Eina let out an exhausted sigh as she worked over the file which contained the Izanami Familia's report on the new monsters that appeared three days ago. Luckily, thanks to detailed reports from the Izanami Familia, the Hermes and Ganesha Familia Adventurers were able to prepare themselves for the expedition into the Floors in which these new Monsters appeared. And based on the findings of the Adventurers that investigated the new Monsters, it seems that they were to become a permanent addition to the Dungeon. Thus, the Guild had to place warnings about the new Monsters, which caused a good number of Adventurers to get worried about the possibility of new dangerous Monsters being born; which the Guild can't deny as a possibility since there was still so much about the Dungeon that they don't know about.
"You finished categorizing the new Monsters yet?" Eina soon heard from one of her fellow coworkers.
"Yeah, it wasn't easy but I finished it and they categorized blue ones as Velociprey, the red ones as Ioprey, and the green ones as Genprey." Eina replied as she stacked her papers neat and orderly.
"Seem rather strange as names goes." Another one of Eina's coworkers noted as Eina shrugged Lord Ganesha went with it. "Still not as bad as this mess." She said as she frowned at the work on her desk, which held the files of all the Adventurers that have died courtesy of the new monsters.
"How many did die?" Eina asked in concern.
"So far we got confirmed reports of sixty Adventurers dead at the hands of those new monsters." She replied as everyone around her that heard that, grimace.
"That many Adventurers dead?" Another one couldn't help but ask in surprise.
"Fifteen dead at the hands of that Alpha Genprey, the rest were with Kibaou when that Bastard got them all killed." She said darkly as everyone else nodded as they also frowned as well.
As far as Adventurers go, Kibaou was a rotten apple since day one and was everything an Adventurer wasn't suppose to be. He was arrogant, conceited, spiteful, petty, envious, and had an overall bad attitude.
"Honestly." Another one of Eina's coworkers huffed, she didn't have any lost love for the creep since he tried to hit on her and invaded her personal space all the damned time. "We're better off without him, he's been nothing but trouble, and has been searching for trouble ever since the Izanami Familia killed that Goliath." She huffed as the others nodded.
"Speaking of the Izanami Familia, weren't you assigned to them?" One of Eina's coworkers asked as Eina groaned in annoyance. "Is it really true that they're as bizarre as the rumors go?"
"Don't remind me, they've been breaking all sorts of records since day one." Eina muttered, seriously where did Izanami find those kids? Half of them were absolute monsters in combat and could make even level 3 Adventurers look like pushovers.
"Going to the 12th Floor on their first day, killing a Floor Boss as level 1, discovering new Monsters." One of her coworkers listed out. "And I can't help but wonder where most of them come from, especially Honda." She said with a bit of a shiver as did everyone else who heard the name Honda.
Honda was the first being that all of them had seen that was that large, some of them panicked and screamed, others called for a Notice on Honda, until Izanami cleared it all out with them. And even then, Honda could go solo in the Dungeon and singlehandedly tear through the new monster like a heated knife through butter.
"Not a single one of them is normal." Another of Eina's coworkers said as she remembered meeting Nine, and seeing how temperamental she was.
"Don't group Bell, Emma, and Asuna with them." Eina protested. "They're perfectly normal."
"Sooner or later, all of them will break a record of some kind." One of her coworkers pointed out.
"Don't be ridiculous." Eina retorted.
"I mean they already managed to make it past the 5th Floor by themselves." Another of her coworker pointed out.
"Which means nothing as Adventurers are capable of doing that by traveling in groups." Eina pointed out in return.
"Good morning Miss Eina!" A happy male voice called out, as the Guild Workers turned to see Nine, Bell, Emma, and Asuna walking to her.
"Good morning to you too Bell." Eina returned the greeting with a smile of her own. "And to you too, Miss Asuna, Mister Emma, and Miss Nine. How has you Familia been doing?" She soon asked.
"We're fine." Asuna replied. "Nine said we should take a break though."
"I see, so why did you guys come here?" She soon asked.
"For two reasons." Nine spoke up. "Anything on the new monsters?"
"It seems they're to become a permanent addition to the Dungeon." Eina replied as some of the Izanami Familia winced.
"I see." Nine hummed in thought.
"From what we were able to discover, the typically spawn in packs of three, we just believe the reason why there were so many to begin with is because nobody had seen or encountered them and those that did, weren't so lucky." Eina explained to the group.
"I see, and how about the mist then?" Nine asked.
"Well the mist has weakened and based on theories we were able to collect, we believe that the mist only appears when the Alphas of the new monsters appear." Eina explained.
"Well the mist was the reason why so many Adventurers were killed, I imagine that the mist combined with the Alphas, would make them a serious threat for any Level 1 Adventurers, still though, not counting the Alphas would make them easier to deal with for higher ranking Level 1 Adventurers." Nine said, adding in her own observation.
"Hence why the new Floor Bosses are being classified as Level 2 Threats." Eina replied.
"Thanks for the heads up, and as for the second reason we're here." Nine said as she motioned Bell to step forward with a big smile.
"I'm Level 2 now!" Bell said happily as inside Eina's mind, glass shattering could be heard.
"I'm sorry, but could you please repeat what you said?" Eina asked with twitching eyes, she had to have misheard that right? It's not like Bell broke a record all of a sudden.
"I'm Level 2 now." Bell repeated again with his happy expression as suddenly Eina's face became clouded and hard to see as she lowered her head before she suddenly rose it up and glared at Nine with anger and annoyance.
"What's with the angry look?" Nine asked as she blinked at the expression directed to her.
"You corrupted him with your insanity!" Eina snapped.
"…I'm not following." Nine admitted.
"Level 2 in one month!" Eina yelled as everyone else turned to her in surprise. "The previous record was held by the Sword Princess of the Loki Familia!"
"Oh, then that's just another broken record we can add to our list of achievements." Nine preened at the attention with a smirk as Eina struggled to hold back a scream of annoyance as she turned to Emma and Asuna with a hopeful look.
"You two are still normal right?" Eina practically begged.
"We're still Level 1." Emma said as Asuna nodded.
"Thank goodness for small mercies." Eina sighed in relief.
"That can change when they go up against a Floor Boss." Nine said with a prideful smirk, and destroying Eina's small and good mood.
"Don't you dare corrupt these two!" Eina snapped at Nine. "It's bad enough Bell's one of you, but don't you dare drag anymore with you!"
