Chapter 21: Return to Odaiba Part 2
The gang has entered Myotismon's Castle. Inside, they encountered three new type of Heartless. One is called a Fortune Teller. They are harem-like Heartless wearing white veils, robes, and pants. The other is called a Fiery Globe. They are small rock-like Heartless with red cracks all over their bodies. The last one is called a Fat Bandit. They are round Bandit Heartless, wearing red vests. The Fortune Tellers shot ice balls and the Fat Bandits shot fireballs, but the gang easily dodged their attacks. After dealing with the Heartless, the gang enters a hallway with a jewel floating by the entrance, a statue at the end of the hall, and waterfalls at the sides of the room going up.
Sora: This room reminds me of Hollow Bastion.
The gang walks up to the statue and noticed a hole in the pedestal in front of it.
Sora: What do we have here?
Tai: It looks like something belongs in there.
Plucky: I wonder what fits in there?
Everybody went back to the entrance and looks at the floating jewel.
Joe: I wonder why the jewel is floating.
T.K.: It could be a trap.
Tentomon: Or maybe it's some kinda puzzle.
Patamon flew up to look at the jewel.
Patamon: This must be the piece that belongs in that pedestal.
He touched it and the waterfalls disappeared.
Agumon: What's going on?
Suddenly, a bunch of statues came down on the sides. One of the statue's eyes glowed and an ice shard fell from the ceiling.
Matt: It's a trap!
Izzy: We need to put that jewel at the pedestal!
T.K.: Patamon, you carry the jewel along the way!
Patamon: Right! Everyone protect me!
Patamon was flying through the hallway, carrying the jewel. Sora and Agumon took out the ice shards that are going after Patamon near the entrance. Plucky and Gabumon took out the ice shards halfway through. Dizzy, Tentomon, and Gomamon took out the ice shards near the end. Patamon puts the jewel on the pedestal and the statues deactivated. The statue at the end of the hall disappears, revealing a new pathway.
T.K.: Way to go, Patamon!
Sora: Now, we can move forward.
The gang enters the next room. It appears to be some kind of platform with some sign on it. Sora reads the sign.
Complete the challenge within the allotted time.
After he reads it, the platform disappears. Everyone fell down to another platform, where they are attacked by a new type of Heartless called an Icy Cube. They are Heartless shaped like ice cubes. The gang defeats them and the platform disappears, making them fall to another platform, where they are attacked by Fiery Globes and Icy Cubes. They quickly finished them off and fall to another platform, where they are attacked by a Fat Bandit. They finished it off and fall on another platform, where they are attacked by Fortune Tellers. They finished them off and the stairs that leads to a door appears. They went up the stairs and read the sign.
Victor of the trial...You possess great strength.
The door opens, after they read the sign.
Demidevimon: This leads to the treasure room.
Plucky: Alright! Now, we can become rich!
Sora: Hold it, Plucky! We're only here for a special treasure.
Tai: He's right. We must find that treasure and give it to that salesman.
Plucky looks down in disappointment. The gang enters the room to find a treasure room. Everyone was wowed by the room. There are gold coins and jewels all over the room. They walked down the end of the room to find a special treasure there. It looks like a golden trophy adorned with a ruby, sapphire, and emerald on top of it. Plucky and Dizzy looks in amazement.
Plucky: Look at that trophy.
Dizzy: It so beautiful.
Tai: I think that trophy will do.
Plucky ran up to look at it. Meanwhile, back at the entrance, Monty and Team Rocket enters and found the gang looking at the trophy.
Meowth(Whispers)Hey, look! It's da twerps!
Monty:(Whispers)And it looks like they found the treasure first. Let's hide!
Monty and Team Rocket hid behind the sides of the door. Back to the gang, Plucky is looking at the trophy.
Plucky: Oh, boy. It's perfect. That guy's gonna love it.
Sora: It sure looks valuable.
Matt: Great! Now, let's go get that vase.
Monty and Team Rocket snickers quietly.
Agumon: We gotta keep Myotismon bottled up, or he'll destroy both the Real World and Digital World.
Gomamon and Demidevimon are in a tug-a-war over a small statue carrying a red jewel, while Plucky is tapping his foot.
Plucky: STOP, YOU TWO!
