Chapter 8: Keyblade Detective Sora Part 2
Sora, Yusuke, and the rest of the gang travels through the mountain pass of the Demon World. Unknown to everyone, Elder Toguro was watching them from a much higher cliff.
E. Toguro: I better tell my brother about this.
He ran off and disappears. As the gang walks through the mountain pass, they saw some upside down mountains that look like trees.
Sora: What's with the mountains?
Hiei: They have always looked that way.
Plucky: Are all mountains of this world are like this?
Hiei: Most of them are.
While walking through the mountain pass, they battled Heartless along the way. After eliminating all of the Heartless, Rinku, Jin, and Chu came along.
Rinku: You guys aren't half bad.
Jin: A demon among demons.
Yusuke: Thanks, but what about Genkai?
The three demons walked past the gang. Genkai along with Keiko and Botan walks up to the gang.
Sora: Genkai!
Dizzy: Yusuke sure did great.
Plucky: You got that right.
Genkai: Fine. I'll let you join my troops. But I'm not fully convinced that you have what it takes to be a worthy demon.
Sora: Why not?
Yusuke: It's OK, Sora. I'll find a way to show my master what I'm made of. Just give me a chance.
Genkai: That's the way, Yusuke.
She walks past the gang. Rinku, Jin, and Chu went back to the gang.
Jin: Good going, Yusuke.
Yusuke: Thanks, guys.
Everyone heads to the snowy region of the Demon World. They stopped at a village to take a rest.
Hiei: Listen up, everyone. Here's our chance. I saw Toguro around here.
Yusuke: TOGURO!
Sora: That's the evil demon we're after! We better tell Genkai!
Yusuke: Right!
Hiei: WAIT! Let's use our heads for a second.
Everyone stood and thought for a moment.
Hiei: We are here to prove our talents to Genkai.
Everyone nods in agreement.
Hiei: So, let's go find Toguro by ourselves. If we're lucky, we can destroy him. Just tracking the guy down would earn us our stars. Genkai will have to promote us to S-class.
Yusuke: OK. Let's go.
Sora: We'll help out.
Hiei: Toguro is in a cave outside the village.
The gang left the village and went inside the cave, but as they entered it, they came to a dead end. No sign of the Toguro Bros.
Sora: A dead end.
Plucky looks around to try to find someone.
Plucky: And there's nobody here.
Hiei: Impossible. Let's check again.
Plucky: Yeah, right. If anybody needs me, I'll be outside.
He starts walking out of the cave.
Dizzy: Wait for me, Plucky!
Dizzy, Kuwabara, and Kurama follows Plucky out of the cave, while Sora, Yusuke, and Hiei remains inside.
Sora: Wait, you guys!
Before Sora could move, the whole gang hears a rumble.
Hiei: What was that?
A barrier came out, blocking Plucky, Dizzy, Kuwabara, and Kurama out.
Plucky & Dizzy: Sora!
Kuwabara: Urameshi!
Kurama: Hiei!
Unknown to everyone, Younger Toguro was behind them. He then walks away, laughing quietly. Then the Heartless came and attacked Sora, Yusuke, and Hiei.
Sora: Heartless!
Yusuke: We better give them everything we got, guys!
Yusuke took off his jacket, revealing that he wears a white sleeveless shirt, while Hiei took off his robes, revealing that he wears a black sleeveless shirt and black pants. He also took off his headband, revealing his Jagan Eye. Sora uses Blizzard to freeze the Shadows, while Yusuke uses his Spirit Gun on them. Hiei uses his Sword of the Darkness Flame, covering his sword in black flames to finish off the Assault Riders.
Sora: Great job, you guys! You were both amazing!
The barrier came down and Plucky, Dizzy, Kuwabara, and Kurama joins them. Dizzy ran up to Sora and licks his face.
Dizzy: Sora is OK!
Sora: Of course I'm fine, Dizzy. It's all thanks to Yusuke and Hiei.
Hiei: We better report to Genkai.
Yusuke: But we didn't find Toguro.
Hiei: Forget about that. We'll tell her that a swarm of Heartless came and we took down all of them.
The gang were about to leave the cave, when suddenly, Keiko and Botan came in.
Keiko: Yusuke! Come here! It's terrible!
Yusuke: What is it, Keiko?
Botan: The village was under attack!
Everyone: WHAT?
