At five in the morning, Bell opened his eyes groggily and looked around. Slowly getting his body up properly on his bed, he let out a large yawn and scratched his head. "Yesterday wasn't a dream, right?" He muttered as he looked around his room.

His own room…that's right it wasn't a dream, he finally found a Deity that would take him in, after three days of being continuously rejected by many Familias because he wasn't strong enough in their eyes, he finally found a Deity that would take him in. He would join the Izanami Familia along with five others and had a place he could call home now.

Bell then got out from his bed and went to the bathroom to clean himself up a bit. After that, Bell then grabbed his sword and shield then prepared himself for the training that the more experienced and skilled members of his Familia was going to give him. Thinking about his Familia, he couldn't help but be awed at how skilled four of them were in combat.

Ragna could kill every monster in his way with a swing of his giant sword, Bell could easily tell that Ragna had experience by how casually he used that blade. Nine was of course an outstanding Magician like Ragna said she was, and simply destroyed every monster in her way with ease and little to no trouble. Those two were even good enough to head towards the twelfth floor on their first day!

That wasn't to say that Akame and Shinobu weren't skilled, they were also amazing spectacular in their own way as well. Akame's agility was second to none, and he saw her run or dash around monsters while killing them in a single strike from her blade. Shinobu, if Bell hadn't seen her own parchment that had details from her Falna, he would have thought that she had an Illusion Type Skill, as he remembered her dealing with a larger Kobold on her own and seemingly as she passed by the monster, butterflies appeared out of nowhere and soon the monster had multiple stab wounds and soon died from it.

Seeing all of them fight, made Bell realized that he and Emma had a long way to go so they could stand and fight next to them as equals. He knew that the experience between them was high but now they had a goal to reach towards on their own. And he was very excited to start training to catch up to them as he exited the house and went to the small garden where Akame and Shinobu were waiting for him and Emma.

"Morning Bell!" Shinobu greeted cheerfully.

"Morning." Akame greeted casually as she just stared at a bee on a flower.

"Morning, Akame, Shinobu." Bell greeted as he got closer to them.

Shinobu nodded and looked around at the relatively blank garden around as she came to an idea. "We should get some flowers for our garden here; it would be a waste not to use it after all." Shinobu commented.

"I think I saw a couple of Flower Shops in the City." Akame said casually as the bee soon flew off away and she turned back to the group.

"Wonderful!" Shinobu chirped. "Maybe I can start growing some medicinal herbs and flowers if they happen to have any as well."

"Not a bad idea, if you can make healing items for us, that would help us out in the long term with our finances." Nine commented as she and Ragna walked to them as well as they exited the house, followed by Emma.

"Ah, Ragna, Nine, Emma, good morning." Bell greeted as now all the members of the Familia, save for Izanami, were here now as they nodded back to him.

"Right then, to start off, everyone here save for Bell and Emma can go down to the twelfth floor on their own." Nine started off as Emma and Bell winced at their ability so far. "So as a result, I want you both to start training, you are to make to the seventh floor by the end of this week." She ordered.

"Yes Nine!" Both Bell and Emma said at once as Nine nodded and turned to the others.

"I'll leave them in your hands for you to train." She said as the remaining fighters nodded as Ragna turned to Akame and Shinobu.

"So, do either of you two want to go first?" Ragna asked.

"I think you and Akame should train them first, as I need to find another weapon before I can do so." Shinobu said as the others turned to her with raised eyebrows. "My sword is in good condition but it's also poisoned as well." She explained.

"Really?" Ragna questioned as Shinobu nodded. "Show us." He said as Shinobu then draw her sword so everyone can see. It was certainly a unique blade for sure, It, looked like any katana from the handle to slightly above the hilt, but above that, the weapon has no blade and is instead replaced by a rod of sorts. Its end is a needle-like tip, resembling an insect's stinger in appearance.

"My fighting style's main focus relies on stabs, thrusts, and shallow cuts to injection poison in my enemies and the sheath had been modified to act as a portable poison mixer and loader." Shinobu explained. "As a result, my blade's always coated in poison."

"And if you're not careful you could easily and accidentally poison Bell and Emma." Ragna noted as Shinobu nodded. "Jesus, girl you really are a poisonous girl." He muttered as Shinobu beamed at the compliment. 'Would also explain a lot how you're able to eat Izanami's cooking.' He thought.

