Chapter 4: Disney Town Part 4
As Roxas went to sleep again, he dreams of the last bit of Sora's memories, as he saw Sora and his friends outside the End of the Worlds. It starts with Sora talking about all the worlds being restored, but also worries that the worlds will be disconnected and that he'll never see his friends. It then cuts to Sora fighting Master Hand and Crazy Hand. It then cuts to Ansem saying that all worlds begins and ends in darkness and that the heart's true essence is darkness. Sora denies that, saying that while the heart may give in, there's a light that never goes out. It then cuts to Sora and his friends destroying Ansem's vessel and Ansem turning to Kingdom Hearts to fill him with the powers of darkness. Sora reveals that Kingdom Hearts is light, as it consumes Ansem in light. It then cuts to Buster Bunny holding up his Keyblade, telling Sora to close the door for good, as Sora and his friends closed the door, with Riku telling him to take care of Kairi. Sora then used his Keyblade to make the door disappear. It then cuts to Sora running up to Kairi, but then the cracks separated them, but Sora promised that he would come back to her.
It then cuts to Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, and Elder-Ham walking down the yellow path on a green field. Sora told his friends that they must find Riku and Buster. They then saw Furrball with Buster's letter. Furrball told the gang to follow him and they did. It then cuts to night time at the green field, with Sora encountering a black-coated figure. He follows the figure to a strange castle called Castle Oblivion. It then ends with the screen fizzling out. It then cuts to two cloaked figures at the beach.
Figure 1: I've been able to see him. He looks alot like you.
Figure 2: Who are you?
In an unknown city, it was raining hard. A bunch of Heartless surrounds a black-hooded figure. The figure pulls out two Keyblades. One is called Oathkeeper and the other is called Oblivion. He took care of a bunch of Heartless. He then looks up the top of a building with a boy, who wears a same black coat as the figure, except that he has the hood down, revealing his long silver hair. He has a blindfold around his eyes. The figure ran up the building and threw the Oblivion to the blindfolded boy, who jumps down and grabs it. The boy and the figure took out the Heartless and the two clashed their Keyblades. The figure knocks the boy down the ground.
Boy: Why? Why do you have the Keyblade?
Figure: SHUT UP!
As the figure strikes his Keyblade, the screen whites out. Roxas woke up and he rubs his eyes. He looks at his hands and saw that he was wearing white gloves. He was thrown back at what he looked at. As he got out of bed, he was wearing a red jumpsuit and yellow shoes and then back to his regular clothes. He opens the window, rubs his eyes, got dressed again, and left his home.
The 6th Day
Roxas returns to the secret place and walks up to Mickey, Donald, and Minnie, who were talking.
Roxas: Man, I could not sleep last night. Must've been a bad case of nightmares.
He then saw that they were not paying attention to him.
Roxas: Guys?
He tried to put his hands on Mickey's shoulder, but then his hand slid through him.
Roxas: WHAT?
Mickey, Donald, and Minnie walks out through Roxas. Roxas watched them leave.
Roxas: What's going on?
He walks over to the photo that was on the chair. It shows Mickey, Donald, and Minnie, but no Roxas. He begins to panic. He ran out of the secret place and noticed that the town was empty. Suddenly, the same white creatures appeared. Roxas then turns around to see Axel appear from a dark portal.
Axel: Look at what it's come to. I've been given an icky order to destroy you...if you refuse to return to us.
Roxas: Axel...We're best friends, aren't we?
Axel scratched his head.
Axel: Sure...but I'm not getting turned into a Dusk for...Wait a minute! Did you remember, now?
Roxas: Yeah.
Axel: Great! But just to make sure you do remember. What's our boss's name?
Roxas tried to remember, but he didn't.
Axel: I can't believe this.
Roxas picks up the stick and it became a Keyblade. He took care of the white creatures, including a new type called Assassins. They are white creatures with a bunch of blades on the sides of their arms. Roxas turns to Axel. Axel pulls out his weapons and was about to strike, when suddenly, he froze. He then hears a voice.
?: Roxas, to the mansion! The time has come!
Roxas: MICKEY! DONALD! MINNIE!
?: Forget it! It won't help you like last time. Come if you wanna meet Sora!
Roxas did what he was told, as he left the back alley. Axel, who was later unfrozen, realizes that Roxas was gone.
Axel: The Roxas I knew is long gone now. Fine, I see how it is.
Roxas ran all the way to the forest, fighting the white creatures along the way. He made it to the front gate of the mansion. He tried to open the gate, but it was locked. Then the white creatures caught up to him.
Roxas: Oh, come on! Don't call me and then lock me out.
Then he had a vision of Sora pointing the Keyblade at something.
Roxas: Of course. Use the Keyblade to get in.
He steps back and points the Keyblade at the lock of the gate. A beam came out of the Keyblade onto the lock. The gate then opens and Roxas quickly ran in. The creatures tried to follow him, but a dark portal appears and Ansem appears, holding the Soul Eater. The gate closed behind him. He got in his fighting stance, as the white creatures charged at him.
