In this chapter, Jessie, James, and Meowth will have a new member in their team. They will be part of the adventure now.
Chapter 13: Trouble in the Distortion World Part 2
As Sora arrives to the Lily of the Valley Conference from the Distortion World portal, he and his friends smiled at the scenery.
Dizzy: This remind Dizzy of Ever Grande Conference.
Sora: Yeah, we faced alot of opponents back then. We fought Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, as well as Ash, May, Mewtwo, and...Giovanni.
Plucky: Don't forget about Sephiroth.
Sora: Oh, yeah...Him, too. Come on! Let's go find May and the others.
As Sora and the gang walks up to the entrance of the stadium, the door opens and an exhausted Ash appears with two boys next to him. One was a teenage boy with tan skin, closed eyes, dark brown spiky hair, wears a green shirt, orange vest, and gray pants. The other boy was a little boy with blue hair, wears glasses, green collar shirt, and brown shorts. The older boy is Brock. The younger boy is Max. They are accompanying Ash.
Brock: Hey, Ash. You should just relax.
Max: He's right. You've been fighting for too long now.
Ash: Yeah...It's a good thing it's done for today.
Sora: Hi, Ash!
Pikachu: Pika!
Pikachu jumps off Ash's shoulder, onto Sora's arms, and licks his face, making him laugh.
Sora: Hey, Pikachu! I missed you, too.
Ash: Sora! Plucky! Dizzy! You're all back! When did you guys get here?
Plucky: It's been a while, Ash.
As Ash, Brock, and Max walks up to Sora, May was standing by the doorway.
Ash: Are you guys on another adventure?
Sora: Yeah, tracking down some friends, wiping out Heartless, and stuff like that.
Ash: Yeah, junior heroes are always busy.
Ash and Sora locked hands in a shake.
Sora: You know it!
The whole gang went through the stadium. They even have a food court, too. Dizzy looks at the food court with a lick on his face.
Sora: Relax, Dizzy. We'll eat there one day.
The gang made their way to the lobby, where Misty and Dawn are waiting. Ash was asking Sora about how his adventure went.
Ash: Did you find your friends yet?
Sora: Nope. I'm still looking for them. When we got here, we met up with May and her friends. They were about to get into trouble, but we helped them out. We tried to teach Giovanni a lesson or two, but the Distortion World drains all of our energy.
Ash: Well, they did say the Distortion World is cursed.
The gang stood there for a few seconds, thinking. Then Ash got an idea.
Ash: I got it! There's a special orb that guards people from the Distortion World's curse. It was created by Arceus to protect people, whenever they go to the Distortion World.
Sora: Maybe we can borrow it?
Ash: Sure thing, Sora. I'll get it for you.
Dizzy: Thanks! You too kind, Ash.
Ash: I have to warn you. Giovanni is no pushover, even if you got the Griseous Orb. And I got a match today, so I can't come with you...But why not go and do some training? Why don't you go ask Prof. Oak in the arena to train you?
Sora: Great idea, Ash!
As Ash went off to get the Griseous Orb, Brock and Max took Sora to the arena. There, they saw four people. One person was an old man in his 60s with gray hair, wearing a white lab coat with a red shirt under it, and light brown pants. The other person is a young woman with long blonde hair, wears a black coat with a black shirt under it, and black pants. Two are boys around the same age as Ash. One boy has red spiky hair, wears a black shirt, and purple pants. The other boy has purple hair, wears a blue jacket with black sleeves, and black pants. Brock walks up to the woman, all lovestruck, and held onto her hands.
Brock: Hello, Cynthia! It's so nice to meet you again. You may be champion of the Sinnoh Region, but you're always a champion for my heart.
Suddenly, Brock got struck from behind. Behind him was a blue toad-like Pokemon with it's paw glowing purple. The Pokemon pulls Brock away from Cynthia. Max giggles.
Max: Looks like Brock won't need me anymore, now that Croagunk is doing all the work.
Sora walks up to the old man named Prof. Oak. He was busy setting up props for Ash's next training.
Oak: Hey, kid. Are you feeling better? You better rest up, before tomorrow's match. Nobody wants to see an exhausted Pokemon Master...OK? Remember what I told you. There are three things you must do to win: Eat, bathe, and sleep.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy just smirks and laughs.