"Right then, starting today you're finding another sword, preferably a training katana to use against Bell and Emma." Nine ordered as Shinobu nodded as Nine then turned to Akame and Ragna. "So, I suppose it's up to you two now." She said.

"Actually, I can't train them either." Akame chimed in as Nine turned to Akame.

"What?" Nine said flatly.

"My blade, Murasame is a Cursed Blade if I make even the smallest cut on someone, the poison from the blade will kill the other." Akame explained.

"Seriously?" Ragna muttered in disbelief. "You sure you and Shinobu are not long-lost sisters or something?" He questioned. 'What are the odds that two poison sword users would end up together here in this city and then join us?' Ragna thought as he turned to Nine who also had a similar expression to himself.

"We aren't." Shinobu and Akame said at once.

"I guess that means we'll need two normal swords then." Nine sighed. "Ragna, I believe I can entrust Emma and Bell in your care then." Nine said as Ragna nodded. 'Ragna has been trained before and so he would know how to train others if he remembers his training.' She thought.

"All right then." Ragna said as he turned to the two rookies and pulled out his blade. "So, here's what I want you two to do, I want you both to attack me." Ragna ordered as the two looked kind of anxious.

"You sure?" Emma asked as she took out her two short swords.

"I need to get an assessment of your skills before figuring out where we need to start." Ragna explained. "So, come at me!" He shouted.

Both Bell and Emma dashed to Ragna hoping to catch him off guard but he calmly and easily blocked all of their first attacks and sent them back flying from him. "Predictable! Think before you attack!" He shouted as the two tried again. But this time Ragna moved his position so that when Bell charged in, Ragna kicked one of his legs and sent him flying into Emma, who couldn't dodge and slammed into each other. "Pay attention to your surroundings! Not just on your enemy's weapon!" He shouted once again as this rinsed and repeated multiple times as Ragna easily beat the two while giving the two rookies useful advice on how to improve, it was actually quite enlightening as to the way Ragna trained. He didn't baby them, but he did give them advice on how to improve bit by bit and after an hour of his training, both Bell and Emma were too exhausted to continue. "Think that's enough for today." Ragna commented as he put away his blade as Bell and Emma panted heavily.

"You're…amazing…Ragna…" Bell breathed heavily as he wiped off some seat. "You move so fast I couldn't keep up."

"I was holding back." Ragna pointed out as both Bell and Emma paled a bit at how strong Ragna truly is.

"At the very least you two improved near the end." Shinobu said as she checked up on Emma, who drank the water that Shinobu soon provided her with.

"I think Bell will need to change his weapon." Akame noted as she had been watching the spar. "Bell's more of an agile and speedy fighter, and his weapons aren't good for that."

"Short Swords, Daggers, or Knives is what I suggest." Ragna shrugged, not able to help out anymore since he uses large weapons.

"How about a katana?" Bell suggested, he was interested in using a katana like Shinobu and Akame.

"In that case, as soon as we get safe swords for Akame and Shinobu to use they can train you up then, they're more agile fighters after all." Nine stated as both Akame and Shinobu nodded as they can indeed train Bell in using a katana.

"I can teach him the basics, but I won't be able to teach him my Insect Breathing Style since it was made to compensate my lack of strength and I rely on poisons to deliver the final blow." Shinobu commented.

"What's a Breathing Style?" Emma asked.

"Breathing Styles are swordsmanship forms practiced and taught where I'm from." Shinobu explained. "Through Breathing Styles, we can increase our lung capacity and amount of oxygen in our blood. The increase of oxygen allows us to enhance our physical abilities and mental concentration. Advanced Users can use something called Focused Breathing, which it's capable of clotting wounds from severe injuries and slowing down the circulation of poison in the bloodstream." Shinobu elaborated some more.

"Interesting Swordsmanship style." Nine hummed. "I assume there are many variations of Breathing Styles since you called your Breathing Style the Insect Breathing Style yes?"

"Indeed, there are many Breathing Styles where I'm from, but all Breathing Styles can be traced back to the Breath of the Sun, the original Breathing Style. And like every fighting style, they each offer their own unique advantages." Shinobu detailed.

"Do you think me and Emma could learn it?" Bell asked quickly.

