Chapter 43: Sora's Crystal Shard Adventure Part 2
Inside the concert hall, the gang were about to play a song. Fololo and Falala are still the conductors and several Cappies are playing the instruments.
Sora: The trees here are always greener...Near somebody else's lake.
He did a little spin.
Fololo: You dream about going out there...But that is a big mistake.
Tiff just makes a frowning face.
Falala: Just look at the world around you...Right here in the Cappy Town.
Plucky and Dizzy did a little spin.
Fololo: Such wonderful things surround you...Why are you looking so down?
Tiff did a little spin.
Fololo & Falala: Here in Dreamland...Here in Dreamland...
Sora: Darling, we're happy, here with the Cappies, nothing is bland...
He did a little spin again.
Fololo: Up in those worlds they work all day...Out in the sun they slave away...
Tiff still makes a frowning face.
Falala: While we're devoting, full time to floating, here in Dreamland...
The instruments play for a few seconds.
Fololo & Falala: Here in Dreamland...
Cappies: Here in Dreamland...
Fololo & Falala: Here in Dreamland...
Cappies: Here in Dreamland...
Fololo: Since life is sweet here, we got the beat here, nothing is bland...
Fololo and Falala did a little spin.
Sora: Even the hamster and the owl...
Tiff: They get the urge to play and howl...
Rick and Coo did a little dance.
Falala: We got the spirit, you got to hear it, here in Dreamland...
Sora pops two giant bubbles from the bubble machines.
Everyone: Here in Dreamland...
Cappies: Here in Dreamland...
Everyone: Here in Dreamland...
Cappies: Here in Dreamland...
Tiff: When the Cappies begin to be happy, it's music to me...
Tiff did a little spin again.
Fololo: What do they got? Alot of sand...
Falala: We got the happy Waddle Dee band...
Sora taps the bubble machine and many little bubbles came out.
Tiff: Each little clam here, know how to jam here...
Fololo & Falala: Here in Dreamland...
Tiff did a little spin again.
Sora & Tiff: Each little slug here, cutting a rug here, here in Dreamland...
Sora and Tiff danced together.
Fololo: Each little snail here, know how to wail here...
Sora: That's why were happy...
Tiff: Here with the Cappies...
Falala: Yeah, we're in luck here, down in the muck here...
Everyone: Here in Dreamland!
Everyone did the final dance, then the music ends. Everyone left the concert hall
Fololo: What do you think, Tiff?
Tiff: I think it's a great song. But...It's not what I wanna sing.
Fololo and Falala gasped.
Tiff: I wanna sing about...how all worlds can live together in harmony.
Falala: But your parents will get mad at us if you sing a song like that!
Tiff: I you won't listen, then I'm not gonna sing at all.
She starts walking away.
Sora: Tiff!
Sora, Kirby, and the rest of the gang follows her. Fololo and Falala just stood there.
Fololo: How do we get ourselves into these situations?
Falala: Not only do Tiff and Tuff still wanna travel to other worlds, but Kirby's in love with someone from another world.
?: Kirby's in love with someone from another world?
Fololo and Falala gasped and turns around to see Sir Ebrum. But something is strange about him. He seems angry and has red eyes.
Fololo: Us and our big mouths.
Back to the gang, they are walking around Green Green. They saw something shine in the distant and walked over to it. They found some kind of blue diamond-shaped crystal under a boulder.
Tiff: What's that?
Ribbon: It must be the crystal from my world.
Dizzy: But we can't pull it out of boulder.
Sora: Don't worry. I'll use Magnera to pull it out.
He uses Magnera to pull the crystal out of the boulder.
Tuff: Good thinking, Sora. Now, let's go back to the castle.
Everyone returns to the castle. They went down to Kirby's treasure room. Everyone looks at the crystal.
Ribbon: This is great, Sora. I'm happy to have this crystal back.
?: And where is that crystal from?
Everyone turns around to see Ebrum.
Tiff: Daddy, is something wrong?