Oak: What is so...
He turns around to see Sora and his friends and recognizes them at once.
Oak: Well, if it isn't the junior heroes.
Sora: Looking good, Professor.
The two boys walked up to Prof. Oak talking to Sora.
Boy 1: Gramps, do you know these people?
Oak: Of course I have. I've met them last year at the Ever Grande Conference.
Sora: Who are you two?
Boy 1: My name is Gary Oak. I'm the grandson of Prof. Oak.
Boy 2: My name is Paul. I aim to become the greatest Pokemon Trainer.
Sora: Wow! Just like Ash?
Gary: You guys know Ash?
Sora: Of course we have. Do you?
Gary: I used to be rivals with him, until he beat me in the Johto League.
Paul: I'm still rivals with him throughout Sinnoh. He still has a long way to go, before becoming Pokemon Master.
Cynthia walks up to the group. Dizzy was blushing around her.
Cynthia: Hello. You seemed to be new around here.
Sora: Who are you?
Cynthia: My name is Cynthia. I'm the champion of the Sinnoh Region.
Sora: Nice to meet you. I'm Sora.
Plucky: I'm Plucky Duck.
Dizzy walks up to Cynthia.
Dizzy:(Blushing)Me Dizzy Devil.
Cynthia: Well, aren't you a cute little creature.
She pets Dizzy on the head. Oak looks back at Sora.
Oak: Anyway, how have you been? Have you earned your "true hero" wings yet?
Sora and Plucky just stood there, thinking.
Oak: I take that as a no.
Sora & Plucky: WHAT?
Oak: So, what are you doing?
Sora: We came to put an end to Giovanni's reign of terror.
Oak:(Laughs)You wanna defeat Giovanni?
Plucky: What's so funny?
Oak: I thought you defeated him last time. But since he's back, I see you got guts. I like that. OK, it's time to do some training! Sora, see those jars I set up? Destroy them and collect about 20 orbs within 90 seconds! That would be the practice! Think you're up to the task?
Sora: No problem!
Prof. Oak starts the timer, then Sora starts smashing the jars. He collects 20 orbs with only 70 seconds left.
Sora: How was that, Professor?
Oak: Not bad, kid. But now's the real deal. You have to collect 100 orbs within 90 seconds.
Sora: Piece of cake!
Plucky: The cake is a lie!
Everyone just looks at Plucky weird.
Plucky: I just gotta make that reference again.
Prof. Oak sets up the timer again. Sora starts smashing the jars again. He even smashed the larger ones, which contains bigger orbs. He collects 100 orbs with only 50 seconds left. Prof. Oak was talking to Plucky, Dizzy, and Cynthia, while Sora was talking to Gary and Paul. He then turns to see Ash enter the arena.
Oak: Listen. Me and Cynthia gotta go somewhere.
Sora: Where to?
Oak: That's none of your business.
He and Cynthia walks off to discuss something. Ash turns to Sora with a sad face.
Ash: I'm sorry, guys. But the Griseous Orb is stolen.
Sora, Plucky, & Dizzy: WHAT? By who?
Ash: We don't know yet. All we know is there is a man in a black-hooded cloak. And he had those white creatures with him.
The trio looks at each other and nods.
Sora: Organization XIII!
Dizzy: And Nobodies!
Ash: You know them?
Sora: It's a long story. How about if we get the orb back, we can borrow it for a while.
Ash: Sure. I don't see why not.
?: ASH!
Everyone turns to see Misty and Dawn run up to them.
Ash: Misty, Dawn, what is it?
Misty: It was terrible! May went missing!
Ash: WHAT?
Dawn: We were walking around and then May disappears.
Ash turns to Sora and his friends.
Ash: Have you three seen May around?
The trio shook there heads no.
Sora: Sorry, we haven't.
?: But I do.
Everyone turns to see Giovanni.
Everyone: GIOVANNI!
Giovanni: What's the matter, young Pokemon Master? You're still in perfect shape since the last time we met.
Sora: Giovanni, we gotta talk!
Giovanni: Sorry, key twerp. But this is between me and Ash Ketchum. If you don't mind, I got some mildly interesting news.
Ash was about to pull out a Pokeball, but then Giovanni continues talking.