"While I am skilled in two Breathing Styles, the best one I could think that would suit you is the Water Breathing Style." Shinobu said as she then looked a bit apologetic. "However, don't expect me to be too great at it since it's not my specialty." She explained.

"Water Breathing?" Emma asked.

"As Nine pointed out earlier, there are many variations of Breathing Styles from the Sun Breathing you have six known Breathing Styles, however one of them was used by a traitor and he never taught anyone so it is unknown to us as a result." Shinobu explained.

"And from some of those Breathing Styles, I imagine that they also developed their own versions as a result." Akame noted.

"Correct." Shinobu nodded. "My own Insect Breathing is based off of the Flower Breathing, and the Flower Breathing is descended from the Water Breathing Style." She explained.

"Amazing, you created your own Breathing Style!" Emma said in awe as Shinobu giggled.

"So, in theory you would know three of them, but as you said in reality you only know two at the worst but the third one is something you could teach, albeit not to the extent true Masters of the Style would." Ragna calmly noted.

"Indeed Ragna." Shinobu nodded. "Luckily the Water Breathing Style is the easiest to learn of all Breathing Styles and is the preferred Breath Style used by many rookies." She explained. "And for now, I will only teach you that unless there's another Breathing Style that I can teach that's better suited for you." She told Bell and Emma, as they both nodded in excitement.

"Well best get them into the basics before they do anything else." Nine shrugged. "Don't need them to do anything foolish like trying to create their own Breathing Styles just yet."

"Mou! Why won't you guys let me cook?" Izanami pouted adorably as she sat at the table along with her Familia. "I wanted to make food for my children every day you know?" She said as everyone saved for Shinobu shivered, they were never going to let her cook if they could help it.

"Now, now Izanami, don't be sad." Shinobu said consolingly. "Also think of it this way, if you cooked then you won't be able to enjoy Ragna's cooking."

"Still though." Izanami wanted to complain but couldn't as she had admitted that Ragna's cooking is very good and very tasty on her taste buds.

"Maybe you can make a lunchbox for Shinobu later on, she does like your cooking." Nine suggested as a quick compromise so she doesn't have to deal with a pouty Goddess as Izanami did a complete 180.

"And that's why you're my favorite child!" Izanami said happily as she pulled Shinobu into a hug who only smiled and hugged her a bit back. "I don't get the rest of you though; all of my food is healthy and delicious." Izanami pouted.

'But you don't even taste your own food though.' Everyone save for Shinobu thought as they thought about Shinobu being able to eat Izanami's food. 'Starting to think that Poison consumption Skill or whatever allows you to digest her cooking.' They all thought as well.

"So, what's the plan for today?" Izanami soon asked. "I hope none of you plan to go down deeper into the Dungeon." She said in worry.

"Don't worry we plan to stay around in the first Floors for a bit until Bell and Emma can go to the twelfth Floor on their own power." Nine assured as Izanami looked more relieved now. "But we do need to get some new weapons though." She added in as Izanami looked confused.

"Why? Did the weapons break or something?" Izanami asked, and if they were, then she would take up a complaint with the Guild itself about them selling degraded gear to her children.

"It's not like that, their weapons are still good." Nine explained quickly. "We need to buy some sparring weapons for Shinobu and Akame as their current weapons are too lethal to use." Nine explained.

"I see." Izanami said as she rubbed her chin a bit before she gained an idea. "You can go to the Babel Tower since they have many weapon shops in there. The weapons you want to keep an eye out for are those made by the Goibniu and Hephaestus Familias since they make top quality weapons." Izanami said to them.

"Gods of Blacksmiths do tend to create better quality gear overall." Emma nodded.

"Thanks for the aid Izanami." Ragna said to her as she nodded in his direction as Ragna then turned to Bell. "So just out of curiosity, why did you go with a longsword and shield, considering they don't fit you?"

"Well my grandfather taught me how to fight with all kinds of weapons." Bell explained. "So, I just picked whatever worked for me." He said.

"I see." Ragna hummed. "He may have made you a bit versatile, but he didn't exactly train you in what you best work at though." He pointed out.

"At the very least he trained you to acceptable levels., but you're better off with a weapon that you're more comfortable with." Akame pointed out.

"Hence this shopping trips serves another purpose, to not only get new weapons for Shinobu and Akame but also for you too Bell." Nine stated with no room to argue as he nodded.

