Chapter 6: Return to Hollow Bastion
In a dark castle in a dark region of a familiar place, Montana Max peaks inside a circular room with a circular table and black walls.
Monty: Lord Ganondorf? Are you home?
He looks around, but no one answered. He walks inside.
Monty: Maybe they really did finish him off.
Koume and Kotake are flying back to the castle.
Monty: This castle sure isn't what it used to be. No shine, no nothing. Now, what's gonna happen to our plan?
?: You don't have to worry about that.
Monty turns to see Koume and Kotake. He gasped in shock. Meanwhile, in a marketplace, Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy enters and looks at a familiar castle.
Sora: Look! It's Hollow Bastion!
Dizzy: It look different now.
Plucky: I wonder how Leon and the others are doing?
Sora: Let's go see them!
Dizzy looks up on a roof and saw some Heartless Soldiers. The Heartless then disappeared. Sora and Plucky turns to him.
Dizzy: We may have to do fighting. The Heartless are here.
Sora nods and they ran down the stairs.
World: Hollow Bastion
The trio went down to the marketplace to find some shops. In the marketplace are a familiar trio of black cat-like creatures with ink blot-styled eyes and white cheeks. One was wearing khaki pants, one was wearing a light blue long sleeve shirt and a red baseball cap backwards, and the last one was a female wearing a pink skirt and a flower on her head. In order, they are Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, the Warner Siblings. Sora and the gang ran up to them
Sora: Hey, guys!
Yakko: Sora! Plucky! Dizzy! Long time no see!
Wakko: What have you three been doing all this time?
Sora: Nothing. We have been exploring other worlds.
Dot: You three are lucky to be traveling to other worlds.
Plucky: What are you three doing?
Yakko: We are running our own shops. I run the accessory shop.
Wakko: I run the weapons shop.
Dot: And I run the item shop.
Yakko: If you need anything, come by our shops.
Sora: OK. See you guys later.
The trio said farewell to the Warner Siblings and proceeds through the marketplace. Along the way, they encountered a light bluish-greenish dodo with two dotted eyes. Plucky and Dizzy recognizes the dodo.
Plucky: Hey, it's Gogo Dodo!
Sora: Who's that?
Dizzy: He Gogo Dodo. He ruler of Wackyland back in Acme Acres. Before Heartless show up, he travel to worlds on Gummi Ship with Buster. He help set up traffic system.
Plucky: It's "Transit System!"
Plucky and Dizzy ran up to the dodo, who seems to run an ice cream shop. Sora follows the two toons.
Gogo: Hello, Plucky and Dizzy! You look all hale and hearty!
Plucky: So do you, Gogo.
Gogo: If only I could recreate my favorite old-time ice cream. I'd make millions if I got it right.
He carries what seems like a purple ice cream. He licks it and made a disgusted look.
Gogo: Yuck! That was terrible!
Sora walks up to Gogo.
Gogo: And who's this young lad?
Sora: Hello. I'm Sora.
Gogo: Nice to meet you, Sora.
Sora: Where are Leon and the others?
Gogo: Leon and the others are in Mumbo's House down the borough.
Sora: Thanks. See you later, Gogo.
The trio said farewell to Gogo and went down the stairs. They went to the borough. Suddenly, an odd light pillar appears in front of them. Some more appeared, surrounding the trio.
Plucky: Hey, what's this?
?: That's the town's defense mechanism.
The trio looks around, until Sora saw someone on top of a wall. he saw a teenage girl with black hair and wearing a black midriff with a black vest, brown shorts, a black glove on her left hand, brown boots, and a black headband. She was smiling at them.
Sora: Yuffie!
Yuffie: Hey, Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy! It's been a while.
She then saw something.
Yuffie: Look out!
Sora and the gang saw the Nobodies called Dusks, surrounding them. Sora uses his Keyblade to take them out, Plucky uses Thunder, and Dizzy delivers punches and kicks. Eventually, a new type of Nobody, called a Samurai, joins in the battle. They have crusader-styled helmets and carried two swords. Sora clashed with the Samurais with their swords and Keyblade clashing. The light pillars helped the gang by eliminating the Samurais. After finishing off the Nobodies, the trio turns to Yuffie.
