Today, we will be doing a tournament back in the Distortion World. Like the previous Tiny Toondom Hearts, I will be bringing in characters from other worlds. This tournament for example will bring in Sailor Moon and Yu Yu Hakusho characters.
Chapter 17: Double Trouble at the Jessie & James Cup
Sora and the gang returns to the Distortion World entrance.
Dizzy: The coast is clear!
Sora: So far, no sign of the Heartless and Nobodies...for now.
The trio walks around the entrance to notice a Colosseum in the distance.
Plucky: What's that? That Colosseum looks very sinister.
?: It's called the Distortion League.
The trio turns to see Auron walking towards them.
Auron: Many tyrants of the Pokemon World once clashed there, battle after battle. But Arceus didn't like the senseless violence, so he sealed it in the Distortion World.
Sora: How did it get unlocked?
Auron: Someone must have broken the seal.
Plucky: What an idiot.
Auron starts walking away.
Sora: Where are you going, Auron?
Auron: If you need something to do, go help your friends.
Sora looks at the portal to the Lily of the Valley Conference, then looks back at Auron, only to see him disappear.
Sora: So, how do we enter the tournament?
?: You'll have to talk to us.
Everyone turns to see a familiar duo. It was Cassidy and Butch.
Sora: Cassidy and Biff!
Butch once again yells in anger.
Butch: THE NAME IS BUTCH!
Cassidy: Anyway, if you wanna enter the tournament, just talk to us.
Butch: The Boss is feeling nice today, so don't worry about dying or anything. You should consider yourselves lucky.
Cassidy: If you win, you'll get lots of fabulous prizes.
Butch: There are alot of tournaments, so check back often.
Cassidy: It's a great way to spend some time.
Sora: First, we like to see how Ash and the others are doing?
Butch: Fine. But you better hurry up, before the tournament starts.
The trio walks around the entrance to find some familiar friends. They saw four creatures. One is a young girl with light yellow skin and long ponytail, wears a half pink and half green shirt with an egg-crack look in the middle, and orange feet. One is a boy with orange skin, orange and green mushroom cut hair covering his eyes, blue pants without a shirt, and green feet. One is a pink, round creature with oval eyes, red cheeks, small pudgy arms, and red feet. The last one is a fairy-like creature with pink hair, wears a red bow on her head, a red dress, and red shoes. Sora recognizes the first three creatures as Tiff, Tuff, and Kirby, but never met the fairy.
Sora: Hey, look! It's Tiff, Tuff, and Kirby!
The trio ran up to Kirby's gang.
Sora: Hey, guys! Long time no see!
Tiff: Hi, Sora!
Kirby danced around Dizzy.
Kirby: Hi, Dizzy!
Dizzy: Hi, Kirby!
Sora: So, what are you guys been up to lately.
Tuff: We have been through alot of adventures in Dreamland and other worlds.
Tiff: We helped save Dreamland from bad guys like Dark Matter, Marx, and Zero.
Sora: How are Kirby and King Dedede doing?
Tuff: They are doing great. King Dedede sometimes helps out, when he's not possessed by Dark Matter.
Sora: Dark Matter?
Tiff: It's an evil black creature that can possess other people to do bad things. That's the creature that possessed daddy, when you first came to Dreamland.
Plucky: That sounds scary.
Sora looks at the fairy that Kirby and his friends brought with them.
Sora: Who's the fairy?
Tiff: That's Ribbon. She came to Dreamland with a giant crystal.
Ribbon: Hello. I'm Ribbon. Nice to meet you.
Sora: I'm Sora.
Plucky: I'm Plucky Duck.
Dizzy: Me Dizzy Devil.
Kirby ran up to Ribbon. The two of them blushed at each other.
Sora: What's going on between the two?
Tuff: It seems like Kirby's in love.
Tiff: Kirby and Ribbon really seemed to like each other. It's so cute.
Kirby and Ribbon both blushed harder from that comment. Sora giggles.
Sora: So, are you guys entering the tournament?
Tuff: Nope. We're here to watch the tournament.
Tiff: We'll be staying here for awhile to watch the tournaments.
Sora: That's great. Well, see you guys later.
He waves to Kirby and his friends and went off to find Ash and his friends. Suddenly, Pikachu ran up to Sora, jumps into his arms, and licks his face.