"Um, Miss Eina?" Bell asked in confusion only to let out a yelp as Eina grasped his shoulders.
"Don't worry Bell, there's still time! You can come back to the light, just leave the dark side!" Eina pleaded with Bell as everyone around Eina and Bell sweat dropped a bit at the loss of Eina's sanity.
"Did you really had to knock out Miss Eina?" Emma asked nervously as they departed.
"Did you want Eina to keep on shaking Bell for a bit?" Nine asked as Nine got irritated and knocked out Eina with a spell before leaving.
"It's not like reaction was unfounded." Asuna pointed out.
"Mostly because of my Skill though." Bell pointed out sheepishly.
"Your Skill is really too powerful." Emma pouted.
"Isn't that the Pot calling the Kettle black considering what your Skill's capable of doing?" Nine pointed out as Emma laughed sheepishly at that. Truly Emma had such a ridiculous Skill.
Emma swung her sword down but found the spot where she had swung her sword at already empty as Akame dodged the attack with ease, Emma then rushed forward in hopes of catching Akame off guard. But sadly, the former Assassin already saw through her plan and dove down and swept her legs off the ground and knocking her down.
"Again." Emma groaned as she slowly got back up as her hands shook a bit from exhaustion and the beatdown she got so far.
"I would advise you to stop, you haven't regained your breath yet." Akame advised with a tinge of concern.
"No, I can still manage!" Emma said as she charged at Akame, as on the sidelines Asuna, Bell, Shinobu, and Velvet watched them spar.
"She's pushing herself too much." Shinobu noted in concern.
"So why is she doing this? Nine told us to rest." Bell noted in worry for Emma.
"I believe it may have something to do with the fact that you managed to level up Bell." Velvet said as she watched impassively.
"What do you mean by that?" Bell asked.
"People tend to feel inadequate when they compare themselves against others." Velvet said to him, remembering her old friend who felt he was never able to catch to his brother.
"And not wanting to fall behind, she must be training so hard to unlock her Skill." Shinobu noted with some approval but also worry.
As Emma was sparring, she managed to overhear all of that. And it was true, she was happy for Bell leveling up, but she also felt inadequate as well, despite joining at the same time as Bell and having a Skill over him, she had yet to learn how to use it, whereas after meeting Ezekiel, Bell gained two Skills, and proceeded to get much stronger, to the point that Naaza used him to deliver the final blow to the Floor Boss when they got ambushed by the new monsters. For all intents and purposes, Emma saw herself as the weakest link as Asuna had sword training before she joined. And so, she trained, hoping and hoping that whatever advice or training she took could help her unlock her Skill.
As she readied herself again for another fight, she remembered the various pieces of advice that were given to her.
'Maybe you have to find the right desire to activate it.'
'Think about what motivates you to push onward.'
'If your strength isn't enough, then believe what can give you strength to activate it.'
"But what could I do?" Emma muttered. Her long-term goal wasn't something grand like Bell's goal. It was simply to reunite with her sister, Sophia. To that end, she wanted to use Izanami Familia and in return be of use to them as well. And to do that…
Her eyes fell on the younger boy who was cheering her on. The boy who had dreams of becoming a Hero, who wanted to continue the legacy of his parents. So where did that put her? What did she want to do? How did she want to grow?
The answer came to her quicker than she thought, as she flipped the sword in her left hand over into a reverse grip. "I want to catch up and stand beside him too." Emma muttered.
"Oh?" Akame hummed as she raised an eyebrow at her.
"I don't want worry him or anyone else anymore. I'm not a little kid that has to be protected by my older sister anymore…and definitely not someone that can only make people younger than me worry!" She started shouting.
As she started to feel something burning against her back where the Goddess Izanami's Grace had been inscribed onto her back. Her body felt lighter…like there was a surge of energy flowing through her. No, something was really flowing through her body! Bright pink lights were slowly rising up from her body. This has to be it! Her Skill must have finally activated!
With her newfound Skill's activation, she lunged towards Akame. To her great surprise, and Akame's as well judging from her shocked face, Emma found herself right in front of the woman within a blink of an eye, only for the woman to sidestep…and for Emma failing to stop her movement.
"KYAAAAAAHH!"
"EMMAGAAAH!?"
Two shouts were heard as Emma collided into Bell as her Skill sent them crashing into each other and flying for a bit before hitting the ground rolling as both groaned in pain. Shinobu, Velvet, and Asuna were immediately at their side and quickly pulled the two of them apart and up.
"Looks like you two took a nasty tumble." Velvet noted as both Emma and Bell winced in pain.
"Oh my, it seems Emma's skills were far more potent than she thought." Shinobu uttered over in worry as she looked over the two. "But at least we know that it can be activated now."
"I'm sorry, you two." Akame rushed over and looked apologetic "I shouldn't have dodged and tried to catch you instead."
"It's fine." Emma said reassuringly. "I did suddenly move so fast and your first reaction is to dodge."
"Really, it's nothing to worry about." Bell added in.
And then suddenly both of them fell down, causing the people around them to get worried as they brought then in to be attended to. And soon the rest of the Familia also got in as well as they heard the commotion. "What happened to them?" Izanami questioned in worry.
"Emma used her Skill, and crashed into Bell, it may be a side effect of her Skill." Velvet explained.
"Then why are they like this?" Nine demanded in soft worry.
"We don't know why it's like this." Shinobu explained apologetically as Akame stood on the side looking very worried and guilty as Ragna patted her on the shoulder in comfort.
"Skill related then, could it be Emma's Skill? Maybe it has something to do with the Rhapsodia effect mentioned." Izanami muttered.
"Rhapsodia?" Ragna repeated. "Like the song?" He questioned.
"I didn't hear any song, just Emma glowing like Bell did when using one of his Skills, only hers was pink." Akame explained.
Soon Bell was getting up and groaning a bit as he rubbed his head. "Bell, how are you?" Izanami asked.
"I'm fine, just kind of tired." He groaned out as Emma got up as well.
"I just feel kind of exhausted is all." Emma said, suspecting this to be a medical emergency of some sorts.
"Emma being tired isn't worrying since she did use her Skill for the first time but why is Bell also tired? Could it be…that's it! I know why Bell and Emma are like this!" Izanami shouted.
"Mind explaining?" Nine asked.
