The next world will be a Pokemon world. It will be based off of Pokemon Gen 4.
Chapter 12: Trouble in the Distortion World Part 1
In the stadium of the Lily of the Valley Conference, There are three giant Legendary Pokemon. One is a giant red dinosaur-like creature with a rocky hard body. One is a giant blue whale-like creature with giant fins that look like wings. The last one was a long and thin green dragon. They are battling what looks like a green lizard with two leaves on each arm, a tail with a bunch of leaves coming out, and six orbs on the lizard's back. Another creature looks like a red and white monkey with a flame on it's head. The last creature looks like a blue rhino beetle. The Legendary Pokemon are Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. The Pokemon they are battling are Sceptile, Infernape, and Heracross. Commanding the three Pokemon was a boy with black spiky hair, wears a red and black cap with a blue ball on it, a black shirt with white sleeves and a yellow v-shaped crest on it, blue jeans, and black fingerless gloves. The boy was none other than Ash Ketchum.
Ash: Sceptile, use Leaf Blade on Kyogre! Infernape, use Flare Blitz on Rayquaza! Heracross, use Megahorn on Groudon!
Sceptile's leaves on his arm glows green, as he slashed at Kyogre. Infernape's body gets engulfed in a fiery red aura, as he charges at Rayquaza, Heracross's horn on his head glows green, as he charges at Groudon. All three Legendary Pokemon got knocked out, as the crowd cheers for Ash's victory. Ash raised his fist in victory. A yellow mouse with red cheeks and a thunderbolt-shaped tail joins in the celebration. That Pokemon is Pikachu.
Ash: WE DID IT!
Pikachu: PIKA!
World: Lily of the Valley Conference
Back in the Distortion World, Sora and the gang got up from the crash.
Plucky: OW! My head.
Sora: Where are we?
Sora and the gang looks around the Distortion World to see that the sky is all dark blue and there all floating islands all over the place.
Dizzy: Is this really Lily of the Valley Conference?
Plucky: No. The Lily of the Valley Conference is over there.
He points to the portal that leads to the outside. The portal shows the stadium that Plucky mentioned.
Sora: I guess we were a little off. Where is the Gummi Ship anyways?
Dizzy: Right here.
He points to the Gummi Ship. Sweetie and Sneezer were currently working on the ship. Sora and the gang ran up to the ship.
Sora: Sweetie, Sneezer, how long will it take, until the ship starts functioning again?
Sweetie: It won't take too long.
She then looks at Sneezer with a crossed look.
Sweetie: If only somebody didn't sneeze on the controls again.
Sneezer: Heh, heh, sorry. I couldn't control it.
Sora: Now, that leaves us with Elder-Ham missing.
Suddenly, Sora's jacket starts shaking and out came Elder-Ham.
Elder-Ham: I'm right here.
Sora: OK. Now, that were altogether, we should take a look around this place.
Sneezer: Be careful, you guys.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy left the Gummi Ship and starts looking around the Distortion World.
Sora: What kinda world is this place?
The gang then hears a girl scream. Sora turns to Plucky.
Sora: Plucky, why do you have to scream.
Plucky: It wasn't me.
Sora: Then who was it?
Dizzy: Look!
He points to three girls getting chased by purple dog-like Heartless. The girl in the middle has brown hair, wears a green bandana with a white stripe across it, an orange sleeveless shirt with a black collar, black shorts, and black and white gloves. The girl next to her has orange short hair with one short ponytail, wears a yellow sleeveless top with a red shirt under it, and yellow shorts. The last girl next to them has long blue hair, wears a white hat with a pink ball on it, a black dress with a pink skirt, a pink scarf around her neck, and pink boots. Besides the girls are three Pokemon. One next to the brown hair girl is a pink kitten-like Pokemon with squinty eyes and yellow face. One next to the orange hair girl is a blue baby mouse-like Pokemon with a ball-shaped tail. One next to the blue hair girl is a small blue penguin-like Pokemon. Sora and the gang immediately recognizes the brown hair girl and the kitten Pokemon.
Sora: That's May and Skitty!
