Song Of Past and Future: Interview/Ask Blog
This chapter opens with a dim-lit room as three Trolls entered the room. The first of them was Eddy, a Rock Troll with grey skin, and a Black mullet, his chest was bare and he wore black leather pants, carrying a sword on his back fashioned from an old Guitar neck.
The second was Twiggy, a dark green Pop Troll with darker hair, wearing goggles that covered her eyes, she had a crossbow slung over her back and wore a green dress, lined with armor made for Tree bark.
The Third was a Jesse, a Country troll with a simple brown haircut, wearing a denim outfit and a cowboy hat, he had two holsters on his side where his revolvers sat and a red bandana wrapped around his neck.
Eddy looked around asking why they were doing this, their story was small and didn't even have that big a following as he and Twiggy sat in their chairs. Jesse tried to squeeze in but kicked the chair aside, standing as they were at a table.
"It's called an 'Ask Blog' to introduce yourselves to the readers of your story," a voice answered from across the table said as Eddy looked at the figure, cracking open a can and drinking the liquid from it, asking where they should start.
"Let's start with Introductions, Eddy, you're the leader of the group why don't you go first," the Figure proposed as Eddy finished the drink, crumpling the can on his forehead, tossing it behind him.
"Okay, Introductions... Let's see. My name is Eddy, leader of the Rock Rebellion from the story 'A song of Past and Future' which is a time travel story about Me and Twiggy chasing an evil villain into the past, while there we've met the respective leaders of the Pop and Rock Tribes" Eddy explained.
"Speaking of which, why was I killed off so early in the story," Jesse asked, taking a bite from an apple as the figure looked at him, saying that Jesse was killed off so early to show the serious threat of Lord Deyo.
"Either way it is Eddy's turn to speak... Go on Eddy," the figure stated as Eddy laid back on his chair, saying that so far he and his Friends formed an army and stormed Deyo's Cathedral, leading to an awesome fight scene.
"We practiced for days to coordinate that fight to get it just right, leading to a lot of mistakes, like this little scene," Eddy teased, showing a bit from the story.
Deyo was sitting on his fountain as he looked at Eddy
"You know the doors weren't locked, or do you just enjoy destroying my property," Deyo asked giving a glare at Eddy as the Rock Troll charged holding his sword overhead, ready to split his head. he swung down the sword which hit Deyo in his head as the demonic creature winced.
"Ow, watch it you Dick," Deyo called out, dropping his demonic tone as he rubbed his head as Eddy checked his head, bruised from the prop sword.
"It's not my fault Deyo forgot to dodge, but he's lucky this thing isn't sharp," Eddy defended as the trio laughed.
"Anyways after landing in the past I Use Twiggy's tips and Tame a Backhog and have a collision with Queen Barb, some vulgar words were said" Eddy explained as Jesse laughed, saying the look on Barb's face was priceless when he cursed her out.
"That's actually her fault, she added the 'Dick' to the end of her line. my original line was 'ME, You hit me, ya Dumb Chick' She was not expecting me to drop the B-word. The figure looked at Eddy asking how it was hanging out with Queen Barb as Eddy shrugged, saying they barely shared any dialogue but was eager to see where it went.
"Twiggy, let's talk about your experience, you began taming creatures from a young age, care to elaborate on that," the figure asked as she smiled, mentioning that she grew up reading scrapbooks that Branch had written on nature survival, including taming beasts and growing food.
"It seems like Branch had a big role in you growing up, what was it like working with him as well as Poppy," the figure asked as Twiggy rubbed her shoulder, saying they were what she expected, Branch was prepared and borderline paranoid and lacking social cues.
"Actually, I was supposed to be caught by the cage but I thought that I could be caught in the rope trap than escape to be caged, showing my skills" Twiggy informed as the trio nodded
"Poppy was nice too, a little too much but I can see why the Trolls like her, she seems like an upbeat Queen and I look forward to meeting to Rest of the Tribe," Twiggy added as the figure nodded, looking forward to the next part.
"Ok Jesse, this one's for you, tell us about yourself," The figure asked as Jesse lit a cigarette.
"Well, I wanted to develop my character before being killed off. I can tell you I have a sister named Jamie, who might appear in the future, might not. we don't know where the story is going, I enjoy playing cards, I'm a guitarist and piano player" he informed
"Do not play cards with this guy, I swear he cheats?" Eddy claimed as Jesse just rebutted, saying he could read Eddy easily
"How did you feel getting Killed off so early in the story," The figure asked as Jesse pulled the cigarette from his mouth, saying he understood why it was done. The main story focuses on the Rock and Pop Trolls and having all three of them go back might make things confusing.
"But What would you say about the handling of your death," The figure asked as Jesse looked up, saying it was handled well, the others did not mourn too long and they paid respects to his corpse, that was all he could ask for, Jesse answered as the Figure nodded.
"So what do you three think of the story so far, specifically the worldbuilding?" The figure asked as Eddy sighed.
"Well, I feel the future was underdeveloped, I get the point was to start with a cold open and if we're doing Time Travel then we could go back before the big battle and expand on the future more so" Eddy explained as Twiggy nodded.
"I'm actually wanting to see more of King Greatmane, I felt the tension between him and Eddy and the readers probably have little idea why, yes it was explained that he sold the Rock Trolls out to Deyo but seeing it really set his acts in stone," Twiggy said as Eddy nodded.
"That and he's a terrible King, have you seen his outfit, all those bright neon colors and glitter, I get sick just looking at him," Eddy replied.
The figure turned around.
"Well, This was our first interview with the cast of 'A Song of Past and Future', a little non-canon event that takes place between the chapters of the story, where the characters will talk about events of the story and answer your questions," The Figure said as Eddy looked at him.
"Just the three of us?" Eddy asked as the figure shook his head, saying next time they get Poppy, Branch, and Brab to ask their opinions on the story and the new Trolls who have landed in their world as the three looked at each other.
"So, will they be joining us or are you interviewing them separately," Eddy asked as Jesse looked at them, saying he hoped he could meet them, even if it was in a non-canon interview, considering his character was killed as the figure looked at him.
"Sadly I Can not answer that, but to those tuning in, feel free to leave your questions in the review section and the cast will answer them on the next chapter of 'A Song of past and Future' where Poppy, Branch, and Barb join us," He said.