Giovanni: Seems like your little sweet May went and got herself lost in the Distortion World.
Ash: You mean you kidnapped her?
Giovanni: Maybe. But who cares about the little details?
Ash threw the same Pokeball he was holding and out came an orange dragon with wings and a flame on it's tail. The Pokemon is called Charizard. Ash was about to go on Charizard, when Giovanni spoke up.
Giovanni: Hold it! I wouldn't go anywhere if I were you. You got a very important match against the bloodthirsty Giratina.
Sora: Giratina?
Giovanni: It's the ruler of the Distortion World. Ash has to battle it. If he doesn't, "accidents" might happen.
Sora: Yeah, accidents you caused!
Giovanni: Like I said: who needs details?
Ash, Pikachu, and Charizard glares at him in anger.
Ash: You're just a coward!
Pikachu:(Angry)Pika! Pika!
Giovanni: Well, not all of us can be heroes.
Suddenly, smoke came around and Giovanni laughs. When the smoke dies down, he was nowhere to be found. Sora walks up to Ash.
Ash: Sora, can you help rescue May?
Plucky: You bet! We're heroes!
Dizzy: Junior heroes, Plucky.
Plucky:(Sweatdrops)Why do we have to be junior heroes? We saved the worlds from Ansem.
Sora: Don't worry about him. You'll handle Giratina. We'll handle the rest.
Ash: I'm counting on you.
Charizard walks up to Ash.
Ash: Pikachu, Charizard, you go help Sora and his friends find May.
Pikachu: Pika!
Charizard nods. Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, Pikachu, and Charizard all left the stadium and returns to the Distortion World portal. When they returned to the Distortion World, they saw Prof. Oak and Cynthia on the ground.
Sora: PROFESSOR! CYNTHIA!
The gang ran up to them. Prof. Oak and Cynthia stood back up.
Sora: Are you two OK? What happened?
Oak: We're fine, but we spotted a man all dressed in black.
Cynthia: We tried to chase him, but he noticed us. He even defeated me.
Plucky: All dressed in black?
Sora: He must be part of the Organization. And I'll bet he stole the Griseous Orb.
Dizzy: Where he go?
Oak: He ran to that island.
They all looked at the island Prof. Oak was pointing at.
Oak: He's a bad apple alright. And I needed a backup hero to do this, so Ash could take a break.
Sora: Heroes? You could've just asked!
Oak: You know someone?
Sora shows off his Keyblade.
Oak: Oh, good one.
Cynthia: Good luck, you guys.
Sora and the gang went on a small island, which moves them to another big island. Meanwhile, back in the arena, Ash was battling a giant gray dragon. It has red and black stripes on it's belly, some golden curved spikes in front of it's belly, a golden helmet, black wings with red spikes on the end, and six legs. The Pokemon was the Legendary Pokemon, Giratina. Ash pulls out three Pokeballs.
Ash: Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor, I CHOOSE YOU!
Out of Ash's Pokeballs are a golden owl with orange wings, a blue bird with a red face and white stomach, and a huge black eagle with a red feather in front of it's head. The owl is Noctowl, the blue bird is Swellow, and the eagle is Staraptor. Noctowl uses Psychic, making her eyes glow red, and holds Giratina down in a blue aura surrounding it. Swellow and Staraptor both used Brave Bird, covering themselves in blue flames, and hitting Giratina. Giratina fell to the ground. The audience cheers and chants Ash's name.
Ash: Thank you all! I hope you enjoyed it!
Ash returns his Pokemon to their Pokeballs and ran off to find May. Back in the Distortion World, Sora and the gang arrives at the island all covered in fog. Inside this foggy island, they encountered a new type of Heartless called Trick Ghosts. They are green ghost-like Heartless carrying candles. They shot fireballs at the gang, but they dodged the fireballs. They quickly finished off the Heartless and Sora works out a kink in his shoulder.
Sora: Man, this curse. It's really getting into me.
Dizzy: We gotta get Griseous Orb back.
The gang made their way through the foggy canyon, fighting Heartless along the way. They made their way to the end of the canyon, where they saw a black-hooded figure looking at a cave. When the figure hears footsteps, he turns around to see Sora and the gang.