Plucky: Looks like they are being chased by Heartless.
Dizzy: We gotta help them!
Sora and the gang ran up to the girls and the Heartless. The Heartless saw them and ran away. Sora ran up to help the girls.
Sora: Are you OK?
The girls got up from the ground.
May: We're fine. Thank you.
May and Skitty recognizes Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy.
May: Sora! Plucky! Dizzy! It's good to see you three again!
Skitty: Nya! Nya!
Girl 2: May, do you know these three?
May: Of course I do. I've met them back in the Ever Grande Conference over a year ago.
Girl 3: Who are they?
Sora: I'm Sora.
He points to Plucky.
Sora: He's Plucky Duck.
He points to Dizzy.
Sora: And that's Dizzy Devil.
Girl 2: Nice to meet you. I'm Misty. I used to travel with Ash all over Kanto and Johto.
She then picks up her blue mouse Pokemon.
Misty: And this is Azurill.
Azurill: Azu!
Girl 3: My name is Dawn. I traveled with Ash all over Sinnoh.
She then picks up her penguin Pokemon.
Dawn: And this is Piplup.
Piplup: Piplup!
May: So, what brings you three here?
Sora: We came to see how Ash is doing.
Plucky: That's right. Because we're heroes, too.
Dizzy: Don't Plucky mean junior heroes?
Plucky sweatdrops. May, Misty, and Dawn giggles.
Misty: It looks like we have a friend in common.
Sora: So, how's Ash?
Dawn: He's been fighting in the stadium everyday. A Pokemon Trainer's work is never done and all that.
May: But he's ready to drop, but keeps on fighting. Ash's Pokemon may be strong, but they do have their limits.
Misty: These opponents are all bad news. Special deliveries from Giovanni himself.
Sora, Plucky, & Dizzy: GIOVANNI?
Dawn: Do you three know him?
Sora: It's a long story. Please continue.
May: Me and my friends are on our way to see him. Maybe we can tell Giovanni to give Ash a breather. If anything happens to him...
The girls all looked worried. The trio noticed their looks.
Dizzy: Girls must be more than just friends with Ash.
The three girls blushed.
May: Hey, knock it off, Dizzy!
Sora: How about we go and talk to Giovanni.
Dawn: You will?
Sora: Yeah. If anything happens to you three, I don't think Ash would be so happy.
May: Thank you, Sora. I knew I could count on you.
Misty: Let's just keep this chat-with-Giovanni thing our little secret, OK?
Sora, Plucky, & Dizzy: Our lips are sealed!
Sora: Come on, guys. Let's give Giovanni a little visit.
The girls made their way back to the Lily of the Valley Conference, while Sora and the gang went on a small island. The island starts moving and took them to a much bigger island.
Sora: That's weird. This island can move on it's own.
The island finally arrives on the big island and the trio disembarks. When they stepped on the island, the same dog-like Heartless appeared. They are called Rabid Dogs. The trio manages to finish them off and proceeds forward. As they go deeper in the canyon, they saw a black-cloaked figure running away.
Plucky: It's the Organization!
Sora: Yeah. I wonder what he's doing here.
The trio decides to follow him. Along the way, they avoided the boulders falling down from the canyon and battled Heartless. They fought Rabid Dogs and Lance Knights. When they reached the end of the canyon, they saw the cloaked figure running towards them. Sora got his Keyblade out to fight, but the figure ran past him.
No. IX: Run! Run! Run away!
The figure ran through the dark portal and disappears.
Sora: OK.
Plucky: What's with him?
Meanwhile, in a Team Rocket base in the Distortion World, a man with short brown hair and wearing a red business suit is on his chair, petting a big yellow cat-like Pokemon. The man is Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, and the Pokemon he's petting is Persian. Giovanni was talking to Montana Max. Next to Monty are two people and a small yellow cat-like Pokemon. One of the thugs is a young man with long purple hair, wears a white long sleeve shirt with a red letter R on it, white pants, and black rubber boots and gloves. The other was a young woman with very long red hair, a white midriff with the same red letter R on it, a white skirt, and long black rubber boots and gloves. The cat Pokemon has a koban coin on it's head. They are James, Jessie, and Meowth, the Three Stooges of Team Rocket.