Yuffie: Hey, you guys!
She jumps down the wall.
Yuffie: I see that you seemed to be in top shape.
Sora: What did you expect? Sounds like you've been working out, too.
Yuffie: Well, what did you expect?
Plucky: How are Leon and the others?
Yuffie: It's been great! Everyone is still the same.
Sora: By the way, Yuffie. Have you seen Riku or Buster?
Yuffie: Sorry. I haven't.
She ran down to the borough, then turns to the trio.
Yuffie: But I had a feeling I'd see you guys again.
Sora looks disappointed at first, but then stood up straight and spoke in a deep voice.
Sora: We may never meet again, but we'll never forget each other.
Yuffie: Is that supposed to be Leon?
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy laughs.
Sora: Anyway, where are Leon and the others?
Yuffie: Everyone is working at Mumbo's House. Come on!
She ran off to Mumbo's House. Sora and the gang follows her to the house. Inside the house are several people. The first one on the computer is Cid. He still has blonde hair and wears a white shirt, blue jeans, brown strap, and a goggle on his head. Next to him was a man named Leon. He still has long brown and wears a black jacket, but now has some white fur on the top. he wore a white shirt inside his jacket, black pants, and black gloves. Next to Cid on the other side is a woman named Aerith. She still has long brown hair with a ponytail, but now wears a new pink dress with a white skirt underneath her pink dress.
Yuffie: Meet the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee!
She turns to her friends.
Yuffie: Hey, guys! We've got some old guests.
Everyone turns around and smiles at seeing Sora. Dizzy ran up to Aerith and hugs her.
Dizzy: Dizzy miss Aerith!
Aerith: I miss you and you're friends, too.
Cid: Well, you guys are still in top-shape, huh?
Leon: I knew it.
Sora walks up to them.
Sora: knew what?
Leon: A while back, everyone starts remembering you guys, all at the same time.
Sora: You...remembered? Wait! Don't tell me you forgot about us!
Plucky: Well, thanks alot!
Yuffie: Sorry, but where have you guys been all this time?
Dizzy: We were sleeping.
Cid: Ya sure it wasn't cold storage?
Aerith: It doesn't matter. This is great. Everyone's together again.
Sora: By the way, we're looking for Riku and Buster. Have you seen them?
The crew all shook their heads no. Sora looks down in disappointment.
Aerith: Sorry, but let us know if there's anything we could help with, OK?
Sora: OK. Thanks.
Cid then got up to Sora's face.
Cid: Don't go thankin us just yet.
Leon: Hollow Bastion's got a problem. A big problem.
Sora: Like the Heartless and Nobodies?
Yuffie: That's right!
Sora: Sounds like you could use our help.
Leon: Then let's cut to the chase.
He walks up to Sora.
Leon: Sora, Plucky, Dizzy. We were hoping the three of you could lend us a hand.
Sora pat his chest.
Sora: Like were gonna say no?
Leon: Of course. I forgot who I'm dealing with.
Plucky: Hey, what does that mean?
Aerith: Just think of it as a "Leon compliment."
Leon heads to the door and opens it.
Leon: Follow me to the bailey. There's something you gotta see.
As He left the house, two more people walks in. One person is a witch doctor, who has a pink body, wearing a skull mask, feathers on top of his head, and a straw skirt. The other was a Native American woman with brown hair, wearing a yellow poncho, and headband. They are Mumbo Jumbo and Humba Wumba. Dizzy ran up to the woman to hug her.
Mumbo: Me back, guys. Mumbo see that boy with key is back.
Dizzy: Dizzy miss Wumba!
Wumba: Wumba miss dog, too. Right on time.
Plucky: Mumbo! Wumba!
Yuffie: Sora and the gang are gonna help out!
Mumbo: Great. Mumbo counting on boy.
Sora, Plucky, & Dizzy: Right!
Wumba: Did Aerith give cards to boy and his friends?
Aerith: Oh! I forgot.
She reached into her pocket and took out what seems to be purple cards with a picture of a castle on it. She gave each of them to Sora and his friends.
