Chapter 2: Disney Town Part 2
Roxas is having dreams of Sora and his adventures again. This time, it's the dreams about his adventures to other worlds. It starts at the Ever Grande Conference with Prof. Oak declaring Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy as junior heroes. It then cuts to Sora and Cloud, telling each other to keep searching for their lights. It then cuts to Mystic Ruins with Sonic telling Sora that he has friends in his heart. It then cuts to Saint Sanctuary with Sora promising Seiya that he will find Saori. It then cuts to Sora summoning his first Summons, Team Go-Getters. It then cuts to Odaiba, where T.K. asked Gatomon to join Sora and find Kari. It then cuts to Sweet Paradise, where Sora found Riku carrying Hamtaro and Bijou. It then cuts to Dreamland, where Tiff dreams of traveling to other world. It then cuts to Megaland, where Roll promised to help Megaman for next year's robot festival. It then cuts to Planet Namek, where Sora found Riku again and the red-headed girl he still can't say the name of. It then cuts to Sora and Goku, after they escaped the exploding Namek, talking about how Sora flew. It then cuts to Sora sealing a Keyhole in West City and Goku telling Gohan to join Sora. It then cuts to Animal Village, where Sora said good-bye to Ai and her friends, telling them that he's looking for his friends. The dream ends after that. It then cuts to Diz in the computer room and then to a blonde hair girl wearing a white dress in a giant white room with some kind of capsule. Roxas then starts speaking to her.
Roxas: Who are you?
The girl turns around and smiles at him. When Roxas woke up, he wipes his eyes. The blonde girl is standing besides him, but when he turns around, she disappears. He then got out of bed, quickly got dressed, and left his home.
The 3rd Day
Roxas returns to the secret place, but no one was there. He found a letter, picks it up, and starts reading it.
Meet us at the station. Today's the day we hit the beach. And don't worry about the munny.
From, Mickey Mouse
He left the secret place and walks around town, where he saw Donald and Minnie.
Minnie: Morning, Roxas.
As they walked towards Roxas, they suddenly froze for a moment. Roxas ran towards them, wondering what happened. Then the same blonde girl appears in front of him, which made him stop in front of her.
Girl: Hello, Roxas.
Roxas: Hi...Who are you?
The girl holds up her hand to quiet him.
Girl: I wanted to meet you at least once.
Roxas: Me?
Girl: Yes, you.
Roxas scratched his head, as the girl turns around and starts walking away.
Girl: Come. Follow me.
She went around the corner of the town. Suddenly, Donald and Minnie returns to normal and starts walking towards Roxas.
Donald: Can you believe Minnie? She dragged me along to go shopping.
Minnie: Actually, I was looking for Mickey. Do you wanna come along, Roxas?
Roxas: Guys, did you see that...
He points them to where the girl was heading, but they see nothing.
Donald: He's stalling...
Minnie: Very well. We'll see you later. OK, Roxas?
Roxas: Sure.
Donald and Minnie walks away, as Roxas starts going to where the girl was going.
Roxas: Did she go to the haunted mansion?
He follows her to the woods, But when he got there, a dark portal appears, and out came the same white creatures. One of them tried to grab Roxas.
Roxas: LET ME GO!
He slaps it away from him and ran away. He ran all the way to the sandlot, where Seifer's gang is waiting.
Seifer: Hey, chicken wuss. Where are you going?
Before Roxas could answer, the white creatures appeared.
Fuu: What are they?
Seifer: I don't know. But they have crossed the line! Fuu, take Vivi away as fast as you can! Rai, help me out!
Roxas found a club by the side of him and grabs it. He hits the creature with it, but still has no effect. The creature pushed him aside and he tried to get up. The creatures then surround Seifer's gang.
Roxas: This is not good at all.
Suddenly, Seifer's gang froze in place and the creatures went after Roxas. They were about to surround them, when suddenly...
?: Roxas! Use the Keyblade!
