Chapter 27: Return to Disney Town
Sora and the gang returns to Disney Town. They were walking to the market street, where Vivi was running in panic.
Vivi: HELP! The sandlot! It's Seifer! Somebody, please help us!
Sora: Sounds like someone's in trouble! We better hurry to the sandlot!
The trio made their way to the sandlot, where they encountered Nobodies. They have surrounded Seifer, Rai, and Fuu. Seifer tried to get up, but he fell back down. Sora arrives to save them and pulls out his Keyblade.
Sora: We'll take care of them!
The trio battles the Nobodies, including a new type called Berserkers. They are big Nobodies with big swords. The Berserkers swings their swords around, doing massive damage. They also shrink themselves to enlarge their swords, but Sora manages to grab one and and swing the giant sword around to destroy the other Nobodies. The trio manages to destroy all of the Nobodies.
?: Impressive.
The trio looks around to see who it was. Suddenly, a black-hooded figure appears in front of them.
No. VII: Have you seen a man named Axel? I heard he's here somewhere.
Sora: Why should I care?
No. VII: You see, Axel's no longer acting in our best interest.
Dizzy: Is Axel with Organization, too?
No. VII: Yes.
Plucky: Are you having a fight?
Sora: Not a very organized Organization if you ask me.
The hooded figure points at Sora.
No. VII: Don't let your guard down. Axel will stop at nothing to turn you into a Heartless.
Sora:(Sarcasm)Gee, thanks for looking out for us, mister.(Normal)But I'm sure we can take care of ourselves just fine.
No. VII: Glad to hear it. Axel aside, it would break our hearts if something happens to you.
Plucky: Hearts? You don't have any hearts!
No. VII: It's true we don't have hearts.
The hooded figure pulls down his hood, revealing a man with long blue hair, yellow eyes, and an x-shaped scar on his face.
No. VII: But we remember what it was like. That's what makes us special.
A dark portal appears besides him.
Dizzy: What you mean?
No. VII: We know very well how to injure a heart.
Sora: Who are you?
No. VII: I am Saix. You just keep on fighting those Heartless, Sora.
Sora:(Whispers)Let's jump in after him!
Plucky:(Whispers)Like how?
Sora:(Whispers)Maybe we'll follow him to the Organization's world.
Saix: Don't be reckless. Do you wanna end up like Riku?
Sora: What?
Saix walks through the portal and disappears.
Sora: Hey, wait!
The portal disappears as well.
Sora: What did he mean "end up like Riku?"
?: Hey, how about you get outta my town now?
Everyone turns to see Seifer and the gang up.
Seifer: You've caused enough trouble.
Sora: Riku...
Plucky: Have it your way! Come on, guys!
Seifer: Hold it!
Plucky: Make up your mind!
Seifer brings out a blue trophy with four crystal balls on it.
Seifer: This trophy belongs to the strongest guy in Disney Town.
Sora points to himself in confusion, then smiles.
Sora: Thanks, but...we don't really need it.
Seifer gave the trophy to Dizzy anyway.
Seifer: Just take it!
Seifer and his gang left the sandlot. Suddenly, Donald came running in.
Donald: Sora!
Sora turns to Donald.
Sora: You're Donald, right?
Donald: Yes. Do you know a girl named Kairi?
Sora: Kairi? I sure do! Where is she?
Donald: You better come to the station!
The trio follows Donald all the way to the station. Suddenly, Mickey and Minnie appears.
Mickey: Hey, guys!
Sora: So, how do you guys know about Kairi?
Mickey and Minnie looks at each other for a moment, then looks down in sadness. They explain in a flashback. In the flashback at the secret area, Kairi and Furrball are with Mickey and his friends.
Sora: Kairi was really here?
Mickey: Yeah, and...she said she was looking for you.
Sora: Tell me where she is!
Mickey: Well...
In the secret area, Kairi was talking about Sora to the three Disney Toons.
Minnie: What a romantic story!
Donald: If you stick around, Sora might show up.
Mickey: Yeah. He said he'll come back.
Kairi: OK. That sounds like a plan.
?: What took you so long, Kairi?
Suddenly, a dark portal appears and Axel came out of it.
Furrball: Not you again! How did you find us?