"Well then if you're shopping for weapons then I will shop for groceries then, I only bought enough for myself, now that you're all here I need to buy more food." Izanami said.

"Suppose you'll need some help carrying the food then." Ragna said as Izanami nodded. "Okay, I'll go with." Ragna said.

"I'll also need to buy some medical textbooks so I can create Healing Potions and the likes." Shinobu added in.

"I thought you know about Medicine already?" Bell asked in confusion.

"I deal mainly with poisons, diseases, and infections Bell." Shinobu reminded. "And Healing Potions do not fall into that category."

"I can help you with that." Izanami chimed back in. "I know Miach, I can ask him to help you out." She said.

"You sure he will agree?" Shinobu asked.

"He will." Izanami assured.

"So that mean Ragna and Shinobu are heading off with Izanami then." Nine said, taking note of who's going where. "Anyone else?" She asked as everyone else remained silent and perfectly content as to where they're going. "I suppose that means only Akame will be heading with Bell and Emma to Babel Tower then." She said.

"Where are you going?" Ragna asked.

"I'll be heading for the Guild Library." Nine said to him. "I need to know everything there is to know about the Dungeon before I make any more plans for us go to deeper." She explained.

'Bored'

Tsubaki was so bored! Just because she had let the munchkin of a Goddess sleep in the store, Hephaestus had her on clerk duty. She could hear the forge calling for her, but by direct order from the Lady of the Forge herself, she was stuck looking after one of their numerous stores in Babel. Not even one of the more well-respected ones, instead she was surrounded by Level 1 Rookies looking to get cheap armor or weapons. She had managed to sell a few things, but given her attitude towards some of the customers, they had decided to leave quickly.

Tsubaki had only opened the store a little while ago but the store itself was empty right now. She was leaning on both her hands looking over the meager equipment from the lower level blacksmiths in the Familia. In her honest opinion, a lot of this wasn't even worth selling and undoubtedly some of it was going to get the poor Adventurers that bought it, killed. There was some talent in the store though, but not much and something that was not so easily noted. Hearing the chime of the entrance she turned her gaze to the door.

"Lady Izanami." Tsubaki greeted politely, she liked this Goddess, she was kind, helpful, hardworking, determined, several traits that the Moocher could learn from for sure.

"Tsubaki? What are you doing here?" Izanami asked in surprise.

"Punishment for letting Hestia sleep in one of our stores again." Tsubaki sighed.

"Oh yes, Hestia did mention that." Izanami nodded as she clearly remembered the Goddess in question running up to her while crying, ranting about how Hephaestus kicked her out, and Izanami kindly helped her find a job to do.

"So, lady Izanami you want meet lady Hephaestus?" Tsubaki asked. "If so, she's not in here today." Tsubaki answered.

"Oh no." Izanami said as she shook her head. "I'm to get weapons for my children." She said pointing to the group behind her though Tsubaki noted that one of them flinched at the mention of her name.

"Six of them? Congratulations Lady Izanami." Tsubaki said, impressed by the number she gained, if there was any Goddess that deserves children of her own, it was certainly Izanami.

"Thank you Tsubaki, I am very lucky to have them." Izanami smiled she said as she turned to her children. "Everyone, this is Tsubaki Collbrande, Hephaestus Familia Captain." She introduced her to her children as she then introduced her children as well.

"That's me, so what can I help you with?" She asked.

"Well we're looking for Katana blades if you happen to have any." Shinobu requested as Tsubaki pointed to a shelf filled with Katana Blades. "That is very helpful, thank you." She nodded to her.

"Another thing, while we're here, maybe we can find some armor for Bell and Emma." Akame added in.

"Good idea, Bell, Emma look for armor that will suit you, me I can find Katanas that can work for us." Shinobu said as Bell and Emma nodded and went into the armor section with Akame to help them adjust armor on them or to see what works best for them.

As that was going on, Tsubaki noticed Ragna's weapon and became interested in it. "That's a very interesting weapon you go there." Tsubaki commented as Ragna blinked and then nodded.

"Thanks, I got it from my teacher." Ragna answered as Tsubaki still examined his blade.

"Mind if I take a closer look at it?" Tsubaki asked.

"Knock yourself out." Ragna shrugged as he handed her his blade as Tsubaki began checking it. She had to admit, it was certainly well made she was even more surprised when it had a Scythe function as well.