Sora: Hey, Pikachu! I missed you, too.
Plucky: If Pikachu's here, that means.
Everyone turns to see Ash and his friends. Ash is still feeling depressed after what happened at the Lily of the Valley Conference.
Sora: Hey, Ash!
Ash: Hi.
Plucky: What's the matter?
May: He's still feeling a bit depressed.
Sora: So, what are you guys doing?
Dawn: We plan on entering the tournaments in the Distortion World.
Misty: Me, Ash, and Brock will participate in the first tournament.
Brock: I'll be teaming up with Misty, while Ash will be competing by himself.
Plucky: Maybe a tournament will cheer Ash up.
Ash: OK. I guess I'll be entering the tournament.
Sora: That's great. I can't wait to see you there.
?: Don't forget about us.
Everyone turns to see Leon, Aerith, and Yuffie. Brock ran up to Aerith and grabs her hands, making Dizzy fume with anger.
Brock: Hello, Aerith! Did I mention you are the prettiest girl I ever met? How about we go on a date after the tournament?
Suddenly, Brock got struck from behind by Croagunk again. Croagunk drags Brock away from her, making Misty and Max giggle.
Sora: So, who will be participating.
Yuffie: It'll be me and Leon again.
Aerith: I'll just be cheering for them.
Leon: You may have beaten me twice before. But this time, I won't go easy on you.
Sora: Me neither. Let's both give it our best shots.
After talking to everyone else, Sora, Ash, and the rest of the gang went up to Cassidy and Butch. Ash and his friends were very suspicious about this.
Ash: Team Rocket's running the tournament?
Cassidy: That's right, twerp. We're running the tournaments in this world.
Butch: But we won't be stealing any Pokemon for now.
May: Well, that's a relief.
Cassidy: So, who will be entering the tournament.
Brock: Me, Ash, and Misty will be entering this tournament.
Misty: I will be teaming up with Brock.
Dawn: I'll be fighting in the next tournament.
May: I won't be entering for a while.
Sora: Sign me, Plucky, and Dizzy up.
Butch: Very well. We'll sign you three twerps up.
Cassidy: In this series of tournaments, you can use your Drive Forms, Limits, and Summons.
Sora: Really? In the last series of tournaments, we can't use Summons with a few exceptions.
Butch: This is a very different tournament than the one ran by that twerpy Professor.
Plucky: Alright! That means we can get all the help we need!
Cassidy: The tournament will start in a few minutes. You twerps better get on the island that will take you to the Distortion League.
Sora, Ash, and the rest of the gang went on a small floating island that takes them to the Distortion League. The first tournament is the Jessie & James Cup. Sora's gang enters the arena to see that it looks like a Roman Amphitheater. Auron walks up next to Sora's gang.
Sora: Auron? What are you doing here?
Auron: I signed up for the tournament. I guess I will be teaming up with you.
The referee is a Rocket Grunt wearing a black hat, black suit with a red letter R on it, black pants, and white gloves and boots. On the other side of the arena is Team Urameshi. The team consisted of Yusuke, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Kurama.
Sora: Yusuke? Are you participating in this tournament?
Yusuke: That's right. Are you surprised to see us?
Plucky: So, it's just you four?
Hiei: Not quite. Keiko and Botan came to watch, too.
Sora: Where are they?
Kurama: They're right over there.
Everyone looks up to where Kurama was pointing. They saw Keiko and Botan cheering on Team Urameshi.
Keiko: Come on, Yusuke!
Botan: You can do it!
Sora: This should be an interesting fight.
Yusuke: We may have saved the Demon World and Spirit World before, but don't think that I'll go easy on you.
Sora: Me neither. I'll give it everything I got.
Referee: Let the battle begin!
The battle starts with Sora battling Yusuke. Yusuke uses the Spirit Punch, but Sora blocks it. Sora proceeds to slash Yusuke in the stomach, doing some damage. Auron and Hiei are clashing swords. Hiei then use Fist of the Mortal Flame, but Auron blocks it and slashed Hiei aside. Kuwabara uses the Double Spirit Sword on Dizzy, doing some damage to him, but Dizzy counters with his Spin Attack, doing alot of damage to Kuwabara. Kurama uses his Rose Whip on Plucky, doing some damage to him, but Plucky counters with Fire and Blizzard, doing alot of damage to Kurama.
