Chapter 3, Horace's last dream.

The children and Alma walked into the movie room, and Horace played the last dream he had of Tatiana and Abe. The dream showed Tatiana now living with Abe. Abe was showing his grandson Jake his map of loops while telling him about his adventures. Abe and Tatiana were putting Jake to bed. Tatiana sat on the end of Jake's bed while Abe sat in the chair beside the bed.

Abe got the box out and started telling them about his adventure and how he met Miss Peregrine and her children. Abe got the pictures out and showed them both. Tatiana held onto the one of Miss Peregrine.

When Jake fell asleep, they walked out of the bedroom and into the lounge room to sit down on the couch. Tatiana looked at Abe.

"What was she like, Miss Peregrine?" Tatiana asked Abe.

"She was really nice. She is brave. She would protect her children and was always there for them and me when we needed her," Abe replied.

"She sounds lovely," Tatiana said. Abe nodded his head at her. They went to bed in their own bedrooms. The next day Jake went home to his parents, and Tatiana stayed with Abe.

"Do you think she will like me if we ever met?" Tatiana asked Abe.

"I think she would have liked you. If she could see what you can do, she would protect you as I do," Abe told her, smiling at her.

It was in the middle of the afternoon when Abe felt something was wrong. He grabbed Tatiana's hand and took her to the door. He grabbed her face, kissed her on the forehead.

"You need to go. Something is wrong. I need you to be safe. You are like my daughter. I can't lose you," Abe said. Abe watched Tatiana ran away from the house. It soon turned dark. The children watched as Mr. Barron showed up at Abe's house.

"Where is she? You can't hide her forever?" Mr. Barron said.

"You can't have her," Abe yelled. The children then saw Tatiana coming back. They heard her tell herself, 'you can't leave him.' Everyone held they're breathe as Tatiana sneaked back into the house. Watching from the backyard window and into the backyard where Abe and Mr. Barron was.

Tatiana watched as something lifted Abe into the air, and it took his eyes. Tatiana covered her mouth with her hand as she cried. Mr. Barron soon left, and so did whatever was holding Abe up. Tatiana ran outside and cried onto Abe's chest. Abe's hand went onto Tatiana's head. She lifted her head and looked at Abe.

"Go, your not safe here anymore. They will find you, I can't protect you anymore, but the bird will. Find her," Abe said. They watched as Jake came up behind Tatiana and held her as she cried. They both left.

The dream ended, and everyone had tears in their eyes. They didn't go to sleep that night. They were worried when Horace's dreams would come true.