Giovanni: Where do we get these guys? No matter how many Pokemon I bring up, that twerp and his Pokemon always defeats them.
Monty: Oh, they're nothing but trouble, the whole lot of them. So, what are you gonna do about Ash? He's defeated every single Pokemon you sent after him. Pretty soon, Team Rocket will become a laughing stock of the Pokemon World. Why not pick someone whose already dead and save him the trouble?
Giovanni slams his fist on the chair, which made Monty and Meowth hug each other in fear, as well as Jessie and James, but then he stops and smirks.
Giovanni: Dead...Dead is good. And I know just the warrior.
Meanwhile, the trio made their way to the bridge, which leads to Team Rocket's base. Plucky and Dizzy looks down the bridge and saw that there's a long way down to nothingness. They both shivered in fear.
Dizzy:(Whimpers)Dizzy is scared.
Plucky:(Whimpers)Me too, Dizzy.
Sora: GIOVANNI! SHOW YOURSELF!
There was no response. Suddenly, a new type of Heartless appeared. They are pink flower-like Heartless called Creeper Plants. They also fought some Hook Bats, too. The Creeper Plants fired their petals at the trio, but they dodged their attacks. The trio defeats the Heartless and made their way to Team Rocket's base. Meanwhile, Giovanni shows Monty a giant machine.
Monty: What kinda machine is that?
Giovanni: It's my newest machine. It's meant to bring the dead back to life. I'm going to revive one of the greatest warriors in the universe.
Monty and the Team Rocket trio looks at him in shock.
Monty: You don't say...
The four bad guys stepped backwards to a wall.
Meowth: Maybe we should go.
Giovanni: Oh no. Stay around for the party. Because it's showtime!
He taps a few buttons and the machine activates. The portal on the ground in front of the machine lit up, revealing a bunch of spirits. Out of the spirits came a figure. The figure steps out of the portal to reveal a man with black spiky hair, wears a red robe, and wields a big sword. Giovanni laughs evilly.
Giovanni: Welcome, my new minion. Now, let's cut to the chase. Here's the deal I am offering you. I let you out of your resting place, no strings, you'll be free as a Pidgey.
The man looks at Monty and the Team Rocket trio. Jessie and James are hugging each other in fear, as well as Monty and Meowth.
Giovanni: On one occasion. Fight Ash, defeat him, and bring me that Pikachu.
The man grins.
Man: This is my story. And you're not part of it.
The man pulls out his sword and got in a fighting stance.
Giovanni:(Angry)Did you forget who you are talking to? I am the leader of Team Rocket!
Man: Heh. No wonder no one wants to die.
Giovanni: Why you...THAT'S IT! RHYPERIOR, I CHOOSE YOU!
He pulls out a red and white ball called a Pokeball and threw it in the air. Out of the ball came a dark gray humanoid rhino Pokemon with orange plates all over it's body. It is called Rhyperior, the evolved form of Rhydon. Rhyperior uses Hammer Arm, making it's arm glow, and proceeds to attack the man, but he blocks the attack with his sword. Suddenly, Sora and the gang came.
Plucky: Giovanni!
Giovanni: Not you again!
The man slashed Rhyperior away. He then turns to Sora.
Man: Fight! You have to help me!
The man swings his sword at Rhyperior, but the Pokemon blocks it with it's hand. It then uses Megahorn and hits the man with it, knocking him down. Rhyperior was ready to charge up it's Hyper Beam, but then stops, when Sora got in front of the man.
Sora: Get up, while we hold him off!
Sora tried to slash Rhyperior, but it did no damage. Plucky uses Thunder on Rhyperior, but it still did no damage. Dizzy uses Spin Attack on Rhyperior, but still did no damage.
Plucky: Something's going on.
Sora: I feel funny.
Giovanni: That's right, kids. See, here's a thing. In the Distortion World, heroes are zeroes. Only evil can win here.
Rhyperior charges at the trio, but the man slashed the Pokemon away.
Man: We have to get outta here!
