In this chapter, Sora will return to a Digimon world. I will also include a Pokemon character in this chapter.
Chapter 20: Return to Odaiba Part 1
After going through Ancient Highway, the gang were all over the place.
Sora: That was a really fast ride!
Plucky: That wheel almost got us killed!
Dizzy: That was fun! Let do it again!
Elder-Ham: I'm too old for that kinda ride!
Sneezer: Are you guys OK?
Sora: We're fine.
Sweetie: That's great. By the way, we're heading to another world.
Everyone looks out the window to see a familiar city with the Fuji TV Station. There is another world above it.
Sora: Hey, it's Odaiba! But what is that world?
Sweetie: I believe it's called the Digital World or Digiworld.
Sora: I wonder how the Digidestined are doing?
Plucky: Let's go down to find out.
The Gummi Ship departs for Odaiba.
World: Odaiba
In the city of Odaiba, a black bat-like creature is flying around. He is Demidevimon, a Digimon and former second-in-command of Myotismon. He stops flying, lands on some fence, and sighs. He then noticed something coming. He saw Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy walking through the warehouse section of the city.
Plucky: We made it to Odaiba.
Dizzy: Dizzy wonder how Digidestined are doing.
Sora: Maybe Riku is with them.
Dizzy: Yeah. And maybe Buster, too.
Demidevimon decides to follow them. He flew back up again.
Plucky: Keep dreaming, you two.
Sora: Come on, Plucky. You were thinking the same thing.
Plucky: No I'm not.
As Demidevimon follows them, Dizzy looks behind to see him, then he looks forward and walks, then he looks back in shock. He stops and saw Demidevimon flying around him.
Dizzy: Uh-oh! It...umm...DEMIDEVIMON!
Sora and Plucky stops, turns around, and drew out their weapons. Demidevimon flew towards them.
Demidevimon: Wait! You got me all wrong!
Plucky: You're Demidevimon alright!
Demidevimon: No! It's not the old me. I turned over a new feather. I'm not a bad guy anymore. Promise!
Sora: I'll bet that's your new scam!
Demidevimon: You gotta believe me!
Plucky: Sora, let's go!
Demidevimon: I was swallowed up by Myotismon. Remember? I was lucky to escape, before he digested me. But some things have happened and...
Sora: So, you're free as a bird now, huh?
Plucky: I bet you were having fun.
Dizzy: He look pretty sad.
Demidevimon flew to Dizzy and lands on his head.
Demidevimon: I wanna apologize to the Digidestined. Could you guys maybe put in the good word for me?
Dizzy: Sure. We can do that. Right, guys?
As the trio were talking, some Heartless are approaching them. Demidevimon noticed them and flew up.
Demidevimon: WATCH OUT!
The trio turns to see a new type of Heartless called Luna Bandits. They wield two scimitars, wear green helmets, white capes, and white pants. Sora clashed with their scimitars with his Keyblade. The gang keeps on fighting them, but no matter how many they destroyed, they just keep coming. The Heartless then surrounds the trio.
Sora: Where are they coming from?
Two Heartless turned to Demidevimon and tried to attack him, but he flew out of the way and knocks some barrels aside. The barrels rolled towards the Heartless, knocking them out, and freeing Sora and the gang.
Sora: Let's get outta here!
Sora and the gang ran towards a warehouse. Demidevimon follows them along the way. Inside the warehouse, the trio looks around and sighs. They then look at Demidevimon.
Dizzy: We be goners if Demidevimon didn't help us. Right, guys?
Sora: I guess we owe you one.
Demidevimon: Great!
Sora: But you'll have to win the trust of the Digidestined yourself. Be on your best behavior. Got it?
Demidevimon: Got it!
Dizzy: Where Digidestined?
Demidevimon: I'll bet they are back in their apartment.
Sora: Then let's go!
The gang left the warehouse and starts heading towards the apartment, where the Digidestined live. Along the way, they are fighting Heartless. When they made it to the apartment, they found three girls and their Digimon. One girl has red hair, wears a blue helmet, yellow sleeveless shirt, pink gloves, and blue jeans. Besides hear is a pink bird Digimon. The other girl has long light brown hair, wears a pink hat and dress, and brown gloves. Besides her is a light green plant Digimon with a magenta flower on her head. The last girl is a little girl with brown hair, wears a yellow sleeveless shirt, and pink shorts. Besides her is a white cat with yellow gloves. The girls in order are Sora, Mimi, and Kari. Their Digimon in order are Biyomon, Palmon, and Gatomon.
Sora: Hi, Sora, Mimi, and Kari!
The girls turned around and gasped in happiness.
Girl Sora: Sora! Plucky! Dizzy!
Plucky: Hi, girls!
He took a bow. Sora and Dizzy did the same thing. The girls giggled.
Kari: I never had the chance to thank you before. You helped us defeat that awful Myotismon and saved Odaiba.
Sora: All in a day's work.
Demidevimon was hiding behind Dizzy. He tried to fly behind Sora, but flew back to Dizzy.
Sora: But it looks like the Heartless are up to no good again.