No. IX: Huh? You?
He removes his hood to reveal a young man in short blonde hair. He wags his finger at Sora.
No. IX: Are you...Roxas?
Sora: Excuse me?
No. IX: That's right! Remember me, Roxas? It's me, Demyx!
Sora: Listen, I don't know what you're talking about. But I am not Roxas. I am Sora.
Demyx: Roxas? What are you saying? Oh, it's no use.
Sora: Huh? What are you talking about?
Demyx pulls out a card and reads it.
Demyx: Let's see. "If the subject fails to respond, use aggression to liberate his true disposition." Right. Did they pick the wrong guy for the job. Get ready, Roxas! I'm going to free you as much as I can!
Sora: You're bizarre...And I told you. My name is Sora!
Demyx pulls out a yellow diamond-shaped jewel from his pocket, which caused the others to gasp.
Dizzy: He must be thief!
Demyx: Now, that's just plain rude!
He raised the jewel up in the air.
Demyx: OK, Griseous Orb! Break the curse on me!
The jewel glows with light. When it dies down, Demyx puts in back in his pocket, pulls out a huge blue guitar-like weapon, and starts playing.
Demyx: Dance, water, dance!
All of a sudden, 20 water familiars appeared.
Demyx: If you destroy my water familiars, before time runs out, you win. If time runs out, I win.
The gang took on the water familiars. Sora uses his Keyblade to take out some familiars, Plucky uses Thunder to take out some more familiars, Dizzy uses Spin Attack to take out even more familiars, Pikachu uses Thunderbolt to zap the familiars, Charizard uses Flamethrower to burn the rest of the familiars. They defeated all the familiars, before the time ran out.
Plucky: Those are alot trickier than I thought.
Dizzy: At least we won.
Sora: Now, it's your turn!
Demyx: Sorry, but we can't fight now. I got an important meeting with our boss. Roxas, please come back to us.
He disappears through the dark portal.
Sora: That guy's a broken record. I'm not Roxas. Everyone knows I'm Sora.
Plucky: Hey, look! There's a jewel and an Ansem Report.
He picks up the jewel and Ansem Report and gave them to Sora.
Sora: This must be the Griseous Orb.
He raised it in the air and the same light appears, surrounding the gang. When it dies down, the gang felt stronger.
Dizzy: Dizzy don't feel curse anymore. We strong again.
Plucky: Now, we can use the Valor Form and Summons again.
Sora: Let's go! We have to rescue May!
The gang enters the cave, where they saw a huge rock with a picture of May on it and a Keyhole in it.
Sora: May must be in here. I'll use the Keyblade to unlock the Keyhole.
He points his Keyblade at the Keyhole and fires a beam at it to unlock it. The rock glows a bright light, until it disappears. In it's place is a pillar of light.
Sora: Hold on, May. We're almost there.
The gang enters the beam of light and went into a blue cave, where they found May and Skitty tied up in a rope and Giovanni standing by them. Giovanni smirks to see the heroes.
Giovanni: Now, that's what I call a key. Thanks for your help! Have a nice day.
Plucky: What are you talking about?
A smoke came around Giovanni and he disappears. Sora and the gang ran up to May and Skitty.
Sora: May, Skitty, are you alright?
Pikachu: Pikapika!
May: Sora, behind you!
Skitty: NYA!
When the smoke dies down, everyone could hear laughter from behind. They turned around to see Monty and the Team Rocket trio.
Jessie: Prepare for trouble, we're getting help from the Heartless...
James: And make it double, we'll send you back into darkness...
Monty: To protect the world from devastation...
James: To unite all people within our nation...
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love...
Monty: To extend our reach to the stars above...
Jessie: Jessie...
James: James...
Monty: Montana Max, now that's a name...
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light...
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight...
Monty: And we'll make sure this will be your last night!
Meowth: Meowth, dat's right!
A little light blue Pokemon with it's eyes shut also appears, holding it's hand up.
Pokemon: Wobbuffet!
A little pink Pokemon wearing a blue hat also appears, mimicking Wobbuffet.
Pokemon: Mime! Mime!
Plucky: Monty? What are you doing with Team Rocket?
Monty: I'm now part of Team Rocket!
Dizzy: So, Monty is now the fourth stooge?