Kurama: Man, you're really powerful.
Plucky: Yeah, so are you.
Kurama: This time, I will not hold back.
Kurama starts to transform. He now has white long hair, has fox ears and tail, and wears a white gi. He has transformed into his Demon Form.
Plucky:(Whimpers)I have a bad feeling about this.
Kurama summons an Ojigi Plant. It is a giant purple carnivorous flower. It grabs Plucky and tried to eat him. However, the plant starts burning up from inside. It caught on fire and released Plucky. Kurama was shocked.
Kurama: WHAT? How did you survive that attack?
Plucky: I used Fire as soon as it swallows me.
Kurama: That's very clever, Plucky. I guess I'll have to kick things up a notch.
Kurama summons a Bloodsucking Plant. It is a purple flower with vines that can drink blood. It grabs Plucky and tried to absorb his blood, but Plucky uses Blizzard to freeze the plant and frees himself.
Plucky: Nice try! But it's gonna take more than man-eating plants to defeat me.
Plucky uses Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder on Kurama. All attacks hit Kurama, reverting him back to his normal form. Plucky joins Dizzy, who was fighting Kuwabara. Kuwabara uses his Spirit Sword Shard at Dizzy, but he blocks it with his Spin Attack. Plucky uses Thunder, shocking Kuwabara. Dizzy proceeds to punch and kick Kuwabara repeatedly, until he got knocked out.
Plucky: Two down. Two to go.
Dizzy: Let Sora and Auron take care of Yusuke and Hiei.
Sora and Auron are still battling Yusuke and Hiei. Yusuke uses the Spirit Kick on Sora, doing some damage to him. Hiei uses the Sword of the Darkness Flame on Auron, also doing some damage to him. Both Sora and Auron are still standing.
Sora: Man, you two are really powerful.
Yusuke: So are you. But now, it's time to end this.
Hiei: Time to combine our ultimate attacks, Yusuke.
Yusuke starts charging his Mega Spirit Gun, while Hiei starts charging his Dragon of the Darkness Flame. They unleashed their ultimate attacks and combined them, The combo attack hits Sora and Auron, doing alot of damage. Sora and Auron are still standing, panting heavily.
Sora: Man...that was...a really...powerful...attack.
Yusuke: You should give up if you value your life.
Auron: That attack...may be...powerful...but we...have a...Limit, too.
Sora and Auron both use Bushido again. They use Shooting Star to deliver a Spin Attack, Banishing Blade to create fire pillars, and finished with Spiral to create a tornado. All of the attacks hit Yusuke and Hiei, knocking them both out.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner!
Sora ran up to Yusuke.
Sora: Are you OK, Yusuke?
Yusuke: I'm fine, Sora. That was a great battle.
Sora: How was the Dark Tournament?
Yusuke: It hasn't started yet. We are training for it.
Sora: Well, I hope you'll win that tournament.
Yusuke: I hope you do with this one, too.
Hiei: Next time we get stronger, you'll have to challenge me and Yusuke to a rematch.
Sora: It's a promise.
Sora and Yusuke both shook hands and took a 10 minute break. After break time is over, Team Sora returns to the arena. Their next opponent is Team Sailor Moon. The team consisted of Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina. They are in their Sailor Scout forms.
Sora: So, I get to fight Serena and her friends next.
Serena: Hey, Sora! It's great to see you again.
Sora: Great to see you, too. Where are Darien and Rini?
Serena: They're right over there.
Everyone looks up to where Serena was pointing at. They saw Darien, Rini, Luna, and Artemis, cheering on Team Sailor Moon.
Darien: Come on, Serena!
Rini: You can do it!
Serena: I won't go easy on you Sora.
Sora: I won't go easy on you either.
Referee: Let the battle begin!
The battle starts with Sora battling Serena. Serena uses her Moon Tiara Action on Sora, but he blocks the attack. He proceeds to slash at Serena a couple of times. Mina uses her Venus Crescent Beam Shower on Auron, but he spins his sword to block each light beam. He proceeds to slash Mina. Amy uses Mercury Bubble Freeze, while Raye uses Mars Firebird Strike on Plucky, but he dodged both attacks and uses Fire on Amy and Blizzard on Raye, doing alot of damage to them. Lita uses the Jupiter Thunder Dragon on Dizzy, but he dodged the attack and headbutts her in the stomach. Team Sailor Moon has taken alot of damage from Team Sora.