Roxas looks around to see the same blonde girl on top of a building. The creatures starts floating towards Roxas, who held his hands up in front of them, but then a white light engulfs him. When he opens his eyes, he found himself on a giant circular platform. The platform shows a boy with brown spiky hair and wears a red jumpsuit, a black and white jacket, a blue belt around his waist, a necklace with a crown on it, white fingerless gloves, and big yellow shoes. The boy had his eyes closed, as if he were sleeping, and carries a Keyblade. Besides him are four bubbles. One of them is a boy with silver hair, the other is a girl with red hair, the other is a green duck, and the last one is a light purple Tasmanian Devil with a cream-colored face. Roxas recognizes the boy in the platform.
Roxas: Sora...Why is it always you?
A sword, a shield, and a staff appears in a burst of light. Roxas walks towards the sword, which has a yellow handle and a red circle on it, which shows a shadow of a bunny. He picks it up and receives the power of a warrior. the sword disappeared and was replaced with the Keyblade. The white creatures appeared and started approaching Roxas, but he easily manages to finish them off with the Keyblade. After finishing off the creatures, a red chest appears on one end of the platform. He opens the chest and receives a Potion. Suddenly, a door appears on the other end of the platform. A mysterious voice then spoke to Roxas.
Be careful. Beyond that door lies a completely different world. But don't be afraid. Don't stop walking.
He opens the door and came across another platform with Sora and the four bubbles besides him. He went through a series of platforms, defeating the white creatures that gets in his way, until he came across the last platform with a door on it. he opens the door and walks into it, revealing another platform with Sora in it. As he walks to the middle of the platform, he turns around and noticed something bigger than him. He walks back, as something reached it's white hand out and steps on the platform with it's giant white foot. He then ran to the end of the platform and nearly fell, but regains his balance and turns to see a giant white humanoid creature with a cross on it's face, wears a giant blue scarf, and a zipper running across it's body. Roxas got into his fighting stance.
Roxas: I better defeat that creature.
He charges at it, but got blinded by the light. When the light dies down, he found himself in midair, with his arms and legs stuck by some dark energy. The giant creature approached him and was about to punch him, but he jumps out of the way and slashed the creature away. It then stretched it's arms and grabs him. It then tossed him up the air and was about to punch him, as he fell down, but he dodged it's attack and slashed it's face again. The creature slithers to the other end of the platform and Roxas follows it. As he reached for the end of the platform, it starts shaking and tilts downwards and he starts falling. He manages to stop his fall, by slamming his Keyblade to the edge of the platform. He then saw the creature standing upside down, charging up it's giant energy sphere. It then jumps off the platform, causing it to tilt again, and making Roxas fall off the platform. The creature then threw it's energy ball at Roxas, but he threw his Keyblade at the energy ball, destroying it. Roxas and the creature fell back down to the platform.
Roxas got back up, grabs his Keyblade, and starts hitting the creature in a series of slashing combos. The creature got back up and starts hanging upside down, summoning a bunch of white bird-like creatures called Creepers. Roxas manages to finish them off and focused on the giant creature. The creature stood right side up again and fires white electricity, which Roxas dodged. He then proceeds to jump up the creature's face and finished it off with a strike. The creature's head starts to wobble, as Roxas's Keyblade disappears from his hand. The creature fell on him and engulfs him in darkness. Roxas was trying to get himself free from the darkness, but it still keeps swallowing him. Suddenly, a hand came and grabs his hand, which engulfs him in light. When the light dies down, he found himself in a white room with the blonde girl sitting in front of him. Roxas was about to speak, but the girl puts a finger to her lip.
Girl: My name is Namine. I'm so glad to meet you, Roxas. But do you know your true name?
Before Roxas could answer, a black-cloaked figure appears and grabs Namine's arm.
Figure: Say no more, Namine.
Namine: But if no one tells him, Roxas will-
Figure: It's probably best that he doesn't know the truth. You got other things to do. Like helping Sora.
Roxas: Hey! You're that pickpocket! And how do you know someone like Sora?