Sora: But I've gotta talk to Giovanni!
Giovanni has two fingers in his ears.
Giovanni: I'm sorry. What was that?
Plucky: I think he's right, kid. We have to go!
Plucky and Dizzy ran to the exit, but Sora went after Giovanni, as Rhyperior charges up a Hyper Beam. But the man stops Sora and grabs his arm.
Man: We can't fight him here! We have to go...NOW!
The man took Sora to the exit, as Rhyperior fires it's Hyper Beam, firing an orange beam, but it missed the two. The two caught up to Plucky and Dizzy.
Plucky: Is he gone now?
Man: Don't count on it.
The man turns to see Rhyperior, chasing after them. Suddenly, the Heartless surrounded our heroes. There is a barrier blocking the bridge, too.
Plucky: Great! Now, we've got company!
Sora: Don't worry. Me and Dizzy can take care of this. Dizzy!
Dizzy: Right!
Sora and Dizzy ran to each other to try to merge into their Valor Form, but they bumped into each other and fell down on the floor instead.
Dizzy: It didn't work. Did it ran out of juice?
Sora: Don't worry. I have another thing.
He pulls out the Samurai Charm to try to call out the Samurai Pizza Cats, but it didn't work either.
Sora: What's going on? My Summon Charm isn't working, either!
Suddenly, they turned to see Giovanni and Rhyperior came after them. Giovanni laughs evilly.
Giovanni: That's one thing I forgot to tell you. Your Drive Form and Summons won't work in the Distortion World, either.
Dizzy: We gotta get outta here!
Man: We need to combine our powers.
Sora: Didn't you hear what Giovanni said? My Valor Form won't work here.
Man: Not that kind of combination. I meant our Limits
Plucky: Limit? What's that?
Man: It's when two people work together to unleash their special attacks.
Sora: Well, let's give it a try.
Sora and the man stood side by side and uses their Limit called Bushido. It starts with Shooting Star, which they create a giant Spin Attack. They then use Banishing Blade, where they slam their blades on the ground and create a bunch of fire pillars. Finally, it ends with Spiral, where they spin their weapons to create a powerful tornado. They destroyed the Heartless and the barrier disappears. The trio made their way through the bridge, avoiding Rhyperior's attacks. When they made it to the end of the bridge, more Heartless appeared and another barrier blocks the exit.
Plucky: Great! Just when we were out of the storm.
Sora: Relax, Plucky. We need to finish off the Heartless and then were outta here.
Sora and the man uses Bushido again, using Shooting Star, Banishing Blade, and Spiral. They eliminated the Heartless and the barrier disappears. The trio manages to escape to the canyon. Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy were on the floor, panting heavily. Sora turns to the man.
Sora: Thanks! You're a really good fighter. Are you some kinda hero or something?
The man shook his head no.
Man: No, I'm no hero...In fact, I forgotten everything...Giovanni may have revived me, but I can't remember my past...All I know are my abilities and my name.
Sora: Who are you?
Man: If you wanna know who I am...It's Auron.
Sora stood back up.
Sora: I'm Sora.
Plucky jumps on Sora's back.
Plucky: I'm Plucky Duck.
Dizzy jumps on Plucky's back.
Dizzy: Me Dizzy Devil.
Sora fell down with Plucky and Dizzy on top of him. Auron just smiles.
Auron: It seems we were fated to meet. Maybe you need a guardian.
Sora manages to push Plucky and Dizzy off him.
Sora: Guardian? Thanks for the offer, but I don't need a guardian.
Auron: So it seems. Anyway, we should leave, before Giovanni comes back.
The gang made their way to the end of the canyon. Meanwhile, Giovanni returns to Team Rocket's base, where Monty and the Team Rocket trio waited for him.
Meowth: Hey, Boss! Did you get dem?
Giovanni: No. They got away.
Monty: Don't worry. I have the Heartless all over the Distortion World. You can leave those losers to me. In the mean time, you can capture that Pikachu from Ash, while I can turn him into a Heartless, so he can be all mine.
