Today Robert and Andy have a doctors appointment to see the baby before work.
"I'm so excited to see little peanut today!" Andy said as she got dressed. "If we can do you want to find out the sex?"
"I think it would be fun to have it a surprise." He said.
"Ooo yeah and I could ask Maya and Carina to throw a gender reveal party. I mean we would have to tell the team but they will know soon enough. I mean look how fat I am." She said turning to look at her small baby bump in the mirror.
"Your not fat." He said hugging her from behind. "Your just growing a little peanut in there and she needs room to grow."
"She?" Andy asked giving him a look as there eyes met in the mirror.
"Yes and she's going to be daddy's little princess." He said kissing her neck.
"Well I think it's a boy." She said.
"Oh really?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
She turned around and said, "Oh definitely. Get ready to lose this argument."
"If you think I'm going to lose Mrs.Sullivan, you are wrong." He said kissing her passionately.
"Mr.Sullivan if you keep this up we will be late seeing our little peanut." She said walking to grab her phone.
She sent a quick text out to Maya:
A- Hey, do you think you and carina would be up for throwing a gender reveal party
M- Omg Andy I would love to. What were you thinking.
A- Whatever you want to do. Surprise me. It is also possible that Carina will have the gender today.
M- Ok. What do you want it to be.
A- Well I think it's a boy and Robert thinks a girl but I would be happy with either because we can have more kids in the future.
M- I'm so happy I'm going to be an aunt!
A- Ok well we have to get going so I will talk to you at the station.
M- Ok bye
A- Bye
"Who were you texting?" Robert asked as Andy put her shoes on.
"I was asking Maya if her and Carina would like to plan the gender reveal and she said yes." Andy said.
"That's great." He said kissing her.
"C'mon let's go." She said getting up and grabbing the keys.
When they arrived at the hospital they made it to the waiting room on the OB floor and waited for Carina. After about 6 minutes a nurse came and brought them back to the room.
"Looks like someone's excited to see the baby." Carina said. "If we can do you guys want to know the gender?"
"No Maya is throwing us a gender reveal party so could you tell her the gender." Andy said.
"That sounds perfect. Now let's take a look at this little one." She said placing the wand on Andy's stomach.
When Andy heard the heartbeat she got tears in her eyes. She turned to look at Robert who was just looking at the screen with a smile on his face when he noticed Andy looking at him.
"I love you." He mouthed to her as he bent down and kissed her.
"So it looks like you are around 16 weeks. Would you guys like pictures?" She said looking over at them.
"Yes please." Robert said.
"Ok how many do you guys need?" She asked.
"We need 6 please." Andy said.
"Ok I will be back in a minute." Carina said as she walked out the door.
"Why do we need 6?" Robert asked.
"Well two for us, one for Maya, one to tell ripley, one to tell my dad, and one to put on the station fridge." She said."
"Put one on the fridge?" He gave her a confused look.
"Well I was thinking we could put one on the fridge and see how long it would take them to spot it and we could right baby Sullivan very tiny in like the corner and see who figures it out first." She said standing up.
"That's a good idea." He said placing a small kiss on her lips as Carina walked back into the room.
"Have a goo day you two." She said.
"You too." They both said.
When they got in the car Andy handed Robert one of the pictures. He put it in his clear phone case so he could see it whenever.
"Should we tell the team before dad and Luke?" Andy asked.
"No. I think we should put it on the fridge tomorrow and have Maya, Lucas, and Pruitt over for dinner tonight and give them the pictures." He suggested.
"That's sounds like a plan. Ooooo! Could you make chicken Alfredo please." Andy said.
"Yes I can but I will need to go to the store first." He said.
"Ok we can go after shift." She said as they pulled up to the station.
They got out of the car and he gave her a quick kiss before they walked into the station. Robert headed to his office while Andy headed for the locker room. When Andy walked in Maya was standing by her locker texting.
Andy walked over to her and said, "Ooo who you texting."
"Nope you can't see this one. It is private information." Maya said turning her phone off.
"Ugh. Well I got you something." She said pulling the little picture out of her pocket.
"Oh my. Andy I can't wait," she looks around to make sure no one can hear as she whispers, "till you have this baby. I'm so excited to be an aunt!"
"I know I can't wait either! I'm starving." She said as she started changing into her uniform.
"Hurry and we can go eat." Maya said walking out.
"Ok but I have to talk to Robert first." She said turning towards the stairs.
"Ok" she replied.
"Hey I have the papers so next shift will start you only being on aid car and desk duty." Robert said as Andy walked in.
"Ok. Will you come join us upstairs for breakfast please." She said giving him puppy eyes.
"Yeah I'll be up there in a minute." He said.
"Ok." She said walking over to kiss him. "I love you."
"Love you too." He said as she walked out.
When she was walking up the stairs when something fell out of her pocket.
"Andy you dropped th-" someone tried to say but she was to far up and when they looked down they were in total shock.