Figure: Sorry, Roxas. But our meeting is over.
The figure stretched out his hand and a dark portal appears behind Roxas. Roxas stood back from it, but the figure pushed him into it. Roxas ends up back in the sandlot.
Rai: Seifer, strike a pose, you know?
Seifer: How's this?
Rai: That's totally perfect, you know?
Roxas got up to see Seifer's gang. Seifer is striking poses with Fuu taking pictures of him.
Rai: How about one more, you know?
Roxas: What was that for?
Fuu: Keepsake.
Rai: Those freaks in the white jumpsuits are gone, you know?
Fuu: Cakewalk.
Roxas: What are those things?
Seifer: Outsiders, that's what. And if they don't wise up to the rules around here, I might have to take "disciplinary measures."
Rai: Oh, yeah! Seifer's always lookin after the town, you know?
Roxas then turns to see Mickey, Donald, and Minnie outside of the sandlot. The three saw Roxas with Seifer's gang, gave a disappointed look, and walks away.
Roxas: Wait, you guys!
He ran after them.
Seifer: Hey! Don't chicken out of the tournament tomorrow!
Rai: We'll be waitin, you know?
Mickey, Donald, and Minnie are black in their secret place, having blue ice cream again. Roxas walks in.
Donald: So, you hang out with Seifer's gang today?
Roxas: No...It's nothing like that...How was the beach? Wasn't that today?
Minnie: We didn't go. We went to see Goofy instead. It wouldn't be the same without you, Roxas.
Roxas: Sorry.
He looks down for a moment, then he turns to Mickey.
Roxas: How about we go tomorrow? We could get some bananas and-
Mickey: Sorry, but I promised I'd be somewhere.
Roxas looks down in disappointment, then he remembers the Struggle Tournament.
Mickey: Well, I gotta go. See you tomorrow, guys.
He left the secret place. Roxas looks back at him. The screen then fizzles.
Restoration at 48%.
Back in the computer room with Diz and the figure.
Figure: Was that Namine made of data?
Diz: No...Namine hijacked the data herself. Now, look what she's done. She's totally beyond my control.
He slams his fist on his desk.
Diz: She should be helping out with Sora's awakening! Not give Roxas our plans!
Figure: Calm down.
Diz: It doesn't matter. As long as Namine accomplishes her goal, we wouldn't worry about what would befall Roxas.
That night, Roxas has more dreams of Sora. This time, his adventure at Hollow Bastion. Sora was having a flashback about a little red-headed girl with her grandma. It then cuts to Sora losing the Keyblade to Riku. It then cuts to Dizzy protecting Sora from Riku, Plucky rejoining them, Sora reclaiming the Keyblade from Riku, and Tuxedo Mask rejoining Sora's group after their battle with Riku. It then cuts to Sora battling the black-cloaked figure. It then cuts to Riku being possessed by Ansem, as he is about to strike Sora with his Dark Keyblade, but Sora blocks it with his own Keyblade, telling him that he's not taking Kairi's heart. This time, he did say the name of the red-headed girl without it being cut off. It then cuts to Sora releasing Kairi's heart by stabbing himself with the Dark Keyblade. Kairi ran up to him, but he disappears. It then cuts to Kairi protecting the Sora Heartless and returning him back to normal. It then cuts to Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith at Hollow Bastion, telling Sora that they'll never forget each other. It then cuts to Kairi giving Sora the Oathkeeper Keychain. It then cuts to Sora sealing the Keyhole at Hollow Bastion. Roxas then wakes up again and looks out the window.
Roxas: Right...Promise...
He then moves his arm around and scratched the back of his head.
Roxas: What a mess...
He quickly got dressed and left his home.
The 4th Day
Roxas went back to the secret place, but no one was there. A man told him to go to the sandlot for the Struggle Tournament. Nearly the entire town is there.
Aladdin: This should be good.
Ariel: I can't wait to see who will be champion.
Beast: So far, the finalists are Roxas, Mickey, Seifer, and Vivi.