Giovanni: DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I'M THE LEADER OF TEAM ROCKET! THE DISTORTION WORLD WILL BE MINE! I'LL HANDLE THIS MYSELF!
The Team Rocket trio walks up to Giovanni.
Jessie: You can count on us to take care of those twerps.
James: We have gotten alot stronger since we last fought them.
Meowth: We can defeat dem and you can make me da top cat.
Giovanni: Don't bother. You three have been proven useless multiple times. I know a certain duo who can take care of them.
He pulls out a whistle and blows on it. Then two Rocket Grunts ran up to him. One is a young woman with blonde hair and two long pigtails, wears a black dress with a red letter R on it, and long white gloves and boots. The other was a young man with short green hair, wears a black suit also with a red letter R on it, black pants, and white gloves and boots. They bowed down to Giovanni.
Giovanni: Cassidy, Butch, you two take care of the Keyblade twerp and his friends.
Cassidy & Butch: Yes, sir!
The two Rocket Grunts left. Jessie and James made jealous faces.
Jessie: It's not fair that Cassidy gets to go after the twerps!
James: Why did you have to bring those two to do our job?
Giovanni: Because they have a higher success rate than you three. They will not fail me.
Back to our heroes, they made it to the end of the canyon, where the small island is waiting for them. Plucky tried to jump to the island, but a gate blocks him and he fell on the ground.
Plucky: Why is there a gate blocking the island?
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy tried to ram through the gate, but it didn't break. Plucky was about to give up, when suddenly, he looks up and saw something.
Plucky: Guys! Look up there!
Everyone looks up to see a giant Keyhole.
Dizzy: Why would gate have Keyhole?
Sora: I don't know. But I know what to do!
He summons his Keyblade.
Auron: Are you sure it's gonna work, kid?
Sora: It has to work.
He was about to aim at the Keyhole, when suddenly, smoke came out of the ground.
Sora: What's going on?
? 1: Don't think of running away, you twerp!
? 2: We'll stop you and have that key of yours!
Plucky: Oh no! Is that what I think it is?
Sora: I don't think so, Plucky. Their voices sounded different.
When the smoke dies down, it reveals Cassidy and Butch.
Cassidy: Prepare for trouble...
Butch: And make it double...
Cassidy: To infect the world with devastation...
Butch: To blight all people in every nation...
Cassidy: To denounce the goodness of truth and love...
Butch: To extend our wrath to the stars above...
Cassidy: Cassidy...
Butch: Butch...
Cassidy: We're Team Rocket, circling earth all day and night...
Butch: Surrender to us now, or you'll surely lose the fight!
There was silence for a few seconds. Then Plucky spoke up.
Plucky: Cassidy?
Dizzy: And Bitch?
Butch then yells in anger.
Butch: THE NAME IS BUTCH, YOU IDIOT!
Plucky: Dizzy, you really do need to work on your word pronunciations.
Cassidy: Actually, everyone gets his name wrong.
Butch: So, what do you think of our motto?
Sora: I kinda like the other motto said by those Three Stooges.
Cassidy: WHAT? Why would you like Jessie and James's motto? They are inferior to ours!
Plucky: I'm with Sora, too.
Dizzy: Me too.
Cassidy: THAT DOES IT! Nobody gets away with saying our motto is inferior!
Cassidy brought out three Pokeballs. Butch did the same.
Cassidy: Raticate, Houndour, Sableye, COME ON OUT!
She threw out her Pokeballs and out came a brown rat, a black Doberman, and a purple imp-like creature with diamond-like eyes.
Butch: Primeape, Hitmontop, Mightyena, YOU TOO!
He threw out his Pokeballs and out came a pig-monkey creature, a humanoid creature in blue clothes, and a black hyena.
Sora: Get ready, guys!
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy got in their fighting stances. But Auron stood in front of them.
Auron: I'll take care of them. You go and open the gate.
Sora points his Keyblade to the Keyhole and fires a beam at it. The Keyhole disappears, unlocking the gate. Plucky and Dizzy got on the island, while Auron is holding off Team Rocket's Pokemon. Sora was about to jump on the island, but then turns back to help Auron.
Plucky: Sora, no!
