Lonesome Flats
Across the bare rocky plains outside of Lonesome Flats, the Anglerbus and Caterbus traveled, Eddy alongside Barb's bus, riding on his Backhog, Lemmy. Twiggy riding right next to Poppy's Caterbus on her Growlbeast, Thorns. The two beasts ran alongside the buses as inside the Rock Queen's Bus Barb looked at her map.
"Okay, we should be heading into Lonesome Flats soon," Barb said as the buses drove along the flat grounds, Poppy sticking her head out the window asking how long it would be.
"The Guys kind of want to stop to get something to eat" Poppy explained as Barb stuck her head out saying they weren't stopping for anything, for all they knew Deyo could be heading to Lonesome Flats, or worse already have the Country String" Barb explained as Poppy looked at her friends, saying they would eat when they arrived as Twiggy, was looking through binoculars, saying she saw a small western type town Barb looked at her.
"That's It," Barb said as the Tour stopped outside of Lonesome Flats, the Trolls leaving their buses as Eddy and Twiggy tied their beasts to a post, telling them to keep still.
"I Never picked you for the Backhog Type, I always saw you riding a Beetlebike" Twiggy stated as Eddy shook his head, saying he hated heights as he looked down, imagine Jesse sharing a laugh.
"We shouldn't have just buried Jesse in the foggy wilderness, we should have brought him back here" Twiggy added as Branch looked at her, asking who Jesse was. Twiggy informed him about their friend who was killed by Deyo in the future and fell with them through the portal.
"We can't change what happened so let's just keep moving forward," Eddy said, walking with a group consisting of Barb, Poppy, Branch, Twiggy, and Trollex.
"Okay, we can't take all the Pop Trolls with so who's helping set up camp and who's going into Lonesome Flats," Branch asked as Creek put his fingers together, saying he would stay behind and help the camp set up with a Good Feng Shui as Branch looked at him.
"I also feel uneasy about new places" Creek admitted as it was known he was a coward, considering he once sold the Pop Trolls out to save his own skin.
"Well I'm staying with Poppy," Smidge said, approaching the group, making it clear she stood by her Queen's side as her Best friend. Biggie and Mr. Dinkles agreed to stay here, Cooper decided to come with, saying it seemed fun as Guy joined the group, never turning down a chance to meet new people, being a very social Troll. Fuzzbert and DJ Suki agreed to stay and help set up.
"I think we should go with the group," Satin said and Chenille said she wanted to stay and help decorate the camp, as they argued as Twiggy looked at them, saying she'd flip a coin and the winner could choose, flicking a metal coin as the twins called it. Satin won as the twins agreed to stay at camp.
"So Smidge, Guy Diamond and Copper and coming with, while Biggie, Dinkles, Creek, Fuzzbert, Suki and the Twins would stay at the camp" Branch cleared up looking at Poppy who was okay with it.
The nine Trolls headed into Lonesome Flats as Eddy looked at Copper, who was a furry four-legged creature, making a note that he was not a Pop Troll but a Funk Troll, wondering why he was a part of the Pop Tribe but did not say anything.
"So Trollex, how can you stand on that weird fishtail?" Poppy asked, interested in the mermaid Troll as Trollex smiled, saying it was all in balance. The Trolls walked into the small town of Lonesome Flats, sticking out like Branch at a party. it was no surprise the Country Trolls turned to look at the strangers, pulling their guns as they put their hands up.
"Well Fudge," Branch said, looking at the Trolls who were aiming shotguns and revolvers at them.
"Just do as they say" Barb ordered, not wanting to give them a reason to lock them up or worse, as she turned to one of the Country Trolls, introducing herself as the Queen of Rock, saying the Queen of Pop and King Of Techno were with her. All they wanted was to speak with who was in charge.
"She's right here" a voice informed belonging to the leader of the Country Trolls, Delta Dawn, walking up to them, carrying her banjo which housed the orange string of Country Music as Eddy sighed.