His shouting made Gomamon jump back and Demidevimon drop the statue. He then looks at the statue and thought to himself.
Plucky: This statue looks pretty. Maybe I should give it to Shirley.
Izzy: HEY! Snap out of it, Plucky!
He made Plucky jump and shook himself. Monty and Team Rocket snickers again. They walked away and Monty snaps his fingers. Suddenly, the whole room goes dark and a bunch of Heartless surrounded the heroes.
Plucky: Why does this always happen?
Sora uses the Speed Charm to summon Sonic. Sonic uses the Lightspeed Attack to curl into a ball, charge up his attack, and fly around the room, destroying the Heartless. Sora uses Fire and Blizzard, Plucky uses Thunder, and Dizzy uses his Spin Attack. Agumon uses Pepper Breath, breathing a fireball from his mouth. Gabumon uses Blue Blaster, breathing an ice stream from his mouth. Tentomon uses Super Shocker, firing a lightning bolt from his head. Gomamon uses Marching Fish, summoning a bunch of fish. Patamon uses Boom Bubble, blowing an air bubble from his mouth. In a few minutes, they defeated a bunch of Heartless. After all of the Heartless are defeated, the room became bright again.
Sora: Let's go back to Odaiba!
They gang left the castle and returns to Odaiba. They went back to the Magikarp Shop, but the man is not here.
Joe: Hello? Is anyone there?
They looked around the shop for the man, but haven't found him. Suddenly, they hear some voices.
? 1: Stop your whining and hand over the vase!
? 2: No! I'm trading it for treasure! This vase is going to make me rich!
The gang ran out of the shop and saw Monty and Team Rocket chase the salesman around.
Meowth: Get back here, you twerpy salesman!
Monty: Give us back that vase!
Sora: Monty and Team Rocket!
Plucky: Let's go after them!
The gang chased Monty and Team Rocket, who are chasing the salesman holding the vase to the Fuji TV Station. Meowth ran so fast, he caught up to the salesman. He jumps and grabs the vase from his hands.
Meowth: Dank you.
The salesman starts chasing after Meowth.
Man: Hey! Give that back! It's mine!
He snags it back from Meowth's paws. Meowth starts chasing him again. Suddenly, the gang arrives and found Monty and Team Rocket chasing the salesman around.
Monty: Vase pig!
Man: Go away, you thieves!
Monty and Team Rocket caught up to him.
Meowth: Gotcha!
They took the vase from him.
Man: No fair!
Meowth is holding the vase above his head.
Monty:(Laughs)We win!
Suddenly, Demidevimon snags the vase from Meowth's paws. Meowth made a surprised look. He then looks up and saw that the vase is gone. He then saw Demidevimon fly away with the vase.
Sora: Nice one, Demidevimon!
T.K.: Way to go!
Plucky: Don't drop it!
Dizzy: Look! Behind you!
Demidevimon is being chased by the salesman, Monty, and Team Rocket, as they tried to grab the vase from him, but he dodged them and sent them crashing to the wall. Demidevimon looks back at them and snickers, but then hits the wall and drops the vase. Meowth picks up the vase and laughs.
Meowth: Nice try, Digital Twerp.
Monty: Now wait until Myotismon is free. He's gonna be one really powerful Heartless.
Suddenly, the Digidestined girls and their Digimon came running in.
Girl Sora: What's going on?
Tai: Sora, you came just in time!
Sora: Monty and Team Rocket are trying to take that vase to reawaken Myotismon.
Girl Sora, Mimi, & Kari: WHAT?
Meowth suddenly looks at Gatomon and fell in love.
Meowth: Ahh! I finally found beauty in dis world.
He ran up to Gatomon and offers her flowers.
Meowth: How would you like to go with me on a date?
Before he knew it, Gatomon slashed up all his flowers.
Gatomon: Sorry, but I have Patamon.
Meowth was in tears. Monty, Jessie, and James starts to prepare their motto.
Sora: Get ready, guys!
Tai: What are they gonna do?
Plucky: They're planning to do that stupid motto.
Jessie: Prepare for trouble, we'll have the vase...
James: And make it double, we'll settle the case...
Monty: To protect the world from devastation...
James: To unite all people within our nation...
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love...
Monty: To extend our reach to the stars above...