Ebrum: Tiff, you know how dangerous it is to travel to other worlds!
Tiff: But you let me travel to other worlds before.
She looks back at the fairy statue.
Tiff: I understand that some worlds can be dangerous. But they can't be all dangerous. I still wanna travel to other worlds.
Ebrum: So help me, Tiff. I am going to get through to you. And if this is the only way...So be it!
He walks over to the statue and pushed it down to the ground, making it crumble into pieces.
Ribbon: NO! Not my statue!
Ribbon and Tiff leaves the room in sadness. Sora, Kirby and the rest of the gang follows them. They left the castle and returned to Cappy Town. Kirby, Ribbon, Tiff, and Tuff are on a bench looking sad.
?: Poor children.
They all turned to see King Dedede and Escargoon, but something's strange with Dedede. His eyes were shut sinisterly.
Tiff: Dedede, why are your eyes weird?
Escargoon: You kids better stay away from him. He's got a-
Dedede slams Escargoon with a hammer.
Dedede: How could I leave you kids alone...when I knew you were all miserable? What you need is an advice from good old Dedede. What if I could make all yer dreams come true?
Tiff: But, daddy would never allow it...
Escargoon: She's right. What if her parents finds out she's gone?
Dedede slams Escargoon with a hammer again.
Dedede: It mustn't be love if you give up that easily.
He looks at Kirby and Ribbon. They both blushed.
Tiff: Could...could you really help us?
Dedede: Well...the only way to get what you want is to leave Dreamland forever.
Tiff and Tuff gasped upon that comment.
Tiff: Leave Dreamland forever? But wouldn't our parents be worried?
Escargoon: She's right. Her parents would be very worried.
Dedede slams Escargoon again.
Dedede: My dear, sweet children...that's what I would do if my parents wouldn't let me leave.
Fololo and Falala were watching from the distance.
Fololo: This is terrible, Falala! We better go tell Sir Ebrum!
Falala: Right!
Before the twins could leave, they got captured by Monty and Team Rocket. They are in their oval bodies, too. Monty has a black body, Jessie and James has white bodies with red letters R on them, and Meowth has a cream-colored body.
Meowth: We won't let you two twerps tell anybody!
Monty: That's right! We'll let Dark Matter deceive those kids!
Fololo & Falala: DARK MAT-
Team Rocket covers their mouths. Back to Dedede and the kids...
Dedede: Have we got a deal? I'll send you kids to another world right now. All you gotta do is sign the contract.
Tiff: A contract?
Dedede: That's right, sweetheart. And the price is just a token. What I want is...yer crystal.
Ribbon gasped at that comment.
Ribbon: My crystal? No way! That crystal belongs to my world!
Dedede: If you don't give it to me, you won't go to other worlds anymore! I suppose you find my terms a little tough. After all, you are the Fairy Queen's daughter. Adored by all of Ripple Star.
Ribbon: How did you know about my mother and my home world?
Dedede: I did my little homework about you. Why, you're practically guaranteed a happy life. Are you sure you don't wanna see yer mother? All it'll cost you is yer return home. Come on, sweetheart. This is yer last chance. But far be it from me to twist your arm.
Escargoon: Don't listen to him, kids! He's controlled by-
Dedede grabs him by the neck. The four kids stood to think for a moment. Dedede lets go of Escargoon and turns around.
Dedede: Well, now. I won't bother you any longer. I'll be on my way. You obviously don't want my help. Too bad about yer adventures. They are quite alot of fun...
Ribbon: WAIT!
Dedede turns back to them, walks up to them, and shows them the contract. He gave them a quill.
Tiff: All we have to do is sign?
Dedede: If you wanna travel to other worlds again, then yes.
Kirby, Ribbon, Tiff, and Tuff signs the contract. They gave the quill back to Dedede.
Dedede: We have a deal! Here you go!
Back in the distance, Team Rocket are still holding Fololo and Falala captive.
Falala: DON'T DO IT, GUYS!
