The Charge on the Cathedral

A large army of Trolls was amassing outside the Cathedral fortress of the creature known as Lord Deyo. at the helm was a trio of Trolls who had brought this army together.

The first was Eddy, he was a Rock Troll with black pants, a bare chest, and a black mullet, carrying a greatsword on his back, acting the de facto leader, all the trolls considered him a natural. after his people were betrayed he formed an alliance with others willing to stand up against Deyo

The next was a green Pop Troll named Twiggy, she was an inventor who wore goggles covering her eyes and she wore armor made of tree bark, riding a Growlbeast that she had trained, she was adjusting her crossbow, getting ready for what could be the final battle.

"Lastly was Jesse, a Country Troll wearing a denim outfit and hat, twirling two revolvers, saying he could not stand by while Deyo was enslaving their people, he wasn't keen on fighting others but knew this was something that had to be done.

"Okay everyone, listen up" Eddy called, getting everyone's attention as they turned to the Rock Troll was giving the army a speech before they marched in on Deyo.

"I Won't lie to you, some of us, probably most of us won't make it through today, storming Deyo's fortress is a suicide mission, it's loaded with guards and traitors who have allied with King Greatmane, when we go in there we will have to fight our own kind, trolls that we grew up with, friends, maybe even family," Eddy said as the trolls were obviously upset at the concept of doing battle with their own kind.

"But they chose this fate when they sided with Deyo, who would love nothing more than to make us all his slaves, now a large army will storm in from the front, and as I said, you will probably be killed but while keeping the guards distracted with the battle in the main entrance a small team consisting on me, Twiggy and Jesse will sneak in from behind and confront Deyo directly," Eddy said as Jesse looked at the Rock Troll.

Jesse asked if it was right for him to throw the other trolls straight into the enemy. Eddy wished there was another way but it was the best route. most of them would die either way so this plan was the best option.

"Just remember, even if they kill us, we will not make it easy for them, if just one Troll makes it to Deyo, even if they fall, others will follow and we will show Deyo that we would rather die free than live as slaves. and what we do here, future trolls will sing about for generations and those about to die, I personally salute you. Now let's show Deyo what Trolls are made of'' Eddy said rallying his troops.

Eddy had a natural gift of boosting the morale of others as they were getting ready to storm Deyo's fortress. the main army was doing checks on their weapons as the Trio snuck around the back.

"Okay Thorns, let's get ready for this" Twiggy said, rubbing the chin of her pet Growlbeast as the creature nuzzled her rider. the Pop Troll climbed on the creature's back as Eddy and Jesse clung on. Eddy asked if Thorns really could carry the three of them as Twiggy rubbed the beast's head using it to scale the stone building.

Thorns jammed her claws into the wall climbing up, Eddy looked at Twiggy saying how thankful he was that Twiggy knew how to tame Growlbeasts as she smirked, considering herself a nature expert.

"It's all about establishing trust with them and if you start when they're young they'll imprint on you" Twiggy explained as Jesse loaded his guns, trying not to look down, heights never did it for him as due to his body shape he was heavier than the others and feared falling off. The beast reached the window which was a stained glass pattern as Thorns jumped through the window, the sound of shattering glass echoed through the empty hall as the trolls climbed off Thorns.

the Interior of the Cathedral was a stone floor with candles lining up against the wall, stuck to a mass of melted wax, the windows were stained glass, also giving the place a divine appearance as they looked around

"It's quiet, there are no guards here," Twiggy said loading her crossbow as Eddy looked around, concluding they were probably fighting downstairs. their next goal was to make their way to Deyo's chamber as they ran through the building looking for the door. The trio made their way to a huge iron door where two Troll guards were standing guard, each holding a bladed staff.

I can handle these chumps" Jesse said as he walked out from around the corner, looking at the two Trolls, wearing black robes as they prepared their staffs, running toward the Country Troll who pulled the revolvers from his belt, unloading his bullets into the two guards as they fell over. Jesse blew on the end of his guns, twirling them as Twiggy and Eddy walked out looking at the two dead trolls. it pained Eddy to see this.

"This ends today," Eddy claimed, pulling the sword from his back, unsheathing a long metal blade attached to a guitar neck, grabbing the long handle ready to storm down the door and do battle with Deyo for a final fight.

"Oh, there you are" a smug voice as the trio turned seeing a troll leaning against the wall he was a rock troll with light blue skin and huge blond hairdo, even by troll standards, wearing a sleeveless denim vest covered with gemstones, a pair of fuzzy pants and a long scarf wrapped around his neck, topped with a glitter-covered headband.

"King Greatmane, leader of the Rock Trolls, what a surprise to see you here" Eddy groaned as if the troll's name was bile. He was the king of Eddy's people and sold them out to Deyo, now he was acting as one of his lieutenants. Eddy pointed his sword tip at his traitor of a king as Greatmane simply brushed the blade aside.

"Edward, you and your little ragtag group embarrass me, If only you could see that I'm doing this FOR Trollkind, I'm trying to show Deyo that we can be useful to him, so he doesn't just wipe us off the map, it's a necessary evil to ensure the well being of our species" Greatmane puffed as Eddy simply scowled, reminding the King that he sold out his own people.

Greatmane scoffed walking to the broken window, looking at the trio, Jesse had his guns trained on Greatmane and Twiggy aimed her crossbow, both of them just needed the word to fire. Greatmane just looked at Eddy shaking his head in disapproval.

"Do what you want, but I warn you, you do not want to go through that door" Greatmane said jumping out of the window, hair-gliding away from the building as Jesse and Twiggy asked if they should go after him, Eddy just put up his hand.

"Leave him, Greatmane is not our true enemy, we came here to fight Deyo and he is just beyond those doors," Eddy said as they stood outside the door to Deyo's chamber, each shaking with the knowledge that would probably die, Eddy looked at his friends.

"Well, before we do this, does anyone have anything they would want to get off their chest before this fight as Jesse reloaded his guns, looking at Eddy, saying that if he had to die he was glad he could fight for the right of his fellow trolls. Jesse finished reloading his guns. He pulled a flask out, taking a swig.

"Anyone else" Jesse offered, handing the flask around as Twiggy took it, taking a small sip, before looking at the horse troll, asking what was in that as Jesse smirked saying it was an aged brew from his personal stash.

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, I mean we're storming into Deyo's personal chamber where he is no doubt waiting for us. This will be the hardest moment of our lives as she handed the flask to Eddy, wishing she had done more with her life, rubbing Thorns' ear and the beast comforted her.

"Well, no point in turning back now, we're here. what happens in the room will change the events of history" Eddy said taking the flask, taking a swig of the liquid as he screwed the tip on the flask handing it back to Jesse who slid it back in his pocket as he looked at Twiggy, instructing the Pop Troll to blow the door as Twiggy pulled a homemade explosive from her hair as throw it at the door. the sticky mass attached to the door as twiggy instructed everyone to take cover as the doors blew off the walls in an explosion.

"Attack" Eddy yelled as the trio ran into the chamber.
