do with the machine. She decided to play it safe, turn on her cell phone and call Sonic and Tails to warn them.
The two were at Tails' place. Tails and Sonic were being bros and playing "Super Punch Bros: Perfection" with each other. This was the fifth game in the series and they loved that it had characters from multiple different franchises they enjoyed and didn't know. Sonic was playing as a purple character. He was short and projectile heavy and was reading Tails' sword fighter character's every move. They were having lots of fun and Sonic was about to make his character recover but someone rung them up. Sonic's character lost the game.
"Ha! Rule Number 1, never get distracted!" Tails teased.
"Ahh, whatever. Best two out of three!" Sonic said before the phone rang again.
"Who's calling anyways?" Sonic asked before instantly zooming and grabbing the phone.
"Hello! This is an automatic voice message system…" Sonic started before getting cut off almost immediately.
"I don't have time for this, Sonic!" Rouge said on the cellphone.
"Rouge?" Sonic asked, which made Tails turn around in confusion. She only called when she needed something, or when Eggman was planning something big. Sonic had turned the speaker on and walked the phone over next to Tails so they could both listen and talk.
"I think Eggman is planning something big. Take a look at this." She said before starting a video call, showed Sonic the machine and then zoomed in on the Sol Emeralds. Sonic and Tails both instantly jumped up.
"Eggman has the chaos….no….the Sol Emeralds!?" Sonic asked. Tails was more interested in the big portal looking thing that was on.
"What even is that thing?" He asked, but Sonic had no answer. What he did have was the mindset to destroy that thing at all costs.
"No matter what it is, we've got to take that thing down at all costs!" Sonic said before getting ready to run out of the room. Rouge stopped him though with words.
"Hold it there, Big Blue. I feel that Eggman also has another plan to kidnap your friends. Maybe you should work on preventing that for now.
"She's right, Sonic! Let's get going." Tails said to the hedgehog who nodded.
"I'm gonna find Shadow and see if he's willing to help. See you later." Rouge said before hanging up. The day went on and on and on….Sonic and Tails weren't able to find any of their friends and the sun was set at this point. The only place they haven't looked was Eggman's laboratory and they flew and saw it lit up in the distance.
"Alright, we need a plan!" Sonic had told Tails. It was shocking to say the least that Sonic of all people wanted to plan. They both got off the tornado(which they landed) and stared at Eggman's base. Suddenly Rouge had landed next to the two and before they could greet her, Shadow had seemingly teleported next to them.
"Oh hey Shadow. Long time, no see. Sup Rouge!" Sonic greeted. Shadow didn't say anything and Rouge had been cut off even before she could get her sentence started.
"Okay, I think I have a plan. I just disabled the cameras and therefore we can do this stealthy!" Tails had told the team as they were already running inside of the lab and he had just realized that they ditched him. Seeing this made him feel a little left out and besides, they didn't even get to listen to the whole thing.
"Hey! Wait up!" Tails begged the three as he flew in after them to catch up. Eggman had noticed his cameras going off and knew it was gonna be his time to strike.
Knuckles, Amy, Cream, and Cheese were all locked up. They were inside of heavy bullet proof glass and Knuckles was trying his best to escape while Amy and the others were face palming.
"Ho ho ho ho! It's all falling into place!" Eggman yelled out loud as he waited in the lab for Sonic and friends to arrive…………….and there was awkward silence. He turned around and looked at the mobians he had captured and tried to start up small talk.
"So……….how's guarding that Emerald going?" Eggman asked Knuckles.
"Oh it was going great until you kidnapped and tricked me. Not to mention you stole the Master Emerald" Knuckles replied back in an angry manner.
"Oh yeah…...so Amy, what's the deal between you and Sonic?" Eggman asked the hedgehog.
"Wh-let's just not talk until Sonic arrives, okay?" Amy asked and Eggman was sweating a bit. This was so awkward talking to people other than Sonic or Tails, which is pretty much the only people he talked to nowadays, apart from his robots.
"Agreed….." Eggman replied before he turned around and watched the door…….and watched…….and watched…..then suddenly the door flew open with Two hedgehogs jumping in and one fox flying in behind them.
"Ahh! Sonic, Shadow and Tails! What a pleasure to meet you!" He started. Sonic was gonna ask what the doctor was up to this time, but before he could say anything Shadow was already done talking with the doctor.