Suddenly, Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, and Meta-Knight ran up to the gang.
Fololo: Sora, please! You gotta stop Dedede!
Sora: WAIT! Don't do it, Dedede!
Dedede creates a dark portal in the sky. He magically took the crystal from Ribbon's hands. Suddenly, a pillar of light came down from the portal and starts sucking the four kids into it.
Sora: We gotta follow them!
Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, and Meta-Knight jumps into the pillar and follows the kids. Dedede laughs maniacally. The kids and Sora's group all fell unconscious and got teleported to another world. The world has a golden sky and pink grass all over the place. In front of the gang is a large castle with a fountain in front of it. Suddenly, a fairy came outside. She seems have black hair with two long pigtails, wears a golden crown, glasses, and a white dress with a red long skirt. She found the gang unconscious and walks up to them.
Fairy: Are you all OK? Please wake up!
The gang woke up to see the fairy. Ribbon seems to be very happy and flew up to her.
Ribbon: Mother!
She hugs her mother.
Fairy: I'm so glad to see you too, Ribbon!
Tiff: You know her, Ribbon?
Ribbon: Yes. She's my mother. She's the Fairy Queen of Ripple Star.
Tuff: So, this is Rippler Star?
Fairy Queen: Well, hello there. Where did you all come from?
Tiff: We came from Dreamland.
Fairy Queen: Dreamland? I never heard of such a place.
Ribbon: Mother, it's a land from the planet Pop Star.
Fairy Queen: Pop Star? That name sounds very familiar.
Tuff: Now, where can we stay?
Fairy Queen: Well, you can all come stay in my castle.
Sora: That sounds good to me.
The Fairy Queen leads Sora, Kirby and the rest of the gang through the castle. They also introduced themselves to her. She shows them their guest rooms, too. They all went to bed that night. The next morning, Sora and the gang all went out to the courtyard.
Sora: Looks like it's going pretty well.
Dizzy: But shouldn't we tell Sir Ebrum about this?
Meta-Knight: We can't. We're stuck in this world.
Tuff: Meta-Knight's right. Besides, it would break daddy's heart if he finds out about it.
Sora: Then what are we gonna do?
Tiff: We'll stay here in Ripple Star and have fun. That's what we're gonna do.
Sora: I guess that's all we can do.
As the gang walks through the castle hallway, they saw Kirby and Ribbon playing.
Tiff: It looks like these two are having alot of fun.
Sora: Yeah. But are we gonna just stay in this world for nothing?
Meta-Knight: Do you have any better ideas?
Sora: We could ask Dedede to fix all of this.
Tuff: But he's back in Pop Star, while were stuck here in Ripple Star.
Meta-Knight: Besides, he wouldn't even bother with you.
Sora: Hey, you never know, unless you try.
Meta-Knight: Hmm...you may be right. It's gotta be better than doing nothing. Can I trust you to take care of Dedede?
Sora: Of course!
The gang stays in Ripple Star for a few days. On the third night, Kirby and Ribbon were on a canoe at a lake. Kirby was rowing the boat. Tiff and Tuff were watching the two lovers.
Tiff:(Giggles)Don't you think these two look cute together, Tuff?
Tuff: Yeah. I wonder where Sora and the others are?
Suddenly, Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy returns.
Sora: Hey, guys! Where's Meta-Knight?
Tiff: He flew back to Pop Star.
Plucky: He can fly into space?
Tuff: Yep. He went to tell daddy about us.
Dizzy: Dizzy wonder if it about Kirby or Ribbon?
Sora: If Sir Ebrum finds out about what happened, we're in hot water. Especially since we kept it a secret.
Tiff: What about Dedede?
Plucky: We don't know.
Sora: Well, how are Kirby and Ribbon doing?
Tuff: They are doing fine.
Tiff: Hey, look!
Everyone looks to see Kirby and Ribbon about to lean in for a kiss. Sora covers Tiff and Tuff's eyes.
Tuff: Hey, I can't see!