Serena: Man, You're really powerful, Sora.
Sora: Yeah, So are you.
Serena: Now, we'll have to get serious.
Serena pulls out her Moon Kaleidoscope and uses the Moon Gorgeous Meditation, hitting Sora with it's diamond-shaped particles. Mina uses the Venus Love Chain, hitting Auron many times with her light chain. Amy uses the Mercury Ice Storm Blast, while Raye uses the Mars Celestial Fire Surround. Both attacks hits Plucky, doing alot of damage. Lita uses the Jupiter Thunderclap Zap, zapping Dizzy with the thunder ball. Team Sora took alot of damage from those attacks.
Plucky: Man, those girls are really powerful.
Dizzy: We need to fight like them.
Sora: How about we try the Trinity Limit?
Auron: The Trinity Limit?
Sora: It's when me, Plucky, and Dizzy joined together to make our ultimate attack.
Plucky: That sounds like a plan.
Dizzy: Let do it!
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy use the Trinity Limit. First, they use Break, where they delivered powerful slashing combos on the Sailor Scouts. Then they use Major Drive, where they fired a bunch of orbs at the Sailor Scouts. Then they use Ultima, where they created a giant orb to suck in the Sailor Scouts for a powerful combo attack. Finally, they use Trinity Finish, which they created a giant explosion of light. When the light dies down, the Sailor Scouts were back in their civilian forms, all knocked out.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner!
Sora ran up to Serena.
Sora: Are you OK, Serena?
Serena: I'm fine. That was a good battle, Sora.
Sora: I'm glad we get to battle.
Serena: Me too. Next time we battle, I'll have to go into my Super Sailor Moon form and team up with someone as powerful as me.
Sora: I'll look forward to that day we have a rematch.
Sora and Serena both shook hands and took a 10 minute break. After break time is over, Team Sora returns to the arena. Their next opponent is Team Brock. The team consisted of Brock and Misty.
Sora: So, I get to battle Brock and Misty?
Brock: That's right. I may have watched the past tournaments last time, but this time, I will fight.
Misty: I wasn't able to see the tournaments, because I have to run the Cerulean Gym. Now, I can have fun in this tournament.
Brock and Misty both pulls out their Pokeballs.
Brock: Steelix, LET'S ROCK!
Misty: Gyarados, IT'S FIREFIGHTING TIME!
Brock and Misty released Steelix and Gyarados.
Referee: Let the battle begin!
The battle starts with Steelix using Dig. He digs undergound and waiting for his chance to strike. Gyarados uses Flamethrower on Plucky and Dizzy, but they dodged the attack. Finally, Steelix came out of the ground and hits Sora and Auron. Steelix then use Rock Throw, throwing rocks at Sora and Auron, but they deflected the rocks back at Steelix, doing some damage to him. Gyarados uses Hydro Pump on Plucky and Dizzy, doing some damage to the two toons. Plucky counters with Thunder, doing alot of damage to Gyarados, and Dizzy headbutts Gyarados, knocking him down to the ground.
Misty: Team Sora is alot stronger than we thought.
Brock: We're gonna have to fight alot harder. Steelix, use Sandstorm!
Steelix uses Sandstorm to cover the entire arena in a sandstorm. Team Sora could barely see a thing. Suddenly, a bright light came out of the storm and Steelix hits Sora and Auron with his Iron Tail. Plucky and Dizzy couldn't see a thing either. Suddenly, an orange beam came and hits Plucky and Dizzy. It was a Hyper Beam sent by Gyarados.
Plucky: Man, I can't see anything in this sandstorm.
Dizzy: Dizzy keeps getting hit by sand and beams.
Auron: We need to focus on their attacks, when they shine. That's when we dodge them and attack.
Sora: Great idea, Auron. Let's try it out.