Roxas got in a mansion and encounters more white creatures, including the Creepers and Assassins. The Creepers got into their sword forms and clashed with Roxas's Keyblade. The Assassins sneaks up from underground and attacks Roxas. He manages to finish off the creatures and quickly proceeds to the second floor of the mansion. He enters the white room, where he met Namine. He walks through the room, looking at the artwork, until he came across a picture, which looks like him walking through a city. All of a sudden, He groans and clutched his head in pain.
He had a flashback. He was in a dark city and it was raining. Roxas is seen wearing a black coat and he was walking through the city. Axel is still leaning on the building on the side of him, crossing his arms.
Axel: So, you're mind is made up, huh?
Roxas then stops.
Roxas: Why did the Keyblade choose me? I'm leaving to know more.
Axel: WHAT? You can't turn you back on the Organization!
Roxas then stops having a flashback and looks around the room. He turns to see Namine in her chair.
Roxas: Organization XIII...I hear that they are a bad group.
Namine: Bad or good. I don't know. They're a group of incomplete people, who wish to be whole. To that end, they're desperately looking for something.
Roxas: What are they looking for?
Namine: Kingdom Hearts.
Roxas chuckles for a bit. Namine looks concerned.
Namine: What's so funny?
Roxas: Nothing. It's just...I think...I've been running away from the question I really wanted to ask you.
He leans against the table.
Roxas: What's going to happen to me now? Tell me that. No one cares for me anymore. So nothing matters anywhere.
Namine: I care for you. And to answer your question, you are...
Before she could answer, she starts to glitter.
Roxas: Namine!
Namine disappears into data. Diz then appears to him in a flash of data and looks at Roxas.
Diz: I'm afraid there will be no knowledge that has the power to change your fate, young Roxas.
Roxas: You...even if it does, I still need to know. I have the right to know everything.
Diz: A Nobody does not have a right to know. Nor it has a right to be.
Roxas: What is a Nobody?
Ansem then appears to them from a dark portal.
Ansem: Diz, we're running out of time! There are too many Nobodies!
Diz: Then we must make haste. Come to the lab, Roxas. We'll talk then.
Another dark portal appears and Namine came out.
Namine: Roxas, Nobodies like us are only half a person. You won't disappear. You will be whole again.
Roxas: I'll...disappear?
Diz: No more outbursts from you!
He walks over to Namine and grabs her.
Namine: No, you won't disappear! You-
Before she could say something, Diz covers her mouth.
Roxas: WAIT!
Roxas tried to save her, but Ansem blocks his path.
Roxas: Outta my way, pickpocket!
Ansem: Sorry, but that won't do.
Namine manages to get her mouth free from Diz and she yells to him.
Namine: Roxas, we will meet again, and then we can talk about everything. I may not know it's you, and you may not know it's me. But we will meet again. Someday soon. I promise!
Diz drags her into the dark portal and they both disappeared.
Roxas: LET HER GO!
Ansem soon disappears, too.
Roxas: NAMINE!
Before Roxas leaves for the library, he grabs one of Namine's drawings. He then made his way to the library, fighting more of those white creatures along the way. Once he enters the library, he found a drawing that looks like one of Namine's drawing. He drew something on it. Then the table and the rest of the floor of the library lit up. Then it reveals a staircase to a secret room.
Roxas: Namine...Sora...Hold on.
He went downstairs and enters the room. He went to the computer room. The same room where Diz and Ansem were. All of a sudden, Roxas's head starts aching again. He remembers being in the white room with thirteen seats, where thirteen people in black coats are sitting on the seats. Among the revealed members are Lexaeus, Marluxia, Larxene, Axel, Zexion, and Vexen. The last revealed member is Roxas himself. It then cuts to him running away from the white creatures in the city. It then cuts to him defeating the blindfolded boy.
Boy: Why? Why do you have the Keyblade?
Roxas: SHUT UP!
As Roxas was about to strike with the Oathkeeper, the blindfolded boy strikes back with the Oblivion, knocking Roxas out. He then walks towards Roxas. The last thing he knew, he was laying unconscious under a machine that looks like a teleporter with Ansem and Diz looking down at him.
Ansem: Will it work?
Diz: If we can maintain the simulated town, until Namine finished chaining together Sora's memories.
Ansem: What will happen to Roxas?
Diz: He holds half of Sora's power within him.
He walks over to the computer.
Diz: I don't care what happens to him. In the end, he has to give his power back to Sora. Until then, he needs to have another personality to throw off his pursuers.
Ansem: Poor kid.
Diz: Don't worry. It's the fate of a Nobody.
He types on some of the keys on his computer. Then a beam came down from the teleporter and teleports Roxas into data and disappears. Roxas then remembers meeting Mickey, Donald, and Minnie for the first time. Roxas stops remembering and he got very angry. He was so angry and grabs his Keyblade.
Roxas: So, he did this to me?
He starts slashing the computers and monitors violently. As he stops as he was done, he was panting. He then noticed that the door has opened. He enters the room, where he found more white creatures attacking him. He quickly defeated them. Axel then enters the room with his arms crossed.