"I mean, I probably won't know for sure unless I see it happen in front of me but from the sound of things, when Emma activated her Skill, she took on Bell's Status or at the very least a bit of his power. That's why she suddenly moved so fast, due suddenly gaining High Class Agility in a blink of an eye! As a result of that, Bell, being the one who had his power borrowed, felt tired since a part of his grace was gone and Emma becomes tired because she was running with two different Status overlapping each other!" Izanami explained clearly and concisely.
Silence hung in the room after Izanami explained everything as everyone just stared at Izanami with wide eyes and opened mouths with Bell even sitting up to show his surprised expression.
"That…sounds potentially amazing does it not?" Shinobu finally spoke up.
"Amazing? That sounds insane!" Asuna muttered.
"Wait does that mean if Emma had much stronger Adventurers to copy off of could she replicate their power as well?" Ragna hummed in thoughtful manner with Nine doing the same as well.
"I don't think that's possible." Emma winced as she rubbed her head. "Taking on Bell's powers was taxing on my mind and he's just a Level 2, I shudder to think what would happen to my head if I tried to take on a Level 7 Adventurer's power." She shuddered.
Akame was silent and still as she was in deep thought before she finally spoke. "Do you think you can copy more than one person's powers?" Akame asked thoughtfully.
"I don't know, but I don't want to find out just yet." Emma replied.
"She could potentially do that." Velvet commented. "All Skills are like a Muscle, the more you use it, the stronger and easier it gets." She noted.
"Forget the Kid's Skills, your Skill is insane." Ragna muttered.
"I suppose the next test would be to see if she could copy Magic Spells and Skills as well." Nine spoke up with an excited gleam in her eyes. "But for now, just let Bell and Emma rest for now."
"This is amazing Emma, you finally found out how your Skill works and how to use it." Bell said excitedly as Emma smiled and nodded as she can finally catch up to Bell and the others.
Back at Revelations Coffee Shop, Ezekiel was minding his own business, making coffee as he whistled alongside one of the songs that was playing inside his café and he heard the door bell ring to denote a new customer, and would have went about his business if it wasn't for the fact that this customer was a bit of an annoying friend. "How've you been Ezekiel?" A rather cheerful voice spoke up.
Ezekiel turned to see a slender man with orange hair and eyes, wearing a feathered hat, brown boots, trousers, with a green and light brown vertical tunic, and a red scarf. "Hermes, the usual then I presume?" Ezekiel questioned calmly as Hermes nodded as he readied a cup for him and slid it to him on his counter.
Hermes then took the drink and then took a table unoccupied as he sniffed his drink and took a nice long sip and sighed in relief. "As good as always Ezekiel, no one else can make drinks like you." He said happily.
"Cut the chitchat, what do you want?" Ezekiel said sharply as Hermes pretended to look offended.
"Ah come now Lone Wanderer, can't I come here to enjoy a good drink?" Hermes questioned as he said Ezekiel's most famous title back in his old world.
"If that was the case, you would have brought that poor girl with you, and wouldn't have mentioned that name." Ezekiel said as he narrowed his eyes at the God. "So, what do you want?"
Hermes sighed. "You make it sound like I'm nothing more than a troublemaker." He pouted as he received a deadpan look from Ezekiel in return. "Okay fine, I admit it, I'm just curious if you have heard about the incident in the Dungeon is all." He said.
"You mean how that moron Kibaou managed to get forty plus Adventurers killed because he was a sore loser?" Ezekiel said gruffly, he had met the man in question before, he was rotten to the core, and he tried to force himself onto one of his waitress's personal space, which resulted in Ezekiel punching the man's jaw and breaking it before banning him and his entire Familia from his shop.
"Yeah, that guy, and how the Izanami Familia manage to kill all of the new Floor Bosses despite being a relatively new Familia of Adventurers." Hermes said as he stared at Ezekiel. "And speaking about the Izanami Familia, they've been breaking all sorts of records." He added in.
Ezekiel sighed. "If it makes you happy then, yes they're all Drifters." He said as Hermes nodded, him being one of the few Gods to actually be aware of the Drifters and going about his own way to help them out, if they were good apples.
"I thought as much, though I am surprised since it's been a whole since a Drifter came down here to become an Adventurers and in this many numbers as well." Hermes noted.
"Not since the days of the Zeus and Hera Familia's Golden Age." Ezekiel commented as he sighed, remembering all the lost friends.
"Well here's some interesting tidbit of info, one of them managed became a Level 2." Hermes said as Ezekiel paid attention in interest. "It's that boy Bell Cranel, he sounds very interesting if I do say so myself." Hermes said as Ezekiel nodded.
"Unsurprising, considering his parents are of the Zeus and Hera Familia." He said gruffly as Hermes spat out his drink in shock. "I am going to have to clean that up." He said flatly.
"What are you talking about? There's no survivors from either Familia." Hermes said nervously as Ezekiel sighed.
"Cut that crap out, I knew who Bell's parents were from the start, I can see much of Meteria in that boy." Ezekiel retorted.
"You did?" Hermes asked in surprise.
"Yes, you know full well what I do, and the kid was here when I told him about the Drifters and seeing how familiar he was, and then hearing his last name, I put it together that he was Meteria's boy. Speaking of which, why did Zeus never tell Bell about his parents?" Ezekiel questioned.
"You also told him about his parents?" Hermes blinked.
"He does come here every weekend to learn as much as he could about them, and did you know that Zeus faked his death?" Ezekiel questioned being less than impressed with Zeus's less than stellar parenting.
"Zeus thought it was a great idea." Hermes sighed. "And you know why he never talked about Bell's parents; the pain is still there."
"Figured as much." Ezekiel nodded. "Still going to beat up the old fool for ditching the kid though."
Hermes laughed sheepishly at that, Zeus and Ezekiel never saw eye to eye on some things, and Zeus had an amazing talent of driving up the old man up the wall before he remembered something else that was more important. "By the way did you ever told Bell about his…aunt?" Hermes asked.
"Absolutely not!" Ezekiel snapped angrily at Hermes. "The boy is happy enough to know about his parents, I will not give him the burden of knowing that his aunt is none other than Alfia and he doesn't need to know that he's related to someone that tried to destroy this city." He said very intensely as he glared at Hermes, and before Hermes wasn't Ezekiel the Coffee Shop Owner or Ezekiel the Level 6 Adventurer, but rather Ezekiel, the Lone Wanderer and Messiah of the Capital Wasteland.
"Okay, okay! I was just asking is all, no need to bit my head off." Hermes said raising his hands in surrender. "And I agree with you, if it's ever known that Bell is Alfia's nephew there's no telling what kind of danger he could be put in."