Axel: Somehow, I just knew you'd be here. I tell you, Kairi. You've got alot of guts, jumping right into the dark portal like that.
Mickey and Donald tried to attack Axel, but they fell right through him. Furrball tried to attack him, but he pushed the cat away. He slowly walks over to Kairi, grabs her arm, and walks away.
Kairi: Let go of me!
Axel disappears through the portal with Kairi. Furrball jumps into the portal. Just as Mickey and Donald got up, the portal disappears. Back to present, Sora was looking at Kairi's lucky charm.
Sora: Kairi...
Dizzy: Do Plucky think it might be Axel?
Plucky nods.
Mickey: Sorry we couldn't protect her.
Sora: Hey, it's not your fault. Come on, cheer up!
But they're all still depressed. Sora then looks down in depression as well.
Sora: Like I can even say that...I gotta help Kairi!
He accidentally knocks Dizzy back, making him drop the trophy, which made the crystals fall out of the trophy. The three crystals rolled up to Mickey and his friends. Mickey grabs the red one, Donald grabs the green one, and Minnie grabs the yellow one.
Donald: That was close!
Sora picks up the blue crystal and raised it up to the sun. Dizzy pulls out the blue crystal from the pouch and also raised it up to the sun. Mickey, Donald, and Minnie all did the same thing with their crystals. Suddenly, Sora changes into Roxas for a moment.
Plucky: Sora?
Suddenly, Sora returns to normal.
Dizzy: Is Sora OK?
Sora: What are you talking about?
Dizzy looks at the pouch, then scratched his head. Suddenly, Sora's blue crystal starts glowing and floating. Sora summons his Keyblade, the crystal reveals the Keyhole, and the Keyblade unlocks it. Mickey and his friends saw what happened.
Donald: What just happened?
Sora: A new road has opened. And Kairi and Riku are waiting somewhere along it.
Minnie: You'd better hurry, then.
Mickey: Will you come back?
Sora: We will. Promise!
He then puts Kairi's lucky charm called the Oathkeeper on his Keyblade. His Keyblade now looks like a white sword with a star at the end. Suddenly, Sora's clothes also starts changing, too. He is now in his old red jumpsuit.
Dizzy: What happen to Sora's clothes.
Sora: This is my new Drive Form called the Limit Form. Now, I can use moves from my previous adventure like Sonic Blade, Strike Raid, and Ragnarok.
Plucky: That's pretty cool!
Sora said good-bye to Mickey and his friends and returns to the Gummi Ship. Meanwhile, in the white room with thirteen chairs, Saix appears through the dark portal on one of the chairs. The leader of the Organization is in the room.
Saix: I passed on the message as so you wished. I told Sora to keep on defeating the Heartless.
No. I: Good. Not only have you the power to cause pain, you also have the power to plant seeds of doubt into one's heart. Sora will soon begin to doubt himself. It will cause him to hesitate, and that hesitation will turn into anger. That anger will fuel him to get rid of his apprehension and move forward. He will pave the way for the future we desire.
Saix: There's something I've meant to ask.
No. I: About Axel. The poor fool. How long will he keep chasing the illusion of friendship, when he himself lacks emotion? Trying so hard to retrieve what he has lost, when it may have never existed in the first place. He deserves nothing more than our pity.
Back on the Gummi Ship, Sora looks down in disappointment.
Sora: First Buster, then Riku, and now I've lost Kairi again, too.
Plucky: Don't be sad, Sora.
Dizzy: Plucky's right! Sora is key that connects everything.
Sora: So, it's all my fault.
Dizzy: Dizzy didn't mean that. Just do what come natural and we sure to find them.
Plucky: You said it!
Sora: Thanks, guys.
Elder-Ham: So, where do we go now?
Sweetie: Well, we haven't opened any new worlds.
Sora: Then why don't we head back to Hollow Bastion.
Sneezer: Good idea. We haven't been there for a while.
Sweetie: Then let's go back to Hollow Bastion.
The Gummi Ship returns to Hollow Bastion, only to find dark waves surrounding it.
Sweetie: Oh no! Hollow Bastion is all covered in darkness!
Sneezer: You're right, Sweetie! I wonder what's going on.
Sweetie: Sora, we better hurry and check it out right away!
Sora: Then let's depart right away!
The Gummi Ship departs for Hollow Bastion.