Jessie: Jessie...
James: James...
Monty: Montana Max, now that's a name...
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light...
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight...
Monty: And we'll make sure this will be your last night!
Meowth: Meowth, dat's right!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Chimecho: Chime! Chime!
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy just sweatdrops, while the Digidestined and their Digimon laughs, which made Team Rocket angry.
Jessie: Hey! How dare you Digitwerps make fun of the Team Rocket motto!
James: Nobody shall make fun of us and get away with it! Even with our new member!
Monty: That's right! I'll sue you all for a million dollars each!
Sora: Guys, I think you should stop laughing.
The Digidestined and their Digimon stops laughing.
Meowth: Time for Plan B! We'll finish you twerps off right now!
Monty blew on his whistle and summons two fat Heartless. They are Fire Lord and Ice Lord. Fire Lord is the round orange one with a fire staff. Ice Lord is the round light blue one with an ice staff. Jessie and James pulls out their Pokeballs.
Jessie: We'll join in, too! Lickitung, GO!
She released a pink Pokemon with a long tongue.
James: Victreebel, YOU TOO!
He released a yellow bell flower Pokemon. Suddenly, Victreebel turns to James and starts devouring him.
James: OW! I'm glad to see you, too! But not like this!
Sora: We'll take care of Team Rocket. You Digidestined take care of the Heartless.
Tai: Got it! Agumon!
Agumon: Right! Let's go everyone!
All the Digidestined's Digivices started to glow, as well as their Digimon.
Agumon: Agumon Warp Digivolve to...METALGREYMON!
Agumon transforms into a giant ceratosaurus with wings, wears a metal helmet, and metal on his left arm and chest.
Gabumon: Gabumon Warp Digivolve to...WEREGARURUMON!
Gabumon transforms into a werewolf with blue jeans and blue cloth on his left arm.
Biyomon: Biyomon Warp Digivolve to...GARUDAMON!
Biyomon transforms into a giant humanoid red eagle with a mask on her face.
Palmon: Palmon Warp Digivolve to...LILLYMON!
Palmon transforms into a fairy wearing a pink flower dress and a pink flower hat.
Tentomon: Tentomon Warp Digivolve to...MEGAKABUTERIMON!
Tentomon transforms into a giant red rhino beetle.
Gomamon: Gomamon Warp Digivolve to...ZUDOMON!
Gomamon transforms into a giant orange walrus with a green shell on his back and carrying a metal hammer.
Patamon: Patamon Digivolve to...ANGEMON!
Patamon transforms into an angel with long orange hair, wears white clothing, a metal crusader helmet, has six wings, and carries a staff.
Gatomon: Gatomon Digivolve to...ANGEWOMON!
Gatomon transforms into a female version of Angemon with long blonde hair, wears a white bikini, a white glove on her left arm, a crusader helmet like Angemon, has eight wings, and carries a bow.
The Digimon went after Fire Lord and Ice Lord, while Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy went after Lickitung and Victreebel. Lickitung uses Lick on Sora, but Sora slashed his tongue with his Keyblade, making him cry in pain. Victreebel uses Razor Leaf at Plucky and Dizzy, but Plucky uses Fire and Blizzard to burn and freeze all the leaves and Dizzy uses his Spin Attack to block all of the leaves. Lickitung ran up to Sora, jumps in the air, and did a Body Slam on him, doing alot of damage. Victreebel uses Vine Whip, slapping Plucky and Dizzy with his green whips.
Metalgreymon uses Giga Blaster to fire two missiles from his chest at the Ice Lord. Garudamon uses Wing Blade to create a giant firebird at the Ice Lord. Lillymon uses Flower Cannon to fire a green energy ball from her flower-shaped cannon at the Ice Lord. Megakabuterimon uses Horn Buster to fire electricity from his horn at the Ice Lord. Weregarurumon uses Wolf Claw to fire crescent energy waves from his claws at the Fire Lord. Zudomon uses Vulcan Hammer to slam his hammer on the ground, creating a lightning bolt, and aims at the Fire Lord. Angemon uses Hand of Fate to fire a light energy beam from his hand at the Fire Lord. Angewomon uses Celestial Arrow to fire an arrow of light from her bow at the Fire Lord. All of the attacks did some damage to the two Heartless, but the Heartless counterattacked. The Fire Lord breathes fire and the Ice Lord breathes ice at the Digimon, doing some damage to all of them.