"Shut up, CHAOS CONTROL!" Shadow stated as he knew he could get some easy spars in, using that Emerald….but when he froze time the machine blasted on. It seemed that using Chaos Control powered the Sol Emeralds, which was admittedly not a good thing. Shadow immediately cancelled it.
"Eggman! What is that thing?!" Sonic asked him, while getting into a fighting stance, likewise with Tails. They were both ready to crack this egg.
"Oh? You mean my Interdimensional Converter 3,000? Let me give you three a run down." Eggman started to speak. While he was talking about his plan, Rouge was behind him, getting ready to save everyone...but…..she couldn't resist the Sol Emeralds. Her eyes were literally Emerald shaped at that point. She dropped down and was about to steal the Emeralds. It was at that moment that Eggman was getting close to finishing the explanation.
"Oh, I get it! You wanted us to transform into our Super forms and take this thing down instantly?" Sonic asked sarcastically. It seemed that Sonic and Tails had the other 6 chaos Emeralds on them. Sonic, Shadow and Tails were all about to transform. Eggman's eyes had widened behind those glasses as he instantly turned around to turn on the machine.
At the same time Rouge was about to steal a Sol Emerald and Sonic, Shadow and Tails all transformed. These three actions happened all at the same time and that started something horrible. Too much power was happening all at the same time. The machine had exploded, but a weird dimension was shown even with the ring shape gone.
"What the hell?" Shadow asked.
"What's happening?!?!" Sonic, Tails and Eggman all said at the same time as the two hedgehogs and fox untransformed. Rouge was way too focussed on the Sol Emerald to notice the danger behind her.
"This isn't what's supposed to happen!!" Eggman yelled as the machine had started to pull everyone in. Orbot, Cubot and Metal Sonic all walked in, being altered by danger for the boss.
"Boss are you-" Orbot asked as he had seen Eggman holding on to the rail for dear life. Sonic Tails, and Shadow were all holding onto Eggman and which other as well. Knuckles, Amy and Cream couldn't do anything and the glass cage they were in was starting to get sucked in. The Sol Emeralds, the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds were all sucked into the portal….well apart from the one Rouge put in her pocket. Speaking of Rouge, she was using her wings which was not working well.
"Sonic, help!" Amy begged as they were about to get pulled in. Sonic didn't notice them until now and instantly let go of Eggman to save them.
"SONIC!" Tails yelled as Sonic had caused them all to get sucked into the portal. The glass cage had gotten loose and fell in as well. Rouge was pulled in likewise. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Orbot and Cubot were the last ones left. Cubot had made the horrible decision to grab Eggman's hands to try and pull him up.
"Don't worry boss, I've got-" Cubot started before Eggman was being pulled in and his grip on the doctor caused him to get pulled in. Orbot had grabbed Cubot but the same thing happened and the same with Metal Sonic….everyone was…..gone and the portal was still up…..it just seemed to be calming down now. Where did our heroes and villains end up? Well if you read the title you'd know….but still, where did our heroes end up?
Ahh the wonderful world of Pokemon. This is a place where Pokemon and Trainers live in harmony together. This is also where trainers catch pokemon to battle and become a pokemon champion! We go to our heroes, Ash and Gou! Ash wants to climb up to the top so he can finally get a rematch with Leon and Gou wants to catch one of each type of Pokemon, including Mew! Our heroes were in the Sinnoh region today as Gou was wanting to catch a new Sinnoh pokemon.
"I really hope the rumors of a new pokemon are true!" Ash started to speak. Gou was also happy for the rumors.
"If it is, I'll be the first to catch it!" Gou teased. Ash and Gou had a sort of rival sort of relationship especially when it came to catching pokemon.
"Not if I find it first!" Ash replied as the two had started to laugh. They were both deep in the forest, looking around to hope if the rumors were true or not. Suddenly a loud crash was heard in the forest which even made the ground rumble.
"Pika-Pi!" Pikachu questioned and Raboot still had his hands in his jacket, not being too fazed by it one bit. Ash and Gou had looked at each other for a second.
"What was that?" Gou asked Ash before Pikachu jumped on Ash's shoulder before Ash started to run in the direction of the sound.
"We'll never find out, just standing here. Let's go see!" Ash replied as him and his pokemon were already getting the move on. Gou waited for a second before looking determined and nodding to go follow Ash. Sonic was inside of a large crater. Why does this always happen to him in every single crossover fanfiction?