Sora: Let's go, everyone!
Everybody ran out of the cave and back to the village. When they returned to the village, they saw everything burned down.
Yusuke: You were right, Keiko. Those Heartless were a distraction to keep us away from the village.
Sora: Where's Genkai?
Keiko: Follow me.
Everybody follows Keiko to find Genkai lying on the ground.
Yusuke: Genkai!
Everybody ran to her.
Sora: Are you OK, Genkai?
Genkai: It's just a scratch.
She tried to get up, but fell on her knees.
Yusuke: Genkai, where did the enemy go?
Genkai: They went toward the summit.
Yusuke: Don't worry. We'll stop them!
Dizzy: It kinda is our fault.
Hiei: You mean my fault.
Plucky: No.
Sora: Actually, Toguro and the Heartless are to blame for this.
He leans down to Genkai.
Sora: Genkai, you go help the villagers, while we'll take care of Toguro.
Keiko: Me and Botan will take care of Genkai. You guys will go after Toguro.
Sora: Right! Let's go, guys!
While Keiko and Botan stayed behind to help Genkai, Sora, Yusuke, and the rest of the gang went up to the summit. It was a snowy mountain. On top of it, everyone could see the Toguro Bros. Accompanying them are a new type of Heartless. They are bird-like Heartless called the Rapid Thrusters.(Good night, everybody!)
Y. Toguro: ATTACK!
The Rapid Thrusters came charging down the mountain. Everyone came charging after the Heartless. Sora swings his Keyblade at the swarm of Heartless, Yusuke uses his Spirit Shotgun, Plucky uses Thunder, Dizzy uses Spin Attack, Kuwabara uses his Spirit Sword Shard, which is similar to Yusuke's Spirit Shotgun, Kurama uses his Rose Whip Thorn Wheel, which he summons a bunch of rose petals to create a rose tornado, and Hiei uses his Fist of the Mortal Flame.
After dealing with the Rapid Thrusters, some tower-like Heartless called the Bolt Towers joined the battle. Sora swings his Keyblade into their faces, Yusuke uses his Spirit Punch, Plucky uses Fire and Blizzard, Dizzy uses his Headbutt, Kuwabara uses his Double Spirit Swords, which he creates two Spirit Swords, Kurama uses his Rose Whip, and Hiei uses his Sword of the Darkness Flame. They easily took out all of the Bolt Towers. After finishing off all of the Heartless, some more Rapid Thrusters appeared by the sides of the Toguro Bros. Younger Toguro leads the charge down the mountain. Suddenly, Rinku, Jin, and Chu has joined in the battle.
Rinku: Stand back, guys!
Jin: We'll handle this!
The three demons got in their fighting stances. Yusuke got in front of the three demons.
Yusuke: Sorry, guys. I'll deal with them.
He then starts charging his Spirit Gun, but aims at a higher mountain besides the one the Toguro Bros. was on.
Hiei: Yusuke, What are you doing?
After fully charging his Spirit Gun, Yusuke fires a Mega Spirit Gun, which he fires a giant energy sphere. The Mega Spirit Gun hits the top of the mountain, which creates an avalanche. Sora turns to see Genkai, Keiko, and Botan heading to their direction.
Yusuke: Genkai, Keiko, Botan, LOOK OUT!
The avalanche came crashing down the mountain, hitting the Toguro Bros. and the Heartless army. Yusuke ran up to protect Genkai and the girls. Everyone else follows and avoids the avalanche.
Genkai: Thanks, Yusuke.
Yusuke: That was nothing.
Keiko ran up to Yusuke and hugs him.
Keiko: Yusuke! I'm so glad you're OK!
Genkai stood up.
Genkai: It was wrong of me to doubt you. You have my trust from now on.
Yusuke: Thanks, Genkai.
Hiei got out of the snow.
Hiei: THAT IDIOT, YUSUKE! HE HAD TO AIM AT THE MOUNTAIN AND NEARLY GOT US ALL KILLED! WAIT TILL GENKAI HEARS ABOUT IT! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! I SHOULD NEVER LEARN TO TRUST HUMANS LIKE YUSUKE!
Yusuke: Hiei!
Hiei looks at Yusuke, then turns to Genkai and covers his mouth.
Genkai: Yusuke? A human? It can't be!
She looks at Yusuke, who chuckles nervously. Sora and the gang ran to them.