Sora joins with Auron and helps him fight off Team Rocket's Pokemon. Raticate uses Hyper Fang on Auron, while Primeape uses Karate Chop on Sora. Both warriors took some damage. Houndour uses Flamethrower on Auron, while Hitmontop uses Rolling Kick on Sora, dealing even more damage. Sableye uses Shadow Ball on Auron, while Mightyena uses Crunch on Sora, dealing even more damage. The two warriors were barely standing up after that.
Sora: Man...those Pokemon...are much...stronger than...the other...Team Rocket's Pokemon.
Cassidy: Are you ready to give up yet, twerp? We're powered by the Distortion World.
Butch: As we said before, you would surely lose the fight.
Auron: Never! We will never give up. We'll keep fighting, until the end.
Sora: That's the spirit, Auron. Let's use our Limit again.
Sora and Auron uses Bushido again. They first use Shooting Star, creating a Spin Attack around Team Rocket's Pokemon. They then use Banishing Blade, creating a bunch of fire pillars at the Pokemon, sending them flying to Butch and Cassidy. They finished them off with Spiral, creating a giant tornado, and sending Team Rocket and their Pokemon up into the air. Team Rocket was blasting off into the air.
Cassidy: NO FAIR! We have the power of the Distortion World at our side!
Butch: Now, we're blasting off like those three losers!
Cassidy & Butch: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
A star twinkles from where they were sent flying to. Sora and Auron got on the island Plucky and Dizzy were on and it sent them all back to the entrance. Meanwhile, in the lobby back at the Lily of the Valley Conference, the girls were talking to Ash.
May: Come on, Ash. Just call it a day.
Misty: She's right. You'll get your Pokemon tired.
Dawn: Just rest for old times sake.
Ash: But they all came to see me. My dream is to become a Pokemon Master. I can't let them down.
The girls sighed in worry. Ash stood up.
Ash: Don't worry, May. I'll be OK. What does a hero need rest for?
Misty: Still just as stubborn as always.
Dawn: Even I would take a break after a while.
Then they hear the crowd cheering.
Ash: That's my cue. See you all later!
As Ash walks back to the arena, May looks at the other direction.
May: Sora, please don't let us down.
Back in the Distortion World entrance, the heroes relaxed. Then Dizzy noticed something.
Dizzy: Hey, where Auron go?
Auron was nowhere to be found.
Plucky: I wonder what happened to him?
Sora: Don't worry. He'll be fine. He's a powerful warrior. Let's go find May and the others. Then we can try again.
The trio made their way to the portal that leads back to the Lily of the Valley Conference and jumps into it. Back at the Team Rocket base, Giovanni was talking to Monty about the Keyblade, while he's stroking his Persian. Jessie, James, and Meowth are next to Monty.
Giovanni: So, let me get this straight. That twerp's Keyblade works on any lock?
Monty: That's right. That's what Ansem's Report says.
Giovanni: Ansem...I remember him. Too bad he got beaten by the twerp, after he squashed Ganondorf.
Monty: I wouldn't say that, now that Lord Ganondorf's back.
Giovanni: By the way, have I ever told you about a killer stadium right here in the Distortion World? It's called the Distortion League. It makes all the other Pokemon Leagues look like preschool playgrounds by comparison.
Meowth: And dat's da place where we're gonna put an end to da twerp's winning streak and steal Pikachu.
Giovanni: But there's one problem. Arceus sealed it a long time ago.
Monty groans and there was silence for a moment. Then Giovanni spoke up.
Giovanni: All we gotta do is steal that key and then reopen the Distortion League.
Monty: I hate to tell you, but that key is very particular. It won't work on anybody. If you try to steal the Keyblade, it returns to the user. And that kid is no pushover.
Giovanni smirks.
Giovanni: I think this calls for a girl's touch.
He turns on the monitor and it reveals May. Back in the stadium's lobby with the girls, May was looking around.
Dawn: What's wrong, May?
May: I thought someone was calling me.
Misty: It must've been your imagination.
May: Yeah, you're right.
May thought to herself.
May: I could have sworn someone was calling me.