He had opened his eyes, seeming hurt by the fall. Now he was in the woods?
"Argh, where am I?" Sonic asked himself as he stood up and started to look around, just a tad bit. He made sure to not get running recklessly this time. He wanted to know where he was before he'd get moving. Besides, he sort of felt like crap right now. Ash and Gou had finally made it to the cause of the sound and….seen…….something….whatever the heck that thing is. Ash and Gou nodded before Gou pulled out his pokedex to examine.
"There seems to be no data on this pokemon.." It said, which lit Ash and Gou up. This was amazing...maybe they had found the rare pokemon! Sonic had then turned around and seen Ash and Gou spying on him, with those two weird creatures. Ash had instantly hidden behind a rock and Gou hid behind a tree so as to not scare the weird pokemon off.
"Do you think that's the rare pokemon, Ash?" Gou asked him.
"It has to be. I've never seen a pokemon like that, ever." Ash responded.
Sonic was tapping his feat, with a I'm waaaaaaaiting sort of expression and soon zoomed right behind the rock, where Ash hid. Ash had jumped back, and pikachu's cheeks had started to spark as he got defensive, with them both being caught off guard. Even with his injuries, Sonic couldn't help but let out a smirk. Welp, it seemed that there were humans here, so he might be back on Earth? He didn't take long to look around and check out more of the area. He did a peel out and dashed away.
"..." Was all the two trainers could say. Pikachu was even shocked by that exchange. That pokemon was quick….maybe even quicker than quick attack.
"Ash…..did you see that?" Gou asked a rhetorical question that Ash answered anyways.
"Yeah…….it looked right at me...and even smiled before it ran off." Ash said..before Gou gave out a hand to help him up.
"Well we won't catch a pokemon this rare, by just sitting here! Let's go find it!" Gou announced.
"Yeah! You're right…" Ash hesitated a little bit. The pokemon seemed a little bit hurt when it looked at him. He may have only gotten about a second or two up close, but he knows what he saw.
"Okay, okay. This is the part of the fanfiction where I usually go and look for my friends…..thing is, where could they be?" Sonic asked himself as he had stopped running to look around and think. When he did that, a glass cage had on him, similar to an Eggman sort of trap, Sonic instantly thought it was Eggman.
"Really, Egghead?!" He yelled out, but considering a meowth was the one handling the glass cage, he was the one to hear him.
"Wow, 'Egghead'? I've come up with better insults in my sleep!" Meowth responded, obviously not noticing the fact that Sonic talked. He probably just thought it in pokemon language.
"Hurry up, Meowth! The boss is gonna love it when he sees what we just caught.
"Yeah, yeah." Meowth responded before climbing up the rope and they were about to fly off. Sonic had noticed this wasn't even Eggman and was just a bunch of punks. That cat also looked weird. Nothing like a mobian. Sonic was sitting down with his arms crossed, about to charge up a spindash as he wasn't planning on being kidnapped today. Though it seemed he didn't need to.
"Pikachu, use Iron-Tail!" Ash had yelled before the electric rat had come out from the blue and his tail turned iron before he cut the rope in half. Team Rocket had noticed this and turned around, seeing Ash and Gou running up.
"Argh, it's the twerp!" Meowth yelled as the glass cage had hit the ground. It was tougher glass but certainly not bullet proof. It was cracked, yet Sonic wanted to wait and see how this goes before he would step in. The weird team had jumped out of the air balloon to introduce themselves…...again.
"Prepare for trouble, for the pokemon is ours." The women started to speak.
"And make it double, and we'll leave you in scars." The man started to speak. Sonic was so confused. Were these guys for real right now with those goofy intros? He could take even Eggman more seriously then these guys.
"To protect the world from devastation" the women spoke again.
"To unite all people within our nation" likewise, the man also kept going.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love." the women let out again.
"To extend our reach to the stars above!" the man added.
"Jessie" Jessie revealed her name.
"And James" James revealed his name.
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" Jessie added.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!" James stated.
"Meowth that's right!" Meowth chimed in.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet came in last.
"Team Rocket! What do you think you're doing!?" Ash yelled at the four.