Sora: Yusuke! Genkai!
Genkai walks up to Sora's gang.
Dizzy: Genkai is OK!
Genkai: You all knew, didn't you? You knew Yusuke was really a human all along.
The trio looks at Genkai with an awkward look. Keiko tried to come up in defense of Yusuke.
Keiko: If it makes you feel any better, Genkai. Me and Kuwabara are humans, too.
Genkai: SILENCE! I can't believe Yusuke lied to me.
She walks away from the group and then stops.
Genkai: The punishment for high treason and dishonoring the army...is death.
Yusuke and the rest of the gang turns to Genkai. She then turns to them.
Genkai: I'll let you all leave, but you're not gonna be in my army anymore. Get outta my sight...now. You all, including the boy and his animal friends, are dismissed.
Sora: But Genkai...
Genkai: My debt is repaid.
She walks away to the ridge and turns to her men.
Genkai: Koenma is waiting. Move out!
Genkai, Rinku, Jin, and Chu all walked down the mountain, while Sora, Yusuke, and the rest of the gang stays behind. Keiko and Botan stays to comfort Yusuke.
Plucky: That moody old lady! We just defeated the Toguro Bros. and this is the respect we deserved?
Yusuke: I'm sorry for getting you guys in trouble.
Sora: It's no big deal. So, what will become of you now?
Yusuke: I guess I'll go back home to my mom.
Hiei: But your mom will be as steamed as a pork dumpling.
Yusuke sighs in disappointment. But Sora puts his arms around Plucky and Dizzy and smiles.
Sora: Don't worry. We'll share some of the blame.
Keiko: I'll be part of the blame, too.
Kuwabara: Don't count me out, Urameshi.
Kurama: I'll join in, too.
Hiei: I should take the blame the most for exposing you.
Yusuke: Thank you all. You're all wonderful friends.
Before they started heading down the mountain, they saw the Toguro Bros. got out of the snow. Younger Toguro yells in anger and several Heartless appears besides him.
Yusuke: The Toguro Bros.!
Sora: They're alive!
In front of the Toguro Bros. is a dark portal, which Ganondorf came out.
Yusuke: Who's that?
Sora: That's Ganondorf! But I thought he's dead.
Ganondorf: Well done, Toguro Bros. I have a new mission for you. I will send you to the Spirit World to kill Koenma.
He leads the Toguro Bros. to the dark portal. The portal then disappears.
Yusuke: You hear that, guys? They're heading for the Spirit World! We've gotta warn Genkai!
Everyone: Right!
Botan: I will send everyone to the Spirit World!
She got on her magic oar and everyone climbs onto it. The magic oar went flying at really fast speed to the Spirit World. In the middle of the Spirit World is what appears to be an East Asian palace.
Sora: What's that?
Botan: That's Koenma's Palace. It is the home of Koenma.
Yusuke: We gotta hurry!
The whole gang lands by the entrance of the palace and opens the gate. As they went through the gate, they saw Genkai, Rinku, Jin, and Chu. The gang ran past the three demons and ran up to Genkai.
Yusuke: Genkai!
Genkai stops and turns to the gang.
Yusuke: We have some bad news! The Toguro Bros. are alive! They're heading for Koenma's Palace!
Genkai: Why should I believe you? I told you to go home.
Sora: He's telling you the truth!
Plucky looks around and saw something.
Plucky: If you don't believe us, look up there!
He points to the roof of the palace. Everyone looks at the roof. On it is Ganondorf and the Toguro Bros.
Genkai: Guard the palace! Do not let the Toguro Bros. get near Koenma!
Rinku, Jin, and Chu charges at the palace. Genkai turns around to see Heartless appear behind her. Sora and Yusuke stood in front of her.
Sora: Don't worry! We'll take care of the Heartless! You go to the palace and protect Koenma, while we'll secure the courtyard!
Plucky: That's an order!
Genkai nods and ran off. Sora, Yusuke, and the rest of the gang manages to finish off the Heartless.
Yusuke: Now, we must save Koenma!
Sora: No time to lose!
Everyone ran towards the palace. At the palace gate, Younger Toguro has a baby-like person cornered. The baby has a pacifier in his mouth and wears a purple Chinese robe and hat.
Y. Toguro: Now, you'll bow to me and make me ruler of both the Spirit and Demon Worlds.
?: LEAVE HIM ALONE!