Monty: HEY, WATCH IT, YOU BARBARIAN!
Meowth: What's da matter, twerps? Can't fight in da Distortion World? Oh, boo hoo!
Sora: Don't be so sure. You might wanna think again.
Meowth: We'll see about dat, twerp! You may have beaten us in da past, but der's no way you can beat us again!
Sora: We'll see about that, furball!
Plucky and Dizzy laughs, while Meowth fumes with anger.
Meowth: YOU WILL PAY FOR DAT INSULT, TWERP!
Jessie and James pulls out two Pokeballs each.
Jessie: Seviper, Yanmega, COME ON OUT!
She released a black snake with yellow diamonds on it's back and a red blade on it's tail and a green dragonfly with red eyes.
James: Cacnea, Carnivine, YOU TOO!
He released a light green cactus shaped like a ball with two spiky arms and a crown and a light green flytrap plant with leaf-like arms. All of a sudden, the flytrap Pokemon turns to James and tried to devour him.
James: OW! Don't try to eat me!
Monty: I better call for reinforcements, too!
He pulls out his whistle and blows on it. Suddenly, more Heartless appeared.
Monty: Heartless, ATTACK!
Sora uses the Samurai Charm to release the Samurai Pizza Cats. Speedy uses his shurikens, Guido uses his kunai, and Polly uses her heart-shaped shurikens. They took care of the Heartless. Sora and the gang took care of Team Rocket, while trying to protect May and Skitty. Sora and Plucky uses Fire and Blizzard on Seviper, Dizzy uses his Headbutt on Cacnea, Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on Yanmega, and Charizard uses Flamethrower on Carnivine. Suddenly, more Heartless appeared, backing our heroes in a corner.
Sora: There's too many Heartless!
Plucky: Let's get outta here!
Sora cuts the ropes on May and Skitty, freeing them. Before the Heartless could attack, a Flamethrower and Razor Leaf knocks them back to Monty and Team Rocket. Everyone turns to see Ash with his two Pokemon. One of them is a blue and yellow badger with a flaming mohawk and fire on it's rear. The other is a yellowish-green sauropod with a leaf on it's head and a leaf-like necklace. Sora recognizes the two Pokemon.
Sora: Ash! I see that your Cyndaquil and Chikorita has evolved.
Ash: Yep. They evolved when I was training for the Lily of the Valley Conference. They are now Quilava and Bayleef.
He ran up to the group.
Ash: Sorry I'm late. Charizard, take May back to the Lily of the Valley Conference. I'll meet you there.
He picks May up and puts her on Charizard. Skitty jumps on Charizard's back.
Sora: What about you?
Ash: I'll show those creeps what happens, when they mess with a Pokemon Trainer like me.
Dizzy: OK. Be careful, Ash.
Charizard took May and Skitty out of the room. Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy follows them.
Monty: No! Stop right there!
Monty and Team Rocket tried to stop them, but Ash, Pikachu, Quilava, and Bayleef stood in their way.
Ash: You'll have to go through me first!
Monty: Fine with me!
He pulls out a remote control with a red button and pressed it. A giant blue robot appears and Monty pilots it. Back outside the pillar of light, Misty, Dawn, Brock, and Max are waiting for their friends to return. They saw Sora and the gang return with May.
Dawn: May, I'm so glad you're OK!
May: Yeah, but Ash is fighting Team Rocket by himself.
Dizzy: We gotta leave!
May: No, I will not leave Ash behind!
Plucky: Don't worry. He'll be OK.
May: Look. Ash's Pokemon may be strong, but even they have their limits. He can't win every battle.
Sora: I see your point. We'll go back to him. You go back to the Conference with your friends.
May got off of Charizard and ran with her friends back to the Lily of the Valley Conference. Back in the blue cave, Ash and his Pokemon are tired from fighting Monty's robot, Team Rocket, and the Heartless. Suddenly, Sora and the gang returns to help Ash. Charizard returns to Ash's side
Sora: Don't worry, Ash. We came to help you.
Plucky uses Cure to heal Ash's Pokemon. His Pokemon are up and ready to fight.
Monty: Fine by me. I'll cast a shield around my robot.
He creates a round blue shield around his robot.
Monty: With this shield, I'll become invincible.