"Do you know who made it?" Tsubaki asked as she gave it back to Ragna.

"My teacher never told me so I don't know." Ragna said "But it's a good weapon that hasn't failed me yet." Ragna said.

"That's too bad." Tsubaki sighed. "It's a good design, and has a unique transformation gimmick. Maybe I'll try to create something like that when I got the time."

"If you're interested in Ragna's sword, then maybe you'll want to check out Akame and Shinobu's swords as well." Izanami said as Tsubaki gained interest in that and walked to the girls in question and after some time let her see their blades, but warned her to be careful.

"Interesting." Tsubaki said in awe, looking at Shinobu's sword. "The tip is sharp enough so it can hit through tough exteriors more easily. You said you asked for the sword to be made like this?"

"Indeed, I did it so it can fit my fighting style." Shinobu nodded.

"Whoever made this, was certainly very skilled." Tsubaki noted.

"My blacksmith is very passionate about his work." Shinobu said with a smile.

"I can tell." Tsubaki nodded as she turned to Akame's sword. "And your sword is be poisoned well enough that a single cut can kill anyone?" She asked as Akame nodded. "My, what a dangerous weapon, but against monsters I don't doubt its ability to kill them. Do you know who made this sword?" She asked.

"I'm sorry but the one who made it is dead and he took his secrets with him to the grave." Akame apologized.

"Shame, I think even my Goddess would be highly impressed with that sword, she might even ask to buy it." She said as Akame quickly took back her blade from her causing Tsubaki to laugh a bit. "Oh relax, you can say no to her, she's not going to be offended by it."

"We're back." Emma said as she and Bell came back with boxes of armor in their arms.

"You did, did you? Well let's see them." Tsubaki said as she examined Bell's armor. "This is Welf's work, he's not bad at all, nice choice." She said as she turned to Emma's box and looked inside. "Huh, this is Marco's work, that's surprising since she's from Goibniu." Tsubaki noted before she shrugged. "Then again I shouldn't be surprised since we did do an exchange a while back, guess some of their works ended up here." She commented as she then turned to Emma. "Don't worry, about it, you can still use it." Tsubaki assured.

At the end of their equipment shopping, they got two sets of Armor for Bell and Emma, and three Katana Blades for Bell, Shinobu, and Akame to use, two for practice and one for his main weapon. After that, the group went their own way with Akame, Bell, and Emma heading towards the dungeon, and Nine towards the Library; Izanami, Ragna, and Shinobu heading off to buy groceries and to have Miach meet Shinobu.

"So, this is Miach's shop." Shinobu noted as she looked at the store. It was a small and old house and it was not properly maintained either as some parts of the place was falling apart.

"This is all that Miach's Familia have left after most of their members left and going into debt to help his child." Izanami said sadly at the fact that such a nice God had to suffer like this.

"So much for being good children." Ragna muttered, while he could understand why many members left, the God did do it for a good reason though.

"Welcome." A voice spoke up as the three of them walked into the shop. And behind the front desk was a girl with long brown hair, purple eyes, dog ears, and a tail.

"Hello Naaza!" Izanami greeted the girl kindly. "Is Miach here right now?" She asked.

"You called for me Izanami?" A male voice spoke up from the door behind Naaza as he stepped out to reveal a man with long dark blue hair and dark blue eyes. He wore a black robe; tan brown stole that reaches down past his shoulders.

"Hello Miach." Izanami greeted.

"So, what do you need Izanami? Another customer with a stomachache?" Miach asked as both Ragna and Shinobu sweat drop at what they heard and figured out how it happened.

"No, not this time Miach, though I do wonder why they get that after eating my food though?" Izanami puzzled it out as everyone besides her and Shinobu thought the same thing. 'Isn't because of your food?' Izanami then remembered why they came here. "Ah also Miach I finally gained children of my own, these are Ragna and Shinobu, two six Children that I gained." She introduced.

"So, you finally gained your own children." Miach said as he smiled happily for his friend. "Do they need healing potion? I can give you free….Ow." Miach muttered as Naaza stomped on his foot from underneath the desk.

"Lord Miach, please stop giving out free potions." She said in exasperation.

"But Naaza, they're Izanami's Familia's Children." He replied and as they debate some of them quickly realized something.