Sora: Man, Team Rocket's Pokemon sure are strong.
Plucky: We need to finish them off fast.
Plucky uses Thunder to damage both Lickitung and Victreebel, Dizzy delivers punches and kicks to beat up Victreebel, and Sora slashed Lickitung in a combo. The trio knocked Lickitung and Victreebel back to Monty and Team Rocket. Monty and Team Rocket are all dazed from the impact.
Sora: Now, we must help the Digidestined. Plucky!
Plucky: Right!
Sora and Plucky merged to become Wisdom Form. Sora fires a bunch of Fire spells at the Ice Lord and a bunch of Blizzard spells at the Fire Lord. They did alot of damage to both Lords of the opposite elements. Sora lifts the Fire Lord and threw it at the Ice Lord. Both Lords split into a bunch of Fiery Globes and Icy Cubes. Sora quickly manages to finish all of them off by firing blue arrows at them. After finishing both Lords off, Sora casted Thunder on Monty and Team Rocket, shocking them, and causing an explosion that sent them flying.
Jessie: No fair! I was on my way to become a star!
James: And I was on my way to buy a luxury cruiser!
Meowth: And I was on my way to become da top cat!
Monty: And I was on my way to own Acme Castle!
Wobbuffet: Wobba!
Monty & Team Rocket: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Chimecho: Chime! Chime!
A star twinkles at where they were sent flying to. Sora picks up an amulet that looks like it has a face of a certain blue robot that Sora is familiar with. Later that day, Sora and the Digidestined hid the vase inside a crate inside the warehouse. They all returned to the Digidestined's apartment, where Demidevimon was telling them that he changed.
Demidevimon: I promise. You won't regret giving me another chance. Honest!
Biyomon: Sora, you sure you wanna put him in a coop?
Girl Sora: I think Demidevimon has shown that he's changed.
Agumon: I think you're right.
Sora: How much trouble can a noisy little devil cause?
Dizzy looks at Sora with an angry look.
Sora: No offense, Dizzy.
Dizzy smiles.
Agumon: You might have a point there, Sora.
Mimi: What happens next, Sora?
Sora: Well, it was great to see you all again, but we still need to find Riku and Buster Bunny. I guess we'll be moving on.
Biyomon: I hope you'll find them.
Sora: Me too.
Plucky looks around.
Plucky: Hey, where are Tai and the other Digidestined?
Girl Sora: They ran off towards town, looking for Gomamon. But they should be back by now.
Agumon: Tai can't miss Sora's big farewell party! I'll go look for him!
He was about to run off to go look for Tai and the others, when suddenly...
?: GOMAMON!
Everyone turns to see Gomamon running with a red jewel in his mouth. Tai and the other Digidestined are chasing him.
Tai: CATCH HIM!
Gomamon stops, when he saw Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy ready to jump on him. The three lands on him and each other.
Gomamon: OW! My back hurts!
Tai and the other Digidestined caught up to them.
Matt: He must have secretly stolen it back at Myotismon's Castle.
Plucky took the jewel from Gomamon.
Plucky: Gomamon!
Gomamon looks down in shame. Plucky looks at the jewel and starts to admire it.
Dizzy: Maybe something hard to resist.
Plucky shook himself.
Plucky: Aww, who needs that junk anyway?
He fakes throwing the jewel and hid it behind his back. Everyone looks around to see where it was. Gomamon found it behind Plucky.
Gomamon: I found it!
Plucky: Oh...I guess it got stuck.
Suddenly, the jewel starts glowing and floating in midair. Sora did the usual process, the jewel reveals the Keyhole, and the Keyblade unlocks it. Tai walks up to Sora.
Tai: Sora? What is it?
Sora: I think it's time for us to go.
The Girl Sora held onto Tai's arm, Kari held onto T.K.'s arm, Biyomon held onto Agumon's arm, and Gatomon held onto Patamon's arm.
Girl Sora: Will you be back?
Sora: We will. I promise!