"Damn straight, but don't worry, Bell's in good hands." Ezekiel said as he calmed down.
"Still at least the kid found a good Familia, Izanami's a great Goddess, and I don't know much about the Drifters in question but I imagine they're the good sort if you haven't dealt with them yet." Hermes noted.
"All of the Drifters that I met that joined Izanami are good folks, even if some of them are covered in the scent of blood." Ezekiel said thinking strongly to Akame and Ragna having that strongest scent.
"I guess Zeus will be surprised to hear that, he honestly did not expect much out of Bell." Hermes said as Ezekiel scoffed. "Not my words, his, said he found him lacking in some important bits."
"Like what?" Ezekiel questioned.
"Said that while Bell may have backbone and patience, he said he's lacking in character." Hermes explained.
"Bell's young he will have plenty of time to achieve that, but let me tell you something, the moment I told that boy about his parents, his eyes cleared up as he knew what legacy he was carrying, he became determined and eager. I know those eyes exactly, those were the same eyes I had when I left my old home to search for my dad, and I accomplished great deeds, and I know for a fact he will as well." Ezekiel said firmly.
"If that's what you say, then I look forward to his progress." Hermes nodded.
"But let me warn you Hermes." Ezekiel said as he looked dead serious at the God. "If I ever find out you put him through some trial or some sick prank, you can be rest assured you'll find your stupid mug back in Heaven." He said harshly as in both of his hands were weapons that weren't there before. The Blackhawk and the MPLX Novasurge both gripped very firmly in his hands as Hermes winced as he remembered the damage those guns could do.
"Don't worry, I got the message." Hermes nodded quickly as Ezekiel nodded and soon those guns vanished as Hermes sighed in relief. Unlike most people, Hermes wasn't the type of guy to dismiss the threat that Ezekiel leveled at him, anyone who failed to abide by his warning all suddenly found themselves all gone from the face of the world. And some of those vanished folks happen to include even level 6 Adventurers, that are supposedly on par with Ezekiel.
There was a reason why no bad Drifter has ever managed to trouble this city after all. Unlike most other Drifters, Ezekiel was willing to do whatever needs to be done to take care of the problem, and through whatever means necessary for him to do so. Assassination, blackmail, bomb threats, poison, none of them were off the table for Ezekiel as he absolutely refused to play fair.
"Also, just out of curiosity, what do you plan to do if the other Gods and Goddesses find out about Bell's Skill and the Drifters?" Hermes questioned.
"They can try, but I expect that they'll be wiped out." Ezekiel snorted as Hermes raised an eyebrow. "That Captain of theirs and her boy toy are more than enough to wipe out any Deity and Familia by themselves."
"How strong are they?" Hermes blinked.
"That Familia Captain, Nine, is about as strong as Alfia but without her sickness. Ragna, the boy toy I mention, pretty sure he's strong even by Level 8 Adventurer's standard back then. As for the other Drifters, pretty sure that they can handle themselves pretty well, even against the likes of Ottar if I have to imagine." Ezekiel giving his best estimate.
Hermes shivered at what Ezekiel told him, and he wasn't the type to exaggerate. "So, what do you think about the new monsters appearing?" He asked, changing the subject.
"I've never heard of any such Monster back in my time." Ezekiel admitted. "Do you really believe that old theory of the Dungeon trying to adapt to the power of Drifters?"
"Without any proof, there's only conjecture, but the Dungeon has surprised us in the past before." Hermes shrugged.
"True." Ezekiel nodded. "Still, I have a feeling that's not going to be the last curveball the Dungeon throws at us."
"Might I ask what are you girls doing here?" Izanami asked as she saw three girls working at Hestia's Food Stand.
One girl had yellow eyes, white hair, and rabbit ears; and she wore a yellow headband, black choker, a loose kimono with a leaf design that exposed her chest which she covered with a sarashi, and a lavender obi.
The second girl had yellow eyes with red markings at the edges, and long, black hair along with fox ears and a tail. She wears a shrine maiden outfit, a maple leaf shaped hair accessory, and red leggings.
The last girl had blue eyes and short hair that curls inward, with two petals like hairs at the top and one hair on each side sticking down at the bottom. She wears a black top with yellow near the collar, brown shorts with yellow lines, an orange jacket with yellow edges, black gloves with yellow edges along with orange cuffs with the same design, a belt, and silver breastplate.
The three girls in front of Izanami were Tsukinokami Kaede, Shinonome Momiji and Coco Collins. They were the members of the Hestia Familia.
"Lady Hestia went out to get a drink with Lord Miach and Lord Takemikazuchi last night." Kaede said as she let out a long sigh.
"I do remember her drinking a lot." Izanami nodded as last night Miach had invited Izanami, Takemikazuchi, and Hestia for celebration for Naaza coming out of her hiatus to become an Adventurer again. Of course, Izanami was never exactly a fan of alcohol so she only the necessary small amount.
"Yes. In fact, she just came back this morning." Momiji huffed. " She asked us to do her job for her today before she fell asleep."
"Maybe we should buy some headache medicine, she's bound to have a hangover as soon as she wakes." Coco said timidly.
"Let her deal with it." Momiji declared. "That will make her think twice before going out to drink again."
"By the way lady Izanami how is everyone doing?" Kaede asked. "I meant after the event that three days ago." She added in as that's when the incident occurred.
"Everyone's fine, thank you for your concern." Izanami nodded to her.
"Lady Hestia freaked out when she heard about that incident, and told us to stay away from the Dungeon for a bit." Coco chimed in.
"She's simply worried about you." Izanami said, hoping that they didn't get the wrong idea. "You're her first children, and what happened down there was not pretty."
While her Drifter children were used to see the dead, her three non-Drifter children were not, as they were visibly shaken after returning from the Dungeon. Thankfully Shinobu helped them deal with it and accept it, but those deaths would always be remembered forever by them, and not to mention that they will find more bodies the longer and longer they go, not every Adventurer makes it out.
"We understand." the Hestia members said.
"Just be more cautious when she lets you go back into the Dungeon again." Izanami advised.
"Don't worry we will." Kaede said assuring her.
"Maybe I can discuss with Hestia if she's interested in a team up as well, most of my members are plenty strong, and I don't think any of them mind helping out rookies." Izanami offered.
"If it's you, I believe Hestia would agree." Kaede nodded.