Younger Toguro turns to see Sora, Yusuke, and the rest of the gang in their fighting stances. Genkai jumps in front of Younger Toguro and uses her martial arts skills to knock him out. Keiko and Botan escorts the baby to the front door.
Yusuke: Kuwabara, Kurama, you guys protect Koenma! Me, Sora, and Hiei will take care of Toguro!
Kuwabara, Kurama, and Genkai follows the girls to the front door. Jin and Chu closed the door, as Genkai looks back at them. Younger Toguro stood up, looking very angry. He ran towards the front door. But Sora, Yusuke, Hiei, Plucky, and Dizzy stood in front of it.
Yusuke: It's all over for you!
Sora: Right now!
Elder Toguro joins alongside his brother, as Younger Toguro laughs.
Y. Toguro: So, you think it's over for me? Think again, Yusuke. It's gonna be over for you.
Younger Toguro starts charging up his energy, as waves of darkness consumes him. His sunglasses broke and his clothes starts to tear apart, as his muscles grew bigger, leaving only his pants as short as shorts. His skin has changed to gray, his muscles are much bigger, and his shoulders hang out like pauldrons. He's at his 100% form.
Plucky:(Whimpers)Great, now he's become the Incredible Hulk.
Sora: Plucky, that's not a Shonen anime.
Plucky:(Whimpers)Well, I'm not gonna stick around. Nice knowing you, guys.
He tried to walk away, but Sora and Dizzy grabs him.
Sora: Me, Yusuke, and Hiei will take care of the bigger Toguro. You and Dizzy will take care of the smaller Toguro.
Plucky: At least I'm not fighting muscle man.
Plucky and Dizzy took care of Elder Toguro. Plucky starts off by using Thunder on Elder Toguro, while Dizzy delivers punches and kicks. They both did some damage to Elder Toguro. He then counters against them by extending his fingers at Plucky, stabbing him with his sharp claws, and transforms his right arm into a sword and slashed Dizzy.
Plucky: Man, we now have a One Piece reference with his finger attack. It's like he ate a Gum Gum Fruit.
Meanwhile, Sora, Yusuke, and Hiei are fighting Full Power Younger Toguro. Sora uses the Fire attack, but it did no effect on him. Yusuke uses his Spirit Shotgun, but he still took no damage. Hiei uses his Fist of the Mortal Flame, but it didn't flinch him. He grabs Hiei and slams him into the ground, creating a crater. He then runs to Yusuke and starts pummeling him, dealing alot of damage. He proceeds to go after Sora and charges his hand with energy. He then delivers a powerful punch to Sora, dealing alot of damage. Sora, Yusuke, and Hiei are panting heavily.
Sora: Man...He is...too powerful.
Hiei: It's like...fighting a...S-class demon.
Yusuke: We can't...give up...We have to...defeat him.
Sora turns to Dizzy, who is still fighting Elder Toguro.
Sora: Dizzy, we need to try out that Valor Form.
Dizzy turns back to Sora.
Dizzy: Right!
Sora and Dizzy ran to each other. They jumped into the air and merged together. Sora is now in his Valor Form. He carries the Kingdom Key and Star Seeker Keyblades.
Plucky: Great. Now, leave me alone to fight the Monkey D. Luffy wannabe.
Hiei joins in with Plucky.
Hiei: Don't worry, Plucky. I'll help you.
He took off his shirt and uses his Sword of the Darkness Flame to slice Elder Toguro into pieces. Plucky finished off the remains of him by using Fire on him.
Plucky: That takes care of one of the Toguro Bros.
Hiei: Now, we need to focus on Younger Toguro.
Plucky: Well, you can go fight him. I'll just sit back and watch.
Hiei: You really are a coward.
Hiei went back to join Sora and Yusuke, who are fighting Younger Toguro. Sora was attacking Younger Toguro with his Keyblade combo attacks, doing some damage to him. Yusuke uses his Spirit Kick on Younger Toguro, doing some more damage, Hiei uses his Sword of the Darkness Flame, damaging Younger Toguro alot.
Sora: Now, let's try out Dizzy's signature move!
Sora uses Dizzy's Spin Attack, spinning his whole body, and doing alot of damage to Younger Toguro. Yusuke starts firing his Mega Spirit Gun, while Hiei uses his Dragon of the Darkness Flame, unleashing a black flaming dragon. It combines with the Spirit Gun and the combo attack hits Younger Toguro.