'If he gives out Healing Potions like that freely, no wonder he's in debt, still that says a lot about his kind nature." Shinobu thought as her opinion of this God went up.

"Um, I'm not here to ask for a Healing Potion but might I offer up a trade that could help you relieve your debt bit by bit?" Izanami offered, catching the attention of the two. "You see my child here." Izanami said as she pointed to Shinobu who waved at them. "Is very skilled in medicine and pharmaceutical drugs but she doesn't know how to may any form of Healing Potions." Izanami explained.

"And you want me or Naaza to teach her, okay." Miach shrugged like it was nothing.

"In addition to this exchange, we can give you a drop item you need to make any potion and medicine from my Familia's adventures in the Dungeon." Izanami added in as Naaza focused more on that.

"You sure about that? Most of the Drop Items are in the Sixth Floor or lower." Miach pointed out.

Izanami smiled at his kind words. "My children are blessed with great strength and potential, why just yesterday my Captain and Ragna here made it all the way to the twelfth floor without issue." She said as both Miach and Naaza stared at Ragna with wide eyes, that was exceptionally difficult for a rookie.

"Amazing!" Miach breathed out.

"They did get a scolding for their actions but I assure you that they can easily gain those Drop Items." Izanami said kindly.

"You don't have to do this you know? We don't want to trouble your Familia." Miach said looking unsure of this.

"Miach, when I first came down here, you helped me to no end, I want to repay you for your kindness, and the sooner we help get rid of your debt, the sooner you can go back to recruiting." She said as the major reason why Miach doesn't have that many children, was because of the debt.

Before Miach could say anything else, Naaza interrupted. "We accept." She said quickly, the sooner they get this done, the sooner she doesn't have to put up with any snide remarks from the Dien Cecht Familia.

"If you're fine with that I suppose." Miach shrugged before he turned to Shinobu. "So how often can you come here?"

"I can come here three days a week." Shinobu replied.

"That sounds good." Naaza nodded. "During that time, I'll also give you a list of drop item we need so your Familia can collect it for us." She added in.

"May I start today if possible?" Shinobu asked.

"If it works for you then it's fine." Miach nodded.

"Then me and Ragna will buy groceries and head home after that, good luck Shinobu." Izanami waved goodbye to Shinobu who waved back to her and Ragna as he just gave her a thumbs up as Shinobu started her first lessons in this new world in the arts of healing.

"You sure this is enough food Ragna?" Izanami asked as she carried a large shopping bag of fruits and vegetables.

"Pretty sure you bought us enough food to last us a week." Ragna deadpanned carrying a large box of food on his shoulder. "Got to admit though, the fruits and vegetables are pretty damn fresh." Ragna noted.

"Of course, that's the Demeter Familia at work." Izanami said. "They're responsible for most of the food supply that feed this city, and going by membership count alone, they surpass even the Ganesha Familia numbers." She explained as they walked down the road and Ragna saw a small but cozy looking shop that has plenty of people coming inside and then coming out later with some kind of drink in their hands and Ragna look up to read the sign.

Revelations Coffee Shop, with the words Quality Drinks you can always count on. undeath the name of the shop.

"Kind of a catchy name at least." Ragna noted.

"Want to grab a drink here?" Izanami asked. "Revelations is very famous in the city for their quality drinks." She said.

"Sure, why not?" Ragna shrugged as they walked in and were soon seated at a small table and then a young elf with brown eyes and long red hair wearing a waitress uniform came up to them.

"Welcome to Revelations what can I get for you?" She asked cheerfully as Ragna looked around a bit and heard music coming from the place somehow…wait did he hear a violin playing?

"Give us two Specials Rain." Izanami ordered instantly as Rain nodded as she wrote down the orders and soon left. "Ah it's been a while since I last came here." She said with a relaxed smile on her face.

Ragna stopped his observation for now to talk to Izanami. "So, you come here a lot?" He asked as Izanami smiled and nodded and Ragna couldn't help but get a modern vibe from this place somewhat.

"Indeed Ragna, I come here every weekend when I can, Revelations sells quality food and drinks and this place has a very relaxing atmosphere as well." Izanami explained.