Donald: Who are you gonna root for? Roxas or Mickey?
Minnie: Both of them, silly.
The fireworks goes off and standing in the middle of the ring was an old white duck wearing a top hat, blue coat, and glasses. The duck is named Scrooge Mcduck. He is Donald's uncle and announcer of the Struggle Tournament.
Scrooge: Ladies and gentlemen! Struggle-fiends of Disney Town! It's time for summer's most sizzling clash! Today is the day for the Struggle and title match! Who will be the one to break through the ranks and take on our champion, Setzer?
Rai: Seifer, you know?
Scrooge: And who will leave today, as our new Struggle Champion?
Donald & Minnie: MICKEY! ROXAS!
Girls: SETZER!
The guy who walks in has silver long hair, wears a white long sleeve shirt with a black coat over it, black pants, and silver boots. He is known as Setzer. He waves to the crowd, who chants his name.
Scrooge: Yes, the crowd is fired up. So you know what comes next. Let's...
Everyone: STRUGGLE!
More fireworks went off, as Goofy walks up the arena.
Goofy: Hey, now! It's time to introduce today's combatants! The four bad boys, who struggled their ways through the preliminaries! Regular finalist and head of the Disney Disciplinary Committee: Seifer! Completely out of nowhere. Who knew he'd make it so far this year? Vivi! An underground favorite and happy-go-lucky mouse: Mickey Mouse! It's his first trip to the finals! And Struggler number four, who happens to be my absolute favorite customer: Roxas!
Mickey and Roxas looks at each other, then looks back down.
Goofy: So, who will win this sweltering summer Struggle? Who will take home the grand prize? The summa cum laude of Struggle, the four crystal trophy! And a chance to take on our defending champion: Setzer!
Setzer held up his championship belt.
Goofy: It won't be long now, folks. I suggest our challengers go over the official Struggle Rules, before we begin.
The pairings are Roxas vs Mickey and Seifer vs Vivi. The rules are, whoever collects the most orbs wins. Scrooge gave them their clubs, Roxas and Mickey walks to the arena, and Mickey points his club at Roxas. Roxas looks quite upset. Mickey looks worried.
Mickey: Hey, what's wrong, Roxas?
Roxas: I'm sorry about yesterday.
Mickey: Are you still upset about that? Roxas, you need to let go of the past.
Roxas: Sorry, I've got alot on my mind.
Mickey: I'm sorry, buddy.
Roxas got in his fighting stance, as well as Mickey.
Goofy: Our first match of today's Struggle Tournament will be between Roxas and his best friend, Mickey!
Roxas and Mickey clashed their clubs with each other. Mickey leapt back and ran towards him, but Roxas dodged his club and strikes him from behind, making him lose some orbs. Roxas quickly collects all of the orbs. Mickey charges again, swinging his club back and forth towards Roxas, but Roxas leapt up and kicks Mickey in the face. Mickey loses more orbs and Roxas collects all of them. Mickey charges again, but Roxas leapt on Mickey's head, causing him to fall down. He then finished Mickey off and collects his last remaining orbs, ending the match. The final score is Roxas with 200 and Mickey with 0. The audience cheers for Roxas's victory.
Goofy: Roxas is the winner! Not even friendship will slow this kid down. Mickey put up a good fight, too.
Roxas ran over to Mickey, as the crowd cheers for Roxas.
Mickey: Aww, I can't believe I lost!
Roxas: That was amazing, Mickey.
He helped Mickey up.
Mickey: I guess I taught you well, huh?
Roxas: I had a lot of fun fighting you, Mickey.
Mickey: I did, too. Even though I lost by a landslide.
Roxas: Let's find something to cheer you up, huh?
Mickey: That's alright.
As the two friends left the arena, Seifer pushed them aside.
Seifer: Outta the way, losers.
Mickey: In a hurry to lose?