Y. Toguro: CURSE YOU, SPIRIT DETECTIVE!
The attack obliterates him and he is nowhere to be seen. Sora got out of his Valor Form and Dizzy went back to his normal self. Kuwabara and Kurama went out to see what happened.
Kurama: What happened to the Toguro Bros?
Yusuke: They are no more.
Kuwabara starts marching around.
Kuwabara: Now, that's what I call teamwork! Urameshi's the best! Urameshi's the best! No wait! I'm the best! Kuwabara's the best! Kuwabara's the best!
Yusuke: Kuwabara! You were given orders to protect Koenma. Me and Hiei did the work taking care of the Toguro Bros.
Kuwabara: That's why you gave me the best part of the job.
Yusuke just sweatdrops from that comment. Koenma came out of his palace with Genkai, Keiko, and Botan following him. Yusuke bows to Koenma.
Plucky: So, the ruler of the Spirit World is a little baby?
He starts laughing, but Sora starts hitting him on the back, making him stop.
Koenma: Yusuke, I've heard a great deal about you. You ran away from home, impersonated a demon warrior, deceived your master and commander, shamed the entire Demon World army, and dishonored your friends and family.
Sora: We get the picture.
Koenma: You're just a young man. But in the end...
Plucky was worried about the outcome of what's gonna happen, but Koenma then smiles.
Koenma: You have saved us all. Thank you.
Our heroes were speechless. Then they hear cheering behind them. They turned around to see a huge crowd cheering them on. The whole gang just celebrates. Keiko even kissed Yusuke on the cheek, making him blush. Yusuke turns to Koenma with a smile.
Yusuke: Thank you, Koenma.
Koenma: Genkai.
Genkai picks up the sword made from Elder Toguro's hand and gave it to Yusuke.
Koenma: Take this sword, so the Spirit World and Demon World will know what you have done for them.
Yusuke: Thank you.
Genkai: Yusuke, Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, thank you.
She bows down to them.
Koenma: "Thank you?" Is that all you have to say to them? If you wish to win trust from Yusuke, you'll have to be a bit more eloquent than that.
Genkai: Right. I'm sorry for my behavior earlier. I should have treated you better.
Sora puts his hand on Yusuke's shoulder.
Sora: Can I have your autograph?
Everyone laughs. Then Yusuke turns to Sora.
Yusuke: Thanks for everything, Sora.
Kuwabara: Now, I should settle my rivalry with Urameshi! I gotta!
Dizzy: But Dizzy thought Yusuke and Kuwabara are best friends.
Kuwabara: What? Oh, no, no, don't worry about that. That's just technical for us delinquents.
Sora: You lied to us!
He starts chasing Kuwabara around, while everyone laughs. Then the sword on Yusuke's hand starts glowing and floating in the air. Sora looks at the sword and he knows what to do. He summons his Keyblade and held it with both hands, his Keyblade starts glowing, a crown shape appears below him, a gust of wind blew around him, the sword shot a beam at the sky, revealing a Keyhole. Sora leapt back, twirls the Keyblade around, shot a beam at the Keyhole, unlocking it, and it disappears.
Yusuke: Sora, what was that?
Plucky: It means a new path has opened.
Dizzy: It time for us to go.
Koenma: I see. We'll miss you all.
Sora: But we can come back again, right?
Yusuke: Of course you can.
Genkai: We would look forward to your return.
Hiei: Before you leave, take this with you.
He gave Sora a Keychain called the Jagan Eye. He puts it one and the Keyblade changes shape. It now looks like a Keyblade made of black flames.(Think if it like a black flame version of the Hidden Dragon Keyblade.)
Hiei: I hope it will help you on your journey.
Sora: Thanks, Hiei. See you later, Yusuke.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy waves good-bye to Yusuke and his friends.
Yusuke: Good-bye, Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy.
Sora and the gang left the palace and returns to the Gummi Ship.
Sora: OK. Now, where do we go next?
Sweetie: We can go to the world that is west from here.
Sora: Then let's take off!
Sneezer: Yes, captain!
The Gummi Ship left the Demon World and took off into space.
That's it for chapter 8. Next time, Sora and the gang will travel from one 90s anime world to another 90s anime world.