"Izanami!" A voice called out as everyone turned to see Loki running towards them.
"Ah hell-" Izanami said before she yelped as Loki grabbed her by the shoulder and started shaking her around. "Wawawawawawawawawa!" She cried out.
"What the hell is wrong with your Kids?!" She snapped. "One of them managed to become a level 2 Adventurer despite it being only a month!" She yelled as the Hestia Familia members gasped in surprise.
Kaede soon regained her thoughts and tried to stop Loki. "Please Lady Loki, this is unbecoming of a Goddess." She pleaded as Loki finally let her go after shaking Izanami.
"Are you okay Lady Izanami?" Coco asked in concern as the Goddess of dead try to steadied herself.
"I'm okay." Izanami reassured.
"Lady Loki you should not have done that, even with how impossible it is." Momiji scolded.
"Which brings up the question, how did one of your kids do that?" Kaede asked.
"It's a secret." Izanami said as she then sighed. "I assume the Guild announced it?" She said in resignation as Loki nodded.
"Still though that's kind of crazy." Kaede noted.
"Tell me about it, not only was my child's record broken, your child made her hard work look like nothing." Loki sniffled in indignation.
"I suppose that's another record my Children have done." Izanami said as she laughed awkwardly.
"You know that will make the claim about you guys falsifying your reports become more likely right?" Loki pointed out.
"We falsified nothing." Izanami said in annoyance. "And if they try otherwise, I expect them to be ready to pay for the consequences." She said darkly as her powers leaked a bit causing the others to shiver somewhat.
"Calm down Izanami." Loki said quickly. "I know you're not that kind of woman, especially back in Heaven, but you have to understand, there's plenty that are jealous of your Familia's success, including me." Loki explained.
"I know." Izanami sighed. "I too, was very surprised by my child's leveling up."
"But seriously though, how did your kid do that? If every Adventurer could do that, this city would be filled with Level 2 in no time." Loki asked.
"Familia secret." Izanami replied.
Loki sighed as that was true as each Familia was allowed to keep their own secrets. "Just be careful now, a lot of your children got eyes on them from other Deities and Adventurers, and no doubt people like Freya and Ishtar are going to be quite interested."
"Not those two, I rather deal with you than them." Izanami groaned.
"Don't know if I should feel glad or insulted." Loki said sounding a bit miffed.
"You're reasonable." Izanami replied. "But Freya's not when she's deadest on something or someone." She added in as her powers suddenly become far more pronounced and angrier than ever. "But if that Slut Ishtar or her Familia even lay a hand single finger on my Children, I will send Ishtar back to Heaven myself and throw her slutty Familia into a shallow grave!" She said furiously as the others gulped, nice as Izanami was, there was a reason why most still preferred to stay on her good side.
"Hello Tsubaki." Bell greeted cheerfully as he, Emma, and Asuna entered the blacksmith shop.
"Oh, hey there, back so soon?" Tsubaki greeted and next to her were two girls. the first one had green eyes and long, red hair tied into a tail behind her head. She wore a short teal and brown top that exposes her stomach, shorts of the same color with pouches attached, a teal and pale blue cap with goggles, a yellow ribbon, and teal and pale blue gloves. The second girl had dark pink eyes and fluffy pink hair with a white hairpin. She wore a dark red top with puffed sleeves and a flared skirt of the same color, combined with a pure white apron on top of it, as well as a red ribbon atop her chest.
"This is Marco Powell, a member of the Goibniu Familia." Tsubaki first introduced. "This here is Lisbeth from my Familia." Tsubaki then introduced.
"Hello." Marco greeted.
"Nice to meet you." Lisbeth bowed to them.
"Marco, you're the one who made my armor." Emma noted the familiarity of her name.
"Oh, so you're the one who bought, was surprised when Tsubaki mentioned it." Marco noted.
"You didn't expect anyone to buy it?" Emma asked in confusion.
"Not really, I specialize in Bowguns, kind of average in other fields." Marco replied.
"Well it served me well, and I hope to buy another set." Emma said to her.
"So, it broke?" Marco questioned, though not sounding very surprised.
"Not really, but it did get damaged." Emma explained.
"Well let me take a look at it, might be able to fix it." Marco offered as Emma nodded her head in gratitude and gave Marco her armor.
As Tsubaki turned to the other two. "So, what are you guys here for?" She asked.
"Both of us are here to get new armor, as mine broke and Asuna needs to replace her old one." Bell explained as he brought out his damaged set. "Could you bring out the Blacksmith who made my armor if possible? His name is Welf right?"
"Welf Crozzo's his name." Tsubaki nodded, though she had expected a bigger reaction considering his skills and fame in making magic weapons. "Guy was like an excitable five-year-old when I told him someone bought his armor." She chuckled as the bell rang and she smirked. "And speak of the Devil and he shall appear." She said.
"What are you saying this time?" A red-haired teen huffed as he walked in, holding a crate which Bell assumed carried his newest products. He was taller than Bell with spiky red hair and blue eyes, and wore dark blue undershirt, with a black kimono tied over it, with a belt, along with a blue scarf, tan pants, and long brown boots.
"Oh, I was just telling your one and only customer how you gushed over how amazing he must be for choosing such esteemed work such as yours." Tsubaki laughed out causing Welf's face to redden, out embarrassment or anger Bell didn't know. However, the redhead soon calmed down and turn towards Bell before spotting the destroyed armor on the counter that was laid out before Tsubaki.
"Man, you put this set through the wringer." Welf whistled as he walked up to his work.
"Speaking of which, what did you do to do that?" Tsubaki asked.
"A new monster." Bell replied causing the blacksmiths to widen their eyes in surprise.
"Wait a moment, you guys are part of the Izanami Familia." Welf suddenly realized. "You guys been breaking all sorts of records."
"Well mainly our Captain and another member." Bell said sheepishly.
"I heard you guys also killed a Floor Boss last week before this." Lisbeth added in.
"That was done by our most senior members." Asuna explained.
"Well we did technically kill that Floor Boss as well." Emma reminded Bell as Welf grabbed Bell's shoulder quickly.
"Please make a contract with me!" Welf suddenly asked as the three blinked.
"What?" All of them said at once.
"Tactless as ever." Tsubaki sighed. "Welf, they're rookies, they don't know about those contracts with Blacksmiths yet." She said as Welf blinked and turned to them and they nodded. "Basically, a client and blacksmith can forge a contract in which the blacksmith works directly with client and get various discounts and the like in exchange for favors with the client, which must be mutually agreed upon and the likes." Tsubaki explained.