Plucky: We'll see about that.
The Samurai Pizza Cats will deal with the Heartless, Ash and his Pokemon will deal with Team Rocket, and Sora and his friends will deal with Monty's robot. Speedy throws some fireballs, burning some Heartless, Guido throws his umbrella, knocking out some Heartless, and Polly throws an energy boomerang, taking out some Heartless. Back with Ash's Pokemon against Team Rocket's Pokemon, Seviper uses Poison Tail, making his tail glow, and hits Charizard. Cacnea uses Needle Arm, making his arm glow, and hits Charizard. Yanmega uses Ancient Power, creating a white energy ball, and hits Quilava. Carnivine uses Razor Leaf, releasing a bunch of sharp leaves from his body, and hits Bayleef. Pikachu uses Iron Tail, making his tail turn into metal, and clashed with Meowth, who uses Fury Swipes, making his claws grow longer.
Ash's Pokemon made a counterattack against Team Rocket's Pokemon. Charizard uses Dragon Claw, making his claws glow green, and slashed at Seviper and Cacnea, Quilava uses Flame Wheel, spinning his body, and covering himself in flames, hitting Yanmega. Bayleef uses Vine Whip, releasing a green whip from her body, and hits Carnivine. Pikachu's Iron Tail breaks through Meowth's Fury Swipes, knocking him back to Team Rocket. Meanwhile, Monty's robot is battling with Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy. Monty fires an eye beam from his robot's eyes. Sora and Dizzy dodged the beam, but it zaps Plucky. Monty then fires two fists from his robot's arms like rockets. The rocket fists hits Sora and Dizzy. The trio made a counterattack against Monty's robot. Plucky uses Thunder on Monty's robot, but it was protected by the shield. Dizzy uses Spin Attack, doing some damage to the shield. Sora keeps slashing his Keyblade at the shield, until it finally cracks.
Monty: Uh-oh!
Sora: Now's our chance, Ash!
Ash: Right! Charizard, use Flare Blitz!
Sora tossed Monty's robot at Charizard. Charizard uses Flare Blitz, coving his body in flames, and hits Monty's robot. Monty's robot got destroyed and Monty flew back to Team Rocket.
Monty: OW! No fair! That was a really expensive robot!
Meowth: Da twerps are beating us again!
Jessie: Now, all we have left is Wobbuffet and Mime Jr.!
James You two know what to do!
Wobbuffet and Mime Jr. stood in front of Monty and Team Rocket.
Ash: Pikachu, use Thunder!
Pikachu uses Thunder, summoning a lighting bolt from the sky, and zaps Monty and Team Rocket. An explosion came around them, blasting them out of the cave, and into the sky.
Jessie: No fair! We were fighting in the Distortion World!
James: I guess it didn't help us defeat the twerps.
Meowth: Don't worry, guys. We'll get them next time. Remember, we'll play a bigger role in dis sequel.
Monty: Why am I blasting off in the sky? I demand a million dollar compensation!
Wobbuffet: Wobba!
Monty & Team Rocket: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Mime Jr.: Mime! Mime!
A star twinkles from where they were sent flying to.
Plucky: We did it!
Suddenly, the walls began to rumble.
Sora: What's going on?
Ash: The cave will collapse soon! Let's get outta here!
He returns Quilava and Bayleef to their Pokeballs. Everyone returns to the pillar of light and left the room. Giovanni was still inside, very pleased of himself.
Giovanni: Could today get even better? Today, that twerp is going down for good.
Meanwhile, everyone is riding on Charizard, as he flew them back to the Distortion World entrance.
Dizzy: That close one!
?: Well, if it isn't everyone's favorite Pokemon Hero washout.
Everyone turns to see Giovanni coming to them.
Giovanni: You really blew it this time.
Sora: No one likes a sore loser, Giovanni.
Giovanni: SHUT UP, KEY TWERP!
Ash: Let me do it. No one likes a sore loser, Giovanni.
Giovanni: Call me all you want. It won't do you any good. Anyway, remember Giratina? The Legendary Pokemon you didn't finish off? Well, it seems everything is falling apart at the Lily of the Valley Conference.
A smoke came around Giovanni and he disappears again, laughing.
Sora: WAIT!