"None of your business you little twerp! Secret weapon, go!" Jessie yelled before Pelipper had flown over everyone and dropped the pokeball machine. Jessie and James picked meowth up and flipped him upside down. Sonic was looking at this and wondering why those two kids are just sitting there letting them get their secret weapon.
"You won't be able to withstand…." Jessie started to speak before a pokeball came out from the machine. They looked at the card and saw…
"Aggron, go!" Jessie said as she threw out the pokeball and Aggron came out.
"AGGRON!" It said. Gou had jumped back as he saw the pokemon. He then pulled out his pokedex and it began to speak.
"Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon. Aggron is the final evolution of Aron. It shows no mercy to anyone who disturbs its habitat. Electric types stand no chance against this pokemon." Ash was starting to regret not bringing any more of his pokemon with him today.
"Raboot, use Ember!" Gou ordered his bunny before it took a rock, set it ablaze by kicking it into the air and then kicking it downwards right at Aggron, who slid back a bit and tanked the hit.
"Aggron, use Iron Head!" Jessie ordered.
"AGG……...ROOON!" It said before charging at pikachu.
"Pikachu dodge it and counter with Iron Tail!" Ash ordered before Aggron made it to Pikachu and headbutt the ground as Pikachu had gotten right out of the way and then launched an Iron Tail. Aggron took the hit, but was not fazed, just knocked back a bit. Sonic was liking this. A simple fight like these is hard to come by nowadays. Jessie had a sinister smile.
"Aggron, use Iron head again!" She said in which Aggron headbutt pikachu, knocking him hard into a rock.
"Piiiiika!" Pikachu said before crashing into the rock.
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled. Sonic had seen the rising tension and the robotnicks…..urrr rockets seemed like bad people. Sonic had then charged a spindash. Pikachu had been knocked down a peg, just from that one hard hit. It got up, shaking a bit from the pain.
"Now use Shadow claw!" Jessie ordered the Aggron. Pikachu was clearly not gonna dodge that….and after all these years, this would be Team Rocket's first win…...Gou had ordered Raboot.
"Ember, one last time, go!" He said as the fire rock hit the back of Aggron's head….but it was useless.
"Finally! The twerp is gonna lose!" Team Rocket all said simultaneously. Pikachu for once in it's life was scared.
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled again before Sonic broke through the glass and did a hard spindash into the Aggron, knocking it far back. He deals with metal all the time. Ash and Gou were shocked by how fast this thing was. So was Team Rocket. Pikachu ran to Ash's shoulder.
"Faint this blue rodent so we can take him to the boss!" Jessie ordered. Giving the Aggron permission to to use any move. It had then started to use roll out. Sonic sees it curl into a ball similar to what he does. This made him smirk and cross his arms as Aggron approached him.
"What's it doing?! It's gonna get hit!" Gou had said. Ash had seen something else. Ash then smiled.
"No….he's not. He's toying with it." he replied.
One roll out…..Sonic dodged and then he dodged the second one, third one, fourth one, fifth one….he could do this all day. Aggron had stopped doing rollouts as he seemed dizzy. He was right in front of Team Rocket and was struggling to keep its balance.
"Hehe" Sonic chuckled, before charging up a powerful spin dash, digging into the ground very slightly, releasing it and jumping right into the aggron's torso. Knocking towards the team rocket.
"Uh oh.." James said right before it flew into them, knocking it and them right into the sky. Sonic had thought to himself for a second. '...How does that work?" he thought as team rocket was flying off.
"Wow, that thing sure is fast." Meowth thought.
"No worries, I've got a plan that'll surely not fail." Jessie told the team.
"You say that everytime.." James replied.
"Wobbuffet!!!!!" Wobbuffet yelled.
"We're blasting off again!!" Team Rocket yelled.
"Aggron!" It yelled with them.
Sonic was even more confused. 'Again? How much does this happen exactly?' he thought.
"Pikachu, eat this." Ash told his pokemon before feeding the mouse an oran berry. It tasted delicious and Pikachu felt way better. Gou couldn't help but not take his eyes off of the creature in front of him. He pulled out a tape measure and walked towards Sonic. Sonic had lifted an eyebrow at this.
"I've never seen a pokemon like you. You're so….unique" Gou complimented. Sonic struck a smirk, still not saying a word. He just didn't have anything to say at the time. Ash and pikachu had then looked at Sonic, both with big smiles on their faces.