Suddenly, something shook the canoe and Ribbon fell on top of Kirby. Monty and Team Rocket nearly tipped the boat.
Tiff: They're OK!
Sora: Man...They were so close.
Dizzy: Dizzy think we go back to look for Dedede.
Sora: Yeah. Good idea.
The gang went back to bed that night. The next day, they went around to look for Dedede, but still couldn't find him.
Sora: No sign of Dedede anywhere...
Dizzy: Dizzy wonder where Penguin King have gone.
Everyone then saw Kirby and Ribbon depressed. Tiff and Tuff are with them. Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy walks up to them.
Sora: Hey, guys! What's going on?
Tiff: Kirby and Ribbon have been crying for a long time.
?: I'm tellin you, they are nothin but a bunch of thieves who stole the crystal!
Everyone looks to see Dedede talking to the Fairy Queen.
Sora: What is Dedede up to?
Tuff: Look! There!
He points to the crystal that Dedede's holding.
Tiff: That must be the crystal! I wonder what he plans to do with it.
Sora: OK, that's it!
He summons his Keyblade and fires a beam at Dedede, making him drop the crystal. The crystal suddenly glows and fires a beam at Dedede. Suddenly, a black creature with red eyes got extracted from Dedede and he fell to the ground.
Fairy Queen: What's going on?
Kirby and Ribbon saw what happened and grabs the crystal.
Sora: Way to go, Kirby!
?: Not so fast!
Everyone turns to see the black creature.
Kirby, Ribbon, Tiff, & Tuff: DARK MATTER!
Dark Matter: You may have found out about me controlling your King, but you won't stop me this time!
Dark Matter creates a dark portal in the sky and a pillar of light came down on the gang, sending them up to the portal. Dark Matter follows them up to the portal.
Fairy Queen: RIBBON!
Meanwhile, back in Dreamland. Ebrum and Lady Like are looking for Tiff and Tuff.
Lady Like: Where are my children? I'm so worried about them!
Ebrum: Perhaps I was being a little too harsh on them.
Suddenly, Ebrum was acting a little weird.
Ebrum: Oh, dear. I don't think I feel so well.
Lady Like: What's the matter, dear?
Suddenly, another Dark Matter came out of Ebrum. He fell to the ground as well.
Lady Like: Oh my gosh! What is that thing?
Dark Matter: I am Dark Matter, a servant of Zero. Now, our plan is complete.
Dark Matter flew away. Meanwhile, the other Dark Matter with the gang returns to Dreamland. The Dark Matter that possessed Sir Ebrum appears as well.
Sora: Now, there are two Dark Matters?
Dark Matter 1: There are more than two of us.
Dark Matter 2: That's right. And we serve our master.
Plucky: Who's your master?
Suddenly, a dark portal appears from the sky. Coming out of it is a giant round white creature with a red eye and two more Dark Matters next to it. Kirby, Tiff, and Tuff recognizes the creature.
Kirby, Tiff, & Tuff: ZERO!
The two Dark Matters flew back to Zero. Zero flew down to the gang.
Zero: Now, children. It's time that you owe me.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy steps in front of Zero.
Sora: Leave them alone!
Zero: Stay out of this, you fools!
Zero shows the contract.
Zero: Those children signed a contract!
The Dark Matters pushed the trio out of the way.
Zero: Now, children...Let's see what happens to you, when I'm through with you!
Sora: That contract's no good!
?: Let them go!
Everyone turns to see Ebrum, Lady Like, and all of the people of Cappy Town. Fololo and Falala are there, too.
Zero: Now, now, even the great Sir Ebrum and Lady Like can't go around, breaking binding contracts. Why, it just wouldn't do, would it? Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some loose ends to tie up.
Suddenly, Monty and Team Rocket shows up and are holding Kirby, Ribbon, Tiff, and Tuff hostage.
Ebrum: Wait, Zero! You win. Just let my children go.
Zero: But they made a deal. Unless you're offering to take their places?
Ebrum: I'm afraid...I have no choice.