Axel: Simply amazing, Roxas.
Roxas: Axel.
Axel: So, you do remember me this time. I'M SO FLATTERED!
He created fire walls, surrounding the room in flames. Roxas looks around in shock.
Roxas: Axel, what are you doing?
Axel: But you're too late! Now, I will destroy you!
Roxas then took out two Keyblades. They are the Oathkeeper and Oblivion.
Roxas: If you won't stop this, then I will.
Axel then stretched his arms and summons his chakrams.
Axel: Well, come on then! I'll make it stop!
Axel threw his chakrams at Roxas, but he dodged them and he and Axel flew up and clashed their weapons. Suddenly, Axel caused the floor to change like a lava ground, like a volcano. Roxas looks down in shock. Axel then disappears into the fire wall, reappears behind Roxas, and slashed him. Roxas was thrown down, but lands on his feet, as he saw Axel disappear again. He saw him coming towards him this time, threw him, and follows after him, as he starts to attack him. Axel then got hit and fell onto his back. Roxas stabs him and the floor changes back to it's original form. Axel got up and powers up his weapons, causing them to go on fire and he threw them at Roxas. Axel disappears behind the flames again and reappears, as he slashed Roxas's arms, but Roxas counters it with a slash on his chest. Axel flew up in the air and Roxas leapt up and slashed him. Axel got up, changes the floor again, and pushed Roxas towards the ground. Roxas saw that he was about to fall on the hot ground, but then he leapt back, teleports behind Axel, and hits him on the ground, changing the floor again. Axel got back up and looks up to see Roxas gone. Roxas was below him and slashed him in the chest. Axel groans and fell to one knee. His weapons disappeared and so did the fire walls.
Roxas: Looks like I win.
He looks at Axel in pity. He remembers his last words to him, when he left the dark city.
Axel: If you get onto their bad side, they will destroy you!
Roxas: No one would miss me.
Axel: That's not true...I would.
Back to the present, Axel begins to disappear. Roxas looks at him.
Roxas: Hey, Axel...That was fun.
Axel: Let's meet again in the next life, Roxas.
Roxas: Yeah...me too...
Axel: Silly. Just because you have a next life...
He then disappears. Roxas watched, as his best friend disappears. He walks up to where he is and sighs.
Roxas: I'll see you later, OK?
He saw another door and walks through. He saw that he was walking through a corridor, which has a bunch of large capsules hanging on the walls and up the ceiling. He saw two creatures in there. One was a green duck wearing a white sleeveless shirt. The other was a light purple Tasmanian Devil with a cream-colored face and a yellow pinwheel cap.
Roxas: Plucky...? Dizzy...?
He was looking at Plucky and Dizzy in real life. He then enters the next door. The room was a huge white room with one huge capsule in the middle. In front of him was Diz.
Diz: At last, the Keyblade's chosen one has arrived.
Roxas: Who are you talking to? Me? Or Sora?
Diz: To half of Sora, of course. You reside in the Realm of Darkness, while he resides in the Realm of Light. I need someone, who can move into the Realm of Light and destroy Organization XIII.
Roxas: Why are you asking me? What or who are you?
Diz: Who am I? I am the servant of the world.(Laughs)And if I'm a servant, then you should be a tool at best.
Roxas: Was that suppose to be a joke? BECAUSE I'M NOT LAUGHING!
He took out his Keyblade. He ran at Diz and tried to slash him, but the Keyblade went through Diz and Roxas was on the other side. Roxas was in shock, as he stood up straight.
Diz: My apologies, Roxas. This is only a data-based projection. Come and attack me, if you dare.
Roxas turns in anger and yells. He tried to attack him again, but it keeps going through. Then Diz disappears and Roxas was completely out of breath. Then Diz reappears behind him.
Diz: Come, over here.
Roxas turns around in anger.
Roxas: I hate you so much. You took Namine away for no good reason and now, you're trying to make me turn against Axel.
Diz: Then maybe you should share some of the hatred with Sora. You see, he was far too nice for his own good.
Roxas: NO! My heart belongs to me!
He tried to attack Diz again, but he disappears and Roxas bumps into the capsule. The capsule suddenly opens. Roxas steps back to see who it was. Then he stops glaring and looks concerned.
Roxas: Sora...
Inside was a boy, floating and sleeping. He has light brown spiky hair and wears a red jumpsuit, a black and white jacket, a blue belt around his waist, a crown necklace, white fingerless gloves and big yellow shoes. The boy is named Sora. His clothes are a bit too small for him, however. Roxas slowly walks over to him.
Roxas: I finally get to meet you, Sora. And you're lucky. It looks like my summer vacation is...over.
Meanwhile, the same purple train came to the Disney Town train station. A figure in a black coat came out. He had light blue ears coming out from the top of the hood.
That's it for chapter 4. That's the end of Roxas's Arc. Next time, Sora will finally wake up and we will finally leave Disney Town.