Team Sora decides to wait for Steelix and Gyarados to attack. Suddenly, a Flamethrower came out of the storm and Plucky and Dizzy dodged it. Plucky uses another Thunder at where Gyarados was, doing alot of damage to him. Dizzy headbutts Gyarados, knocking him back down. Sora and Auron saw Steelix preparing another Iron Tail and dodged the attack. Sora and Auron jumps towards Steelix and slashed their blades at him, knocking him down. When the sandstorm dies out, Steelix and Gyarados are on the ground, knocked out.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner!
Brock and Misty ran up to their Pokemon.
Brock: Steelix, are you alright?
Misty: Gyarados, you're not hurt, are you?
Both Steelix and Gyarados got up.
Brock: You did great, Steelix.
Misty: You deserve a good rest, Gyarados.
Brock and Misty returns their Pokemon to their Pokeballs. Sora walks up to them.
Sora: That was a great battle, you two.
Brock: Thanks, Sora. We really underestimate you.
Misty: Next time our Pokemon get stronger, maybe we can have a rematch.
Sora: OK. It's a promise.
Sora shook hands with Brock and Misty and took a 10 minute break. After the break is over, Team Sora returns to the arena. Their next opponent is Team Leon. The team consisted of Leon and Yuffie.
Sora: Leon! Yuffie! We get to battle each other again.
Leon: Yes. And this time, I won't go easy on you.
Yuffie: I won't go easy on Plucky and Dizzy, either.
Plucky: Me and Dizzy won't go easy as well.
Referee: Let the battle begin!
The battle starts with Sora and Auron clashing with Leon, while Plucky and Dizzy battles Yuffie. Dizzy tried to punch Yuffie, but she disappears in a puff of smoke. She later reappears behind Plucky and uppercuts him. She teleports again and threw shurikens at Dizzy, but he dodged the attacks. Dizzy proceeds to quickly headbutts her in the stomach. Plucky then use Thunder to zap her. She was barely standing after that attack.
Yuffie: Man, you two are powerful.
Plucky: You have gotten alot better, too.
Yuffie: I'm just getting started however.
Yuffie pulls out a giant shuriken. She threw it at Plucky and Dizzy, doing alot of damage to the two. They both counterattacked however, with Plucky doing a Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder combo on her, doing alot of damage to her, and Dizzy using his Spin Attack, doing even more damage. Plucky and Dizzy finished her off with both of them doing a jump kick combo, knocking her out.
Plucky: Now, all that's left is Leon.
Dizzy: Let Sora and Auron take care of Leon.
Leon uses Power to power up his Gunblade. It grew five times it's size and starts to hit Sora and Auron like crazy. Sora and Auron are still able to stand.
Auron: What was that?
Sora: It's an ability that Leon uses to power up his Gunblade. Don't worry. I have an ace up my sleeve. Dizzy!
Dizzy: Right!
Sora and Dizzy merged to become the Valor Form again. Sora now wields the Flamethrower and Monochrome Keyblades.
Leon: Impressive. But you're still no match for me.
Sora: We'll see about that.
Sora charges at Leon with two of his Keyblades. Sora clashed with Leon's giant Gunblade with his two Keyblades. Eventually, Sora knocks the Gunblade out of Leon's hand. Sora quickly slashed Leon with his Keyblade combo attack. Finally, he finished with a Spin Attack, doing alot of damage to Leon, knocking him out. Sora and Dizzy returns to normal after the attack.
Referee: Team Sora is the winner! They will proceed to the final round!
Sora walks up to Leon.
Sora: Are you OK, Leon?
Leon: I'm fine. You were pretty tough.
Sora: Well, I did alot of training.
Yuffie: Plucky and Dizzy were pretty strong, too.
Plucky: Yeah, we trained like heroes.
Dizzy: He mean junior heroes.
Plucky sweatdrops from that comment.
Leon: Next time, we may have to bring in Cloud to help us.
Sora: I'm looking forward to that day we fight again.
Sora and Leon shook hands and took a 10 minute break. After break time is over, Team Sora returns to the arena. Their next opponent is Ash himself.
May: Come on, Ash! You can do it!
Sora: Hey, Ash!
Ash: Hi, Sora.
Sora: What's wrong?
Ash: Nothing. I'm ready for a battle.
He pull out three Pokeballs.
Ash: Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor, I CHOOSE YOU!
He threw three Pokeballs and released Noctowl, Swellow, and Staraptor.