Mimi: Oh, dear. That sounds terrible.
Sora: Is there anyway we can help?
Biyomon: I think we're OK for now.
Dizzy: Where other Digidestined?
Gatomon: They're here somewhere in Odaiba.
The trio noticed the Girl Sora and Biyomon looking sad.
Sora: What's wrong, Sora?
Girl Sora: It's Tai. He hasn't been himself lately.
Plucky: Is it because of the Heartless?
Girl Sora: I'm not sure. Usually, he's the same cheerful Tai. But sometimes...he just seems sad.
Biyomon: Agumon is behaving strange, too. He leaves the Digital World and goes off with the other Digimon all the time. I've asked him about it, but he says nothing's wrong.
Girl Sora: They're gone again today. What if they don't come back this time?
Mimi: Calm down, Sora. I'm sure they'll be alright.
Demidevimon flew up, revealing himself to the girls and their Digimon.
Demidevimon: Maybe they got secret girlfriends! I'll go find out who they are!
Girl Sora, Mimi, & Kari: DEMIDEVIMON!
Biyomon flew up and uses Spiral Twister, firing a green spiral flame from her beak. The attack missed Demidevimon, as he flew back to Sora.
Kari: Quick, Sora, catch him! We'll go find T.K., Tai, and the other Digidestined!
The Digidestined girls and their Digimon starts running off.
Sora: Wait, you guys! Demidevimon's not...
The Digidestined girls already ran into the city to find the Digidestined boys. Sora sighs and turns to Demidevimon.
Sora: Way to go.
Dizzy: Maybe Demidevimon said something wrong.
Demidevimon sighs.
Dizzy: Maybe we go talk to Digidestined boys. They gotta be somewhere in city.
Sora: Good idea. I wonder what they are doing?
The gang walks into the marketplace, when they hear a voice.
?: STOP, THIEVES!
The gang turns to see a yellow baby t-rex, a yellow wolf with blue fur coat, an orange hamster with wings, a red ladybug, and a white seal with four legs. The Digimon are Agumon, Gabumon, Patamon, Tentomon, and Gomamon. Gomamon was carrying some kind of purple vase on his mouth.
Sora: Hey, there's Agumon and the rest of the Digimon!
The gang turns to see five boys running. One boy has brown messy hair with goggles, wears a blue t-shirt, gray gloves, and brown shorts. One boy has blonde hair, wears a green sleeveless shirt, brown gloves, and blue pants. One boy is a little boy with blonde hair, wears a green hat, green long sleeve shirt, and brown shorts. One boy is another little boy with red spiky hair, wears a red long sleeve shirt, yellow gloves, and brown shorts. The last boy was the oldest one with blue hair, wears glasses, a white collar shirt, and gray shorts. The boys in order are Tai, Matt, T.K., Izzy, and Joe. They ran past Sora and the gang.
Tai: Hi, Sora!
Sora and the gang then saw a man with brown hair with a white headband, wears a white collar shirt, and black pants.
Man: Come back here!
Demidevimon flew forward to follow the man. Sora and the gang decides to follow them, too. The Digidestined and their Digimon reached a dead end, where the man caught up to them.
Man: If you can't control those little pests, put a leash on them!
Matt: Look, we're sorry...We tried to stop them from stealing something.
Gomamon: But there was something weird about this vase.
Joe: No excuses, Gomamon! You should be ashamed of yourself!
Gomamon gave a sad look and hands the vase back to Joe. Joe walks over to the man with a vase.
Joe: No hard feelings?
The man grabs the vase from Joe's hand and walks away. The boys looked at their Digimon with angry looks.
Tai: Agumon! What were you thinking?
Agumon: I'm sorry, Tai. But there is something weird about that vase.
The Digimon then saw Sora and the gang approaching them.
Patamon: Hey, look! There's Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy!
The Digimon ran over to the trio.
T.K.: Hey, Sora! Sorry about earlier. We were in a hurry.
Sora: What happened?
Tai: It's our Digimon. They couldn't keep their eyes off that vase.
Tentomon: But there is something weird about that vase!
Izzy: There's no talking your way outta this one, Tentomon!
Everyone but the Digimon laughs. Then Sora spoke up.
Sora: I guess you can't be that down in the dumps.
Tai: Who said we were.
Dizzy: The girl Digidestined. They say you always go out without them.
Plucky: So, Tai and Agumon. You guys got new girlfriends?
Tai & Agumon: No way!
Tai: Still...I guess there's no fooling our Sora.
Agumon: You see, me and my friends took off to see the world. It's what we always wanted. Tai wished me the best and all, but...
Dizzy: The Digimon miss Digidestined, don't they?
Sora puts his hands behind his head again.
Sora: Man, things must be really quiet without your Digimon.
Matt: Yeah. That's why we come here. The action, the people. There's always something going on.
T.K.: Now, we met you guys here today, right? This place is full of surprises.
Dizzy then turns around.
Dizzy: Sora? Someone wanna meet Digidestined.
The Digidestined and their Digimon turns to see Demidevimon shaking.
Tai: Demidevimon?