Aerith: Here, guys...they're presents for you. Leon thought you might like to have them.
Sora looks at the card. It has his name on the back. He read what the card said.
Sora: Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee Honorary Member!
Plucky: They're membership cards!
Dizzy: Sweet!
Sora: Hey, thanks, Le...huh?
He noticed Leon was gone.
Sora: Oh no! We're supposed to go to the bailey!
Mumbo: Wait, boy! Do you still remember magic?
Sora: Magic? Oh, that's right...
He crossed his arms, thinking.
Yuffie: Maybe you forgot them, while you were sleeping.
Mumbo: What Mumbo gonna do with boy?
Wumba: Wumba have to lend boy some spells. But be careful with them.
She gave Sora two crystals. He relearns Fire and Blizzard.
Sora: Thanks, Wumba.
Plucky: Come on! To the bailey!
The trio left Mumbo's House and ran all the way to the bailey. There, they found Leon looking out at the balcony.
Leon: Take a look.
They all looked. They saw the dark castle in the distance and they all gasped. It was crawling with Heartless.
Leon: We wanna restore Hollow Bastion back to where it was. Who knows? Maybe even something better. There's still a lot to do, before that, but I'm sure we could handle everything. Except...for that...and that.
He points to the two Dusks heading for the castle.
Sora: Don't worry. We'll handle them.
Leon: That's good news. So, Sora. Do you know what's going on here?
Sora: There's this spoiled kid named Montana Max, who goes around, plotting with the Heartless. But he's not smart enough to tie his own shoes. The ones we have to worry about are the new enemies, the Nobodies.
Dizzy: And don't forget those Organization XIII guys. They in charge of Nobodies.
? 1: Did somebody call us?
Everybody starts looking around to see where that voice came from. Then Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy ran out to see who it was. Another voice spoke.
? 2: I must say, Keyblade Master, you're doing well.
Sora summons his Keyblade.
Sora: Who's there?
? 1: I think this calls for a celebration.
Several Dusks appeared. Plucky and Dizzy chased after them.
Leon: Sora, help me close this gate!
Sora nods, as he and Leon closed the gate. More Nobodies came before them.
Sora: Great! More Nobodies!
Leon: Don't let your guard down!
Sora and Leon works together to defend the gate and defeat the Nobodies. Leon uses his Gunblade to take some of them out, while Sora uses his Keyblade to wipe out the rest. Soon, some Creepers and Samurais joined in the fight as well. Leon uses his Fire to take out the Creepers, while Sora uses his Blizzard to freeze the Samurais. The light pillars also helped out taking out the Nobodies. After a few minutes, they took out all the Nobodies. Sora ran out of the bailey to here the voice again.
? 1: The Keyblade...that is such a marvelous weapon, isn't it? It may be more marvelous, if it was in a more...capable hand.
Sora then hears some laughter.
Sora: SHOW YOURSELVES!
Plucky and Dizzy rejoins Sora. Then one of the cloaked figures came up on top of a wall. The figure raised his hands and five more figures appeared next to him.
Dizzy: Organization XIII!
No. I: So, you heard of us.
Sora: Good for you to come! Now, we can settle this!
No. I: What a shame...And here I thought we could be friends.
The Organization XIII disappears through their dark portals, laughing.
Plucky: Stop right there!
He was about to run down the stairs, when another dark portal appears in front of him, revealing another black-cloaked figure in front of him. Plucky looks up to see where they were once and then back to the figure.
Plucky: What's the big idea?
No. II: Oopsy-daisy! Where are my manners?
Sora: Move outta the way!
No. II: Now, do you think that is polite? Shutting me down like that?
Sora: I said get outta the way!
No. II: As if! You can talk to me, wherever you want, but that won't change a thing.
The trio got in their fighting stances.
Plucky: Then we'll make you move!
No. II: See, that would work, if I was any old dude. Except I'm not. You see, I am with the Organization. Nothing "old" about me.
Sora: Ha! Talk tough for someone who stood on the sidelines, while their Nobody flunkies did all the fighting.