"So exclusive sales merchant then?" Bell asked as Welf nodded.
"That's the case, in exchange for me forging your gear, all I want is to join your party." Welf said.
"Well I do like your armor." Bell muttered as Welf got excited. "But why though?" He asked.
"In the Dungeon, there's only certain items you can get there to forge gear and getting down there is difficult unless the allies you work with is strong." Welf explained.
"Blacksmiths aren't exactly dedicated fighters." Tsubaki added in. "Maybe you two can forge a contract with Lisbeth and Marco as well." She motioned Emma and Asuna to the two mentioned Blacksmiths who blinked in surprise.
"Well but I'm not exactly an armor Blacksmith." Marco answered.
"You could use this opportunity to broaden your horizon and Emma does like your work." Tsubaki suggested as Emma nodded at the end.
"Well I could, but I don't think Asuna would like my work, I mean nobody buys them." Lisbeth said with a sad smile.
"Nonsense, your work damn good, even approved by Lady Hephaestus herself, and the reason why you're overlooked is because people buy gear from famous Blacksmiths, make Asuna's gear and as she gets more famous, you'll get more customers." Tsubaki added in.
After some thought, both Marco and Lisbeth could see this being a good opportunity for them. They heard plenty of outrageous rumors and tales about the Izanami Familia and decided that their survival rates are high and so started making deals with Asuna and Emma. Then decide what will be agreed upon and the likes and soon Welf and Lisbeth will join the Izanami Familia while Marco only needed certain items. And soon the Izanami Familia gained three Blacksmith Contracts.
The city hasn't changed much since she left it for her little vacation, they had just come back after crushing a kingdom's army for the sake of her 'Prince.' But that 'Prince' failed to light a fire in her and so she left and returned home. When they reach Orario, most of her children had return to Folkvangr to prepare for her return. In the meantime, she decided to venture around the city for no particular reason with Ottar.
"Hey did you hear about Izanami Familia?" The voice of one of two Adventurers that were talking as she took note of that, Izanami Familia? Seems like Izanami finally found her own children.
"What did that Familia do this time?" The other Adventurer said sounding very exasperated which made her wonder what kind of trouble did Izanami's children get into.
"One of their members just became a level 2."
"You serious!"
"Deadly, the Guild just announced it today."
That bit of info made her pause, only less than a month and suddenly one of Izanami's children became a Level 2? She would certainly have to look into this matter. Since the last record was one year held by the Sword Princess of the Loki Familia.
"Seriously, what the Hell is up with this Familia?!" Sounds like Izanami had some very wild children indeed.
"Tell me about it, first they go through most of the Upper Floors in a single day and about a week later kill a Goliath, a fucking Goliath!" Now she was impressed, as was Ottar, the speed of how fast they went and how quickly they managed to kill a Goliath is impressive.
"Sure, they're not faking it?" How rude! Izanami was no liar, and the Guild took the after-action reports seriously.
"I use to think that too, especially since they defeat Bors a few times, when they come to resting Floor."
"Isn't he like Level 3?"
How interesting, only one of them leveled up and recently, but basically, they defeated a Level 3 Adventurer as Level 1.
"What do you want to do? We don't have any proof and after what that fool Kibaou did, the Guild's on Izanami's side and she's no pushover and neither are any of her kids." How foolish, one should never mess with Izanami unless you're ready to suffer.
"Speaking of Kibaou, I heard that those new monsters are now a permanent addition from the Tenth to Twelfth Floor."
"Are you serious?! Those things wiped out more than thirty Adventurers in a group by themselves!" So, something new was going on, interesting a new monster appeared and she tuned out the rest of the talk since it no longer interested her.
"It appears many interesting things have occurred since I have left for my vacation." Freya, the Goddess of Beauty and leader of Freya Familia said. "What do you think Ottar?"
"If you need anything crushed, you only have order it." Ottar replied.
"Of course not, but even so I am interested in seeing Izanami's children though." She said as she and Ottar went to visit Izanami at her food stand, how she could make such terrible food, she will never know. But there was no more Food Stand, which she supposed could have something to do with her gaining children. "Seems like she's not here, a shame." She shrugged.
As she was about to head back home, something caught her attention. It was a boy with white hair with red eyes, with his overall looks like a rabbit. Her eyes widened as she focused on his pure aura, which surrounded the child. And made her body tremble with both excitement and desire. Her eyes widened even further, as it was completely pure, with no corruption in the slightest. Had she ever seen a child so pure before? No, she had not.
Before Freya could order Ottar to bring that boy to her, she looked behind him and her eyes widened as two people came behind him. A man with white hair and mismatched red and green eyes which made her thought that he was related to that boy and a woman with long black hair braided at the end.
"Who are those two?" Freya questioned as she looked at their souls and gasped. The man's soul was black all the way around, if the boy before her was so pure, this was his complete opposite, and she had a gut feeling that black aura wanted to purge everything. The woman's soul was black as well but had other shades of light colors and there was something about her arm that put her on edge.
Then an armored giant came up to the trio causing Freya to be taken aback, as was Ottar as neither had seen anyone so large before, but the way that the trio were nonchalant about him, meant they were used to him. And she saw someone sitting on the shoulder of the giant.
"Izanami." Freya said before the group walked off. As she turned to Ottar, she noticed that he was quite on edge.
"Is something wrong?" She asked Ottar.
"Most of them…they're quite strong." He said as Freya raised an eyebrow in surprise, rarely did Ottar ever compliment anyone like that since he became level 7.
"My oh my, you certainly have gained some very interesting children Izanami." Freya hummed in thought. Especially the boy, his pure soul was so beautiful, so clean, so…blissful, she eagerly anticipates the day she could see what color his soul becomes and just maybe she can get her partner~
"So, you made contracts with Blacksmiths from Goibniu and Hephaestus for equipment and in exchange they will join us then." Nine hummed as all of the Familia were now walking to a pub to celebrate Bell's promotion to Level 2.
"Yep." Bell nodded.
"I think that will work wonderfully for us." Shinobu said with a smile. "With Naaza now becoming an Adventurer again and with those two, we can now divide into two teams."
"Actually, there's another Familia that I wanted to have you consider bringing, the Hestia Familia, as they're new and need some experience." Izanami chimed in from Honda's shoulder.
"I'm okay with it." Ragna shrugged, more manpower anyways.