Referee: Let the battle begin!
The battle starts with Sora and Auron fighting Staraptor, Plucky fighting Noctowl, and Dizzy fighting Swellow. Sora and Auron keeps slashing at Staraptor, but he dodged all of the attacks. He then use Aerial Ace and hits both of them without missing. Plucky uses Thunder on Noctowl, but she dodged the attack and uses Psychic to lift Plucky in the air. She then tossed Plucky towards Dizzy, who was battling Swellow. Swellow uses Wing Attack, making his wings glow, and hits both Plucky and Dizzy. Team Sora is struggling with Ash's Pokemon.
Sora: Man, Ash's Pokemon are tough as always.
Plucky: We need to focus on one Pokemon at a time.
Dizzy: That strategy might work.
Auron: First, let's take out that owl.
Team Sora first focused on Noctowl. She uses Air Slash, forming a light blue energy ball of wind and hits Plucky, but Sora, Dizzy, and Auron proceeds to attack her. Sora and Auron keeps slashing her, while Dizzy keeps punching and kicking her. Suddenly, Noctowl starts glowing. She uses Sky Attack, charges at the gang, and doing alot of damage. Suddenly, Noctowl got really tired. Plucky uses Thunder on Noctowl, doing alot of damage to her. Sora finished her off with a powerful slash, sending her down to the ground.
Sora: One down. Two more to go.
Staraptor and Swellow starts charging at the gang. They both use Brave Bird, engulfing themselves in blue aura, and charges at Team Sora. Plucky jumps in the way, taking the hit, and knocking himself out. Sora, Auron, and Dizzy focused on Swellow first. Sora and Auron keeps slashing at Swellow, while Dizzy uses his Spin Attack, doing alot of damage to him. Auron finished Swellow off with a powerful slash, sending him down to the ground.
Sora: Now, all that's left is Staraptor.
Staraptor charges at the gang, preparing to attack. He uses Close Combat, kicking with his talons, and punching with his wings at Dizzy, knocking him out. Sora and Auron use Bushido again, first using Shooting Star, then Banishing Blade, and Spiral to finish it off. Staraptor took alot of damage from the attack. He was panting heavily. Sora and Auron both delivered a powerful slash at Staraptor, knocking him down to the ground.
Referee: Team Ash is unable to battle! Team Sora is the winner!
The audience cheers for Team Sora's victory. Ash ran up to his Pokemon.
Ash: Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor, are you all OK?
His Pokemon all nodded. Sora walks up to Ash.
Sora: That was a great battle.
Ash: Yeah. I guess.
Sora: What's wrong, Ash?
Ash: I'm not my usual self. That's why I lost.
Sora: Maybe next time, we can have another rematch.
Sora held his hand out to Ash, but Ash just walks away in sadness. Minutes later, Sora was rewarded the Jessie & James Cup. It's a white trophy with a red letter R on it. Back at the entrance, Sora was talking to Ash and his friends. Kirby and his friends were there, too.
Tiff: You were awesome, Sora!
Tuff: I knew you would win the tournament!
Kirby: Sora wins! Sora wins!
Sora: Is Kirby still speaking like a baby?
Tiff: A little, but his speaking skills have improved since you last met him.
Tuff: He's speaking alot like Dizzy and Yoshi now.
Kirby: Where Yoshi? Where Yoshi?
Sora: He's not with us sadly.
Kirby looks down in disappointment. Sora starts talking to Ash and his friends now.
Sora: So, when is the next tournament?
May: It won't be ready for a while.
Dawn: I will be participating in the next tournament. Maybe there, we can battle, Sora.
Sora: I'm looking forward to that day.
Ash: Just be careful, you guys. OK?
Sora: We will. See you later.
Sora and the gang waves good-bye to Ash and his friends and returns to the Gummi Ship.
Sora: So, where to now, Sweetie?
Sweetie: We can travel to a new world west of Acme Castle.
Plucky: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go back to Acme Castle and travel from there to a new world.
Sneezer: Yes, sir! Traveling back to Acme Castle!
The Gummi Ship took off into space and flew all the way to Acme Castle. It then travels west from there to travel to a new world.
That's it for chapter 17. Next time, Sora and the gang will travel to a Konami world.