No. II: Oh, dear. I think you got the wrong impression there.
Sora: What are you gonna do? Cry about it?
No. II: As if! Why do I need to remind you of the rough crowd you'll be dealing with really is?
Sora: Remind me?
He snaps out and glares at the figure. The figure laughs.
No. II: That's right! He used to give me the exact same look.
Sora: I guess you think you can psyche me out by saying random stuff!
No. II: Gee...I don't know about that.
There was silence for a moment. Then the figure spoke.
No. II: Be a good boy now! Bye!
He disappears through a dark portal.
Plucky: Stop!
He tried to stop him, but he disappears and Plucky fell flat on his face.
Plucky: Nuts! He got away!
Sora: That was kinda weird. Who gave him the exact same look?
Dizzy: Maybe he try to confuse you.
Sora: Yeah. There's only one of me.
He pulls out his card and lifts it in the air. Leon joins in with the group.
Sora: The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee Honorary Member.
Suddenly, the card starts glowing, starts flying, and everyone gasped. Then some light flashed on the tip of the Keyblade.
Leon: What's this?
Dizzy: You don't think...
The card flew higher in the sky. Sora held his Keyblade with both of his hands. Then a crown-like shape appears below him. A gust of wind blew around him. The card shot a beam at the sky, revealing a Keyhole. Sora leapt back, twirls the Keyblade around, and shot a beam at the Keyhole, unlocking it, and it disappears. Sora looks at his Keyblade, as he finally understand.
Sora: Now, I get it. This must be what Prof. Bunny meant. That must be the gateway to another world.
Plucky: Alright!
Sora turns to Leon.
Sora: Sorry to run like this, Leon. But other worlds are calling for us.
Leon Nods.
Leon: Organization XIII...They are a tough group. Take care out there, OK?
Sora: We will. See you soon.
Leon smiles and salutes to them. Back in the white room with 13 seats, six Organization members returned, via the dark portals.
No. III: Do my eyes deceive me? Does he really have the power to wield the Keyblade? He is nothing but a boy.
No. II: Give him a chance. It means he's as straight as an arrow. He's pure of heart, unlike all of us here.
No. VII: He had better be, or else he's worthless.
No. X: I truly hope he's enjoying himself on his adventure.
No. X was carrying some cards on his left hand. All of the cards have Nobody symbols on them. He pulls out one of the cards with his right hand.
No. X: Maybe he'd like a hand to determine his fate.
No. IX: Hey, as long as it works in our favor. We can let him do what he wants for now. Then we'll all jump in if needed.
No. II: Those are bald words coming from you. Are you saying that you'll volunteer to take care of it, even if things go wrong?
No. IX: What? Me? No, you have the wrong guy. I'm not comfortable with that.
No. III: You act as though you have a conscience. When was the last time anyone of us felt anything?
No. X is still holding on to his cards.
No. X: Truer words were never spoken.
He made the card on his right hand disappear.
No. X: Well, I suppose the fun will have to wait.
No. VII: Do you know what happens to those who lose their true purpose? Inevitably, they destroy themselves.
No. I: Gentlemen. The hero of the Keyblade has embarked on a new adventure. Make sure it is one he will remember. Now go.
The other Organization members disappeared through the dark portals. Back in Hollow Bastion, before the group leaves, Leon gave Sora a Secret Ansem Report. The trio said farewell to Leon and his friends and left for the marketplace. They bought some Potions and Ethers from Dot's shop, some armor from Wakko's shop, and an Ability Ring from Yakko's shop. The trio left Hollow Bastion and returns to the Gummi Ship. Once the ship flew into space, they noticed something weird.
Sweetie: Hey! Where's Disney Town?
Sneezer: It's gone!
Sora: Well, we can't go back there right now. We have other worlds to save. Where to, Sweetie?
Sweetie: There are two worlds south of here. The one to the southeast of here will be a safer alternative than the one to the southwest.
Sora: Well, let's go to that one.
Sneezer: OK. Full speed ahead!
The Gummi Ship took off into deep space.
That's it for chapter 6. Next time, Sora and the gang will head to a new world.