"We'll see but for now we have to start Bell, Emma, and Asuna's learning into Ars Magus." Nine said as the trio looked excited.
"I suppose you have a schedule in mind already?" Velvet asked.
"Of course, I do, with my schedule, they'll master Ars Magus in no time and even use a Formula or two." Nine said proudly as Ragna looked worried as he remembered the kind of person she was.
"What can you tell us about the schedule then?" Akame asked.
"Ten hours a week." Nine said as the others turned to her and Ragna winced, knowing what she meant.
"That's kind of short." Bell noticed.
"I thought you have to devote a great deal of time to learn magic." Asuna said in confusion.
"I guess since we're going to the Dungeon, that does mean little time for it." Emma added in as Nine smirked maliciously in their eyes.
"Oh, don't be mistaken, ten hours is all you're going to get to sleep is all." Nine said as everyone turned to her as Ragna sighed.
"That will be very bad for their health!" Shinobu objected as Bell, Asuna, and Emma paled.
"It worked for me when I was studying magic." Nine pointed out.
"But wouldn't that affect their time in the Dungeon then?" Izanami also chimed in, worried for three of her children.
"They will spend a month without going to the Dungeon, and everyone else will be picking up the slack." Nine said as Ragna groaned realizing what she planned to do.
"Oh really?" Velvet questioned, having her doubts about what Nine was planning.
"Yep you guys will go into the Dungeon and only about once a week you will be allowed to come out and rest for a whole month." Nine declared.
"ARE YOU A SLAVE DRIVER!?" Everyone nearly snapped at her.
"You guys can rest at Rivira and Honda will carry most of your supplies, just think of it as training for future expeditions." Nine said as nearly everyone groaned.
"Was she always like this?" Shinobu asked Ragna who facepalmed at Nine's insane decision.
"More than you know." Ragna muttered as everyone stopped being annoyed or what not when they finally reached the pub that they were heading for, the Hostess of Fertilely, recommended to them by Loki.
A two-story building with front double doors, carving decorations on the frame, and carious other types of carving patterns on the front with sign that said the name of the place. "So, this is where Loki recommended to us." Shinobu hummed.
"Yep, she said the food here is top quality and very famous for their good services like Ezekiel's shop as well." Izanami chimed in.
"You sure we can find a table here? It is famous as you said." Velvet pointed out.
"Loki booked it for us." Izanami explained. "Originally, I planned to invite the Miach Familia, Hestia Familia and Takemikazuchi Familia, but…" She explained but trailed off at the end.
"But?" Ragna questioned getting a feeling he was going to hear something stupid.
"The deities from all three got drunk when Miach was out celebrating for Naaza returning to adventuring and in the process are now suffering hangovers right now." Izanami added in with a blush as everyone else sighed at that, at least for the Drifters.
"I suppose Miach would want to celebrate that." Shinobu mumbled.
Soon a girl with bluish gray eyes and same colored hair tied into ponytail, light smooth skin wearing the green pub uniform with long puffed sleeves and a white collar, white apron, while headband, small orange collar, black leggings, and ankle length boots came out and smiled at them. "Welcome." She said kindly to the group.
"We have a reservation here courtesy of Loki." Izanami said as the girl nodded.
"If that's the case, then please follow me." She motioned for the group to follow her, which they did, as they entered inside the pub. With the exception of Honda who stayed outside as the rest of the Familia were seated at a large table.
"Shame that Honda's too big." Izanami sighed.
"He's too big back home as well." Ragna added in.
"When we renovate our house, I want it to be large enough to fit Honda in as well." Izanami said with determination.
"That'll cost some more, but I think we can do it." Nine commented.
"So, you're Lady Izanami eh? Name's Mia Grand, owner of the Hostess of Fertility." A tall woman with brown eyes, long brown hair, wearing blue color version of the waitress's outfit greeted the group as she walked up to them with a bright smile.
"Pleased to meet you Mia, this is my Familia." Izanami greeted.
"Heard a lot about you guys, been breaking many records eh?" Mia hummed before she shrugged. "Doesn't matter, that just means you guys got plenty of money, so let's start spending eh?" Mia smirked.
"Sure, let's start off with three Specials please." Nine ordered as she had taken a look at the menu on the table Mia nodded and headed back into the kitchen.
"So, is it true one of you managed to become a Level 2 in only one month?" The waitress that brought them in asked.
"Indeed, and you are?" Izanami asked.
"Ah, my name is Syr Flova, pleased to meet you." Syr bowed to them. "Could I meet the one?" She asked as everyone pointed to Bell, who blushed under Syr's kind and cute smile. "Hehe, you really are cute." She noted as Bell turned redder as the rest of the Familia got knowing grins on their faces. "Nice to meet you, bye." She said as she left.
"Nice going there, Lady Killer." Ragna smirked at Bell who stuttered a bit as he was suddenly saved by Mia, who came out with the food. "Well time to dig in." He said as Mia deposited the food and everyone started eating and enjoying the meal.
"I can see why this place is so famous." Akame said as she tore into her meat like a carnivore.
"Of course." Syr spoke up as she dropped by their table to deliver them drinks. "This pub is a place where many Adventurers go to after a day in the Dungeon, so they can sit and unwind from the job they have." Syr explained.
"Explains why I see so many of them." Shinobu hummed as she ate her food politely.
"I wonder if any of them are going to cause any trouble." Velvet commented as she ate her food while keeping an eye on the Adventurers eyeing them.
"Do not worry." Another waitress spoke up, revealing herself to be an elf with sky blue eyes and green hair. "Mama Mia was a former Adventurer before opening up shop here, she can deal with them." She said as she left.
"Or one of the Waitresses here, they're all strong." Velvet commented casually as most of the waitresses tensed up at that.
The one who just spoke to them turned back to the Familia. "Mama Mia takes in any stray regardless of our past, for that we love and respect her." The Elf said. "So please do not cause trouble here." She said politely as she left.
"Not a bad place here." Ragna said. "Has the same kind of good feeling as Ezekiel's place had as well." Ragna said as everyone else at their table nodded. Ragna had taken some time to spend at his coffee shop, and despite what Izanami said, the old man was okay in Ragna's book, but gut feeling told him there was a lot of secrets the old man was hiding.