Sora: Oh, right...He wants to apologize for all the trouble he caused.
Izzy: Oh, he does?
Dizzy: Demidevimon is so sorry, he shaking.
Demidevimon:(Whimpers)Th-th-that vase!
Joe: What about it?
Demidevimon flew over to the Digidestined.
Demidevimon: That vase has the spirit of Myotismon inside of it!
Tai: Come on. There are a million vases like that one.
Demidevimon: Hey, I know there's an evil presence inside that lamp! There's no way I'd made a mistake!
Patamon: I believe Demidevimon is right. There is something weird about that vase.
T.K.: Then we better go talk to that man.
Sora: Right behind you, guys. Let's go.
Sora's gang, the Digidestined, and Digimon starts walking around the marketplace to find that man. Along the way, they fought Heartless, including a new type called the Silver Rocks. They are similar to magic Heartless like the Red Nocturnes and Blue Rhapsodies, except that they are silver and wear black and white-striped hats. The Silver Rocks fired light orbs at the gang, but they easily dodged their attacks. They defeated the Heartless and found the man running a shop called the Magikarp Shop.
Sora: Magikarp Shop? Why would there be a Pokemon shop in this world?
Tai: No matter. We came for the vase. Let's go check it out.
The gang went into the shop. The man greets them.
Man: Hello! Welcome to my Magikarp Shop! Would you like to buy one of my Magikarp?
Matt: Actually, we came for that vase.
He points to the same vase that the Digimon stole.
Sora: Can we buy that vase from you?
Man: Of course...If you can afford it.
Sora turns to see the Digimon waving their paws, telling him to hurry up. He turns back to the man.
Sora: No problem.
Plucky: Yeah. We can pay you in royal trea-
Sora: PLUCKY!
The man looks at them curiously.
Man: May I interest you in another fine vase?
Sora: Nope. That's the one we need.
Man: Oh, well...Perhaps I can give it to you...If you bring me a treasure beyond my imagination. Something fit for a king.
Everyone gasped. Sora looks at Plucky.
Sora: Way to go, Plucky!
The gang left the shop and told the Digimon everything.
Agumon: So, we have to find treasure fit for a king?
Tai: Finding treasure like that could be tricky.
Gomamon: I heard Mimi have some.
Izzy: But that's not ours. And we can't ask her. She might get mad at us.
Demidevimon flew up to them.
Demidevimon: I know! What about treasure back in Myotismon's Castle in the Digital World?
T.K.: But isn't that castle in ruins?
Demidevimon: That doesn't mean there can't be treasure. The treasure's in the basement of the castle.
Tai: Alright, Demidevimon. You'll lead the way. After we get the treasure, I might be convinced that you've changed.
Demidevimon: You can count on me!
The gang follows Demidevimon. They battled more Heartless along the way, as they reached the park.
Sora: So, what do we do now?
Demidevimon: We return to the Digital World.
Plucky: But how do we do that?
Tai: We pull out our Digivices and create a portal.
The Digidestined pulls out light blue devices and held them out in the air. The Digivices created a sky portal that sent them all flying upwards. They keep flying up the portal, until they landed on the ground. When the light dies down, they found themselves in a desert oasis. The oasis has a big lake and trees all over the place.
Sora: Where are we?
Tentomon: This is the Continent of Server. It's a desert continent.
Plucky: So, it's like North Africa and the Middle East.
Sora: Where is the castle?
Joe: It's right over there.
He points to a mountain range surrounded by dark clouds.
Matt: That's where Myotismon's Castle is. It's a dangerous place, but we'll be alright if we stick together.
Plucky: I bet we can find enough treasure in that castle to satisfy that salesman. I wonder if there will be enough to satisfy me?
Demidevimon: Myotismon's Castle is full of traps. You'll have to fight your way through.
Izzy: We need to get there as soon as possible. Tentomon!
Tentomon: Right!
Izzy's Digivice starts glowing and Tentomon glows, too.
Tentomon: Tentomon Warp Digivolve to...MEGAKABUTERIMON!
Tentomon has transformed into a giant red rhino beetle. Everyone went on Megakabuterimon, as he flew off to the mountain range. Meanwhile, on the mountain with a ruined castle, Monty and Team Rocket are looking at the castle.
Meowth: So, dis is Myotismon's Castle?
Monty: Yes. I'll bet there is treasure inside here.
Jessie: Just imagine what we could do with it.
James: We could sell it for millions!
Jessie: I could set up my own fashion show!
James: I could buy a luxury cruiser with that cash!
Meowth: I could become da top cat again!
Monty: I could buy Acme Castle and become king!
Meowth: Now, let's go get dat treasure!
Just as Monty and Team Rocket enters the castle, Megakabuterimon arrives. The gang disembarks and Megakabuterimon returns back to Tentomon.
Demidevimon: Here we are. We're at Myotismon's Castle.
T.K.: I wonder if it has treasure there?
Demidevimon: Of course it does. Myotismon's Castle is full of treasures. We'll find it and bring it back to that salesman.
Sora: Then let's go!
The gang enters the castle.