Roxas smiles, but then jumps to see Vivi besides him. Vivi just chuckles. Roxas noticed that this was not Vivi's usual giggles. It sounds nasty. Something is not right. Seifer and Vivi were on the stage. Seifer looks ready, but Vivi paid no attention to him, as he watched Roxas.
Seifer: Don't mess with your elders.
Vivi then turns to Seifer.
Goofy: Wow! Just look at those sparks fly! I guess Seifer didn't expect to fight one of his own boys!
Vivi leapt forward towards Seifer and threw a powerful slash, but Seifer jumps back.
Mickey: When did Vivi get so tough?
Aladdin: I don't know.
Beast: Vivi never fight like that before.
Vivi keeps attacking Seifer, who blocks all of his attacks. He slashed Vivi aside and an orb came flying out.
Seifer: You're mine!
Seifer ran up to the orb, but Vivi came in front of him and slashed Seifer so hard that he got knocked out.
Goofy: I...I don't know what just happened...But Vivi is the winner!
Vivi walks off stage.
Ariel: That was amazing! Vivi has overcame Seifer.
Seifer: No. That's not Vivi.
They all looked at him, confused. Seifer then walks past Roxas.
Seifer: Thrash him.
Seifer, Rai, and Fuu walks out of the sandlot. Roxas saw Vivi staring at him from the other side of the arena. Scrooge walks up to Mickey.
Scrooge: It looks like Seifer has withdrawn from the struggle for 3rd place.
Mickey: So, I'm in third now? ALRIGHT!
Roxas and Vivi went up the stage towards Scrooge, who gave them their clubs.
Scrooge: Keep it clean now, fellas.
Roxas and Vivi ran to the middle of the arena.
Goofy: And now, the match you've all been waiting for: Roxas vs Vivi!
Roxas charges at Vivi and hits him in a combo, making him drop some orbs, which Roxas picks up. Vivi counters with a Spin Attack, making Roxas lose alot of orbs. Roxas regains some of them, while Vivi took all the others. Vivi keeps leaping around the arena, but Roxas manages to land a hit on him, making him drop some more orbs, which Roxas collects. Vivi then doubles the size of his club and hits Roxas again, making him lose more orbs. Roxas wasn't gonna let Vivi win this. He leapt over Vivi and attacks him from behind, making him lose some more orbs, which Roxas collected.
Vivi slowly got back up, as Roxas prepares to land a finishing blow. But then the whole town froze again, except for Roxas and Vivi. Suddenly, a white mist engulfs Vivi. When the mist dies down, it reveals the same white creature that attacked Roxas. More white creatures then appeared and attacked Roxas.
Roxas: AGAIN? Why does this always happen to me?
The Keyblade reappears on Roxas's hand again. He manages to wipe all of them out. He was panting heavily.
Roxas: Man...where are...those things...coming from?
He looks around to see everyone is still frozen. Suddenly, he hears clapping from behind and turns around. He saw a black-cloaked figure clapping for him.
Figure: Roxas. Alright. Fight, fight, fight. You really have improved.
The figure walks towards Roxas. Roxas looks at him with a confused look.
Figure: You really don't remember me?
The figure removes his hood to reveal a man with long red spiky hair and markings under his eyes.
Man: It's me. You know, Axel.
Roxas: Axel?
Axel: Talk about blank with a capital "B." Man, oh man. Not even the Dusks are going to crack this up.
He then stretched his arms and out came two circular weapons called chakrams in a burst of flames.
Roxas: Wait a minute! Tell me what's going on!
Axel: This town is his creation, right? Sorry, but we don't have time for a Q&A. You're coming with me, conscious or not. Then you'll hear the story.
Roxas starts backing off. Then a gust of wind starts blowing weird.
Axel: Uh-oh. This doesn't look good.
Roxas looks at his Keyblade in frustration.
Roxas: WHAT'S GOING ON?
He threw his Keyblade to the ground. But then the Keyblade reappears in his hand, much to his surprise.
Axel: Number 13, Roxas. The Keyblade's chosen one.
Axel got in his fighting stance. Roxas's Keyblade starts glowing and he got in his fighting stance, too.