"Never thought I'd see you guys here." A voice spoke up belonging to a man brown hair, golden-brown eyes, with two scars across his face, one facing down on his left cheek and the other across his forehead. He wore a fur strap around his neck and chest on top of a green shirt, as well as dark brown gloves and a belt over orange fur cloth and grey leggings, and a pair black striped chartreuse boot.
"Mord, you came back for more eh?" Ragna questioned as he cracked his neck.
"Easy there." Mord said as he raised his hands. "Not here looking for trouble, learned my lesson the last time."
"Who is he?" Izanami asked as she looked at the man curiously.
"Name's Mord Latro, a Level 2 Adventurer tried to pick a fight with him at Rivera because I didn't believe them capable of killing a Goliath as Level 1." Mord explained.
"And Ragna did a round with him." Velvet added in.
"Broke my jaw and after seeing you guys deal with Bors, knew you were the real deal." Mord said sheepishly.
"I did not expect that, I thought you would have joined up with Kibaou and his cronies." Shinobu hummed as Mord gained an angry look filled with distress and sorrow.
"Don't you dare put me in the same group as that scum." He said a bit angrily. "My Familia lost some good people because of him…some good friends as well." He said as he lost steam at the end.
"I'm sorry about your loss." Izanami said looking apologetic with Shinobu looking kind of shame faced now as well.
"You weren't the one who got them killed." Mord shrugged. "Heard one of your guys became a Level 2, which one is he?" He asked curiously as everyone pointed to Bell causing Mord to look surprised. "Him? I thought one of the stronger guys would have level up first?" He said in confusion before he shrugged. "But I'm not underestimating you guys again." He said.
"I'm not that strong, the others are stronger than me and have more experience, no doubt you can beat me as well." Bell said.
"Don't sell yourself short kid." Velvet said seriously. "You're young and Mord could beat you, but you got lots of chances to train up as well." She said.
"Besides Mord is kind of weak for his Level." Nine said casually as Mord nodded and waved them good bye before heading back to his table. "Much less rude than the last time we met." She added in.
"He's smarter than most, he knows what we're capable of." Akame chimed in.
"Wish other idiots know that." Ragna grumbled. During that time, the elf waitress that talked to them passed by but suddenly tripped on something, causing her to lose her balance and Bell instantly reacted as he grabbed her arm to keep her from falling.
"Are you okay?" Bell asked as he helped her up as the elf blinked at him looking kind of confused before nodding.
"Yes, I am, thank you." She bowed to him.
"Ryu, you okay?" Syr asked as she saw what happened.
"I am fine Syr." Ryu, the now named Elf, said to her before turning to Bell. "My apologies for the trouble." She said.
"No problem." Bell said as he went back to table to finish eating as Ryu moved on looking at the where Bell grabbed her in confusion. 'He touched my hand.' She thought as she went to grab the cleaning tools to clean up the mess she'd made.
A week after the incident, Naaza was waiting by the courtyard again now carrying her bow and sword, plus a small bag to carry magic stones and drop items. And she also noticed the Izanami Familia coming to her, plus two new people she didn't recognized.
"Hello Miss Naaza." Bell greeted.
"Hello Bell, who are the two with you guys? New recruits?" She asked.
"They're our Contract Blacksmiths " Emma explained.
"I see then, welcome." Naaza nodded.
"Hello." Welf waved.
"Pleased to meet you." Lisbeth said as well.
Naaza nodded and turned to Bell as he had new armor on. "New armor made by your Contract Blacksmith?" She asked as Bell was wearing new armor with a red cloak as he nodded.
"All right everyone, now that we're going back into the Dungeon again for the first time but with new additions and after a break. Nine wants us to reach the Tenth Floor for now." Shinobu said.
"Got it." Everyone else said as Welf and Lisbeth looked kind of tensed as they had never reached the Tenth Floor yet.
Shinobu saw their tensed look and smiled at them. "Do not worry, we are very effective, stick close to us and you won't have any trouble at all for the most part." Shinobu said reassuringly as both Blacksmiths calmed down a bit now.
Soon the group entered the Dungeon and made some progress into the First and Second Floor and they were going at a good pace until they heard a loud roar and out of the entrance to the Third Floor came out a Minotaur charging out.
"A Minotaur? They're only supposed to be on the Middle Floors." Naaza noted in confusion.
"Alrighty then, let's let our new Level 2 handle this then~" Shinobu said in a playful tone.
"What?!" Bell gasped as his eyes widened.
"Do not worry Bell, the Minotaur is not that strong, I can handle plenty of them with ease." Shinobu said as she lightly pushed Bell to face it.
"You're also with us." Emma said reassuringly.
"Don't worry, I'll step in if it's needed." Shinobu assured.
Bell looked kind of annoyed at Shinobu before facing the monster, then he took a deep breath to calm himself down as he raised his blade ready to face the Minotaur and charged at it. During the week, not only was he training with Emma, but also learning from Shinobu as well, in hopes of being able to learn the Breathing Styles.
Bell roared at the monster as he charged at it as the Minotaur roared at him in return and rushed to him as Bell tried his best to control his breathing to focus on what's the next course of action the Minotaur would take and dodged the first swing from it and then got behind and swung his sword at the Minotaur as a couple drops of water seemingly formed as he swung his sword, but they were weak and fizzled out near the end as his sword cut into the monster's side causing it to scream in pain.
"What did I just saw?" Welf blinked as he could have sworn something like water formed around Bell as Shinobu smiled, knowing that Bell was on the right path, but still had a long way to go before he could even be declared adequate in the Water Breathing Style. He wasn't Tanjiro after all, and his determination easily outmatched Bell's.
Away from the fight, a young girl with blonde hair watched the fight in surprise at what was going. "Just who is he?" She muttered as she stared at Bell.
I decide to let Bell level up this since I from what I see he got his skil eraly in one month and been sometime push to go deep to the floor he support to go and then fight again a monster can equal as boss monster. I my eyes is enough to level up.
So introdu member of Hestia famlia Tsukinokami Kaede, Shinonome Momiji and Coco Collins. All those three are charater from DanMachi Orario Rhapsodia. Izanami also got they blacksmith contract in from of Welf. Marco Powell (DanMachi Orario Rhapsodia) and Lisbeth (Sword Art Online)
I really look forward for Bell meet Syr in this chapter, since SyrxBell are my number one ship. But then Vol 16 happen and it hit me very hard. It destroy my SyrxBell ship (Cry in a connor) , I really hope that Vol 17 can somehow give me a reason to salvage this ship.
So the next chapter we will begin go to the canon of Danmachi.