"I can tell." Ragna noted looking around at the relaxed looks that the customers had and all the waitresses that were out and about looking content and happy to work there. Then he turned to see a weird symbol on the door that said Manager with the symbol underneath it. It was a pair of wings with a sword in top and two gears on the left and large gear on the right. 'Gears, that implies machines of sorts, did the owner come from the same world as me and Nine did?' Ragna thought as he then voiced his question. "Say Izanami, know anything about the owner?" He asked.

Izanami smiled and nodded. "Indeed, I do, the Shop Owner's name is Ezekiel, he's very friendly but has a low tolerance for stupidity and rowdy behavior, I don't know much about his Familia or past, save for the fact he's retired Adventurer but back in his prime he was a Level 6 Adventurer." She explained.

"A Level 6 Adventurer." Ragna said, highly impressed by the skills and powers of this Ezekiel.

"He came around back when the Zeus and Hera Familias were in their glory days, and you can say he's one of the few Adventurers that has successfully retired at an old age as well." Izanami explained.

"So, this guy must have a plethora of experience." Ragna noted. "He's got to be lucky, being able to retire like that then." Ragna commented as he heard most Adventurers do not live to be old since their Falna can keep them going for a long time.

"I don't know why he retired." Izanami shrugged. "But he did live through during this city's dark time." Izanami said as she became a bit more subdued when mentioning that.

"Maybe he'd seen enough." Ragna offered, PTSD wouldn't be far off in his opinion if this guy did see some bad stuff.

"Maybe, but he's still a good soul and he has faced many difficulties in his life. In fact, these days he helps out new Adventurers that come to his shop and gives them advice on how to tackle challenges in the Dungeon and help them find Familias of their own." Izanami explained.

"Guess Bell didn't know about him." Ragna commented, if the owner is like what Izanami said he was, then he would have been of immense aid to Bell.

"He also tried to help find me some Familia members as well." Izanami revealed. "But like I said, he has a low tolerance for stupidity and said that any prospective candidates looking to join me weren't worthy as he said they were "Bloody idiots or Attention Seeking Pricks that would cause me no end of trouble."' Izanami explained.

"Well at least he kept you away from any problematic people." Ragna pointed out.

"I know that, he even banned the entirety of the Soma and Apollo Familias from ever coming into his shop again." Izanami said casually.

"Guessing those guys were kind of assholes of sorts." Ragna said coarsely.

"I'm not sure about Apollo's Familia but yeah, Soma's Familia are very troublesome and have received lots of complaints from the Guild for their attitude and actions." Izanami explained.

"Sorry for the wait!" Rain said as she came back with two cups of coffee and two plates of cake slices. "Enjoy." She said as she left to attend to another table as Izanami squealed in joy and started enjoying herself. While Ragna took a sip of the coffee and find it very much to his taste and hummed in approval as he then tried out the cake and found it rather tasty as well and enjoyed the meal with Izanami. All the while with the soft soothing violin music playing in the background.

After their meal at Revelations Izanami made another stop before they could head home and soon Ragna realized it was the shop where the Goddess Hestia is said to be working. That said, she wasn't working at the shop but at a food stand right now.

She has blue eyes and mid-thigh length black hair tied into two twin tails which reach down to her mid-thigh. She white mini dress with a blue ribbon around her neck and one tied under her breasts around her arms, and a pair of white gloves. All the meanwhile serving customers with a smile on her face. "Thank you for buying." She said to a customer.

"Hey there Hestia!" Izanami greeted as Hestia waved to her.

"Izanami, you took a break today?" Hestia asked curiously since Izanami is a very hardworking Goddess.

"Yes, I needed to buy more food for my children." Izanami explained.

"Your children?" She asked before realization struck. "You finally gained your Familia now?" She asked in excitement.

"Yes, six in total." Izanami said proudly as Hestia looked a bit jealous now.

"Six!" Hestia yelled. "That's not fair! How come you find six children while I go around asking for my own children and got nothing?!" She whined.

"Did you post a notice with the Guild?" Izanami asked.

"You can do that?!" Hestia said in shock and surprise.

"Yes, you can, but it's not a sure guarantee though." Izanami explained.

"Then how did you get six?!" Hestia demanded.

"Argo brought them to me." Izanami explained as suddenly Hestia grabbed her and started shaking her. "Wawawawawa!" Izanami cried out as she tried to get Hestia to let her go.

"Tell me who this Argo is and where I can find her?" Hestia ordered as suddenly Ragna pulled her back from Izanami and he helped steadied his Goddess.