Roxas: OK, fine! You asked for it!
Axel threw his flaming chakrams at Roxas, but he dodged them. Roxas charges at Axel and did some damage to him. Axel leapt out of the way and threw his chakrams at Roxas again, doing some damage. Axel once again threw his chakrams at Roxas, but he dodged them again and charges at Axel again. Suddenly, Diz appears by digital teleportation to stop the fighting. Roxas turns to see Diz.
Axel: So, it was you after all.
He powers up his chakrams and threw them at Diz, but he deflects them with his barrier. He then turns to Roxas.
Diz: Roxas, this man speaks nonsense!
Axel: Roxas, don't let him deceive you!
The two shouted Roxas's name, but Roxas closed his eyes and held his head and ears.
Roxas: Mickey...Donald...Minnie...
The gust of wind starts blowing weird again. Roxas then yells to the air.
Roxas: MICKEY! DONALD! MINNIE!
The whole arena goes white and he hears cheering again. Roxas looks around to see he was back at the tournament. He saw Vivi in front of him, falling to the ground.
Goofy: What just happened?
Vivi got back up.
Vivi: Huh? How did I get here?
He then saw Roxas.
Vivi: Hello, Roxas. Where did Seifer go?
Roxas: Back to the alleyway.
Vivi: OK. Thank you.
He walks off the stage, as Mickey, Donald, and Minnie ran up to Roxas.
Goofy: Ladies and gentlemen! Roxas is our new top Struggler!
Roxas seems a bit upset about his encounter with Axel and Diz. Mickey noticed this.
Mickey: Roxas, are you OK?
Before Roxas could say anything, some fan girls screamed.
Girls: SETZER!
Roxas turns to see Setzer enter the arena with the crowd chanting his name.
Minnie: You better hurry, Roxas!
Roxas got up the stage and went up to Scrooge, who gave him and Setzer their clubs.
Scrooge: Play fair now, you two. You're both at the top of the bracket.
Setzer: There's only room for one of us here.
Scrooge: May the best man win.
Scrooge walks off the arena. Roxas and Setzer turns to each other.
Setzer: Hey, Rucksack. Let's make a deal. How about you throw the match for me?
Mickey: Roxas! Focus!
Setzer: How about you let me win and I'll make it worth your while?
Roxas: Get real!
Both of them got in their fighting stances.
Goofy: Roxas, our underdog hero, vs Setzer, our defending champion! The winner of this match will be the true champion! That's a bragging right for a whole year, folks!
Setzer: Whatever you think is right, you're wrong. And that, my friend, is a big mistake.
Setzer starts the battle by doing some quick jabs at Roxas, but Roxas dodged the attack and attacks Setzer from behind, making him drop some orbs, which Roxas picks up. Setzer proceeds to slash his club at Roxas, who blocks all of his attacks. Roxas jumps over Setzer and kicks him in the back, making him drop some more orbs for Roxas to pick up. Setzer then proceeds to do a Spin Attack, jumping in the air, and hitting Roxas, making him drop alot of orbs. Roxas manages to regain some of them, while Setzer grabs the rest. While Setzer is standing around, admiring his hair, Roxas proceeds to attack him, making him drop more orbs. The timer ran out, ending with Roxas having 150 orbs, while Setzer has only 50 orbs. Roxas has won the championship. The audience cheers for Roxas's victory.
Setzer: I wasn't suppose to lose, but well done, kid. You defeated the champion.
The audience chants Roxas's name. Setzer walks away, then he stops and points at him with a smile. Mickey, Donald, and Minnie ran up to Roxas.
Minnie: You did it, Roxas!
Donald: That was awesome!
Scrooge hands Roxas the trophy and the championship belt. Roxas held up the belt, as the audience chants his name. The belt has a symbol of a club on it. The trophy looks like a blue trophy with four crystal balls on it. Roxas and his friends are sitting on the clock tower later that day. Roxas took the yellow crystal and gave it to Minnie, he tossed the red one to Mickey, and the green one to Donald, who almost drops it. He took off the blue one and held it in front of him to the sun.
