Chapter two of Horace's dream.
The next morning Horace looked at Miss Peregrine while they were eating their breakfast.
"I had another dream about that Tatiana girl and Abe," Horace said. Everyone looked at him, and Miss Peregrine looked at him.
"We will watch it after we finish breakfast," Alma said, looking at her children. They wanted to see what happened, but so did Alma. She couldn't stop thinking of Tatiana. She wanted to see more of her and also help her.
Everyone walked into the movie room. Horace put his monocle in and started the dream when Miss Peregrine turned off the lights. What came up was Abe teaching Tatiana more of her gifts. While teaching her, he looked outside his window and saw a wight was outside. He grabbed Tatiana.
"Go hide. I will come to get you when it is safe," Abe told her. She ran into his bedroom and hid underneath his bed. Abe went to his gun cabinet and grabbed his gun. When he turned around, the wights were coming inside the front door.
Everyone watched, frightened as Abe faced the wight.
"We have come for the girl. Give her to us." The wight yelled. Tatiana heard him but made no sound.
"You can't have her," Abe replied before killing him with his gun. Abe went into his bedroom and looked under his bed to see a frightened Tatiana. He helped her up.
"Why did they want me, Abe?" Tatiana asked, crying. Abe looked at her while hugging her.
"Because you can heal them, and if they find you, they will make, you heal anyone like bad peculiars. I will protect you. I won't let them find you." Abe whispered to the crying Tatiana. The children and Alma went to bed, processing the new information about Tatiana.