Tai gave a thumbs up to Sora. Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy said good-bye to the Digidestined and Digimon. Before they leave Odaiba, Sora checks out the amulet he got from defeating the Fire and Ice Lords. It's called the Robot Charm. Sora uses it and released a boy robot wearing a blue suit and helmet and dark blue gloves, boots, and shorts. The robot is none other than Megaman.
Megaman: Where am I? I was about to finish Dr. Wily off.
He turns to see Sora and his friends.
Megaman: Sora! Plucky! Dizzy! It's good to see you again!
Sora: Hey, Megaman! Good to see you, too. How are you doing?
Megaman: I'm fine. I've been stopping Wily from taking over my world multiple times. How about you?
Sora: We're traveling to other worlds, trying to find Riku and Buster Bunny.
Megaman: That's awesome. How come I'm here with you now?
Sora: I found this amulet called the Robot Charm. I figured I would call an old friend like you again.
Megaman: That means I could travel with you. Remember over a year ago when I asked you that I could join you?
Sora: Yes. Now, you can help me fight the Heartless.
Suddenly, Megaman starts glowing.
Megaman: Uh-oh! My time is up. Call me again, when you need help.
He returns to the Robot Charm. Sora and the gang returns to the Gummi Ship.
Sora: Where to now, Sweetie?
Sweetie: We can go to the world west from here.
Sora: Then let's take off!
Sneezer: Yes, captain! Preparing to take off!
The Gummi Ship left Odaiba and took off into space. Meanwhile, in a strange city, There are neon lights all over the place. Many lights in the windows were also lit. On the street of this city, there is a blue cat with light blue cheeks and tummy. He is Furrball Pussycat of the Tiny Toons. He looks scared walking around the city.
Furrball: Plucky...Dizzy...Where are you? I'm starting to miss home and Fifi.
He then stops and looks at something. He saw Axel walking into some dark alleyway.
Furrball: Who is that guy? I have a bad feeling about him.
He follows him and found him entering a dark portal. He decides to enter it, but it disappears on him.
Furrball: Aww, I'm too late.
He turns around and found another dark portal.
Furrball: Another portal! Now, I can get outta here!
He ran to the dark portal and jumps in. Back on Destiny Islands, Kairi is now wearing a pink dress with a white top inside of it. She is still staring out at the ocean.
Kairi: Maybe...waiting isn't good enough.
?: That's exactly what I thought! If you have a dream, don't wait. Just do it! On of life's little rules. Got it memorized?
The dark portal appears and Axel came out.
Kairi: Who are you?
Axel: I'm Axel. I happened to be an acquaintance of Sora.
He reached out his arm to Kairi.
Axel: Why don't we go see him?
Kairi: Sora?
?: DON'T DO IT, KAIRI!
Kairi gasped and turns to see Furrball running to her.
Furrball: I wouldn't trust him if I were you!
Suddenly, a bunch of Dusks came and surrounds them.
Furrball: Oh no! We're surrounded!
Suddenly, they hear a whistle and another dark portal appears.
Furrball: Alright! Now, that's our way out of here!
He ran towards the dark portal and turns to Kairi.
Furrball: Come on, Kairi! Let's get outta here!
Axel: Why listen to him? We got something in common, Kairi. We both miss someone we care about. Hey...I feel like we're friends already.
As the Dusks slowly approached Kairi, she ran off to the dark portal, where Furrball jumps in.
Kairi: You're not acting very friendly!
She ran into the dark portal Furrball got in. Inside the portal, Kairi and Furrball are both walking around. The portal appears to be a light blue warped space with Nobody symbols around it.
Kairi: What is this place?
Furrball: I don't know. I've never been here before.
They hear the same whistle and a portal of light appears. They both ran forward and entered it. Kairi turns around and saw a black-hooded figure. Before she could walk out to ask him, the portal closed in on her. The next thing she knows, she found herself laying on the floor.
?: Are you OK?
She got up and looks very confused.
Kairi: Where am I?
She saw Mickey, Donald, and Minnie in their secret area.
Donald: You and that cat came flying outta a hole in the wall. You nearly scared us all.
Kairi: Can anyone tell me what's going on?
The three Disney Toons don't know what was going on. They were just as puzzled as her.
That's it for chapter 21. Kairi and Furrball finally made their appearances. Next time, Sora will enter another anime world.