"Personal space there." Ragna deadpanned. "Also, we don't know, Argo doesn't stay around in any place for too long."

"How come I can't seem to find anyone to join me?" Hestia whimpered kind of pathetically.

"To be fair, Argo did want to introduce us to you when we come to this city and we asked to find a Familia that would take us." Ragna explained to the miserable looking Goddess. "But you weren't there when we came though." He pointed out.

"Not there…you mean two days ago?" Hestia asked as Ragna nodded. Soon after that Hestia looked miserable as she started crying in a corner with a small cloud hanging around her head mumbling something about "Hermes, stupid drinking." And other stuff that both Izanami and Ragna couldn't help but sweat drop a bit.

"I think we should go now." Ragna said as Izanami nodded.

"So, in exchange for teaching Shinobu on how to make Healing Potions, our Familia is to get the Miach Familia drop items and a few other things from the Dungeon for them?" Nine asked for clarification.

"Yes, Miach helped me so much when I first came here and I want to repay him." Izanami said with a determined look.

"That's fine." Nine nodded. "All the items that they most likely need are in the Dungeon Floors that we're going to be training Bell and Emma in, and after doing some research, I can safely say that all of us save for Bell and Emma can head towards the Seventeenth Floor." Nine said casually.

"Isn't that where the Monster Rex spawns?" Izanami said in worry.

"Monster Rex?" Akame asked.

"The Monster Rex is an especially powerful monster that only appears on certain Floors. Unlike common Monsters, a Monster Rex takes longer to respawn due to how powerful one is with timing being different depending on how powerful a Monster Rex is. People tend to call them Floor Bosses because of this." Nine explained.

"Please don't tell me, you plan to go there and fight it." Izanami said in concern.

"As much as I would like to, it's foolish to do it with this number, also it's recommended to be Level 2 before taking it on." Nine said casually. "So, for now we'll only go down the Sixteenth Floor for now." She said as Izanami sighed in relief.

"So Akame, how was Bell and Emma's progress today?" Nine soon asked.

"They can go to the Third Floor now without my help." Akame reported. "I think it's possible for them reach the Seventh Floor by the end of the week."

"Excellent, and what about Emma's progress in learning her Skill?" She questioned.

"I had tried to use it but so far, nothing's happening." Emma said sadly.

"Don't worry, you'll find out how to use it soon." Bell said kindly as Emma smiled and nodded.

"Maybe it's a Skill that needs something to trigger it like Shinobu's Skill needs a sword in order to activate it or ingest poison." Ragna offered up.

"I will try that then." Emma nodded.

"Now that me and Akame got new swords to use, I believe we can start sparring and then perhaps teach you how to use Breathing Styles." Shinobu said as Bell and Emma looked exited but then a loud noise can be heard outside with something landing with enough force to cause a shake of the ground alarming everyone.

"What the Hell?!" Ragna cursed as he stood up from his seat followed by the others.

"It came from the Gardens." Akame noted as everyone rushed outside to the Gardens and soon everyone saw a woman standing in front of their garden. She was a young pale woman with long black messy hair, though at the end there a knot to keep it from flow all over, her outfit could hardly be called an outfit at all since it looks like rags and tattered clothes holding it together showing off a fair amount of skin. She also wore bandages wrapped around her left arm and she stared at them with sharp eyes.

"What the fuck do you want?!" Ragna snarled as he brought out his sword and aimed at her.

The woman turned to Ragna and then turned to the rest of the group before she spoke. "My name is Velvet Crowe and I wish to speak with the Goddess known as Izanami." She said to the group.

"And what do you want with her?" Nine demanded as she lit up flames in her hands as Shinobu and Akame drew their blades and stood in front of Izanami as both Emma and Bell guarded her side.

"Calm down, we're not here to fight, we're here to join her Familia." Velvet explained.

"We?" Izanami questioned as she didn't see anyone else with her. Then suddenly a very large figure stood up from the crater and everyone realized this was the one that made the crater. The second figure was a heavily armored giant with large Prayer Beads around his chest and he wore a helmet with deer antlers on them and held a giant spear in his arm staring at them.

"Like I said before we only want to join your Familia." Velvet explained to them. "And that right there is Honda Tadakatsu." She introduced the giant in the crater