Lady Like: I'll join in, too.
Zero shows them the contract and a quill. Ebrum and Lady Like signs it.
Fololo: No, Your Highness!
Zero laughs evilly. Suddenly, a dark portal appears under Ebrum and Lady Lake and they fell into it.
Tiff: MOMMY! DADDY!
Zero: First, King Dedede and now, Sir Ebrum and Lady Like. Who's the "mighty ruler" of Pop Star now?
Tuff: YOU MONSTER! BRING BACK OUR PARENTS!
Suddenly, something slashed at Zero at really highspeed. Everyone turns around to see Meta-Knight with his sword out. His sword called the Galaxia is a golden sword with spiky edges. Sword and Blade are with him.
Tiff: Meta-Knight!
Zero: How dare you! Meddlesome Star Warrior!
The four Dark Matters went after Meta-Knight, but Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy got in front of them.
Sora: Hey! That's enough!
Zero: Now, you'll all bow to me!
Suddenly, dark clouds started to surround all of Dreamland. Zero flew up to the sky. Team Rocket released Kirby and his friends.
Tiff: Kabu, send us the Warpstar!
In a distance, a giant brown tiki statue heard the call and responds.
Kabu: WARPSTAR!
A giant yellow star flew out of the tiki's mouth and flew towards Kirby. Suddenly, the Warpstar splits into four.
Sora: Why did the Warpstar split into four?
Meta-Knight: It must want you, Plucky, and Dizzy to join as well.
Suddenly, the crystal in Ribbon's hand transforms. It now looks like a Crystal Gun with three crystals together.
Ribbon: The crystal has transformed into the Crystal Gun.
She hands the Crystal Gun to Kirby.
Ribbon: Kirby, please be careful.
Kirby: Kirby will!
Kirby, Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy got on their Warpstars and follows Zero into space. They saw that Pop Star, as well as Ripple Star are covered in dark clouds. Even the entire solar system of Pop Star is covered in darkness.
Sora: We'll stop you, Zero!
Before the heroes could battle Zero, a giant Meowth robot got in their way. The Meowth robot has a R on it's chest.
Sora: Oh no! That R on that robot's chest. I bet I know who that is.
Suddenly, four figures appeared on top of the robot laughing. They are none other than Monty and Team Rocket.
Jessie: Prepare for trouble, we're working with Zero...
James: And make it double, we'll stop you heroes...
Monty: To protect the world from devastation...
James: To unite all people within our nation...
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love...
Monty: To extend our reach to the stars above...
Jessie: Jessie...
James: James...
Monty: Montana Max, now that's a name...
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light...
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight...
Monty: And we'll make sure this will be your last night!
Meowth: Meowth, dat's right!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Chimecho: Chime! Chime!
Sora: We don't have time to mess with you clowns!
Meowth: Well, too bad! We'll stop you from defeating Zero!
Monty and Team Rocket got back into their mech. The mech fires eye beams at the heroes, everyone except Plucky manages to dodge them. Plucky got zapped by the beams. The mech then fires it's forearms like rockets at the heroes, but they dodged them as well. Sora slashed at the mech multiple times, Plucky uses Fira and Blizzara at the mech, Dizzy uses Spin Attack, and Kirby uses the Crystal Gun to fire crystals at it. The mech took alot of damage. Sora and Plucky manages to finish off the mech using Thundara, shocking the mech, and making it explode. Monty and Team Rocket went flying off.
Jessie: No fair! How could these twerps destroy the mech with electricity?
James: I thought all our mechs are electricity proof!
Meowth: I forgot to tell you. I've made them Pikachu proof.
Monty: Well, you should've made them magic proof, too!
Wobbuffet: Wobba!
Monty & Team Rocket: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!
Chimecho: Chime! Chime!
A star twinkles at where they are sent flying to.
Plucky: That took care of Team Rocket.
Sora: Now, we need to take care of Zero.
The heroes flew to Zero, who now looks different. It has white wings with red feathers at the end and a halo on top of it's head. It has become Zero II.
