Not much happened after Eleanor and the others returned to Sherwood Forest. Eleanor ended up living with rob O' and the Merry Men. With the rewards from King Jonathan, the Merry Men no longer had the need to steal from the rich and give to the poor. Instead, they became messengers and ran errands for various townspeople. They visited King Jonathan often, providing him with a constant stream of advice.
Eleanor, Pine, Gill and South became advisers in the King's court, and he allowed them to move freely back and forth between Sherwood Forest and his kingdom. Gill was given the position of prison warden, an occupation that proved idle as the crime rate lessened. South became the abbot of the monastery next to the castle. Pine became Rob O's right-hand man and confidant after the death of Little John due to fever. A month afterwards, Eleanor came of age and married Pine in a simple ceremony, with South officiating. Their children were twins, the boy named Gill the Second and the girl Mindy. Eleanor still went on various adventures, wore the same clothes, and despised dresses.