"It looks like Deyo hasn't come here yet" Poppy concluded looking at the bright string as Eddy shook his head, saying the buildings intact and the population walking around was his first clue. Eddy approached Dawn telling her that they needed the Country string.
"Just like those other troublemakers" Dawn responded as the Country Trolls aimed their guns as Barb looked at her, asking what others she was talking about. Dawn told her about the five trolls that came to Lonesome Flats, saying they tried to sneak the Country string away when she was sleeping last night.
"They're in the jail right now and from the looks of it you'll be joining them soon" Dawn decided as Eddy looked at her, claiming they did not seek to steal her string as Dawn tossed a folded piece of cloth to Eddy as he unrolled it. reading the message that was written by Barb as Delta informed her she knew all about the Rock Queen's 'World Tour' as she called it, and assumed she hired those thugs.
"Please I would never... I mean I have worked with mercs before but I did not send anyone after you, who's in the jail?" Barb asked as Dawn gave them a description of the criminals, Barb pieced together that it was the Barbershop Boys and Little Miss Polka who tried to steal the string.
"The Barbershop Boys are a joke and Little Miss Polka is the worst Merc on the board, I would never hire them. If I wanted your string I'd hire someone like Chaz or KPOP" Barb defended as Eddy looked at Dawn.
"Delta Dawn, please just hear us out and I'm sure after we tell you what is going on you'll willingly help us" Eddy requested as Dawn said she wasn't one for flapping her gums but would give them a chance to explain, considering that 3 of the six leaders were in the group.
Eddy proceeded to tell her about Deyo and how he was after the strings, he had already gotten the Classical String and Trollzart and his people were missing from the ruins of Symphonyville and presumed dead. They were able to get to Poppy and Trollex before Deyo and currently possessed three strings.
"Deyo wants the strings and he's willing to kill for them and he told them everything as Dawn just looked at them, asking them if they were aware how absurd a demonic overlord from the future sounded as Eddy looked at her.
"That's how you know it's true if we were lying would we make up something so stupid and unbelievable," Eddy asked as Branch looked at him, saying they never actually saw Deyo earning a look from Eddy, who asked what he was implying.
"I Just saying, the only ones who have ever claimed to see Deyo are Twiggy and You, Barb, have you seen Deyo?" Branch asked as she tugged the collar of her shirt, saying that she never actually saw Deyo.
"So, how do we know you didn't just invent this Deyo character to get us all together" Branch suggested as Eddy clocked him in the face, telling him to shut up.
"Deyo has killed people close to me, family and friends, and you have the gull to dismiss that," Eddy said as Barb and Poppy held the two boys back, Branch wiped his mouth, saying if they came face to face with Deyo he would eat his words.
"Looks like you may get your wish," Twiggy said pointing up into the clouds as the Queen's let go, seeing a pair of wings flapping across the sky, as Deyo landed in the town square as Eddy unsheathed his sword and charging the demon.
"You son of-" Eddy said as Deyo swung his trident, sending Eddy flying on his back as he walked to the downed Rocker.
"Edward, it is so good to see you, I was beginning to get bored here, I thought destroying the cloud city would perk me up but Trolls the days... terrible fighters, at least you and your friend can give me a workout" Deyo teased as Eddy got up grabbing his sword, clashing weapons with Deyo.
"I heard you've been collecting strings, so if you would mind handing them over," Deyo requested, their weapons clanging together as the other Trolls looked shocked.
"That's convincing enough for me," Dawn ordered, telling the townspeople to go after the stranger. Twiggy readied her Crossbow, Barb held up her Guitar, Trollex held up a ball of water in his hand, and Poppy and Branch got ready to fight with the hair. Deyo smiled, charging the group
A/N And Deyo had officially caught up with the group, what will take place next. An intense battle or Will Deyo simply get rid of his opposition.