Zero: This monster is back to bring it's wrath upon the sea. Kirby can't be rid of me, not that easily. And like all who dare defy me, he will learn his lesson well. Never toy with a creature like me.
Sora: You got what you deserved!
The Dark Matters attacked the heroes. The heroes managed to fight the back, as Zero sings.
Zero: Dark Matters! Loyal darlings, strong as the tide...Sweetest creatures, hasten to my side...Right now! Master needs you. Crush those stupid fools...make them writhe!
Zero II fires exploding stars from it's eyes. Sora and Kirby manages to dodge them all.
Sora: I don't think so!
Zero II fires exploding stars at Plucky and Dizzy. Dizzy dodged them, but Plucky got hit by one of them. Kirby fires his Crystal Gun to destroy the Dark Matters.
Sora: Alright! Way to go, Kirby!
Zero II is still firing exploding stars at the heroes.
Zero: What feeble creatures. No, I can't believe my eyes. Such a stubborn warrior, who is fighting for his prize. Without your precious fairy, now your crazy with revenge. I suppose I sympathize.
Zero II fires Thunder at the heroes, but they dodged the attack.
Kirby: Kirby won't lose Ribbon!
Sora: Right! We're with you all the way!
Sora fires a beam from his Keyblade, but Zero II counters with red beams coming from around it's eye.
Zero: Dark Matters! Loyal darlings, strong as the tide...Sweetest creatures, hasten to my side...Right now! Master needs you. Smash those stupid fools...make them writhe!
Sora: Sorry, "master"...Your children are toast!
Zero II fires more red beams at the heroes, but they dodged the attacks. Zero II then starts firing Thunder all over the battlefield.
Zero: This is not the end, my dears. I swear I've just begun. It's not over until Zero has won!
Sora: That's what you think!
Suddenly, one of the Thunders hits Kirby, making him drop the Crystal Gun, But Meta-Knight manages to grab it.
Zero: Give me that Crystal Gun!
Meta-Knight: Alright! You can have it!
He aims the Crystal Gun at Zero II and charges up the gun. It then fires a giant beam and hits Zero II's eye. Zero II screams in pain, as it explodes in a burst of light. The darkness around the solar system starts to disappear, as well as the dark clouds around Pop Star and Ripple Star. The heroes returned to Pop Star with everyone cheering for their victory. Ribbon and Tiff ran up to hug Kirby.
Ribbon: Kirby, you were amazing!
Kirby: Thanks, Ribbon.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy were watching them.
Sora: Alright! Kirby's a really brave warrior. And he now has a girlfriend.
Meta-Knight: Yes. But he's from Pop Star, while Ribbon is from Ripple Star.
Plucky: Oh, brother. Not again...
Kirby and his friends walks over to Sora and the gang.
Sora: How'd it go with your father, Tiff?
Tiff: Great! Thanks for your help.
Tuff: We gotta go. We'll see you later.
Kirby and his friends starts walking back to the castle.
Sora: Hey, wait...
Fololo: I almost forgot! Sir Ebrum said this year's festival is so important that the musical better be our best ever!
Sora: Alright, what's going on?
Falala: You gotta do us a favor.
Fololo and Falala flew up to Sora and whispers in his ears.
Sora: What?
Plucky: Huh?
Dizzy: but how?
Fololo: And it was gonna make the song perfect, too...
Falala: We agree to hold it in Ripple Star's castle, too...
Sora: So, is all of Dreamland gonna join, too?
Fololo & Falala: Yes!
Fololo: But first, we better go to bed. It's getting pretty late.
Sora: Well, now that you mention it, it is kinda late.
Plucky:(Yawn)I'm feeling tired right now.
Falala: You can all sleep at the castle. There are guest rooms in there, too.
Sora: Really? That's great! Let's sleep over for tonight.
Sora and the gang went over to the castle. Ebrum sets up the guest rooms for them and they slept for the night. Tomorrow is a big day.