Roxas: As promised.
Donald: Thanks a lot, Roxas.
Mickey: Another treasure for us to share.
Everyone held their crystal balls to the sky. Minnie then puts hers down.
Minnie: I've got a present, too. For all of us.
She pulls out four blue ice cream. Roxas stood up, but then lost his balance and he fell off the tower. The screen then fizzles. Meanwhile, on a faraway island called Destiny Islands, a girl with long red hair and wearing a white sleeveless sailor fuku and blue skirt was walking back home.
?: Kairi! Wait up!
Kairi turns around and see her friend, Selphie, also wearing the same clothes as her, running towards her.
Selphie: What a nice sunset.
Kairi: It sure is.
Selphie: Do you wanna come to the island with me? I tried to ask Tidus and Wakka, but they are all wrapped up in their ball game. They won't come with me.
Kairi: Not today, sorry.
Selphie: Why not?
Kairi: I have other things to think about. Do you remember those boys apart from Tidus and Wakka, who used to hang out with us?
Selphie: Riku?
Kairi: Yeah.
Selphie: I wonder what ever happened to him? I sure do miss him.
Kairi: He's far away. But I know we'll see him again.
Selphie: Sure. Tidus said he would.
Kairi: And the other boy?
Selphie: What other boy?
Kairi: The one who was with me and Riku all the time. We played together on that island. His voice always used to be there...but now, it's gone. I can't remember his face or name. I feel awful about it. So I told myself, I'm not going back to the island, until I remember everything about him.
Selphie: Are you sure you're not making him up?
Before Kairi could answer, someone was speaking to her in mind.
?: Namine?
Kairi held her head and fell to her knees. The screen fizzles again. It then cuts to Roxas falling from the clock tower.
Roxas: Namine? What's happening to me?
Kairi: Who are you? And that's not my name. My name is Kairi.
Roxas: Kairi? I know who you are. You're that girl he likes.
Kairi: You know him? Please, tell me a name.
Roxas: My name is Roxas.
Kairi: OK, Roxas. But can you tell me his name?
Suddenly, another voice came in.
?: You don't remember my name? Thanks alot, Kairi!
Kairi gasped at his remarks.
?: OK, I guess I can give you a hint. It starts with an "S."
It cuts to Kairi lying on the ground. Selphie was kneeling down to her and helps her up.
Selphie: Are you OK?
Kairi nods and looks at the sea. She smiles and ran near the water with Selphie following her.
Selphie: What are you doing, Kairi?
Kairi puts her bag down, placed the bottle in the water, and watched it sail away. The bottle has a letter in it.
Selphie: What's that?
Kairi: It's a letter. I wrote it yesterday, to the boy I can't remember. No matter where he is...I'll find him one day. And when I stopped writing, I remembered we made a promise, a very special one. I know this letter is where it starts.
Selphie: I sure hope he gets it.
Kairi: He will. It starts with an "S."
The screen fizzles for a brief moment.
Kairi: Isn't that right, Sora?
The screen fizzles again.

Back in the computer room with Diz and the figure, the figure is juggling the blue crystal ball up and down.
Diz: His progress is astounding.
Figure: So, what happened?
The figure stops juggling the ball and puts it back in the money pouch.
Diz: Apparently, Namine's encounter with Roxas has put his heart in contact with Kairi's heart. And in doing so, this has also affected Sora's heart.
Figure: Namine...She's a wonder.
Diz: She wasn't born like other Nobodies. Sure she can interfere with the hearts and memories of Sora and those aligned with him. But that shall soon change.
Figure: But who's Nobody is she?
Diz: I could tell you...But first, could you tell me your true name?
The figure took off the hood, revealing himself to be a brown man with long silver hair.
Man: It's Ansem.
Diz then laughs at this and turns to smile at Ansem.
Diz: It's an honor to meet you, Ansem.