"Thanks a lot back there! You helped a ton!" Ash praised.
"Pika pi!" Pikachu added on Sonic shrugged in the Ehh, it's what I do sort of manner. These kids seemed normal enough. It was the creatures they had that was what was concerning. He'd never seen anything like them. Ash wanted to know more about this 'pokemon' and so did Gou.
"So, you have a name?" Ash asked Sonic.
"You never heard of me? I'm just a guy who hates evil, fights injustice and is married to adventure. I'm Sonic the hedgehog!" Sonic announced which made Ash, Gou, Pikachu, and even Raboot widen their eyes and mouths…..but...Sonic had soon fallen down...unconscious. That was a lot to take at the moment. IT CAN TALK?! He didn't require psychics or anything of the sort...he just talked!! Right now was not the time to ask questions. They had to get him to a pokemon center quickly.
"Let's get him fixed up!" Gou said as he and ash had started to carry the knocked out hedgehog.
On their way there, they were looked at with shocked faces. They had been the ones to catch the rumored 'New Rare Pokemon' which was honestly just a coincidence that Sonic showed up around the time the rumors started. Once they got to the pokemon center, Nurse Joy immediately greeted them.
"Hello and welcome to the Pokecent-Oh is that a new pokemon?" She asked the two.
"Yes. Can you heal him? He seems hurt!" Ash begged her. Nurse Joy was determined.
"Don't worry, I'll get him into full health!" Nurse Joy replied before her and chansey grabbed the hedgehog and put him on the table with wheels and took him in the d=back. Ash and Gou had looked at each other for a second.
"Welp, I guess we can do nothing now, but wait.." Gou replied. In the back, Nurse Joy was checking his vitals and his heart rate. It seemed his heart rate was EXTREMELY fast, but that didn't seem to be an issue for him. Nurse Joy then started to check his scars and bruises and started to patch him up.
After a few hours, Nurse joy had come back in with a sleeping Sonic who had bandages all over the few scars he had.
"We were able to restore your pokemon to full health! As long as he gets rest for a few hours, he should be completely restored." Nurse Joy told Ash, with a smile
"Thank you so much! But it's not my po-"
Sonic had then yawned, stretched and woken up. Ofcourse big blue had something to say, as always.
"Alright, what did I miss?" Sonic asked as it seemed his rest was well warranted. The bandages the sleep he got, made him feel like a new hedgehog.
Nurse Joy's jaw dropped.
"It…..can talk?" She asked. Gou, and Ash nodded. Sonic had seemed a bit confused as to why they reacted that way. Every human should know that he can talk by now, right? Maybe he wasn't back on earth after all. Nurse Job went back to the back of the center to treat another pokemon.
"Yeah, it shocked us as well." Ash explained. Sonic had yawned and jumped off the table with wheels. He had started to walk towards the door.
"Wait Sonic….where are you going?" Gou had asked the hedgehog while his Raboot had stood there with its paws in its pocket. He wasn't showing much interest or excitement.
"I've got places to be. I'm heading out." He said as he continued to walk towards the door.
"Pikachu, use Electroweb!" Ash ordered Pikachu.
"Piiiiii-ka!" Pikachu replied as it threw the Electroweb at the door, stopping Sonic from barging out of there. Sonic's smirk had immediately gone away as he stopped walking. He didn't even turn around to face the trainer nor the mouse.
"Not cool, kid." Sonic had told him.
"Nurse Joy said you need to get rest. We can't let you leave until we know you're better." Ash had told Sonic. Ash was being sincere and truly cared about the 'pokemon's' well being. Gou also felt that it was way better if Sonic stayed with them for a while.
"Did I stutter?" Sonic asked as he turned around and looked the trainer right in the eyes. He didn't have time to mess around with a kid and his pet rat. He was truly looking to find his friends.
"Nope, we heard you loud and clear! We're not letting you go unless you agree to stay with us until you're better!" Ash offered companionship. Pikachu had smiled.
"Pika!" He said as he was also offering it.
"Yeah, we'll make sure to keep you safe just in case someone tries to take advantage of your weak state!" Gou added on.
"So whaddya say?" Ash asked. Sonic didn't have the heart to beat this kid up and be on his way, so he decided to agree to it.
"Ahh fine. Besides, I could use some help finding my friends.." Sonic replied. Ash and Gou's eyes widen.
