Chapter 6 Abe protects Tatiana.
One day while Tatiana was walking, she bumped into a skinny man with white eyes. She apologized to him, the man just stared at her, which creeped her out, so she walked away. She looked back and saw him following her.
Tatiana started running and didn't stop until she reached Abe's house. She ran inside, closing the door behind her. She ran over to Abe, who was sitting in his chair.
"Abe, a man followed me home. He had white eyes," Tatiana said in a panicky voice. Abe grabbed his gun out of his gun cabinet and told her to hide. She ran to his bedroom and hid underneath his bed. She heard the two men talking but didn't make a sound.
"We have come for the girl. Give her to us." The wight yelled. Tatiana heard him but made no sound.
"You can't have her," Abe replied
Abe killed the wight with his gun. He knew he had to protect Tatiana. Abe walked into his bedroom and looked under his bed and saw Tatiana with a terrified look on her face. He helped her up.
"Why did they want me, Abe?" Tatiana asked, crying. Abe looked at her while hugging her.
"Because you can heal them. If they find you, they will make you heal anyone like bad peculiars. I will protect you. I won't let them find you." Abe whispered to the crying Tatiana.
Abe also told her he would protect her. He wouldn't let the hollows or wights hurt her. She would be protected.
